Xenophobia in Japan : Focusing on Nationalism, Authoritarianism and Social Capital
Get PDF本研究では、日本における中国人・韓国人への排外意識の規定要因を探ることを目的とし、権威主義、ナショナリズム、及び社会関係資本がその規定要因としていかなる構造を持つかを検証した。「日本の国際化と市民の政治参加に関する世論調査」（2013）をデータとして構造方程式モデルで分析した。先行研究を参考にしながら、まだ明らかになっていない規定要因とその構造を検証できるよう、8つの仮説を立て、分析を行った。その結果、以下のような5 つの知見が得られた。1つ目は、権威主義がナショナリズムと脅威認知に媒介効果を持ち、2つのルートで排外意識を高めているということだ。排外意識抑制のためには、権威主義を抑制する必要がある。2つ目は、サポートネットワークを持たない個人は、排外意識が高くなりやすいということだ。3つ目は、日本社会の一般的信頼の構造である。日本人の一般的信頼は、自分と同質性の高いものに限定した信頼と、異質な他者まで範囲を広げた信頼の2つが混在している。そして排外意識抑制のためには、前者ではなく、後者の信頼を高めなければならないことに注意が必要である。4つ目は、脅威認知に対する同化主義の効果である。日本における外国人に対する脅威は、ヨーロッパにおける脅威認知と異なっており、集団内の同質性を失うことに対する脅威であった。5つ目は、教育が持つ権威主義、及び排外意識への効果である。権威主義と排外意識を抑制するために個人の教育の達成を支援していくことが同時に役立つことが明らかになった。本研究では、これまでの排外意識研究における有力な仮説を整理したことで、現在の日本における排外意識の規定要因が複雑な構造を持っていることを明らかにした。departmental bulletin pape

Sectoral Net Lending Flows : A Comparison between Japan and the UK
Get PDF国際収支の金融収支（あるいは経常収支）に現れる自国と国外との資金過不足は，一国の部門間資金過不足の一部を構成している。したがって，国際収支項目の経時的変容の観点から見ても，一国の部門別の資金過不足，言い換えれば，資金余剰を意味するプラスの純貸出フロー，および，資金不足を意味するマイナスの純貸出フロー（あるいはプラスの純借入フロー）を分析することは重要である。本稿は，こうした観点に立ち，近年，国際収支の変容に顕著な英国との比較において我が国の部門別純貸出フロー（プラス/マイナス）を統計的に分析する。この分析により，部門間の連動性の大小について英国と日本が異なる特徴をもっていることを明らかにする。本稿の構成は次のとおりである。第1節で英国と日本の国際収支の現状を確認する。第2節で国際収支と部門別純貸出フローの関係を整理する。第3節では英国の部門別純貸出フローについて，そして，第4節では日本の部門別純貸出フローについて分析する。最後に，第5節では英国および日本における純貸出フローの部門間の連動について分析する。departmental bulletin pape

Basic Research for the Social History Study of the View of Children : Approach for comparative consideration of children’s views in Japan and China
Get PDFThe social history study the view of children, which was born in Western Europe and has been developed mainly in Western Europe, is currently developing toward research from a global perspective. However, many Asian studies are conducted by country, and linguistic barriers are added, and the results are not fully reflected in global studies. This paper attempts a comparative study between Japan and China using painting materials, based on the issues of social history study of the view of children in Asia, which is required to develop from country to area studies and world studies. In the discussion, I based on China, which has a great influence on the formation of the view of children in East Asia and is advancing the arrangement of painting materials, and placed Japan, which has achieved its own development under the influence of China. This paper is a preliminary study that explores analytical perspectives for conducting comparative studies between Japan and China. In the future, if this can be developed into full-scale research and further expanded to comparative research that includes South Korea and Vietnam, it will become the basis of study the view of children in the Confucian cultural sphere, which is important for the formation of study of the view of children in the Asian region. I hope that this paper will be a step toward the development of social history study of the view of children in the Asian region, which requires global progress.departmental bulletin pape
