The condition of the oral cavity in patients who have had a viral infection COVID-19
Coronavirus COVID-19 is the cause of severe respiratory pathology and is a dangerous disease, proceeding in various clinical forms with varying degrees severity. This scientific paper presents a literature review of the latest collected data on the course of the novel coronavirus infection COVID-19 and its manifestations in the oral cavity during illness and after convalescence. The transmission routes of the disease and the main symptoms are also described. All healthcare systems in the world have been tasked with prompt diagnosis of coronavirus infection, specialized medical care and rehabilitation. In COVID 19 (SARS-CoV-2), changes in OOM are not the primary cause, but are manifested as a result of drug treatment and disease progression, despite the fact that the oral cavity is one of the sources of entry gate for infection
Influence of exposure to children’s movies on television on theory-of- mind acquisition in preschoolers
Recently cases of harness which are conducted by children indicated that decrease capability of children understanding against other's mental states Children’s ability to grasp other’s mental states (theory of mind) is important in the context of socialization. Previous research has not investigated the duration in measuring the exposure of narrative media (children's movies on television), which is one of the impacts on the acquisition of ToM. The movie on television represents the relations between children and their mental state. This study aims to investigate the influence of exposure to children’s movies on television towards children's ToM acquisition among preschoolers. ToM was assessed using a ToM scale by Wellman and Liu, and exposure to children’s movies on television was measured with a questionnaire. The study has been conducted on 85 preschoolers ages 3–5 years old/36-71 months ((M = 4.88 SD = 0,683), with the involvement of their parents to fill the questionnaires. The result of this study shows that exposure to children's movies on television does not significantly influence children’s ToM. The strong relations between the two are considered false belief (FB) since the result of the study shows that
The effect of family education on the fulfillment of family health tasks in handling case of hypertension post earthquake in Sigi regency
The role of a good family is indispensable in handling cases of hypertension, direct involvement of family members is a form of support so that hypertension care management can run well. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of family education on the fulfillment of family health tasks in handling hypertension cases after the earthquake in Sigi Regency. This research was conducted from December 2018 to March 2019 using an analytical survey pre and post-test design with a sample of 30 respondents from families with hypertension. Sampling using non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling approach. The data were then analyzed using the McNenmar test. There is a significant difference between blood pressure before education and after family education was conducted (? value = 0.001), while at the level of family knowledge, there was a significant difference before and after family education was carried out on the fulfillment of family health tasks in handling hypertension cases after the earthquake in Sigi district. There is an effect of family education on reducing blood pressure in patients with hypertension after the earthquake that occurred in Sigi Regency
Android-based application of women's reproductive health to parent knowledge as a learning media
This study aimed to determine the effect of this application usage on parental knowledge improvement, and the differences in knowledge based on parents' education and occupation background using this application. This research was carried out in the working area of ??the Wolio Health Center, Baubau City, during March - April 2021, by a combination of Research and Development (R&D) and Quasi-experimental methods with one group pretest - posttest design. About 95 parents who have adolescent daughters (aged 10-20 years) were involved. The intervention was given on the same day by first being given a pretest and then being given an intervention using the KESPRO PEDIA educational application for ±30 minutes, continued by a posttest. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. This study indicated that the use of android-based women's reproductive health applications could increase parental knowledge by 89.5% (P<0.01). There was an increase in parental knowledge about women's reproductive health at every level of education, especially high school/vocational education, by 51.6% (P<0.01). Meanwhile, it also increased the parental knowledge about women's reproductive health at each occupational status, dominated by parents who did not work, by 68.4% (P<0.01)
Effectiveness of Averrhoa bilimbi leaf extract on spermatogenic cells of mice (Mus Musculus L.) hyperglycemia
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving Averrhoa bilimbi leaf extract on sperm quality of diabetic mice. This research is a pure experimental (true experimental) with a post-test-only control group design approach. This research was conducted by giving Averrhoa bilimbi leaf extract as a treatment for 42 days in male mice. Sperm quality parameters observed included viability, abnormalities, motility in sperm. In all variables, the results of the data showing a normal distribution with a p-value > 0.05 were then carried out with a parametric test using one-way ANOVA. Averrhoa bilimbi leaf extract can increase the number of spermatogenic cells in male mice with hyperglycemia
Survival of white blood cells of mice (Mus musculus L) on interval AD with CD post gamma radiation Co-60
One of the phenomena of the low-dose radiation effect is the radio adaptation response which is an important part of the response of molecules, cells, and body tissues to ionizing radiation. The phenomenon of radio adaptation response is a response that occurs when changes in gene expression can be induced by exposure to low doses of radiation (<0.5 Gy). Changes in the expression of this gene under certain circumstances serve to protect cells against the effects caused by subsequent exposure to higher doses of radiation, so this situation is known as an adaptive response or radio adaptation response. Cells can respond to very low doses of radiation with some changes in gene expression. Beginning with the administration of radiation to cells with a very low dose, known as the adaptation dose (AD), and then in a short period being given a larger dose of radiation, known as the challenge dose (CD), there was a decrease in the number of induced chromosome aberrations when compared to cells that were not irradiated at an adapted dose. The purpose of this study was to obtain a radiotherapy method that could show a reduction in the patient's dose
Adaptation capabilities of functional systems of the body of adolescents with vegetative dystonia syndrome
The publication discusses the mechanisms of adaptation to physical activity in adolescents with autonomic dystonia syndrome, depending on gender and the presence of a history of perinatal pathology of the central nervous system. Analysis of the adaptive capabilities of the functional systems of the body of adolescents with autonomic dystonia syndrome and adolescents in the Youth Center of the city of Tashkent in dynamics for the period 2018-2020 revealed the tension of the adaptive capabilities of the heart rate regulation systems in the groups of examined adolescents with PPNS, the most pronounced in adolescent girls with PPNS
Hirudotherapy as an effective method for treatment of migraine - a disease of unknown etiology
This scientific work contains the results of a study conducted in patients with migraines, the effectiveness of hirudotherapy in people with headaches, in particular with migraines. The features of the manifestation of migraine from other diseases, as well as the economic costs associated with migraine, are described. The objective to study the effectiveness of hirudotherapy for migraines. The materials of our study were patients who received hirudotherapy on an outpatient basis. The patients' age ranged from 20 to 60 years, but the main contingent was made up of women aged 30-45 years. In a significant number of patients who received hirudotherapy, an improvement in the clinical picture was noted, while the therapeutic effect was felt after the first session. As the results of the study showed, treatment with leeches restores microcirculation and local immunity, correcting some pathological processes (microcirculation disturbance, hypoxia, etc.)
