    Hotel Billing Systems Billing is a financial accounting concept for business organizations such as hotel industry to bill their customers for services rendered and the billing report is utilized by management to know the income generated. Hotel billing record system is used to capture the bill record of customers to come up with a total amount to be paid by the customer. The information is saved to a database to enable management or users to retrieve saved billing records.The service rendered by hotel industry are associated with charges. It is therefore pertinent that accurate billing of the service rendered is properly documented. The application of the computer system to aid business transaction is very significant. This is because the computer system provides features such as storage, computation, easy retrieval of information etc. in addition; the computer system is very fast and accurate as against manual systems of recording and retrieving information. Virtually all organizations are now shifting from their manual systems to computerized systems as a result of the benefits it presents. Hotel industries are among the league of organization that can make use of the computer system and software solution to manage their billing records. The manual billing system is time consuming: It takes time to compute the bill of customers in the existing system due to the manual process being used.     The Contribution of Bifidobacterium to Colonic Digestion and Its Implications in Adult Enteral Nutrition: A Scoping Review

    The gastrointestinal (GI) tract performs four fundamental physiological functions: motility, secretion, digestion, and absorption. Among these, colonic digestion is uniquely dependent on the resident microbiota, which ferments dietary substrates that escape digestion in the small intestine. This microbially driven process yields short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) — particularly acetate, propionate, and butyrate — which serve as energy substrates for colonocytes, modulate immune responses, and contribute to intestinal barrier integrity. Bifidobacterium represents one of the most abundant and well-characterized commensal genera in the adult human colon. Its metabolic activities include the fermentation of non-digestible oligosaccharides and dietary fiber, the production of acetate and lactate, and the cross-feeding of metabolites to other beneficial microorganisms such as butyrate-producing bacteria. Beyond metabolic contributions, Bifidobacterium species are implicated in immune modulation, competitive exclusion of pathogens, and maintenance of mucosal barrier function. In adult patients receiving enteral nutrition (EN), disruption of the intestinal microbiota is common. Contributing factors include the underlying clinical condition, antibiotic exposure, altered gut transit, and the composition and route of enteral formula delivery. This dysbiosis has been associated with impaired enteral tolerance, increased intestinal permeability, systemic inflammatory responses, and elevated risk of infectious complications — particularly in critically ill, postoperative, and geriatric populations. Despite a growing body of literature on probiotic supplementation in EN, evidence specifically characterizing the role of Bifidobacterium — from its mechanistic contributions to colonic physiology through to clinical outcomes in adult EN — remains dispersed across diverse study designs and clinical settings. No comprehensive evidence map has been developed that bridges basic GI physiology with applied clinical nutrition in this specific context. This scoping review is therefore designed to systematically map the available evidence on Bifidobacterium's role in colonic digestion and its implications for adult enteral nutrition, identify key themes and research gaps, and provide a structured foundation for future primary research and clinical guidelines

    Preregistered Evaluation of the R.A.M. Framework in Human-AI Interaction: Cognitive Decision Study (v1.0)

    This preregistration describes Cognitive Decision Study (v1.0), an online, survey-based study designed to evaluate the R.A.M. framework (The Rhythmic Architecture of Mind) in human-AI interaction. The core objective is to test whether interaction structures aligned with R.A.M. principles are associated with improved cognitive clarity, reduced perceived friction, and more effective decision flow compared with non-aligned interaction patterns. The study collects anonymized participant responses through a structured web instrument hosted on the project website. The protocol includes vignette-based comparisons, Likert-scale psychometric items, attention checks, quality flags, and open-text responses. Data are captured in Google Sheets via a scripted pipeline and transformed into analysis-ready variables through predefined scoring rules, including reverse scoring where applicable and transparent quality filtering (attention failure, low-effort text, and straightlining indicators). Primary outcomes include: mean cognitive friction score, mean framework-alignment subscale scores (e.g., mental space, decision flow, pattern mapping, rhythm-aligned action), directional differences between interaction conditions in clarity, cognitive load/heaviness, and perceived fit, quality-pass vs. total response indicators. Expected outcomes are directional and theory-driven rather than confirmatory of a guaranteed effect: responses aligned with R.A.M.- consistent interaction structure are expected to show lower friction and better clarity/fit profiles at aggregate level. This preregistration fixes the study intent, operationalization, and analysis logic before full launch, supporting transparency, reproducibility, and stronger inferential credibility for later reporting.     Factors That Influence the Sustainability of Virtual Communities of Practice Among Healthcare Professionals: A scoping review

    This scoping review examines factors influencing the sustainability of Virtual Communities of Practice (VCoPs) among healthcare professionals, covering literature from 2020 to 2026. Following JBI methodology and reported using PRISMA-ScR, it asks: What factors influence the sustainability of VCoPs among healthcare professionals? Eight peer-reviewed databases will be searched (MEDLINE, CINAHL, Embase, Scopus, Web of Science, PsycINFO, ERIC, Cochrane Library). Studies of any design involving healthcare professionals in virtual CoP settings are eligible. Two independent reviewers will screen and extract data, with findings synthesized narratively across five levels — individual, community, organizational, technological, and contextual — guided by Wenger's CoP theory.
