Storms and Ballots: The Effect of Extreme Weather on Turnout and Vote Choice
No full textWe examine the causal effect of a sequence of extreme weather events on voter turnout and vote choice by leveraging a natural experiment during the 2026 Portuguese presidential election. The storms struck between the two rounds of the election: a subset of municipalities was severely affected, while others were largely spared. We exploit this exogenous shock by comparing changes in electoral outcomes between treated and untreated municipalities across the two rounds. Entre Gênero, Raça e Classe: Revisão de Escopo sobre a Teoria da Interseccionalidade

Objetivo: Mapear e analisar de que maneira a Teoria da Interseccionalidade tem sido aplicada nas produções científicas que abordam as relações entre gênero, raça e classe no contexto do cuidado em saúde de mulheres negras. Método: Trata-se de uma revisão de escopo conduzida conforme as diretrizes do Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) e o checklist PRISMA-ScR. A estratégia de busca será estruturada a partir do acrônimo PCC: P (População) — mulheres negras; C (Conceito) — Teoria da Interseccionalidade; e C (Contexto) — cuidado em saúde. A busca ocorrerá em sete bases de dados (BVS, PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Embase, SciELO e Google Acadêmico). Dois revisores independentes realizarão a triagem (título/resumo) e a leitura na íntegra por meio do software Rayyan QCRI. A extração dos dados será feita em planilha padronizada no Microsoft Excel®. A análise qualitativa do corpus textual será apoiada pelo software IRaMuTeQ, utilizando a Análise de Conteúdo de Bardin para a construção de categorias temáticas. Resultados Esperados: Espera-se que a revisão evidencie as principais estratégias metodológicas de operacionalização da interseccionalidade na saúde, identifique as lacunas na literatura empírica e forneça subsídios para o fortalecimento de práticas de cuidado e políticas públicas orientadas pela equidade e justiça social no campo da saúde da mulher negra.
ABSTRACT
Objective: To map and analyze how Intersectionality Theory has been applied in scientific productions addressing the relationships between gender, race, and class within the context of healthcare for Black women. Method: This is a scoping review conducted in accordance with the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) guidelines and the PRISMA-ScR checklist. The search strategy will be structured based on the PCC acronym: P (Population) — Black women; C (Concept) — Intersectionality Theory; and C (Context) — healthcare. The search will be performed across seven databases (BVS, PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Embase, SciELO, and Google Scholar). Two independent reviewers will perform screening (title/abstract) and full-text reading using Rayyan QCRI software. Data extraction will be conducted using a standardized Microsoft Excel® spreadsheet. Qualitative analysis of the textual corpus will be supported by IRaMuTeQ software, utilizing Bardin’s Content Analysis to develop thematic categories. Expected Results: The review is expected to highlight the main methodological strategies for operationalizing intersectionality in health, identify gaps in empirical literature, and provide evidence to strengthen care practices and public policies oriented toward equity and social justice in the field of Black women’s health

Do Varbrul ao R: uma reanálise das vogais médias pretônicas em Fortaleza-CE
No full textPropomos reanalisar os dados da tese As vogais médias pretônicas no falar popular de Fortaleza: uma abordagem variacionista (Araújo, 2007), que investigou a realização das vogais pretônicas sob a perspectiva da Sociolinguística Variacionista. O estudo original utilizou o VARBRUL para modelar o efeito de variáveis linguísticas e sociais sobre os processos de alteamento, abaixamento e manutenção das vogais. Nossa proposta é utilizar modelos de regressão logística de efeitos mistos no R, incorporando avanços metodológicos da análise estatística, como a inclusão de efeitos aleatórios para informante. Pretendemos verificar a robustez dos resultados originais frente a técnicas mais recentes, bem como discutir as implicações da modelagem mista para a interpretação de fenômenos variáveis. A reanálise busca contribuir para a promoção de práticas de reprodutibilidade na Linguística, oferecendo um exemplo de replicação com dados reais e disponibilização transparente do código e dos resultados

The charter defines a live, open, and time-stamped methodological archive for applied financial research, designed to document the formation, testing, revision, and stabilization of knowledge as it occurs, rather than through post-hoc reconstruction.
DFAS treats the research process itself—observations, assumptions, failures, revisions, and provisional closures—as a first-order scientific artifact. Methodological legitimacy is grounded in chronological traceability, non-retroactivity, internal coherence, and continuous public exposure to scrutiny, rather than reliance on institutional mediation alone.
This OSF project functions as the project-level research hub for DFAS-OAFS-C01.
The authoritative, immutable archival record of the charter is permanently hosted on Zenodo.
