PENERAPAN ALGORITMA NAIVE BAYES UNTUK PREDIKSI HEREGISTRASI CALON MAHASISWA BARU
Get PDFAdmission of new students is an important activity for universities to obtain new students. In the admission of new students, it is often the case that registration is not carried out by the registrant. This also happened in the admission of new students at UNISNU Jepara. Universities don't yet have a way of knowing whether a prospective new student is likely to enroll or not. Based on these problems, the Naive Bayes algorithm is applied to predict whether prospective new students are likely to register or not. The dataset used in this study was taken from PMB data for 2019-2020. The initial dataset obtained was 3,969 records with 18 (eighteen) attributes. Then pre-processing the data is carried out so that the dataset to be used becomes 2,853 records with 14 (fourteen) attributes with details of 1 (one) ID attribute, namely name, 12 (twelve) regular attributes, namely year of registration, class program, gender, age. , study program, city of origin, father's occupation, mother's occupation, parent's income, home school major, National Examination scores, registration information, and 1 (one) class attribute, namely the status of hereditary. The dataset is processed using the Naive Bayes algorithm and tested using a confusion matrix and ROC (Receiver Operating Characteristic) curve using RapidMinner tools. Obtained an accuracy value of 92.67% and an AUC (Area Under Curve) value of 0.841 which is categorized as a good classification

This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis techniques and library research. The results of the study, it can be said that amid pandemic, sharia-based equity crowdfunding can be an option for businesses or can prevent this outbreak, especially SMEs, to maintain their business by getting assistance in terms of finance or resources because they maintain sharia principles that prioritizing justice and transparency to realize the benefit of people. Because sharia crowdfunding invests in halal products, shares the risk of its investment, and has a character that is free from interest and avoids: 1. Riba, which is an addition given in exchange for usury goods or additional agreed-upon principal debts. 2. Get PDFEfficiency in determining the amount of inventory or raw material needs is an important issue for a company. Like other companies, furniture is also a company or industry that processes wood basic materials into household furniture such as cabinets, tables, chairs, and so on. The raw material for furniture is wood, and the availability of wood in the market is quite high and not always available. So furniture needs to be prepared by estimating the need for raw materials. With a good inventory system, furniture will get optimal profit. Genetic Algorithm is applied in optimizing the estimation of furniture raw materials to provide maximum profit by saving inventory costs. Genetic Algorithm used method of extended intermediate crossover, mutation, calculate the value of fitness and selection. In this study, there are 12 chromosomes which are furniture production data within a period of 12 months. The chromosome representation used is discrete decimal encoding. And each chromosome has genes 1-7 which is the product type. The optimal solution obtained from a population size of 100 populations, the combination of crossover and mutation is 1 and 1. With the highest fitness value of 45.00
Role of Job Satisfaction on Job Commitment and Value Creation of Management Sciences Academics
Get PDFObjective: Job switching intentions and high turnover rates among academics in Nigerian Universities including Southern Nigeria are appalling. The study examined the role of job satisfaction on job commitment and value creation. Research Design & Methods: Five research questions guided the study and two hypotheses were formulated. The study adopted the descriptive survey research design. 150 respondents were selected using a convenient sampling technique. A 46-item structured questionnaire was used as an instrument for data gathering which was rated on four point scale with nominal values. The instrument was scrutinized and found valid. The data gathered was analyzed using mean and standard deviation to address the research questions and determined the respondents’ homogeneity respectively while the null hypotheses were tested with t-test inferential statistics. Findings: The findings revealed that job satisfaction has a great influence on job commitment and value creation. Emphasis was laid on job characteristics such as autonomy, social and environmental factors such as recognition, and appropriate rewards of academics with exceptional skills for value creation as well as motivation by management. Implications & Recommendations: Ingenious academics that are highly talented and gifted should complement affective commitment with continuance commitment and demonstrate their creative prowess and ingenuity to create values for the organization. Also, management should ensure that academics with exceptional work skills are properly rewarded, recognized, and motivated to guarantee their retention, absolute commitment, and effective work performance. Contribution & Value Added: These results provide an overview of the challenges of job satisfaction and poor motivation that could affect their value creation

Tujuan adanya program ini adalah untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan keterampilan para pendidik Madrasah Tsanawitah Amal Muslimin Bantrung dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran menggunakan powerpoint interaktif. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Langkah-langkahnya meliputi sosialisasi, penyampaian materi, pelatihan, pendampingan dan evaluasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama satu hari mulai dari penyampaian materi, pelatihan pendampingan hingga evaluasi. Peserta juga memberikan kritik dan saran di akhir pertemuan. Hasil yang diperoleh peserta pelatihan mampu membuat media pembelajaran powerpoint interaktif. Respon dari para peserta pelatihan melalui google form mereka merespon positif adanya pelatihan ini, peserta juga memberikan masukan untuk kegiatan seperti ini hendaknya setiap peserta diberikan modul sebagai pandua

Program pengabdian ini dilakukan di TK Raudlatuth Thullab, TK Pertiwi Kedung Malang, dan RA Al Halimiyah, ketiganya berlokasi di Kedung Malang, Kedung, Jepara. Tujuan program ini adalah: (1) memperluas pengetahuan serta wawasan terkait PAUD Holistik Integratif, memperkaya perbendaharan perancangan APE, (2) memberikan wawasan mengenai desain dan editing melalui media aplikasi Canva yang dapat meningkatkan kreatifitas guru, dan (3) memberikan pengetahuan serta wawasan terkait merancang RPPM dan RPPH merdeka belajar, serta model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan anak, adapun tahapan metode penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu meliputi: persiapan, sosialisasi, pendampingan pelatihan, dan evaluasi program. Get PDFProgram pengabdian ini bermitra dengan SD N 3 Dudakawu Jepara. Dari hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan guru diketahui bahwa siswa kelas 6 SD N 3 Dudakawu mengalami kendala pada keterampilan berbicara setelah 2 tahun melaksanakan pembelajaran secara daring. Hal ini ditandai dengan siswa kurang aktif dan cenderung hanya diam saat interaksi pembelajaran dengan guru di kelas. Adapun tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan media flashcard pada guru dan siswa serta untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas 6. Kemudian, metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode lecturing dan tanya jawab. Penulis memberikan pendampingan pada guru dan siswa untuk membuat dan menerapkan media flashcard. Untuk mengukur kemajuan keterampilan bicara siswa, penulis menggunakan teknik observasi dan angket. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah keterampilan berbicara siswa dapat meningkat secara dignifikan. Siswa menjadi aktif dan antusias dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Lebih lanjut, dari kuesioner diketahui bahwa 100% siswa menyatakan lebih berani dan percaya diri saat berbicara di depan kelas.
