    Design and build a digital TV receiver double biquad antenna for the Greater Malang region and its surroundings

    Many types of antennas can be used for digital TV receivers; in this article we try to design a double biquad antenna. This is due to a simple form, easy to make, a wide beamwidth. In designing a digital TV receiver for the Malang area, an STB device is needed, so that analog TV can still receive digital TV broadcasts. In this study, the antenna is made of copper wire, each side length: ¼ ? , with a working frequency: 650 MHz. In order to match the impedance of the 75? coaxial cable with the antenna, a  balun 4:1 is required. The research place is in the Polinema Telecommunications laboratory. The test results show that the lowest return loss (RL) occurs at a frequency of F=605 MHz, namely RL: -17.8 dB, for a frequency of F=650 MHz, the magnitude of RL: -11.3 dB. The large VSWR antenna at the working frequency F: 650 MHz is 1.46. So that it can be said that it has fulfilled the antenna parameters, namely VSWR < 2. It means that there is a power loss of less than 10%. The largest antenna gain occurs at a frequency: 400 MHz namely: 14.85 dB,. While the average gain of the antenna is 2.21 dB. The antenna radiation pattern is omni directional. The double biquad antenna is very good for use as a digital TV receiver for the Greater Malang area, either without using a reflector or with a reflector

    Simulation of Piko Hydro Power Generator Using Thread Turbine With 10 Watt Power

    Renewable energy is one of the efforts to utilize electricity from renewable energy sources. Hydroelectric power is one of the plants that utilizes water as the main energy. Although the amount of energy is abundant, but in Indonesia the use of water as a power plant is still below 7%. This is due to the lack of human resources to manage water energy. Therefore, in this study, a simulation of a pico-hydro power plant using a screw turbine was designed which is expected to provide benefits. This tool is equipped with digital monitoring using Arduino Uno. Power monitoring on this tool uses the INA219 power sensor which is displayed on the LCD display. This tool uses a 12-24V DC generator. The turbine used is a screw turbine type. This pico-hydro power plant simulation is capable of turning on a load equivalent to 1 lamp of 10 watts/12 VAC with an inverter. The measurement of the current and voltage of the generator shows that the average current reaches 11.75 mA and the average voltage produced is 2.11 VDC and the power generated is 24.82 mW. The resulting step-up voltage measurement to charge the battery is 13.04 VDC and the current is 12.4 mA and the battery charging power is 0.161 watts

    Fiber optics is a light-utilizing signal transmission medium and can be used in a wide variety of sensing sensors. Optical fiber has multifunctional sensing capabilities, namely strain, pressure, temperature, and acoustic signals with a high level of sensitivity. In this study, optical fiber will be used as a mass sensor by utilizing the macro bending method with microcontroller media. The data analysis carried out was compares the graph when the fiber optic is given a certain load, by the number certain windings and when bending with a certain diameter will then be made formula for measuring mass with optical fiber. Load or load mass = 0 gr, 200 gr, 400 gr, up to 10 kg with 9 turns and ¼ inch, ½ inch, 5/8 inch, ¾ inch, and 1 inch diameter hose. In this study, the results of weight measurement using an equation obtained from measuring the power loss against the load used are formed in a graph which results in the linier equation that is entered converted into a formula for finding the load which is then inputted into the android code so that it can be processed properly

    Design and Build a System to Minimize the Impact of Toluene Exposure on IoT-Based Workshop Workers

    Toluene is one type of organic solvent that is widely used in industry. Organic solvents can have a negative impact on health when exposed to the human body through inhalation (breathing), digestion (swallowing) and adsorption (skin contact). This compound is widely used as a basic material for solvents, dyes, paints, resins, perfumes, nail polish, gasoline, glue, solvent thinner, immersion ink, and printing. The impact on each human will vary depending on the concentration, duration and toxicity of the solvent. The effects of exposure are generally long-term and short-term. Short-term effects include respiratory complaints and eye irritation in exposed humans. An ESP32 microcontroller, HCHO sensor, and DHT11 sensor were used in this study to construct a system to lessen the effects of toluene exposure on workshop personnel. Temperature and humidity sensors picked up by DHT11 have an average value for each node. Each node's average value for the temperature and humidity sensors detected by DHT11 is available. The average error value is categorized as accurate and good for nodes A and B, which are separated by 2 meters and 4 meters, respectively. Due to the DHT11's error rates, the temperature range is 20C and the humidity range is 5% RH

The alumni data at the Banyuwangi State Polytechnic is still kept in the form of an alumni album book. Data entered in printed form has many shortcomings, including the possibility of being damaged, lost, or not being able to be changed periodically. To overcome the above problems, making a Website-Based Alumni Book Application with the Laravel Framework is the right way to deal with these problems. With this alumni book application, users can store information data digitally and the data stored in this application can be updated regularly. The alumni book application provides a search feature that is used to quickly search alumni data and print alumni albums to print their own albums. In this alumni book application, users are given various kinds of information related to alumni. In addition, users can also view details of alumni annual albums from different graduating generations. Based on software testing carried out using the black box method, the Website-Based Alumni Book Application with the Laravel Framework which was tested at the Banyuwangi State Polytechnic has been in accordance with user needs and resulting the average for each page around 7MB

    The Effect of The Number of Array Elements from Printed Yagi Antenna Against Power Acquisition Efficiency for Implementation RF Harvesting Energy on Frequency 2.4 GHz

    Most low-power electronics, such as remote sensors and embedded devices, are powered by batteries. Replacement is expensive when there are hundreds of sensors in remote locations. RF Energy Harvesting can be used to provide an alternative energy source for these types of embedded devices. This study is to analyze the effect of the number of elements of the yagi print antenna array on the efficiency of receiving power at a frequency of 2.4 GHz. The making of this harvesting energy system is aimed at making the energy around us maximally utilized and used as alternative energy by the community. The highest output voltage of the rectifier antenna at a distance of 10 cm from the access point is 216 mV for a single element yagi print antenna, 96 mV for a 2 element yagi print antenna, and 168 mV for a 4 element yagi print antenna. with no load, the number of array elements affects the output voltage of the rectifier in addition to the number of stage voltage multipliers

    Indoor Positioning and Navigating System Application Using Wi-Fi with Fingerprinting Method and Weighted K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm: English

    The need for accurate indoor location determination, object tracking, digital maps and indoor travel routes is increasing along with the construction of buildings that have complex and spacious layouts. The current Global Positioning System navigation system is only effective for outdoor use. However, when used indoors it becomes inaccurate due to factors such as signal attenuation and multipath caused by wall obstructions in the building. This study designed an application of Indoor Positioning and Navigating System Using Wi-Fi with Fingerprinting method and Weighted K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm. In the design process, it is necessary to create a fingerprinting database by considering the number of Access points and environmental conditions. Based on the results of the study, the location results of the application show that from floors 1,2, and 3. Floor 1 has a room accuracy result of 89% and a point accuracy of 86% with an average deviation of 1.42 px or 0.9 m, floor 2 has room accuracy results. of 65% and a point accuracy of 70% with an average deviation of 2.43 px or 1.7 m, and the 3rd floor has a room accuracy of 86% and a point accuracy of 68% with an average deviation of 2.27 or 1.5 m. Based on the data above, this application is proven to be able to detect the position of someone in the room with a success percentage on the 1st floor by 90%, the 2nd floor by 55%, and the 3rd floor by 80%

    A kiosk / traditional minimarket is a small shop that generally sells goods like a modern minimarket. During this pandemic, it is recommended to pay for an item without contact (online) to break the chain of the Covid-19 virus. Therefore, an Android-based smartphone is very useful for making payments for an item online. Most people desire to have an item they want even though the price offered is sometimes quite expensive. However, some buyers want to get the goods as soon as possible and for payment to wait for a certain period according to their ability. This is detrimental to the kiosk owners because they do not get income from selling their goods. This reminder makes it easier for sellers to collect bills automatically without waiting for buyers to shop again at the same kiosk. Besides that, there is a limit for each buyer, which is useful for kiosk owners, so they do not lose money. This research needs to have a communication system that can make it easier for kiosk owners to collect bills from their customers without waiting for the customer to come again to shop at the same kiosk. In other words, the kiosk owner has certainty from the customer according to the agreed payment due date.Perkembangan teknologi dari tahun ke tahun menimbulkan persaingan dalam bidang apapun, Kios yang berada di daerah urban dituntut harus mengikuti perkembangan teknologi. Teknologi internet merupakan salah satu teknologi yang mudah digunakan untuk usaha kecil menengah. Kios tradisional adalah suatu toko kecil yang umumnya menjual barang barang layaknya minimarket modern. Namun perbedaan dari kios tradisional dengan modern ini adalah pembeli tidak bisa mengambil barang yang dia inginkan secara langsung, melainkan akan dilayani oleh pemilik kios tersebut. Sebagian besar masyarakat memiliki hasrat untuk memiliki suatu barang yang dia inginkan walaupun harga yang ditawarkan terkadang tergolong mahal. Namun, pembeli ingin mendapatkan barang tersebut secepatnya dan untuk pembayarannya menunggu dalam jangka waktu tertentu sesuai dengan kemampuan. Tagihan merupakan hal yang wajar pada kios, dan untuk sistem penagihannya menunggu pembeli tersebut berbelanja lagi di kios yang sama. Hal ini sangat merugikan pemilik kios karena mereka tidak mendapatkan pendapatan dari hasil menjual barang mereka. Dengan adanya reminder ini memudahkan penjual untuk menagih secara otomatis tanpa menunggu pembeli berbelanja lagi di kios yang sama, selain itu terdapat limit setiap pembeli, yang berguna bagi pemilik kios agar tidak merugi

    The pandemic period caused by the coronavirus disease causes restrictions on the number of users in a room to minimize the spread, for example, libraries. The library is a room area that can cause virus transmission when crowds of visitors. A system is needed to provide information regarding the number of library visitors. Utilizing a network (wifi transmitter) available in the library can provide information on the number of visitors based on the number of network users in a room. Utilization of the network (wifi transmitter) can be in the form of a positioning system by utilizing the wifi signal beam received by the user in RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator). To calculate the estimated user position, a trilateration method is used based on the placement of three wifi transmitters. The library visitor positioning system consists of users as wifi transmitter users and admins. At the X-coordinate, the measuring point with a low deviation of the measurement value is indicated by points C and E with a value of 0.1. The large deviation of the measurement value is indicated by the P point of 4.5. At the Y coordinate, point O has a low deviation value of 1.25, and the largest deviation value is at point M of 5.6. The accuracy of the X coordinate shows a value of 97.647% and at the Y coordinate of 96.57%. Both coordinates have good accuracy for the points used as position measurements.Masa pandemi yang disebabkan oleh corona virus disease menyebabkan pembatasan jumlah pengguna pada suatu ruangan untuk meminimalisir penyebaran, contohnya perpustakaan. Perpustakaan merupakan area ruangan yang mampu menimbulkan penularan virus ketika terdapat kerumunan pengunjung. Diperlukan sebuah sistem yang dapat memberikan informasi terkait jumlah pengunjung perpustakaan. Dengan memanfaatkan sebuah jaringan (transmitter wifi) yang tersedia pada perpustakaan, dapat memberikan informasi jumlah pengunjung berdasar jumlah pengguna jaringan pada suatu ruangan. Pemanfaatan dari jaringan (transmitter wifi) dapat berupa sistem pemosisian dengan memanfaatkan pancaran sinyal wifi yang diterima oleh user  berupa RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator). Untuk dapat menghitung estimasi posisi user, digunakan metode trilaterasi dengan berdasar peletakan tiga buah pemancar wifi. Sistem pemosisian pengunjung  perpustakaan terdiri dari pengguna sebagai user transmitter wifi dan admin. Pada koordinat X titik ukur yang memiliki penyimpangan nilai pengukuran rendah ditunjukkan oleh titik C dan E dengan nilai 0,1. Penyimpangan nilai pengukuran yang besar ditunjukkan oleh titik P sebesar 4,5. Pada koordinat Y titik O memiliki penyimpangan nilai yang rendah dengan nilai 1,25 dan penyimpangan nilai terbesar terdapat pada titik M sebesar 5,6. Akurasi dari koordinat X menunjukkan nilai sebesar 97,647% dan pada koordinat Y sebesar 96,57%.     Design and Build a Water and Electric Power Management System at Public Toilet Using Microcontroller-Based Hybrid Solar Cell

    The need for public facilities in densely populated areas is an important matter. One of the needs for public facilities is a public toilet or commonly called MCK. However, the MCK facilities do not yet have management of charging water and electricity. One way to overcome this problem is to use a system that is able to manage water filling and electrical power in the MCK. The problem of insufficient power can be overcome by applying Solar Cell using a Hybrid system so that the existing power becomes more efficient. This study uses a water management system in the toilet bowl using ultrasonic sensors and solenoid valves. The duration of using MCK is known from the PIR sensor. The power management itself uses a hybrid solar cell system where the resources used are batteries and PLN. Then the sensor reading data is sent to firebase and displayed on the website. Based on the test, it was found that the performance of the solar cell during testing on Saturday 10 July 2021 to Monday 12 July 2021 produced an average power of 20.28Watt and the average intensity of sunlight was 680062.32lx. The power used by the load for 3 days is 0.81 kWh. The average usage on the 3 days of the trial was 9.72 Min. Quality of Service testing on a 3-day trial system obtained an average delay of 0.9637308s and packet loss of 2.2%
