    The role of consumer satisfaction in mediating product quality and online service quality on repeat product purchase decisions

    This research aims to determine the influence of product quality and online service quality on consumer satisfaction and repeat product purchase decisions in an online pastry business. This research uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 51 consumers who have made purchases more than twice in a period of 6 months. The results show that product quality and online service quality have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction, which in turn has a significant effect on repeat purchase decisions. This research is expected to provide insight and strategic recommendations in improving product quality and online service quality, thus increasing consumer satisfaction and encouraging repeat purchase decisions. The research results will also contribute to marketing and business literature by deepening understanding of the relationship between product quality and online service quality, consumer satisfaction, and repeat purchase decisions in the context of online business in Indonesia

    Penguatan Pembuatan Abon Berbahan Dasar Bandeng dan Limbahnya sebagai Inovasi Produk dalam Rangka Pemberdayaan Masyarakat

    Kelurahan Wonorejo dan Keputih di Surabaya merupakan dua wilayah penghasil ikan bandeng terbesar yang memiliki potensi besar dalam pengembangan produk olahan ikan. Namun, pemanfaatan sumber daya ikan bandeng dan limbahnya masih belum optimal karena keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pengolahan di masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dalam mengolah ikan bandeng dan limbahnya menjadi produk inovatif berupa abon ikan bandeng dan abon limbah ikan bandeng. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan dan demonstrasi, serta evaluasi menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta mengapresiasi produk yang dihasilkan dari segi kreativitas, daya simpan, rasa, dan potensi bisnisnya. Sebanyak 64 dari 76 responden sangat setuju bahwa produk memiliki potensi sebagai peluang usaha. Kegiatan ini mendorong praktik pengolahan pangan yang berkelanjutan, memperkuat ekonomi keluarga, dan mendukung tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan

    Penyakit diare pada saat ini masih merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia, baik bila ditinjau dari angka kesakitan atau kematian yang ditimbulkannya. Penyakit diare juga sering menimbulkan kejadian luar biasa (KLB) dengan frekuensi dan kematian yang cukup tinggi yang dapat menimbulkan keresahan masyarakat dan berdampak pada sektor-sektor lain. Kurang pengetahuan dan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat dari masyarakat tentang pencegahan diare akan meningkatkan risiko terjangkit diare. Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perilaku sehat masyarakat untuk mencegah diare adalah dengan memberikan pendidikan kesehatan. Sasaran kegiatan adalah ibu PKK dan siswa TK YP di RW 2 Kelurahan Pakis Kecamatan Sawahan Surabaya. Metode penyuluhan dengan ceramah, tanya jawab, demonstrasi cuci tangan yang benar dan cara membuat oralit. Setelah dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan sebagian besar ibu-ibu PKK (85%) memiliki pengetahuan baik dan 100% anak TK mampu melakukan teknik cuci tangan 6 langkah dengan benar

    KAJIAN DESAIN RUANG PUBLIK BUNDARAN BESAR PALANGKA RAYA PASCA REVITALISASI

     Bundaran Besar Palangkaraya berfungsi sebagai landmark kota dan ruang terbuka publik yang penting. Meskipun telah direvitalisasi pada 2022, evaluasi empiris mengenai hasil desain dan keberlanjutan jangka panjang masih terbatas. Penelitian ini mengkaji perubahan desain pasca-revitalisasi pada dimensi estetika, fungsional, lingkungan, dan budaya. Pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif diterapkan (Januari–April 2025) dengan purposive sampling untuk wawancara informan kunci (perencana kota, pengelola lokasi, dan pengguna), observasi lapangan, dan dokumentasi visual. Data dianalisis menggunakan prosedur Miles dan Huberman (reduksi, penyajian, veri¿kasi) serta triangulasi untuk meningkatkan validitas. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signi¿kan pada kualitas visual (Menara Talawang, air mancur hias, dan pencahayaan malam), fasilitas fungsional (toilet, mushola, jalur pedestrian terstruktur, jogging track, dan perbaikan infrastruktur parkir yang masih berproses), kualitas lingkungan (penambahan vegetasi dan drainase yang lebih baik), serta representasi budaya (integrasi motif Dayak dan pelestarian monumen sejarah). Tantangan tetap ada berupa pengaturan pembiayaan pemeliharaan dan tata kelola belum jelas, aksesibilitas bagi penyandang disabilitas belum merata, pengelolaan pedagang kaki lima serta dampak sosialekonomi pada pedagang informal belum tuntas, dan masalah lalu lintas/parkir masih muncul pada jam sibuk. Rekomendasi meliputi rencana pengelolaan dan pendanaan terpadu, regulasi pedagang yang partisipatif, peningkatan aksesibilitas, serta pemantauan longitudinal untuk mengevaluasi hasil sosial dan lingkungan. Temuan ini memberikan panduan praktis bagi revitalisasi ruang publik di kota-kota berkembang

    Desain interior dan arsitektur adalah desain yang ditujukan untuk memperindah ataupun menambah nilai estetika sebuah bangunan atau ruang. Selain dari menambah nilai estetika, desain juga memiliki keterkaitan langsung dengan aktivitas penggunanya. Dalam beraktivitas, perilaku manusia memiliki hubungan timbal balik dengan lingkungan. Dari hal tersebut, terlihat bahwa desain bangunan tidak bisa hanya asal dibuat menarik dari tampaknya, namun juga harus memberikan suasana perasaan yang sesuai dengan kegunaan ruang atau bangunan sehingga dalam melakukan aktivitasnya, pengguna bisa merasa nyaman. Menyadari pentingnya keterkaitan antara perilaku manusia dengan ruang yang di desain memunculkan sebuah peluang bisnis interior dan arsitektur. Peluang ini menjadi sarana dalam berdirinya V Design sebagai konsultan interior dan arsitektur dengan pendekatan design and behaviour sebagai nilai tambah. Pendekatan design and behaviour digunakan untuk merancang ruang berdasarkan pemahaman tentang bagaimana lingkungan fisik memengaruhi perilaku pengguna. Konsep suasana ruang yang ingin dihadirkan adalah suasana tenang, sehingga gaya yang dipilih adalah Japandi yang dipadukan dengan konsep minimalis. Selain menjadi solusi permasalahan, gaya yang sedang menjadi tren ini digunakan untuk menambah value pada Cafe dan Marketing Gallery di Jombang ini supaya masyarakat lebih tertarik untuk mengunjungi tempat ini. Dengan menerapkan pendekatan design and behaviour, diharapkan proyek ini dapat menciptakan ruang yang tidak hanya fungsional, tetapi juga responsif terhadap perilaku pengguna serta dapat meningkatkan interaksi sosial

    SPATIAL EVALUATION OF NATURAL AND BUILT AREA PROPORTIONS IN CORAL REEF ECOTOURISM AT PANTAI PANDAWA, BALI

    Indonesia’s coral reef ecosystems, particularly in Bali, are facing a degradation issue caused by climate change, pollution, and unregulated tourism, which threatens marine biodiversity and local economic resilience. Although several conservation programs have been initiated, the spatial balance between natural and built areas in coral reef ecotourism remains poorly defined, resulting in inconsistent design approaches that often overlook ecological capacity. This study addresses evaluating the optimal spatial composition and architectural features within coral reef ecotourism through a comparative case study framework. The research evaluates three international precedents: Hanauma Bay Marine Education Centre (Hawaii), Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort (Australia), and Cape d’Aguilar Marine Reserve (Hong Kong), which are selected for their preserved ecological success and effective spatial management strategies. A mixed-method analysis combining spatial quantification and qualitative evaluation was applied to identify patterns in area allocation, facility typology, and ecological integration. Results show that successful projects consistently allocate more than 70% of their total land to conservation areas and less than 30% to build facilities, with a focus on research, education, and community participation. The findings provide an evidence-based framework for developing the proposed Coral Reef Conservation Centre at Pantai Pandawa, Bali. By linking spatial proportion and ecological function, this study offers both academic and practical contributions to sustainable coastal architecture and ecotourism strategies in Indonesia

    Visual Aesthetics of Batik Cloth in the Mitoni Ritual of Surakarta

    This research examines the visual aesthetics and symbolic meaning of batik cloth used in the Javanese Mitoni ritual in Surakarta, a traditional ceremony held during the seventh month of pregnancy to pray for the safety of the mother and child. The study employs a qualitative iconographic approach to analyze the form, motif, and symbolism of batik cloth selected for the ritual. Data were collected through direct observation and interviews with ritual practitioners and families who conducted the ceremony. The analysis reveals that each batik motif carries philosophical meanings representing prayers for protection, fertility, and harmony. The cloth used within the Surakarta Palace tradition demonstrates strong ties between visual art and spiritual belief, functioning as both aesthetic expression and cultural identity. The findings highlight the importance of preserving batik as part of Indonesia’s intangible heritage and its role as a visual language of hope and continuity in Javanese culture

    Constructing of Penta Helix Model Approach in Reducing Stunting and Upscaling Human Resource Capabilities in Surabaya Development : A Meta Synthesis

    This research investigates the application of the Penta Helix Model in addressing two critical issues in Surabaya City: reducing stunting and upscaling human resource capabilities. The Penta Helix Model, which encompasses collaboration among academia, business, government, community, and media, offers a comprehensive framework for sustainable urban development. Meta synthesis as this research method reffered to synthesizes findings from recent and past research to identify effective strategies and their interrelationships within this model. Key strategies for reducing stunting include nutritional interventions such as micronutrient supplementation and fortification of staple foods, health care initiatives like the Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI) and growth monitoring, and educational programs that emphasize school-based nutrition and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) education. Community engagement through initiatives like Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) and women's empowerment programs further supports these efforts, while effective governance and supportive policies provide the necessary environment for successful implementation. In upscaling human resource capabilities, the research highlights the importance of educational enhancement through vocational training and continuing professional development, health and wellness programs to maintain a productive workforce, and community empowerment via technology-driven approaches such as AI for socio-economic predictions. Business and economic development initiatives, coupled with technological innovations like mHealth solutions and remote sensing, are also crucial in aligning workforce skills with market demands and improving access to essential services. The research finding referred the interconnectedness of these strategies and the necessity of a collaborative approach within the Penta Helix Model. By leveraging the strengths of each stakeholder, Surabaya City can develop and implement comprehensive, inclusive, and sustainable interventions to address stunting and enhance human resource capabilities.     Representasi Perempuan dalam Iklan Sunsilk Hijab Anti Ketombe: Analisis Wacana Kritis Sara Mills

    This study aims to reveal the representation of women in the Sunsilk Hijab Anti-Dandruff advertisement using a descriptive qualitative approach and Sara Mills’ critical discourse analysis theory. The focus of this research includes the position of the subject, object, and reader within the advertisement discourse, as well as how language and visuals construct the image of women. The research data consists of a video advertisement for Sunsilk Hijab Anti-Dandruff obtained from the official YouTube channel of Sunsilk Indonesia. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, which involved watching, recording, and identifying relevant visual and verbal elements. Data analysis uses Sara Mills’ theory by examining the relationship between text and image to uncover the embedded ideological meanings. The findings show that the advertisement represents hijab-wearing women as active subjects who remain dynamic despite experiencing dandruff problems. Sunsilk is positioned as a solution that respects their identity and provides comfort. The reader is positioned as an individual seeking practical solutions to dandruff issues, particularly for hijab-wearing women.     Understanding The Reasoning Behind Gen-Z’s Desire for Authenticity in Today’s Marketing

    Generation-Z is a demographic that largely rejects traditional advertising methods, instead placing a high value on authenticity in their interactions with brands. While this preference is acknowledged, few studies have deeply analysed the specific reasoning behind this generation’s desire for authenticity. This research aims to address this gap by investigating the underlying motivations for Gen-Z’s demand for "indexical authenticity" in today’s marketing. Employing a mixed-method approach, the research gathers data through a questionnaire containing quantitative and qualitative questions with 63 total respondents. The findings reveal that the generation’s rejection is an active emotional response, with 68.3% of respondents feeling annoyed by unskippable advertisements, and 83.6% of them skipping ads immediately. The research concludes that Generation-Z defines indexical authenticity through three fundamental pillars: relatability, transparency, and shared values (marketing & content that appeals to their moral compass)
