    Architecture various forms of sanggah kemulan taksu in Denpasar

    The purpose of this study was to answer the phenomenon of doubt about the existence of the sanggah kemulan taksu regarding various forms of architecture, representative forms, and public perceptions, especially in the city of Denpasar. The Bali uniqueness was in its culture. One of them was traditional Balinese architecture which in this case is represented by sanggah kemulan taksu architecture, which was classified as parahyangan architecture with special appearance, function, and structure. Its existence since the XI century was the year 1001 AD (Çaka 923) and was a fact (relics of material/artifact; social life/sociofact; and concerns about belief/mentifact) which was a living monument. The method used was phenomenology, supported by the concepts and theories of phenomenology, philosophy, religion and religion, architecture, symbols, and perception. The sources and objects of research observations were determined purposively by conducting structured interviews. From the requirements of the resource persons there are 35 object sources and of the 35 objects considered sufficient to be represented by 20-50 percent.     Bima regional government institutional capabilities in disaster management

    Institutional capability becomes a measure of understanding and ability of local governments in disaster management efforts. This study aims to analyze and describe the institutional capabilities of the Bima District Government in disaster management. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that disaster management policies have not become a priority for Regional Government policies.  Financial resources are still minimal where the budget ceiling in regional disaster management has not met the 1 percent figure, even though according to the law it requires at least 1 percent of the APBD, causing ineffective institutional integration and coordination, thus collective efforts to achieve disaster management objectives are also not maximal. The low disaster resilience index in Bima Regency is still at level 3 based on the indicator H Yogo Frameworks for Actions (HFA). It explains that the local Government of Kabupaten Bima has implemented efforts to reduce disaster risk, but with achievements that are still sporadic due to the absence of institutional commitment and systematic policies and weak budgetary support

    Communication strategy in introducing omed-omedan tradition, Sesetan Village, Bali: Descriptive study on Truna-Truni Banjar Kaja

    Behind the uniqueness of the Omed-omedan tradition, it is not uncommon for some people to ridicule or even discriminate against the traditions of the Banjar Kaja. This is because it is considered not following generally accepted norms, especially Eastern culture. Due to the conditions that occur in the field related to the Omed-omedan tradition which is widely misinterpreted, a communication strategy is needed to implement the program used to introduce the Omed-omedan tradition. This research using qualitative descriptive methods and use theory by Cutlip and Center about Communication Planning. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results obtained in this study are 1) Fact-Finding Stage which is found through understanding the background of the Omed-omedan tradition. 2) The planning stage makes a communication plan such as who will be the communicator, what messages are conveyed, the media used, set targets, and compile program planning. 3) The Communication Action Phase is carried out by implementing the Sesetan Heritage Sesetan Festival. 4) The Evaluation Phase is only an internal evaluation that is carried out routinely when the Sesetan Heritage Sesetan Festival ends

    Acculturation of culture between the Sasak ethnic and Balinese ethnic in the art of Gendang Beleq in Lombok

    This study aims to conduct a study of cultural acculturation in the art of Gendang Beleq as a result of the traditional art music collaboration between Balinese ethnic and Sasak ethnic in Lombok. This research was designed in the type of qualitative research using a case study model. The results of this study obtained three important findings. First, the form of cultural acculturation in the art of Gendang Beleq is a combination of two elements of musical arts, namely Balinese art and Sasak art. In its development, the art of Gendang Beleq was influenced by Balinese music which began with cultural acculturation between Balinese ethnic and Sasakethnic in Lombok. This influence can be seen in the form of composition, as well as musical elements of Balinese karawitan which are processed or worked on into the Gendang Beleq art, making this art very attractive. The factors that cause the acculturation of Balinese audio musical in the Gendang Beleq art because of the emergence of the idea of ??combining two musical art identities can produce added value to cultural arts work of artistic creativity

    Overcoming local human resources barriers in tourism industry : Case study on West Nusa Tenggara Indonesia

    Tourism industry in Indonesia is hindered by barriers in its development. There are internal barriers (denial from immigrant, old tradition) and also external barriers (new skill, Covid-19 pandemic) that affect its governance. All of them stem from human resources problems that should be overcome immediately. Using funding from the Ministry of Tourism, this research aims to address said barriers and overcome human resources problems in the tourism industry, especially in Nusa Tenggara Barat. The researchers who are based in Tourism Polytechnic Lombok seek the answers from vocational higher education overview. The answers are gathered by summarizing from the Focus Group Discussion process and also benchmarking with another tourism polytechnic in Indonesia. The results are as follows: (1) NTB, as a unique combination of the tourism industry, has big potential and upcoming modern destination (Mandalika) which should become better in the future, (2) Internal barriers factor can be overcome by optimizing local human resources, (3) In problem-solving of external barrier factor, Tourism Polytechnic should also provide IT skills to support e-tourism implementation, and (4) Human resources problem in the tourism industry has a root cause in early vocational higher education which holds important factors in overcoming the problems
