Digital Community Social Capital: Case Study on Increasing the Popularity of Millennial Youtubers in Makassar City
Get PDFOne of the global developments that is fast and has quite an impact on the pattern of people's lives is developments in the field of technology and information, namely through the internet. YouTube has become an internet media that is in demand by various audiences around the world. Disbursing youtube adsense is fairly complicated, but the work as a youtuber is currently in great demand by Millennials. Youtuber is a new job that is synonymous with Millennials in this 4.0 industrial era. This study aims to determine the use of social capital trust by youtubers in increasing popularity, as well as to determine the use of social capital linking youtubers in increasing popularity. This study uses a qualitative approach, with informants namely millennial youtubers who live in the city of Makassar. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation, with data analysis techniques using: data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study show that trust social capital is widely used by youtubers to increase their popularity, in this case increasing the number of subscribers and viewers on their youtube channel. Many YouTubers use social capital linking or networks to increase the number of subscribers and viewers. The social capital of the network used is by utilizing the friendship and community of YouTubers in the process of designing content, taking videos, editing to uploading videos and socializing YouTube channels in order to minimize the cost of managing YouTube channels for YouTuber
The attitudes of Teachers of Learning Disabilities in English Language Toward Using Virtual classes to Teach English Writing
Get PDFThis study investigated the attitudes of teachers of learning disabilities in English toward the use of virtual classrooms and e-learning in teaching writing skills to students with learning disabilities. The study adopted the descriptive approach and was applied to a sample of 65 teachers from Irbid city, Jordan. A questionnaire was developed to achieve this purpose after being checked for validity and reliability. The results showed that teachers’ attitudes toward virtual classes varied between high and moderate. For the realm of e-learning in general, the attitudes were high while for the realm of the effect of virtual classes in teaching writing skills were moderate. The study recommended providing intensive training to teachers of LDs in English language on the usages of e-learning and supporting teachers and students with the appropriate tool
Determinant Factors Affecting Intention of Child Marriage to Adolescents in Banggai Laut
Get PDFThis study aims to look at the determinant factors that affect the intense / intention to do child marriage to adolescents in Banggai Laut. This research method using a cross sectional study. The research sample consisted of 192 teenage students in SMA Negeri 1 Banggai and SMA Negeri 2 Banggai. Chi-square test and multiple logistic regression were used to analyze the data. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was an effect of attitude, family drive and behavior control on the intention to do child marriage (p <0.05). The results of the multivariate analysis showed that there was only one variable that had a p value <0.05, namely the family drive variable with p = 0.029. From exp (B) = 4,871> 1 is a risk factor and the Cl value is 95% more than 1 (1,178-20,142) so that OR is significant. This means that respondents who are influenced by family encouragement have a risk of 4,871 times having the intention of engaging in child marriage. It can be concluded that there are many factors that can influence adolescents in engaging in child marriage. All levels of society should protect children together and stop the practice of child marriage in society. The smallest and closest family unit for the child should be able to protect it, not be the main factor that encourages underage marriage
Analysis of Quarantine Service Quality on Ship Crew Satisfaction during the Covid-19 Pandemic at Belawan Sea Port
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the quality of quarantine services on ship crew satisfaction during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Belawan Sea port. This study is a quantitative study with a cross sectional method which aims to analyze the quality of quarantine services on satisfaction during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Belawan Sea Port using the ServQual approach which consists of physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The results of the study are expected to provide input regarding the quality of quarantine services provided by the Class I Medan KKP to ship crews during the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the ServQual analysis, the results show that the satisfaction of the crew of the quarantine service at Belawan Port is very satisfying with a suitability level of 107.56% (the average service / reality score is 4.00 and the expectation score is 3.72). It is suggested to improve coordination and more intensive advocacy with shipping agents as intermediaries between officers and skippers as crew so as to reduce the length of service waiting time, in order to increase the number of human resources carrying out document checks on board, involving female medical officers for health checks The crew who came from affected countries/ports to facilitate information retrieval, ordered the boarding officers to bring Personal Protective Equipment when interacting with the crew

The results showed that each stage of vaccine development received high appreciation from stock investors, especially after vaccine candidates passed clinical trials in humans. Investors' positive sentiment towards the vaccine program boosted stock market performance. However, the sentiment of this vaccine cannot stand alone, it needs government policy support to truly restore market confidence in the recovery of social and economic conditions, including the stock market. Impact of Interest Loan, Growth of Regional Gross Domestic Product, Inflation and Economic Growth on Loans at Credit Union in West Kalimantan, Indonesia
Get PDF Loans or credits offered by Kopdit credit unions are a potential source of funds that need to be developed, to help accelerate the home industry and the micro and small economies. Therefore, we want to see the impact of several conditions such as the loan interest rate, GDP per capita growth, inflation rate and economic growth. Quite a number of studies have looked at the impact of interest rates, GDP growth, inflation rates and economic growth on loans or credits to banks or banking institutions. We do not look at credit or loans from banks, but on Kopdit credit unions (CU). The results of our research show that simultaneously the loan interest rate, GDP growth, inflation rate and economic growth have a strong enough influence on loans at Credit Union Credit Unions, namely 79.2454%. Partially the variable of loan interest rate, GDP growth per capita, inflation rate affects outstanding loans, while economic growth partially has no effect on outstanding loans
Analysis of Mixed Method of the Effect of Dating Status on Sexual Behavior in Adolescents Grade XI at SMAXYZ Medan
Get PDFSexual behavior is any behavior that is driven by sexual desire, whether done alone, with the opposite sex or of the same sex, from feeling attracted, dating, flirting, and having sex. Dating status and sexual behavior are closely related. The increasing age of dating adolescents has an impact on increasing opportunities for sexual behavior. This study aimed to analyze the effect of dating status on sexual behavior in Grade XI at SMA XYZ Medan in 2020.This research was mixed method. The population was 413 adolescents, the sample used accidental sampling technique. For quantitative, there are 80 teenagers, including 39 boys and 41 girls. And 6 qualitative informants including teenagers who are dating, peers and teachers. Quantitative data were analyzed by using statistical tests with univariate, bivariate and triangulation. The results showed that the cross-tabulation value of the effect of dating status on sexual behavior in adolescents was p (0.000) <α (.05). There was an effect of dating status on sexual behavior in adolescents. Based on the qualitative results, the key informants stated that they were dating and had committed various sexual behaviors with their boyfriends, while the supporting informants, namely peers, stated that they were close friends with the key informants, knew the dating status and had seen sexual behavior carried out by the key informants.The conclusion that sexual behavior in adolescents at SMA XYZ was found. It is hoped that adolescents will maintain a friendly environment in social interactions and be more active in positive activities, so that unbeneficial activities such as those related to dating and sexual behavior can be avoided
Implementation of The Internet of Things for Monitoring The Company's Electrical Power Consumption
Get PDFThis research aims to design an electric panel monitoring system using the Internet of Things technology in company buildings so that consumers can monitor real-time electricity consumption. The energy consumption monitoring method that we propose uses PM2100 by implementing a real-time monitoring function of the power consumption of a 3-phase electric panel. The monitoring system implementation results show that the value is very close to measuring the digital multimeter measuring instrument. The monitoring system produces a current measurement accuracy of 97.38% with an error of 2.62%, while the 3-phase voltage measurement error is 0.616%. This system design helps companies obtain information faster to be considered data to improve efficiency in the Company

The Relationship Between Reading Interest and Figurative Language Mastery With Short Story Writing Skills
Get PDFThis study aims to (1) prove a significant relationship between short story writing skills and reading interest. (2) proves a significant relationship between short story writing skills and mastery of figurative language. This type of research is quantitative research and the research design used is an expost facto correlational design. The data of this research are numerical data/nominal scores of interest in reading, mastery of figurative language and short story writing skills. Data collection techniques, namely questionnaire data to collect information on reading interest, multiple choice test data, and data on the assignment of writing short stories. The data analysis technique uses statistics that aim to determine the relationship between variables. The results obtained indicate that the results of the questionnaire analysis of students' reading interest get the category level with the highest frequency, which is in the high category. The results of the analysis of students' mastery of figurative language got the category level with the highest frequency, which was in the medium category. The results of the analysis of students' short story writing skills got the category level with the highest frequency, which was in the high category. There is a significant relationship between the variable of reading interest and short story writing skills with a significance value of 0.002 with a correlation coefficient of 0.437, therefore the value of sig. <0.05 indicates a moderate positive relationship between reading interest and short story writing skills. There is a significant relationship between the variable mastery of figurative language and short story writing skills with a significance value of 0.002 with a correlation coefficient of 0.437, therefore the value of sig. <0.05 indicates a moderate positive relationship between mastery of figurative language and short story writing skill
