Get PDF2011年3月の東日本大震災によって発生した福島第一原子力発電所事故によって，東日本を中心に大量の放射性物質が大気中に放出・拡散され沈着した．成蹊学園では，事故直後から成蹊気象観測所において空間放射線量率をモニターし，学内および学外に情報提供を行った．事故から10年を経た状況も踏まえて，原発事故時に，人口密集地の学校現場で，どのようなデータを得ていたかを記録した．このような人災を二度と起こさないようにするためにも，事故によって何が起きるかを忘れないことが大切であると考えられる．The Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station Accident caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake in March 2011 resulted in atmospheric dispersion and deposition of radionuclides mainly around eastern Japan. The Seikei Meteorological Observatory monitored the air dose rate immediately after the accident, and provided information to the public. In this paper, the author recorded what kind of data including the present state was obtained at the school after the disaster in Musashino-shi, Tokyo. In order to such accidents never again, it is considered important to remember what happens as a result of nuclear power plant disaster.departmental bulletin pape

Proposals for Liquidating Japan’s Housing Market : Lessons from the International Comparison of Foreclosures
Get PDFTo secure the liquidity of the housing market, we should construct a platform for selling existing housing units smoothly in conjunction with effective policy support for buying them. The spread of COVID-19 and accelerating prices have made people insecure about their employment and housing conditions worldwide. Under these turbulent circumstances, ordinary citizens who bought their houses via mortgages may default on their payments, resulting in their houses being sold by creditors to recover loans. Japan has two methods of debt collection: judicial foreclosure initiated by local courts and non-judicial foreclosure based on the agreement between the creditor and debtor. Comparisons of the foreclosure laws and systems in selected countries found that Japan’s judicial foreclosure is characterized by high involvement by the court and strong tenant protection, while non-judicial foreclosure remains outside the purview of the court. We propose reforms for providing information and effective judicial involvement for judging the risks of existing dwellings for potential bidders, which will promote internet auctions of real estate and more liquidity in Japan’s housing market.departmental bulletin pape

Implementation of Running Form Analysis System Based on Video Processing
Get PDFThe authors are interested in running form analysis and have implemented running form analysis system. In the developed system, two cameras are used for data collection; one camera is set behind the treadmill, and the other camera is set on the side of the treadmill. From the cameras, running images of a person who runs on the treadmill are captured, and keypoints of the person are detected from the images.
