    Analisis Ketersediaan Ruang Terbuka Hijau Menggunakan Citra Planet Di Kecamatan Sewon, Bantul

    Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) adalah ruang terbuka bervegetasi dengan fungsi yang beragam. Namun, seiring berkembangnya lahan terbangun menyebabkan keberadaan RTH semakin berkurang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui akurasi informasi RTH yang diperoleh dari interpretasi visual citra Planet di Kecamatan Sewon, mengetahui ketersediaan RTH berdasarkan kepemilikan, dan mengetahui ketersediaan RTH berdasarkan kebutuhan oksigen. Data penginderaan jauh yang digunakan adalah citra Planet sedangkan data sekunder berupa jumlah penduduk, jumlah kendaraan, dan jumlah hewan ternak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah interpretasi visual pada citra Planet, metode Gerarkis, dan Confusion Matrix. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa citra Planet dapat digunakan untuk memperoleh informasi RTH dengan akurasi 87.1%. RTH di Kecamatan Sewon berdasarkan status kepemilikan publik sebesar 11.11% dan privat 25.47% sehingga perlu dilakukan penambahan RTH publik. Selain itu, kebutuhan RTH berdasarkan metode Gerarkis menunjukkan bahwa oksigen sudah terpenuhi. Pemetaan RTH menggunakan citra Planet dapat dijadikan sebagai data masukan dalam perumusan kebijakan lingkungan dan perencana kota, yaitu merancang tata ruang yang berkelanjutan serta memperhitungkan keberadaan dan kebutuhan RTH di masa depan

    Exploring The Association Between Learners' Academic Self-Concept and Academic Achievement In The English Subject

    Academic achievement is significantly influenced by the cognitive and emotional involvement of students in their learning experiences, which are motivated by factors including academic self-concept. The purpose of this study is to elaborate the significant association of learners’ academic self-concept and academic achievement in the English subject. This research used quantitative data approach and analysis of Product-Moment according to Karl Pearson. There were two variables, namely academic self-concept (X), and Academic achievement (Y). There were 177 samples of this research out of 317 population gotten from simple random sampling. The value of the correlation between academic self-concept and academic achievement was 0.646 r-table (0.001) and the p-value was 0.001 lower than the significance level 0.05. Academic Self-Concept was in the high category because 68% out of samples got 67-82 and categorized as the high. More than 80% samples got scores 70-100 and the Academic Achievement categorized as the very high achievement. There was a significant positive correlation in a strong category between academic self-concept and academic achievement. It is because the higher and lower the score of Academic Self-Concept, the higher and lower the score of Academic Achievement and vice versa

    The present study was aimed to investigate whether there is a relationship between daily X (Twitter) English usage and vocabulary mastery. The objective was to find out (1) the intensity of students’ daily X (Twitter) English usage; (2) the students’ vocabulary mastery; (3) the relationship between the intensity of students’ daily X (Twitter) English use and students’ vocabulary mastery. The design of the study was correlational quantitative research. The population was eleventh grade students, and the sample was 141 students who were using X (Twitter). The instruments of this study were a questionnaire and a multiple choice test. The data were analyzed by using Spearman Rank on SPSS 23. The finding of this study was (1) the intensity of students’ daily X (Twitter) English use was categorized as low, with the mean score 57.68; (2) the vocabulary mastery of students was categorized as excellent, with the mean score 81.6140; (3) the correlation correlation coefficient value was 0.101. In addition, p-value was 0.231 (>0.05). It indicated that there was no significant relationship between daily X (Twitter) English use and the vocabulary mastery of eleventh grade students at SMAN 1 Samarinda. The results of this study implied that students did not consider X (Twitter) as a vocabulary learning tool. In addition, students may have an excellent vocabulary without using X (Twitter). This study can be useful for future researchers as they can further investigate what are the factors of students’ English vocabulary mastery. Furthermore, they can also conduct an experimental study using the same subject and objective of the current study

    Reporting verbs are essential in academic writing because they help convey the writer's stance, attitude, and relationship with the reader, as highlighted in corpus-based research. This research was a corpus-based study that investigated the use of reporting verbs in applied linguistics journal articles published between 2020 and 2024. The main objectives were to identify the categories of reporting verbs used in the articles and determine the most frequently used categories within this period. This research applied a corpus linguistic technique, which used quantitative methods. The study specifically focuses on the frequency of reporting verbs in journal articles published within the selected time period. A corpus of 316 articles from the Indonesian Journal of Applied Linguistics was used as a data for the analysis. The data was processed using the software tool AntConc 4.2.0, which allowed for a detailed examination of the reporting verb frequencies and their categorization. The results revealed that Discourse Acts were the most frequently used reporting verbs, followed by Research Acts and Cognition Acts.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepemimpinan kepala sekolah perempuan di salah satu SMP Negeri di Mimika berdasarkan enam indikator, yaitu the mother (keibuan); the pet (kesayangan/kekeluargaan); the seductress (penyemangat); the iron maiden (wanita besi/tegas); pendekatan mengajak bawahan untuk ikut maju berkembang dalam pemikiran; dan pemimpin ikut terjun melaksanakan tugas agar mencapai tujuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskripsi kualitatif rancangan studi kasus. Objek penelitiannya adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru, ketua komite, dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data, yaitu observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumen. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dan pengecekan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data dengan teknik kredibilitas melalui triangulasi sumber, teknik, waktu, serta meningkatkan kecermatan penelitian. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dalam kepemimpinannya, kepala sekolah perempuan mempunyai enam indikator kepemimpinan seorang perempuan dalam melakukan tugasnya sebagai kepala sekolah

    Penelitian ini mengkaji peran Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) dalam mendukung keberlanjutan pembiayaan pendidikan di SMPN 7 Balikpapan. Tujuan studi ini adalah menganalisis kontribusi program CSR dalam menjaga keberlanjutan pembiayaan pendidikan di tingkat SMP, serta bagaimana peran sektor swasta dapat mengurangi ketergantungan pada dana publik dan mewujudkan sistem pendidikan yang lebih inklusif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui wawancara, pengumpulan data, dan observasi bantuan yang telah diterima SMPN 7 Balikpapan selama dua tahun terakhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT Trakindo merupakan perusahaan yang memberikan dukungan sosial. Peran perusahaan ini di bidang pendidikan lebih fokus pada peningkatan mutu guru dan pendidik, serta kualitas siswa dalam persiapan ajang atau perlombaan, termasuk seminar dan kegiatan parenting untuk orang tua. Bentuk kontribusi perusahaan bukan berupa bantuan dana, melainkan peningkatan mutu sekolah melalui berbagai pembinaan dan pelatihan. Oleh karena itu, pelaporan yang dapat disimpan sekolah hanya berupa dokumentasi, karena bantuan semacam ini memberikan dampak jangka panjang bagi sekolah.     Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berangkat dari analisis situasi yang mengidentifikasi kesulitan guru dan mayoritas peserta didik dalam pembelajaran fisika yang berdiferensiasi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi guru dalam mengeksplorasi gaya belajar peserta didik serta responnya terhadap pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada materi energi terbarukan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan pendampingan. Metode dan bentuk kegiatan pengabdian sesuai dengan tujuan kegiatan meliputi 3 langkah kegiatan yaitu: 1) tes gaya belajar, 2) kegiatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berdasarkan gaya belajar, dan 3) observasi dan refleksi. Sasaran kegiatan pembinaan ini adalah 1 orang guru dan 35 peserta didik pada mata pelajaran fisika. Hasil kegiatan ditunjukkan dengan hasil belajar siswa melalui assessment of learning dan assessment for learning. Hasil kegiatan pembinaan dan pelatihan menyimpulkan peserta sudah memahami gaya belajar serta memiliki refleksi yang positif terhadap pembelajaran berdiferensasi. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan pembelajaran diferensiasi pada proses pendampingan telah meliputi, diferensiasi konten, proses, produk dan lingkungan belajar. Respon guru dan peserta didik menunjukkan mereka merasa terbantu dengan adanya pendampingan ini

    Science and Engineering Practices Elements on Physics Textbook: A Comparison Between Indonesia and Malaysia

    Many countries are revitalizing science subjects by strengthening the integration of science content with engineering, technology, and mathematics content and skills, creating STEM learning. However, the availability of textbooks capable of facilitating this integration remains limited. This study aims to analyze the Science and Engineering Practice content in high school physics textbooks used by Indonesian and Malaysian schools. This study is qualitative descriptive research with content analysis. The analysis was conducted on two samples of Indonesian and Malaysian books each. Content analysis is based on the SEPAR (Science and Engineering Practice Assessment Rubric) that divides Science and Engineering Practice into 8 elements. The analysis showed that Indonesian textbooks' Science and Engineering Practice content is still lacking compared to Malaysian books in all elements. The most common aspects found in Indonesian books are asking questions and defining problems. These results show that Malaysian high school physics textbooks represent many elements of Science and Engineering Practices, but there are still several elements that are not optimal.     Pola Asuh Orang Tua Dalam Mengembangkan Sosial Emosional Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di Taman Kanak-Kanak Melati Samarinda

    Parental parenting patterns are very important for children and have an impact that lasts into adulthood. Parents need to choose appropriate parenting styles so that children develop good social-emotional behavior. This study aims to find out: (1) How are parental parenting patterns applied at Melati Kindergarten in developing children’s social-emotional skills? (2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the development of children’s social-emotional skills at Melati Kindergarten? This researchuses a descriptive qualitative approach and was conducted at Melati Kindergarten. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that of the six parents interviewed, three used a permissive parenting style, one used a democratic parenting style, and two used an authoritarian parenting style. Children raisedwith a permissive style tend to be less disciplined, have difficulty regulating themselves, and are not accustomed to following rules. These permissive children tend to be immature and lack self-control. Children raised with a democratic style grow up confident, independent, able to control emotions, and cooperate easily. However, children raised with an authoritarian style tend to be more fearful, less confident, and undisciplined. Regarding supporting and inhibiting factors, internal factors includeparents’ lack of attention, which causes psychological pressure that impacts the child’s mental development. Parents’ busyness results in less support for social-emotional development, causing children to be less responsive to their environment. Poornutrition affects growth and development, making children less focused, easily angered, and fussy. External factors include the surrounding environment, as children adapt to their social environment. Children are excellent imitators
