The Contribution of the Tourism Sector to the Regional Original Income of Maros Regency as a Favorite Tourism Destination
Get PDFThe purpose of the study was to determine what percentage of Maros Regency's overall revenue may be attributable to the tourism sector in the area, and to compute that percentage. For the purpose of this analysis, a methodology known as descriptive quantitative research was used. Quantifiable information was able to be extracted from the plethora of interconnected sources as a direct consequence of this. The results of this study indicate that the tourism business provides a significant contribution to the revenue of the towns that are situated within the Maros region. The huge number of travelers, both domestic and foreign, is evidence that the tourism industry, which includes the Rammang-Rammang Destination, is a popular tourist destination. This is shown by the high number of tourists
Behavioral Patterns and Professional Attributes of Filipino Subject Teachers in Relation to Students’ Performance: None
Get PDFThe study generally aimed to determine the behavioral patterns and professional attributes of Filipino subject teachers in relation to students’ performance in selected secondary schools in Area III, Leyte Division. A standardized questionnaire was used to gather information from the Filipino subject teachers regarding their behavioral patterns and professional attributes in relation to the students’ performance. The data were analysed and interpreted with the aid of the statistical tool. Weighted mean was used in determining the behavioral patterns of Filipino subject teachers. As a result of the survey conducted data gathered were the following: Professional attributes of Filipino subject teachers in terms of educational attainment, majority had earned MA units; as to teaching experience, they have rendered 10-14 years; and relative to in-service training, majority of them attended at the division level. With regards to the behavioral patterns of Filipino subject teachers as evaluated by the students, it was perceived good. Further, on the level of students’ performance, they were rated satisfactory performance

Get PDFThe aims of this research are; (1) Describe the form of cultural signs in the novel Toraja; When Love Finds its Way Home based on Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic theory. (2) Describe the meaning of cultural signs in the novel Toraja; When Love Finds Its Way Home. This research is a qualitative research. The data in this study are data obtained from novels in the form of icons, indexes and symbols as well as data obtained from interviews. Sources of data in this study is a novel entitled Toraja; When Love Finds its Way Home by Endang, SSN, and also an informant who is the head of the Ke'te Kesu' tradition in North Toraja. The data collection technique used in this study is a documentation technique which includes observing and recording the various signs that are needed, as well as using open interview techniques. The results of this study indicate that the form of the sign is more dominant in the novel Toraja; When Love Finds its Way Home is a symbol consisting of five data. In addition to symbols, researchers also found signs in the form of icons (one data) and indexes (two data). As we know that based on his criteria, Pierce distinguishes signs into three, namely icons, indexes and symbols
Inhibiting Factors for Implementing Family Hope Program Policies in Bone-Bone District, North Luwu Regency
Get PDFThis study aims to determine and analyse what factors hinder efforts to improve community welfare in Bone-Bone sub-district, North Luwu district. This study uses a qualitative method. The data was collected by means of observation, interviews, online data searching and documentation. The results showed that the factor that hindered efforts to improve community welfare in Bone-Bone District, North Luwu Regency, namely the implementation of socialization at the sub-district and village levels was very low. The sub-district PKH Implementing Unit Secretariat office still uses the sub-district office space. Appointment of PKH implementation staff in the form of sub-district coordinators, assistant staff and computer operators is entirely the responsibility of the Ministry of Social Affairs without involving the local government. There are no incentives or operational funds for facilitators in the field, making it difficult for facilitators to be present at all times in PKH recipient communities. The factors that support PKH activities are the availability of assistants and operators at the sub-district level. There are general guidelines for implementing PKH activities. Behavior and Participation of Marginal Communities in the Implementation of Health Protocols in Facing the Covid-19 Pandemic (Cases in Coastal Areas and Small Islands, West Lombok Regency)
Get PDFThe context of this research emphasizes the issue of implementing the Covid-19 health protocol associated with the behaviour and participation of marginalized communities in coastal areas and small islands. This study aims to determine the behaviour (knowledge, attitudes/beliefs, compliance with actions) and the level of participation of marginalized communities in the implementation of the Covid-19 health protocol. This research was conducted using a survey technique carried out in the coastal area and small islands of West Lombok Regency. Data was collected by means of interviews, in-depth interviews and non-participatory observations. The descriptive analysis for behavioral variables includes 3 (three) indicators, namely: knowledge, attitudes and beliefs, and compliance with the Covid-19 health protocol. For the level of participation, descriptive analysis was carried out in 4 (four) stages, namely: planning, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance / development stages. The results of the study show: (1) the behavior of marginalized communities is in the low category (not good). The knowledge of marginalized communities regarding the Covid-19 Health protocol is high (good), but the attitude/belief and appropriateness of action towards the implementation of the Covid-19 Health Protocol is in the low category. (2) The participation of marginalized communities as a whole is in the low category. The lowest level of participation was at the program evaluation stage, followed later by participation at the planning, implementation and maintenance/development stages of the Covid-19 health protocol
Implementation of Management of Pulmonary Tuberculosis with the Directly Observed Treatment Short course Strategy
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of pulmonary TB disease management with the DOTS strategy at the Jagong Health Center, Central Aceh Regency.The implementation of Pulmonary TB Management with the DOTS (Directly Observed Treatment Shortcourse) strategy in the working area of the Jagong Health Center, Central Aceh Regency has been maximized. by facilitating and providing motivation so that patients want treatment in a complete and integrated manner, case detection can be carried out by health workers or cadres who have been given training to recognize the symptoms of pulmonary TB. The distribution of drugs is distributed to each puskesmas in Central Aceh Regency, from the Puskesmas the drugs are arranged directly by P2TB officers then given directly to the PMO or the patient himself. PMO performance has never been given special training about treatment, PMO only received direction from P2TB Pulmonary officers. Recording and reporting carried out at the Jagong Health Center includes case finding, treatment, and recovery. Suspected pulmonary TB will be recorded and then monitored until the results of the examination have been obtained. Recording and reporting will be reported every month in a meeting at the Central Aceh District Health Office. For the Central Aceh Regency government to further enhance the development and improvement of infrastructure in the health sector so that health services are more easily accessible to people in remote areas
Marketing Mix Analysis on Outpatient Satisfaction at Medan Haji General Hospital

Professional and good hospital services to patients will benefit the hospital and have an impact on the increasing number of patient visits for treatment at the hospital. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the mix of pice, place, people and process with patient satisfaction at the hospital. General Hajj Medan. This study uses a quantitative method with a cross sectional design, with a sample of 74 respondents. This research uses a questionnaire.The research time is February-November 2021 as a follow-up to the end of the research. The analysis of this study used Univariate, Bivariate and Multivariate. The statistical test used is the chi square test and longistic regression. The results of the study regarding the effect of Price (P-value 0.002), Place (P-value 0.007), People (P-value 0.006), Process (P-value 0.002), based on binary linear regression test price, place, people and process are variables which affects the satisfaction of outpatients at the Medan Haji General Hospital. The conclusion in this study shows that there is a significant influence between linear price, place, people and process with outpatient satisfaction at the Medan Haji General Hospital. related to effective patient management), providing cost leeway for underprivileged patients, compiling an organizational structure according to duties and education as well as adjusting the hospital organizational structure to the type of Medan Haji Hospital

The data of this study are natural texts in the form of transcripts of women's legislators' speeches in political discourse that contain the construction of power. The data sources for this research are phrases, clauses, or inter-paragraphs that contain the unity of ideas and ideas that were transcribed from video recordings that aired on the Tribun Timur media youtube channel throughout 2021. This study proves that a female politician is able to exercise power through her speech. The power of the female legislator in South Sulawesi is the implication of the position of the South Sulawesi DPRD as a legislative body that has a control function, budgeting function, and the function of making regional regulations to the executive and the people of South Sulawesi.
