Sequence Analysis of Romance and Marriage: 4 Patterns based on National Representative Panel Data
この論文は,人びとが(恋愛,結婚していない)シングル状態から恋愛,結婚へと時系列のなかで移行するとき,軌跡にどのようなパターンがあるのか,というリサーチクエスチョンを解決する.そこで,家族に関する振り返り調査をデータとし,系列分析を実施した.代表性のある全国データで,回顧方式によってパネルデータが収集された(2022 年実施,分析対象は3,290 人).分析の結果,長期シングル(比率は約3 割),長期恋愛(1 割),シングルから結婚(2 割),恋愛から結婚(4 割)の4 パターンが抽出された.これらは恋愛経験と結婚経験の長短で特徴づけられたので,軌跡のパターンは多様であった.恋愛がシングルと結婚を媒介する期間は,シングルから結婚パターンで1年ほど,恋愛から結婚パターンでは7 年ほどと違いがあった.さらに,男性ほど長期シングル,女性ほど恋愛から結婚パターンが約1 割おおく,男女で偏りがあった.シングルと結婚を媒介するものとして恋愛を計量分析したのは,国内外とわずこの論文がはじめてである.departmental bulletin pape

Sentiment Analysis by User Age Group Using Replies to News Posts on SNS
The widespread use of SNS enables people of different ages to express their opinions on daily events. It creates an opportunity to analyze public opinion and emotional trends, which can inform marketing strategies and public policies. In this study, we analyzed whether there are differences in the internal states of SNS users based on their attributes. First, we collected replies to the Livedoor News account on X (formerly Twitter). We then used the COTOHA API to estimate users' ages based on their replies and account profiles. We applied the emotion estimation method ML-Ask to the replies. Finally, we aggregated the frequency of emotional words by user age group daily and applied hierarchical clustering to visualize differences in emotional changes across user age groups. Besides, we used logistic regression to identify news topics characterizing each cluster by examining the regression coefficients. The results showed that younger users frequently responded to familiar topics such as entertainment. In comparison, middle-aged and older users tended to respond to more complex topics such as politics and economics.departmental bulletin pape
