    Islamic Economic Ethics and Relevance in Era Global Capitalism : Study of Interpretation Verses of Commerce

    Analyze the relevance of Islamic economic ethics in the practice of buying and selling in the era of global capitalism, focusing on the study of the interpretation of verses related to buying and selling transactions in the Qur'an. This study uses a normative interpretation approach and contemporary analysis of verses that talk about buying and selling, in surah Al-Baqoroh 198, Al-Baqarah verse 275, Al-Baqoroh 282 and An-Nisa 29. In addition, this study also assesses how the principles of Islamic economics can be applied in the context of modern capitalism which often prioritizes maximum profit and individualism. The results of the study show that Islamic economic ethics that prioritize justice, transparency, and social balance are still very relevant to be applied in the current global economic system. Principles such as the prohibition of usury, gharar (uncertainty), and tyranny in buying and selling can be the basis for transactions that are fairer and do not harm certain parties. The conclusion of this study is that the application of Islamic economic ethics in the practice of buying and selling can provide alternative solutions to overcome economic inequality caused by global capitalism, as well as support the creation of more equitable and sustainable welfare for society as a whole

    His study will examine how the rule of isti'arah is applied in Surah Ibrahim verse 1 as taught in the book Tafsir Al-Mishbah by Quraish Shihab. This study is critical because the rules of isti'arah in the science of balaghah play an essential role in increasing our awareness of the beauty of the language of the Qur'an and the divine meanings contained in it. Surah Ibrahim verse 1 was chosen as a case study because this verse includes a complex linguistic style, thus offering deep insight into the use of isti'arah in conveying deep spiritual meaning. This verse uses the metaphor of al-nur (light) to symbolize faith and divine guidance, whereas al-zhulumat (darkness) represents disbelief and error. This study uses a descriptive-qualitative method with a focus on textual analysis. Data was obtained through a literature review of the book Tafsir Al-Mishbah and other references relevant to the science of balaghah. The results of the study show that Quraish Shihab in Tafsir Al-Mishbah provides a profound interpretation of isti'arah by identifying that this verse not only beautifies the arrangement of words but also strengthens the message about the prophetic mission and divine values. Isti'arah in Surah Ibrahim verse 1 is an expressive tool that connects literal and figurative meanings to clarify moral and theological messages. This study shows that the balangha approach, especially the isti'arah principle, is critical in revealing the beauty and depth of the meaning of the Qur'an and is relevant for use in contemporary interpretation studies

    The word ummah generally means a group, community or nation united by religious beliefs and practices. In the Qur'an ummah has been mentioned 64 times in twenty-five surahs with two kinds of forms (singular and plural) and different meanings. The meaning of ummah is not limited to humans alone but is also used to refer to certain groups, such as religions, times, places or animals. The term is even used for a flock of birds, as in surah al-An'am (6): 38. In this meaning, it illustrates a new insight into the existence of brotherhood among humans in this world. Therefore, it is necessary to study more deeply to find out these meanings in tafsir ibnu katsir, because it is a classic tafsir patterned bil-ma'tsur, namely the interpretation of the Qur'an with the Qur'an, the interpretation of the Qur'an with hadith, the interpretation of the Qur'an with the words of the companions and tabi'in. This interpretation is critical and verification, with an emphasis on strict evaluation of the validity of the hadith sanad used. The explanation is comprehensive, covering linguistic, historical, and theological aspects, as well as providing a rich context through the causes of the revelation of the verse (asbabun nuzul). Ibn Kathir remains loyal to the principles of ahlus sunnah wal jamaah, maintains the purity of Islamic teachings, and integrates various disciplines in his interpretation, making this work the main reference in authentic and in-depth Qur'anic studies. This research is library research. The primary source is taken from Ibn Kathir's tafsir. Meanwhile, the secondary sources come from books, journals, scientific papers relevant to the theme of discussion

    Artikel ini mendalami dua konsep mendasar dalam ilmu tafsir Al-Quran, yakni kaedah mutlaq (interpretasi umum) dan kaedah muqoyyad (interpretasi terbatas). Fokus artikel adalah untuk menjelaskan perbedaan esensial antara kedua kaedah ini serta bagaimana mereka diterapkan dalam pemahaman teks-teks Al-Quran. Metode penelitian melibatkan analisis mendalam terhadap literatur tafsir klasik dan kontemporer yang membahas aspek-aspek kaedah ini. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kaedah mutlaq memberikan interpretasi yang luas dan universal, sedangkan kaedah muqoyyad memberikan interpretasi yang lebih terfokus dan situasional, sesuai dengan konteks spesifik dalam teks Al-Quran. Artikel ini tidak hanya menguraikan perbedaan teoretis antara kedua kaedah tersebut, tetapi juga mengilustrasikan bagaimana pemahaman yang tepat terhadap mereka dapat memperkaya interpretasi Al-Quran secara keseluruhan

Karena lokasinya yang sentral dan relatif stabil, kota Basrah menarik banyak sarjana yang cermat dalam memilih teks dan idiom Arab untuk dijadikan landasan norma tata bahasa. Berbeda dengan mazhab Kufah yang lebih mudah dibentuk, yang mengambil inspirasi dari pengamatan terhadap pembicaraan umum, mazhab Basrah terkenal dengan pendekatan logis dan analitisnya. Dari Abul Aswad Ad-Duali hingga Al-Mubarrad dan seterusnya, mazhab Basrah menghasilkan norma-norma tata bahasa yang ketat dan dapat diterapkan. Maka dari itu, penulis menjadikan perbedaan dari kedua isim tadi sebagai pokok pembahasan dalam jurnal ini. Dalam penyusunan jurnal ini penulis menggunakan pendekatan kajian pustaka, yang mana penulis mengumpulkan berbagai sumber data baik dari artikel maupun buku yang terkait dengan tema jurnal ini. Selain itu, penulis juga menggunakan metode kualitatif komparatif, yaitu menganalisis data untuk dapat menemukan persamaan dan perbedaan dari tema yang kami angkat.     This study aims to determine the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in instilling the character values of students to find out the methods, supporting and inhibiting factors faced in instilling character values at SD Negeri 004 Sei Sialang, especially class VI.  This type of research is Field Reasearch, which is research that requires researchers to go to the 'field' to make observations about a phenomenon in a natural situation. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection methods are interviews, observation and documentation. While the data analysis technique used is inductive through data reduction, data presentation (data display) and conclusions (verification). The conclusion obtained is that the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in instilling character values in students can be through group activities with the hope of applying the character of discipline and responsibility. In addition, the application of 7s (smile, greeting, greeting, politeness, courtesy, patience and gratitude). Methods used in instilling character values can be through exemplary methods, advice methods, demonstration methods, and discussion methods. Supporting factors in instilling character values are supporting facilities and infrastructure and storytelling media, while inhibiting factors in instilling character values include parents' busyness, the environment, and mass media. Furthermore, the solution to overcome obstacles in instilling character values is giving assignments and cooperation between teachers and parents.&nbsp
