How to avoid being re-hospitalized for patients with COVID-19
Aim: How to avoid being re-hospitalized for patients with 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) were studied. Method: A total of 260 patients diagnosed as COVID-19 were studied with serial follow-up chest chest Computed Tomography (CT) scans and Reverse-Transcriptase–Polymerase-Chain-Reaction (RT-PCR). Result: Positive rates of chest CT imaging were 96.99% (252/260). Positive rates of RT-PCR were 87.70% for the first time, 92.30% for two times and 100% for three times. Multiple RT-PCR assay tests resulted in a high positive rate of RT-PCR. Combination of chest CT scans, RT-PCR lead to positive rate of 100% even for the first testing, which is conducive to COVID-19 diagnosis Two patients with COVID-19 were discharged from hospital with false-negative results of RT-PCR using the oropharyngeal swab. There was a significant progression on CT images as well as an increase in infective markers during their second admission to hospital, which indicated the progressing inflammation. Patients with complete recovery were selected. Symptoms were relieved; dissipation almost completely disappeared on CT image; infective markers significantly decreased to normal levels, which indicated that the inflammation was not progressing. Lymphocyte (LYM) percent increase to normal level. Conclusion: Serial follow-up chest CT scans are quite important for confirming the patients with COVID-19 who resulted negative for RT-PCR of COVID-19 nucleic acid. A combination of the RT-PCR test for COVID-19 nucleic acid and other detective methods such as CT imaging are conducive to diagnosis. The roadmap how to avoid being re-hospitalized for patients with COVID-19 was provided. Application of photovoltaic technology in the use of solar energy
Solar heating and cooling, concentrating solar power and photovoltaic are three solar technologies which harness solar energy. Photovoltaic Technology (PV) is directly converting sunlight into electricity and it is very convenient to use. In addition, these devices are simple in design and easy to handle. The efficiency of energy production this way is great. In order to obtain constant/continuous energy for consumption, the PV system can be a part of the so-called hybrid system. In the hybrid system, the PV system is combined with other renewable or non-renewable energy sources. However, there are certain problems in the use of solar energy, such as: cost, maintenance of the entire system and the impact of maintenance on the ecosystem, as well as the development of consumer awareness. Today, the world is forced to solve these problems in order to be able to save the planet from further deterioration of the ecosystem.</p
The influence of COVID-19 restrictions on bladder and bowel symptoms: A Case Report
Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has undoubtedly affected millions around the globe. The infection and the restrictions applied to eradicate it carry with them physical and mental consequences related to stress and change of daily habits.In our case report, we describe the effect of COVID-19 lockdowns on urinary and bowel symptoms, as well as the mental health.Our patient was followed during a period of three lockdowns. Urinary and bowel symptoms as well as mental health were reported by a pelvic floor physiotherapist, using validated questionnaires, throughout lockdown and non-lockdown periods. Results: Our results show that during lockdown periods, there is a transient decrease in patient’s quality of life, which improved in the non-lockdown periods.Conclusion: COVID-19 restrictions alter patient’s physical and mental health, indirectly related to the viral infection. Many patients may suffer from worsening urinary, bowel and mental symptoms that may need closer surveillance during lockdown periods. Healthcare workers should emphasize the importance of keeping a routine during lockdown periods and preventive measures should be taken in the form of home exercises instructions and phone follow up.</p
Prevalence of musculoskeletal disorder in electricity lineman in city Faisalabad, Pakistan
Objectives: The objective of this research is to discover the trends of work-related musculoskeletal disorders that are prevalent in the linemen population, as well as the occupational activities that put linemen at risk of developing WRMDs.Methodology: The study included 50 male linemen employed in FASCO, who performed various field tasks in a Faisalabad city Pakistan. Age group included in the study between 20 to 40 years. Chi square test was applied to check association between daily life and incidence of symptoms.Results: There is no significance associations were founded between age and tasks of linemen with p-value 0.431. There is significance association was founded between comfort and their tasks with p-value 0.002. There is significance association was founded between body region and their tasks with p-value 0.001. Conclusion: MSDs in body areas other than the back were found in our investigation, particularly in the shoulders and knees. We also identified high-risk tasks that would require more investigation and management. </p

This question may seem to some to be secondary, even insignificant, but the considerable number of studies on this issue confirm that is a public health problem that should not be overlooked. Indeed, noise is a ubiquitous nuisance and arterial hypertension a disease that endangers peoples’ lives. </p
Plant Ecophysiolomics to face the challenges of global change
As consequence of global change, there has been an intensification of syndromes such as land desertification in several regions of the world. Plant functioning is threatened by this scenario. Given its importance for sustaining mostly all terrestrial life, a renewed interest has risen in studying the effects of global change over plant functioning, particularly for its role in ecosystem energy fluxes, and as the basis for food, fiber, biofuels and other products used by humans. This mini review attempts to draw attention on the benefits of study the effects of global change over plant functioning under a comprehensive approach. Ecophysiolomics, the merge of Plant Physiology, Ecophysiology and Omics, is an emerging field helping to elucidate the mechanisms, from molecular to population and community levels, underlying plant growth and development, against the effects of global change. By integrating and merging different approaches such as Ecophysiolomics, we will maximize not only our understanding of plant-to-ecosystem resilience, but also, the support and advice for policy makers and governments to better manage the threats and challenges of global change.</p
Verification of the Efficacy of New Insecticide, Diesel (Lufenuron+Emamectin Benzoate) against Onion Thrips (Thrips Tabaci Lindeman) in Bale, south-eastern Ethiopia
Onion (Allium cepa) is popularly called as “Queen of Kitchen” as it is used as food, salad, spice, condiment and in medicine. Currently, the production is practiced all over the round for its daily uses in food and source of income and for commercial purposes starting from the introduction in the country as planting material from Sudan. However, its productivity is constrained by both biotic and abiotic factors of production. Thrips, thrips tabaci Lindeman (Thysanoptera: Thripidae) is the most limiting factor and causes significant yield loses among biotic factors. In this study, the efficacy of the new insecticide (Diesel (Lufenuron+Emamectin benzoate) was tested with standard check (CORSA (Profenofos 40% + Cypermethrin 4%EC) and unsprayed check included for comparison in three location (Sinana on station, Goba and Aloshe) using a plot size of 10m by 10m for each treatment. Accordingly, the result found that, the new insecticide was effective as of the standard check in controlling the infestation of thrips and reducing the yield losses which contributes in increasing both production and productivity of onion. Therefore, Diesel (Lufenuron+Emamectin benzoate) insecticide can be registered and used as management option for control of onion thrips in Ethiopia. </p
Severe immune thrombocytopenic purple in children critical of SARS-CoV-2: Case report
Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP) is caused by production of platelet autoantibody. Then ITP can be caused by various viral infections, including Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Hepatitis C Virus (HCV), cytomegalovirus, herpes simplex virus, Zika virus and others [1]. Episodes of ITP can range from mild to life-threatening.We reported a pediatric patient with positive molecular test to SARS-CoV-2 associated with severe thrombocytopenia, with active bleeding, not meeting criteria for PIMS, refractory to conventional treatment with immunoglobulin and corticoids for Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura. The purpose of reporting the case is to provide the hematological manifestations of the new SARS-CoV-2 virus. Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, in our patient the possible cause is the new coronavirus.</p
Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic: Outbreak, current scenario and impact on human physiology in Pakistan
Coronavirus that is also known as COVID-19 disease is produced by SARSCoV-2. This causative agent is highly contagious and can cause potentially fatal pneumonia worldwide with serious public health concerns. In the beginning among infected individuals, most of them were those who were mainly shown to the wet animal market in a big city of China known as Wuhan. So, it was suggested that this was almost certainly the zoonotic source of COVID-19illness. The transitional source of origin and their mode of transmission to humans were not known obviously. Conversely, from human to human rapidly transformation have been confirmed generally. Currently, there is no availability of FDA approved clinically antiviral drugs and/or vaccines to be used against the COVID-19. Afterward, SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV, the occurrence of SARS-CoV-2 has been manifested as the third sketch of an enormously pathogenic coronavirus into human population globally. In this review, we provide a brief overview of the history of COVID-19 in Pakistan up-to 24th weeks after beginning, current situation, epidemiology, and its impact on the human population. Moreover, we focused on physiological variation during the incubation period, genome analysis of SARS-CoV2, supportive treatment approaches, and safety measures in the Pakistani population, which may be supportive for combating the risk of COVID-19 epidemic. We also reviewed the future approaches for the development of therapeutic interventions and vaccines to cope with the COVID-19 epidemic.</p
