Bone tumor wide excision due to giant cell tumor of proximal humerus: A case report
Introduction: Giant Cell Tumors are benign, aggressive tumors typically found in the epiphysis of long bones. It has a potential for aggressive behaviour and the capacity to metastasize. the most common symptom of a giant cell tumor is a pain in the area of the tumor. The patient may also have pain with the movement of the nearby joint. Case: We reported an 18-year-old boy with an extensive giant-cell tumor of proximal humerus. Radiograph show a primary malignant bone tumour proximal humerus dextra with soft tissue swelling. There was a lytic lesion, with wide zone transition on proximal humerus dextra, and a trabeculated bone outside the normal lesion was treated by segmental resection and shoulder reconstruction. A prosthesis was used to reconstruct the shoulder joint, the rotator cuff was reattached to the bone after making a semicircular trough. Discussion: There are several therapy options for the patient, the non-operative and operative therapy. The non-operative way such as radiation therapy, medication therapy, and tumor embolization. The operative way such as extensive, complete resection, and amputation. Conclusion: Wide excision is suitable for this patient, we can save normal tissue and do some shoulder reconstruction
The impact of premarital sexual behavior on adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic is a disease that has spread all over the world. Premarital sexual behavior is behavior that is driven by sexual desire with the opposite sex or with the same sex. Talking about sexuality and reproductive health is still a taboo subject for teenagers, so children will seek it from various sources, one of which is social media that not all of information can be accounted for. This study aims to collect scientific evidence on the impact of premarital sexual behavior on adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is a scoping review. Articles were acquired from three databases, namely Pubmed, Science Direct, and Goggle Scholar. Results: After reviewing 11 articles using the scoping review, it resulted a theme of the impact of premarital sexual behavior on adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic
Strategies for handling dysmenorrhea in adolescents
Background of the problem: Dysmenorrhea has been identified as a public health problem because of its high prevalence. Dysmenorrhea is a condition that affects various aspects of a woman's life. Although this condition occurs in many women, it is often underestimated and underdiagnosed, and therefore untreated. Early diagnosis of dysmenorrhea is very important. Therefore, women who experience menstrual pain and other accompanying symptoms during menstruation should be referred to an experienced gynecologist for differential diagnosis. Destination: The scoping review was conducted to map the available evidence on the dysmenorrhea treatment strategies used by adolescents to cope with their dysmenorrhea. Method: The database used by Pubmed, Ebscho, Sience Direct and gray literature, namely Google Scholar with inclusion criteria, original articles, published above in 2017 published in English, articles discussing strategies for dealing with dysmenorrhea in adolescents, free full text and open access articles. Exclusion criteria for review articles, opinion articles, organizational documents/guidelines. The eligibility of articles was assessed using the Joanna Briggs Institute tools (JBI), and the Critical Appraisal Program (CSAP). Results: The worldwide prevalence of dysmenorrhea ranges between 50% and 90%. A total of eleven studies said most of the women used pharmacological methods to relieve menstrual pain.
Erocive gastritis with bipolar affective disorder current episode severe depression with psychotic symptoms with history of sexual violence in adolescent
Depression is a mental health disorder characterized by feelings of sadness, unhappiness, hopelessness, and even guilt. Erosive gastritis is an erosion of the gastric mucosa caused by damage to the mucosal barrier that is superficial but does not penetrate the muscularis mucosal layer. The patient is a 17 year old girl. Experiencing sad behavior changes, lack of interest, loss of joy, and suicide attempts. In addition, the patient was vomiting blood, and was examined by a pediatric gastroenterohepatologist. The supporting examination that was carried out, namely endoscopy, showed that the patient had erosive gastritis. The patient was consulted to the psychiatry department because there was a history of psychiatric treatment due to a history of depression. The treatment provided includes psychoeducation, administration of antipsychotic drugs quetiapine and valproic acid, as well as drugs for erosive gastritis including Sucralfate and Omeprazole. Episodes of major depression with psychotic symptoms can cause erosive gastritis in adolescents. Stress affects physiological effects, via the HPA-axis pathway

Monitoring combination of intermittent auscultation and palpation of contractions on oxygen saturation of newborns
Babies who have problems and oxygen saturation is one of the things that must be maintained in newborns when low oxygen saturation causes hemodynamic disorders in infants that can cause congenital heart defects. This study aims to determine the differences in the results of the oxygen saturation test (SpO2) in newborns whose mothers were monitored using the combination method of intermittent auscultation and palpation of contractions with mothers who used cardiotocography and also to see the difference in the average SpO2 of normal and SC infants. The research method was observational with a cross sectional approach on 36 newborns in 2 groups, namely 18 whose mothers were monitored by the combination method and 18 were monitored by cardiotocography. BBL SpO2 examination using a pulse oximeter. The average SpO2 of BBL monitored using a combination and cardiotocography did not differ (P = 0.887 > 0.05). Conclusion: There is no difference in the results of the examination of oxygen saturation (SpO2) BBL in the results of monitoring the combination of intermittent auscultation and palpation to CTG monitoring.
Clinical and imaging findings of klippel-trenaunay syndrome: A case report
Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome (KTS) is characterized by the classic triad of capillary malformations manifesting as a "port-wine stain", venous varicosities, and bone and/or soft tissue hypertrophy. Imaging could help to diagnose and evaluation of KTS. Case Presentation: We report a 12-year-old with progressive enlargement of the right lower limb with geographic stain and venous varicosities. The patient also underwent MRI and angiography, which revealed multiple nidus with multiple feeding arteries. Conclusion: Klippel-Trenaunay Syndrome is a rare condtion. MRI and Arteriography could help diagnose KTS for confirmation, monitoring progression, or identification of complications
The characteristics of neonatal outcomes of HIV-infected mothers with the use of antiretrovirals (ARVS)
Objective: The purpose of the scoping review is to find out the characteristics of neonatal outcomes of HIV-infected mothers with antiretroviral use. Design: Writing a scoping review following the writing rules of PRISMA ScR. Method: The results of the review show that there are 10 articles obtained from the search process through the Proquest, Pubmed, Science Direct, and Google Scholar databases. As well as following the criteria for inclusion and exclusion. Results: This review raises the theme of outcomes from HIV pregnant women with antiretroviral use before conception and after conception. The administration of ARVs in pregnancy causes various kinds of neonatal outcomes, namely babies born normally, babies with lightweight, babies born prematurely, abortions, IUFD and babies infected with HIV. It was concluded that there is an impact of giving ARVs to pregnant women, but prevention of vertical transmission by taking ARVs immediately and routinely is better done to reduce the incidence of HIV transmission. Conclusion: Factors causing babies born with BBLR, premature, IUFD, and abortion are not necessarily due to factors of ARV use in pregnant women.
Expression malondialdehyde (MDA) of brain after injury with the extract of kencur (Kaempferia Galanga L): Experimental study wistar rats
Neurological damage in brain injury occurs due to secondary brain injury. Kencur extract has antioxidant potential with total phenolic and flavonoid content including luteolin apigenin and is expected to reduce MDA expression to prevent secondary injury. This study is an experimental laboratory. The treatment of all samples was carried out simultaneously using a post-test-only control group design. Based on the ANOVA test, the significance value of the Kencur extract treatment group was 0.000 (p<0.05) indicating that there was a difference in MDA expression in brain-injured rats without kencur extract with brain-injured rats and given kencur extract. In the 24-hour and 48-hour time groups, a significance value of 0.488 (p> 0.05) showed no significant difference in MDA expression. Then the Kencur extract treatment group with a time group of 0.117 (p> 0.05) showed no significant difference in MDA expression. There was a significant difference in the expression of MDA in brain-injured rats without kencur extract with brain-injured rats and given kencur extract. There were no significant differences in the MDA expression in the 24-hour and 48-hour time groups and the Kencur extract treatment group and the 24-hour and 48-hour time groups
