    Sustainable tourism creation as core economy facing the industrial revolution challenges: Kutuh Village, Ubud Bali

    This study at examining sustainable tourism as a core economy regarding the industrial revolution challenges. The technology and information advanced were very fast due to all life components to experience a shift for the values and culture of a society undergoing change by implementing modernization in all fields changes i.e., economic, social culture, and dynamic lifestyles. The study was intended to know, how to maintain the sustainable tourism creation as a core economy in Kutuh village at Ubud Bali. In order to find out and describe sustainable tourism as the core economy. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, using proportional sampling technique consisting of the Villa manager and Guest house as well as the people who work in the tourism sector. The sustainable tourism creation was an effort by the government and society to create the widest possible employment opportunities for the future generations so that Bali’s Domestic Product Gross was increasing due to the intense industrial revolution. The Industrial Revolution 4.0 was the latest automation and data exchange trends in factory technology. The term included cyber-physical systems, internet for everything, cloud computing, and cognitive computing. The Core Economy was an acronym for the Center of Reform on Economics

The phrase Maja Labo Dahu is a symbol that is pronounced with three words that always the application of both can’t be separated and separated from each other because mutually give influence to the formation of positive attitude. By that is also called as a philosophical phrase which contains broad meaning can serve as guidelines and life orientation. The purpose of this research is to study the meaning of Maja Labo Dahu's philosophy of Bima has a logical meaning to character education in school. To achieve this goal the authors use the qualitative design and choose the content analysis approach. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that: a verse contains definitions, purposes, functions, and principles of guidance and verses that contain the value of personal and social guidance

    Implementation of communication ethics in building social harmony

    This research is intended to study the implementation of communication ethics in building social harmony at Banjar (Balinese community) Dharma Santhi, Labuapi Subdistrict, West Lombok Regency. This research is designed in the form of descriptive qualitative research by using case study model on social phenomenon of religion in that location. With regard to it in order to realize a harmonious religious social life one of the supporting factors is the ethics that needs to be applied in communicating, both interpersonal communication and group communication in activities related to the implementation of Hinduism. The implementation of communication ethics used as the basis of religious social life in Banjar Dharma Santhi relates to the application of the teaching of tri kaya parisudha (three things to be sanctified), especially the aspect of wacika parisudha (talking good and true). Application of communication ethics based on the teachings of Hinduism can realize a good communication, especially related to the implementation of religious life conducted by the people who are in Banjar Dharma Santhi. Communication in accordance with the teachings of wicika parisudha implemented by Hindus in the location can realize social relationships with fellow Hindus in religious ritual activities. The application of wacika parisudha teachings can also be a basis for communicating with the general public to realize harmony in religious social life

    Although the conditions of the energy scenario have changed in recent years with the introduction of renewable sources, even the international environmental problem continues to be unknown as the more industrialized countries, continue to emit a large number of elements into the atmosphere that together with the processes natural hazards linked to volcanic eruptions, fires between some aspects that today are accelerating the melting of ice from the polar ice caps, other problems associated with the economy are looming; Therefore, it is necessary to evolve from an industry that only produces and stimulates the use of electricity generated based on fossil fuel consumption, towards a diverse, renewable and sustainable energy industry, supported by the use of renewable resources available territorially, which stimulates specific energy consumption and adjusted to the needs and demands of material and environmental quality, under appropriate criteria and parameters of austerity in consumption. The need for the country to undertake the transition to a new national energy base is exposed, which implies the extensive penetration of all forms of use of renewable sources, as the only way to achieve sustainability under the conditions of current technological development, as well as embark on the shortest path towards energy independence and technological sustainability, and it is necessary to reorient the national energy policy, focused on the postulates and principles of sustainable energy development, for which it is necessary to enact a legal rule that explicitly, address protection over the penetration of technologies that take advantage of renewable sources in the energy system

    The research was conducted to find out why Buddhist ethics important for the economic system, to know the ethics according to Buddhism and the benefits of Buddhist ethics in the global era of the economic system. The data of the research was collected to identify the texts from the Scriptures of the Tipitaka/Tripitaka related to the main problem. All collected data were analyzed and dissected using the theory included structural, hermeneutic, and paticcasamuppada functionalism. The theories were used to compile the role of the Buddhist ethics in the economic system, the hope was through the role and implementation of the Buddhist ethics in the future will be a living condition for being happy and welfare. Regarding the household (micro) economic system, the Buddhist ethics were used to create a happy and prosperous household life. Thus, the householders were free from poverty with the right livelihood, to use wealth properly, and to develop spiritual virtues. Related to the government/state (macro) economy, the Buddhist ethics play an important role in creating happiness to live together in the nation and state. The Buddhist ethics in the economic system offered a middle way system between capitalism and socialism. The Buddhist ethics contributed greatly related to the development of the economic system. It was very relevant in dealing with the current situation, especially, in human character building, developing tolerance, and service culture, social independence building, building, and work ethic enhancing, building an openness spirit, motivation to do better, as an accommodative step facing of the free competition

    The stylistic study towards wasiat renungan masa pengalaman baru text by Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Majid was motivated by the fact that so far the interpretation of the text is not intact, namely only text interpreting to cohesion meaning. The interpretation of literary works must look at the meaning that arises due to foregrounding and cohesion of foregrounding. Stylistic studies in literature see how the language elements were used to revealing messages in literary works. Exploration, explanation, and interpretation of this text were important and strategic, due to the text was guided by hundreds of thousands of their follower who were members of Nahdlatul Wathan Organization. The stylistic study on Leech approach to the text suggests that the meanings contained in each stanza in the text not only contain cohesion but also contain many foregrounding, and cohesion of foregrounding meanings

    Multimedia use and learning styles on learning achievement in social studies

    The research aimed to find out the effect of the use of multimedia and the students learning styles on the students’ achievement in social studies. The data were collected through surveys conducted at SMP Negeri 13 Mataram (public junior high school) for three months. The research involved 108 participants, systematically selected from the target population of 240 students. The data were collected through learning achievement test and then statistically analyzed using ANOVA. Research reveals that the use of multimedia effectively improved students’ learning achievement in both visual and auditory learning styles. On the other hand, the use of conventional media did not show any significant effect on the students’ achievement in both visual and auditory learning styles. The research findings suggest the teachers pay more attention to the use of multimedia in their classroom and take into account the students’ learning styles

    In order to improve access to financial services, especially banking, the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK) has issued a regulation on the  Laku Pandai Program (Layanan Keuangan Tanpa Kantor Dalam Rangka Keuangan Inklusif) in July 2014. The program engages the private sector as a bank agent representing banks in reaching banking services for the lower community in remote areas. The main purpose of this policy is how to improve the low financial inclusiveness of Indonesian society, especially those with categories still unbanked. Bali was an area in Indonesia that require an increase in financial services. The banks have been implementing Laku Pandai program since the last few years. Using purposive sampling method of 100 respondents selected from two locations Denpasar and Tabanan, the study testing the hypothesis to answer the problems that there was a positive effect of customer benefits, consumer education, and customer trust in implementing Laku Pandai with customer trust as mediating variable. Using the statistic test tool SEM PLS, result from the data test of this study was expected to answer the hypothesis and solve the problem facing in Bali to increase use of agent bank. The result of the statistical data test proved that the research concept model has been fit. The result of the analysis indicated that the customer benefit, education, and customer trust have a positive effect, directly and indirectly, the use of agent bank and trust factor mediate significance partially. The loading factors figures and the path coefficient between the variables indicated that there was potential to increase use of agent’s bank. It was defined that the intensity of using agents which was still low can be increased

Smart companies make use of "cookies," records of Web site users that are stored in a personal browser, are smart target marketing users. Companies must translate sales data carefully so as not to draw wrong conclusions. In addition to saving mail expenses, this data manipulation can often achieve a double-digit response rate. The company stores this data (data warehousing) and makes it easily accessible to decision makers. Furthermore, by employing analysis that has expertise in complex statistical methods, companies can "dig" data (data mining) and gather new knowledge about neglected customer segments, and other useful information. The internal data system provides results data, but the marketing intelligence system provides current data (happenings). Marketing intelligence system (marketing intelligence system) is a collection of procedures and resources used by managers to obtain daily information about various developments in the marketing environment. The marketing manager collects marketing intelligence by reading books, newspapers, and trade publications, talking with customers, suppliers, and distributors; observe "social media" on the internet through online discussion groups, e-mail lists, and blogs and meet with other company managers. In this context, social media plays an important role for every effort to connect with digital customers spread across the world indefinitely

    With globalization, it has become evident that there are still differences in women's participation in political development, despite the process of change, equality and equity implemented for several years, the greater participation of men in relation to the woman, have been excluded in some spaces within society for a long time. The political participation of women continues to be a great challenge in Ecuador's contemporary society. The processes carried out have not achieved the inclusion of women in the issues of political representation.  As a whole, the causes may be ignorance, omission, and of course this machismo that predominate even on the subject; without leaving of side the little processes of investigation on the subject, that are sporadic, and more in the subject of the considered policy only for the masculine gender. The current challenge is the empowerment, education, preparation and training of both men and women on the issue of equality, inclusion and social participation of all in the different mutual areas with emphasis on the political, economic and social aspects of development and well-being of people, guaranteed in the Constitution of Ecuador and the objectives of Good Living
