    ParentText for Crisis: A Cluster Randomised Controlled Trial of Chatbot-Delivered Parenting Content For Caregivers in Eastern Europe

    This research is an evaluation of ParentText for Crisis among Ukrainians and Romanians. ParentText for Crisis is a rule-based chatbot to provide tips to strengthen parental mental health, improve parenting practices, and help parents support children in crisis settings. This cluster randomised controlled trial is conducted through a collaboration with the University of Oxford, Parenting for Lifelong Health (PLH), and World Vision International. ParentText for Crisis content is adapted from PLH and "Hope Groups", which is a mental health and parenting programme originally developed from PLH for war and crisis settings. Hope Groups, delivered either in-person or virtually via a facilitator, have demonstrated effectiveness in improving caregiver mental health and parenting practices in crisis settings in both Ukraine and Jordan. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of delivering this shortened, consolidated content via 10-11 chatbot-delivered lessons. The primary aim of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of ParentText for Crisis on: a.) Improving caregiver mental health, and b.) Improving positive parenting practices. Intervention effects will first be conducted separately by country, then data will be pooled and effects will be compared between countries

    This project proposes an integrative systems-biology hypothesis connecting embryonic developmental signaling networks with tumor plasticity mechanisms. Increasing evidence suggests that cancer cells partially reactivate pathways fundamental to embryogenesis, including WNT, Notch, TGF-β, PI3K/AKT, and metabolic programs associated with early development. In embryogenesis, these pathways function under strict spatial and temporal regulatory control, coordinating proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis, and metabolic balance. In contrast, tumors appear to represent a deregulated reactivation of these networks, lacking synchronized regulatory architecture. The project introduces the Regulatory Developmental Rebalancing Model (RDRM), which conceptualizes cancer as a vertically desynchronized system involving genetic activation, epigenetic instability, metabolic reprogramming, and microenvironmental adaptation. Rather than focusing exclusively on cytotoxic elimination, the framework explores the possibility of restoring regulatory synchronization to redirect tumor plasticity toward controlled differentiation and apoptotic responsiveness. The hypothesis is positioned within the fields of developmental oncology, cancer systems biology, and epigenetic reprogramming. It proposes experimentally testable strategies involving organoid models, controlled pathway modulation, and multi-layer transcriptomic analysis. This work does not claim therapeutic readiness but aims to provide a conceptual systems framework to guide future experimental investigation

    Mass Spectrometry Applications for GLP-1 and Dual Incretin Receptor Agonists: A Scoping Review Protocol

    This research is a comprehensive scoping review that maps the application of mass spectrometry—specifically liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) and high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS)—in the study of GLP-1 and dual incretin therapeutics, such as semaglutide and tirzepatide, published between 2008 and 2025. The primary purpose of this project is to synthesize a fragmented, multidisciplinary literature base to trace the evolution of these therapies from their initial pharmacokinetic testing to their widespread clinical use for type 2 diabetes and obesity. By utilizing a structured Population-Concept-Context (PCC) framework, the review maps methodological and conceptual trends across analytical chemistry, clinical pharmacology, and sociology. The study provides a detailed overview of various dimensions of GLP-1 research, including ultra-sensitive bioanalytical method development, the identification of structural "soft spots" vulnerable to enzymatic degradation, and the assessment of clinical safety and bioequivalence. Uniquely, the project also explores the broader societal implications of these drugs, analyzing the social media-driven "Ozempic phenomenon," shifting healthcare professional attitudes, and the impact of obesity bias. The expected outcomes of this review center on the identification of critical research gaps. The study highlights the urgent need for long-term safety assessments (such as weight rebound mechanisms and perioperative aspiration risks), the standardization of omics-based biomarkers, and the integration of HRMS technologies into evolving regulatory frameworks. Ultimately, this project establishes a foundational roadmap for future systematic reviews, directing upcoming research toward optimizing bioanalytical performance, confirming generic drug bioequivalence, and improving multidisciplinary clinical care. This protocol was developed a priori as part of the review’s methodological planning. It was registered retrospectively on OSF following completion of data charting to enhance transparency and reproducibility, consistent with PRISMA ScR Item 5
