    The objectives of this study are (1) to improve PAK learning outcomes by applying the role playing learning method to Class 9-1 students of SMP Negeri 1 Sunggal for the 2020/2021 academic year, (2) to improve. This research is classroom action research with 2 cycles, each cycle consists of 4 activities, namely planning, action, observation and reflection followed by planning in the next cycle by utilizing the results of previous reflections. The solution design in question is an action in the form of a role-playing learning method in teaching the subject of Church self-renewal Class 9-1, 9-3 Class 9-1 SMP Negeri 1 Sunggal for the academic year 2020/2021 as many as 31 people. The findings of the study indicate that PAK learning with role playing learning methods can improve student learning outcomes as evidenced by the increase in PAK learning outcomes in each cycle, from an average of 70.52 to an average of 80.19. students feel happy learning PAK and are motivated to learn This implies that by applying the role playing learning method (role playing) can improve teacher skills, student activities or positive responses to the learning, for that teachers are expected to apply and develop play learning methods role (role playing) in PAK learning

    The purpose of this study was to describe the level of effectiveness of using visual media images in the learning process of Christian religious education at the Benfomeni Christian Theology High School. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. The results obtained in the study are: 1). Actively involved students include: students look more focused and happy and not bored in participating in teaching and learning activities in class; 2). Students participate in learning by showing a sense of more interest when Christian religious education teachers use visual media images; 3). The form of the image includes: contextual design aspects; 4). The attractiveness of the visual media is because of the clarity of the image

    Virtual Class for Sunday School Teachers During the Covid-19 Pandemic

    Sunday School programs play an important role in promoting the spiritual growth of children. Educating children is a must. Children are God's inheritance to parents. Conducting ministry to children has been started since the Old Testament times as God commanded Moses (Exodus 12:25-27). Today, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced Sunday School teachers to adapt to technology. In the perspective of the cognitive load theory of multimedia-based learning, the media is a central factor determining the successful attainment of learning objectives. Effective media makes learning easy that enables the Sunday School students to process and integrate new information with their prior knowledge. In so doing, the reconstruction of new knowledge during the learning process via multimedia is possibly generated. However, the extent to which Sunday school teachers can make use of technology in the context of Sunday School teaching has not extensively been explored in the pandemic studies. This paper aims to provide a sketch of the implementation of teaching and learning activities carried out by Sunday school teachers at church X during the pandemic. About eight Sunday school teachers are involved as the subjects of this study: one male Sunday school teacher (12%) and seven female Sunday school teachers (88%). This paper finds that Sunday School teachers can adapt to technology. To design an effective teaching media, the teachers minimize extrinsic load to promote effective learning while maintaining appropriate difficulty level of the new topics being presented (intrinsic load)

    This study aims to explain one of the curriculum designs commonly used in the field of education, namely the learner-centered design that can be adopted by the church in order to design early adult development in the church according to the stage of development of church members. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method to describe the stages of implementing the Learner Centered design in designing the curriculum in the church. Based on the results of the study, it was found that: 1) the learner-centered design is very relevant to be used for coaching adults in the church in short and medium-term programs because it is practical, arranged based on needs and makes it easier for the congregation to understand the teaching of God's will in daily life and meet their development needs. 2) the stages that the church needs to prepare when implementing this curriculum design consist of an initial stage to analyze the needs of the congregation, a design stage that pays attention to the material, a relevant learning time strategy for students, and an evaluation stage to determine the success of the designed curriculum

    Efforts to Reduce Psychological Problems in the Quarter Life Crisis Phase with Pastoral Accompaniment Methods

    The purpose of this research was to find out the importance of pastoral care for young people who are in the quarter life crisis phase. The method used is a survey with data collection techniques using questionnaires distributed to respondents and interviews. The sample used is non-probability sampling using the quota sample method. The number of questionnaires collected was 43 from the population of young people between 18-30 years of age. The results showed that some respondents agree that pastoral care is important for young people who were in the quarter life crisis phase. Some respondents of young people claimed that they needed pastoral accompaniment and trust the pastor's guidance and advice. However, there were still some of young people who feel they did not need pastoral care. This had the potential to cause problems when they went through the quarter life crisis phase

    The family is an institution of God Himself (Genesis 2:18-25) aside from the church (Matthew 16:18) obtaining a glorious mandate through God's family to want the birth of Divine offspring (Malachi 2:15), which is a God-fearing and living in its prescribed streets. To achieve the above goal, a Christian Religious  Education of faith became something very important. But unfortunately there are Christian families who are unaware of this and are shifting this glorious mandate to the church through sunday school teachers or transferring it to school (through Christian religious teachers). The writer assesses this distraction on the one hand as a parent's misunderstanding of the mandate or on the other hand because of the parents' inability to handle it. The method the writer uses is a descriptive qualitative with a library approach. The writer tapped relevant resources from the bible, books and journals. Starting with a general understanding and juridis about the family, the Biblical basis of the family and its calling, the family's responsibility for Christian Religious Education and the danger of displacing the function of Christisn Religious Education on the third hand and the writer will eventually conclude that it is important to restore the family's function as a base of Christian Religious Education as well as to accord with scriptural values to be so effective in reaching the goal of bearing Divine offspring

    The aim of this study is to describe the role of Christian religious education teachers in shaping the character of students at the Basmuti One Roof Junior High School during the covid 19 pandemic. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive method. The subject of this research is the teacher of Christian religious education subject at Basmuti One Roof State Junior High School. This research can use three steps in data collection, namely: observation, structured interviews and documentation studies. So the results obtained from this study are the teacher's role in shaping the character of students at the Basmuti One Roof Junior High School, namely: 1). The teacher's role in the formation of student character, includes providing motivation, can facilitate, for example in setting an example and increasing student creativity. 2). Characters that are instilled in students are honesty, responsibility, increase student creativity, and cooperation

    This article departs from the condition of some churches which are very concerning. Not a few churches live reluctantly, don't want to die, there are even churches that are quiet about activities, even if there are only routines, especially during the covid-19 pandemic like now, especially small churches in villages. Silence, waiting for a helping hand from the benefactors. Therefore, this article will discuss the importance of the role of a Church leader as an agent of change for the congregation he pastors. This study uses a literature method with a descriptive qualitative approach. The emphasis is on the study of library sources and parsing them and providing explanations in a descriptive framework. The main source analysis is literature literacy which examines visionary Church leaders as agents of change which is complemented by various journal articles and other academic sources relevant to the topics discussed. Vision is an important thing that must be owned by a church leader, because the vision will provide a clear direction. Vision is one of the determining factors for the success of a leader.Artikel ini beranjak dari kondisi beberapa gereja yang ini sangat memprihatinkan.  Tidak sedikit gereja yang hidup segan, mati tak mau, Bahkan ada gereja yang sepi kegiatan, kalaupun ada sifatnya hanya ritinitas, apalagi di masa pandemic covid -19 seperti sekarang ini, khususnya  gereja-gereja kecil di perkampungan. Berdianm diri, menunggu uluran tangan dari para dermawan. Oleh karena itu artikel ini akan membahas tentang pentingnya peran seorang pemimpin Gereja sebagai pelaku perubahan bagi kemaat yang digembalakannya.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penekanannya adalah pada kajian terhadap sumber-sumber pustaka dan mengurainya serta memberi penjelasan dalam sebuah kerangka uraian. Analisis sumber utama adalah literasi pustaka yang mengkaji tentang pemimpin Gereja yang visioner sebagai pelaku perubahan yang dilengkapi oleh berbagai artikel jurnal dan sumber akademik lainnya yang relevan dengan topik yang dibahas.     Genesis 3:1-7 is the most important of the four chapters in the chapter. The problem that occurred was when the woman in the garden came face to face with a snake who said to her, “you will never die” (Gen 3:4). These words resulted in a dialogue that made the woman not only see and think that the fruit gave understanding, but she also took, ate and gave it to her husband and her husband ate it (Gen 3:6). This action has caused their eyes to be opened so that they know that they are naked (Gen. 3:7a), and they make their loincloths, because naked is a picture of their sinful condition.
