The Relationship Between Students’ Perception of Lecturers’ Sense of Humor and Learning Motivation Among Students at UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh
Learning motivation refers to the overall driving force within students that initiates, sustains, and directs learning activities, ensuring the continuity of the learning process and guiding it toward achieving desired goals. According to Sadirman (2013), learning motivation plays an important role in determining the rise and fall of academic performance. This study aims to examine the relationship between students’ learning motivation and lecturers’ sense of humor among students at UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. The instruments used in this study were the Lecturers’ Sense of Humor Scale, developed based on the theory of Thorson and Powell (1997), and the Learning Motivation Scale, developed based on the theory of Santrock (2004). The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method, and sampling was conducted using the stratified random sampling technique. The total sample consisted of 348 students. The results showed a correlation coefficient (r) = 0.259 with a significance value (p) = 0.000, indicating a significant positive relationship between students’ learning motivation and lecturers’ sense of humor at UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. This means that the higher the lecturers’ sense of humor, the higher the students’ learning motivation, and conversely, the lower the lecturers’ sense of humor, the lower the students’ learning motivation
Penerapan Model Demonstrasi pada Pembelajaran PAI Materi Fardhu Kifayah dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas XI IPA SMAS PLUS Muhammadiyah di Subulussalam
This study aims to examine the application of the demonstration model in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) with a focus on Fardhu Kifayah material and its impact on improving student learning outcomes in class XI Science at SMAS Plus Muhammadiyah in Subulussalam. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with three cycles. The research data were obtained through observation, written tests, and document analysis. The demonstration model is applied in each cycle with structured steps and actively involves students in the practice of Fardhu Kifayah. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of the demonstration model. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the demonstration model in PAI learning Fardhu Kifayah material can provide positive benefits in improving student learning outcomes. This model allows students to see and experience Fardhu Kifayah\u27s practice firsthand, which helps increase students\u27 understanding, skills, and motivation in carrying out the ritual
Dewey’s Philosophy and Thoughts An analysis of the Compatible Applied on Islamic Education
The study\u27s objective is to analyze the philosophy of John Dewey and its potential application in Islamic education. It aims to explore whether Dewey\u27s ideas, which emphasize the role of experience in shaping human ideals and concepts, can harmonize with the Islamic philosophy of education, centered on the integration of senses, intellect, and religious faith to realize human values. The study will evaluate the compatibility of Dewey\u27s emphasis on critical thinking and personal autonomy with Islamic teachings, which also recognize the significance of knowledge, science, and progress in improving human life. Wherever any ideas are found to be incompatible with Islamic education, the study will provide suggestions on how to improve or replace them to maintain the alignment with Islamic principles. Ultimately, the goal is to enrich Islamic education through a nuanced understanding of Dewey\u27s philosophy and identify ways to bridge the gap between the two educational approaches, fostering a better human existence through continuous engagement and transformation of reality
The Relationship Between Hardiness and Career Adaptability Among Twelfth-Grade Vocational High School Students in Banda Raya District, Banda Aceh
Hardiness among twelfth-grade vocational high school students can help them face and anticipate challenges related to career adaptability. When students lack hardiness in developing the willingness to engage in career development tasks, their level of career adaptability tends to be low, which may significantly affect their future. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between hardiness and career adaptability among twelfth-grade students of Vocational High Schools in Banda Raya District, Banda Aceh. This study employed a quantitative approach using a correlational method. The instruments used were the Hardiness Scale, developed based on aspects adapted from the scale by Lutfi, Jasmadi, and Nova, and the Career Adaptability Scale by Savickas. The population consisted of 782 students, with a sample of 243 students selected through probability sampling using the cluster (area) sampling technique. The results of data analysis showed a correlation coefficient (r) = 0.886 with a significance value (p) = 0.000, indicating a highly significant positive relationship between hardiness and career adaptability among the students. This means that the higher the level of hardiness, the higher the level of career adaptability; conversely, the lower the hardiness, the lower the career adaptability among twelfth-grade vocational students in Banda Raya District, Banda Ace
Hubungan Antara Persepsi Pola Asuh Demokratis Orang Tua Dengan Citra Diri (Self Image) Pada Mahasiswi Pengguna Khimar di UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh
Pemakaian khimar yang berbeda-beda dikalangan mahasiswi UIN Ar-Raniry membentuk citra diri masing-masing.Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi citra diri adalah orang tua.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan persepsi pola asuh demokratis dengan citra diri (self-image) pada mahasiswi pengguna khimar.Metode yang digunakan adalah korelasional,Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswi yang menempuh pendidikan di UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh dengan berjumlah 260 mahasiswi.Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling .Penelitian ini menggunakan skala psikologi berupa Skala Likert yang terdiri atas dua skala yaitu, skala pola asuh demokratis 25 butir aitem (α = 0,923.) dan skala citra diri 16 butir aitem (α = 0, 870).Analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi rho (ρ) dari Spearman. Hasil penelitian ini memperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi rho (ρ) = 0,342 dengan p = 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang berarti bahwa adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara persepsi pola asuh demokratis orang tua dengan citra diri (self-image) pada mahasiswi yang menggunakan khimar sehingga hipotesis diterima. Semakin tinggi persepsi pola asuh demokratis orangtua, maka semakin tinggi citra diri pada mahasiswi pengguna khimar di UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh
Kontribusi Nilai-Nilai Thariqat Naqshabandiyah pada Pembinaan Akhlak Santri Pondok Pesantren Darul Muta’allimin Kabupaten Aceh Singkil
This article aims to describe the contribution of the values of Tariqat Naqshabandiyah in fostering the morals of students at the Darul Muta\u27allimin Islamic Boarding School, Aceh Singkil District. To describe the problem in depth and thoroughly, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive method, then the data was described, analyzed and discussed to answer the problem. From the results of the study it was found that students and congregations from the community who had attended khalwat suluk argued that practicing the Naqsayabandiyah Order could change their behavior in a better direction and welcomed the khalwat suluk worship held at the Darul Muta\u27allimin Islamic Boarding School in Aceh Singkil, where the goal is to get closer to Allah, is good and does not interfere, because the social relations of the khalwat congregation with the community are maintained, because the purpose of suluk activities in the Naqsyabandiyah Tariqat is noble to get the pleasure of Allah swt. so the benefits are peace of mind, always remembering Allah\u27s commands and all His prohibitions, so that students and residents consider this activity very positive, because all things that have a good purpose to get closer to Allah will get good results too.
 
Pembinaan Karakter Toleransi Siswa SMP Negeri 1 Sultan Daulat
This study aims to: 1) Know the concept of fostering the character of tolerance for students of SMP N 1 Sultan Daulat, Subulussalam City. 2) Knowing the implementation of tolerance character building for students of SMP N 1 Sultan Daulat, Subulussalam City. 3) Find out the follow-up of tolerance development for students of SMP N 1 Sultan Daulat, Subulussalam City. In this study, researchers used a qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques used are: Observation, Interview, Study documentation, Focus groups, Participation. The results of this study are: The results of this conclusion are: 1) The concept of fostering the character of tolerance which is applied in SMP Negeri 1 Sultan Daulat, includes: Values Education, Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue, Project-Based Learning joint problem groups, Simulations and Games Roles between students, Community Service Program, Development of Social Awareness, Collaborative Learning by Encouraging students to work together among students in groups, Excellence-Based Learning. 2) The application of tolerance character development for SMP N 1 Sultan Daulat students is not an obstacle in the application of the values of religious education. Teachers have a high awareness to respect students\u27 religious differences and try to understand their needs in learning. Teachers also strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students, regardless of their religion or background. 3) Follow-up to fostering the character of tolerance for students of Sultan Daulat 1 Public Middle School can be carried out through several steps and activities, including: Implementation of Tolerance Values in the Curriculum, Formation of Tolerance Committees, Teacher Training Providing training and coaching to teachers, Extracurricular Activities and Projects Tolerance, Conducting outreach and campaigns in the school environment, Leadership Development, Conducting periodic evaluations of the results and impacts of tolerance character building carried out
Pemenuhan Hak Istri yang Dipenjara dalam Konsepsi Hukum Islam (Studi Kasus Narapidana Hamil di Lembaga Permasyarakatan Perempuan Kelas II B Sigli)
In Islam, husbands have the responsibility to fulfill the rights of their families. However, in the context of convicts, the implementation of these rights can become more complicated due to the limitations imposed by imprisonment. The objectives of this research are: first, to analyze the rights of pregnant wives who are convicted and imprisoned at the Class II B Sigli Women\u27s Correctional Institution in Pidie Subdistrict, Pidie Regency, based on the perspective of Islamic law; and second, to analyze the fulfillment of husbands\u27 obligations towards pregnant convicts at the Class II B Sigli Women\u27s Correctional Institution in Pidie Subdistrict, Pidie Regency. This study adopts an empirical legal research approach (non-doctrinal research). Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings of this research resulted in two main outcomes: First, the determination of the obligation to provide financial support for pregnant wives in prison is mandatory due to their pregnancy. Second, the fulfillment of the rights of imprisoned wives by their husbands, as stipulated in the conception of Islamic law, is still not fully achieved. This is due to the husbands\u27 incarceration. Based on these findings, it is recommended to establish regulations regarding the fulfillment of the rights of imprisoned wives by convict husbands. This would involve the cooperation between correctional institutions, authorities, and religious institutions in facilitating easier and more accessible access for convict husbands to fulfill the rights of their imprisoned wives
Dampak Adopsi QRIS Pada UMKM Sektor Food and Beverage Di Banda Aceh
Advances in information technology have driven transformations in payment systems, and the COVID-19 pandemic serves as a catalyst for the financial services industry worldwide to accelerate shifts in payment systems toward cashless payment systems. Ironically, a preliminary study conducted among MSMEs in the food and beverage (F&B) sector in Banda Aceh indicated that utilization of QRIS is considerably low, with only 20% indicating that the intensity of customer transactions through QRIS is rated medium to high and 80% indicating low intensity. This phenomenon drove this study to investigate the impact and challenges associated with utilizing QRIS as an alternative payment system in the F&B industry in Banda Aceh. We investigated this issue employing a descriptive qualitative approach, and data was collected on MSME owners in the designated industry in Banda Aceh by performing observation, interviews, and documentation. Afterwards, the collected data were analyzed using Nvivo 12. According to the findings of this study, adopting QRIS in the payment system increases the ease of transaction, business operational efficiency, and rapid access to transaction data. However, the adoption of QRIS among MSMEs in (F&B) industry in Banda Aceh is relatively low. Some challenges in adopting QRIS have lagged interconnectivity between payment aggregators, disrupting the transaction process and delaying customer transaction payments. During hectic seasons such as weekends, national holidays, and religious holiday, the intensity of these technical obstacles frequently increases. Aside from that, public awareness and acceptance of electronic payment transactions remain low due to city dwellers’ lack of digital financial literacy
Strategi Pembinaan Aqidah dan Akhlak pada Anak Disabilitas (Tunagrahita) di SLB Kota Banda Aceh
Intellectually disabled children are children who have an intelligence level that is below average and has difficulty in adapting their behavior as they grow. SLB TNCC Banda Aceh is a special education program that aims to support the development and expression of the potential of students with special needs, including developing aqidah and morals. Therefore, the role of school principals and teachers is crucial in developing the faith and morals of children, especially tunagrahita children. The aims of the research are: 1) to find out strategies for fostering aqidah and morals in children with disabilities (Tunagrahita) at SLB TNCC Banda Aceh; 2) to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors for strategies for fostering faith and morals in children with disabilities (Tunagrahita) at SLB TNCC Banda Aceh. The research method used in this study is a descriptive-qualitative approach. The research subjects consisted of 7 people, namely: the principal, 2 class teachers and 4 mentally retarded children. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results found that 1) there are four strategies used by teachers in developing the aqidah and morals of tunagrahita children at SLB TNCC Banda Aceh City, those are through habituation, exemplary strategies, discipline strategies, and through mauidzah (giving advice) strategies. 2) There are several obstacles in the strategy of developing aqidah and morals for mentally retarded children at SLB TNCC Banda Aceh. Tunagrahita children are difficult to talk to because they are not very capable of speaking. Hence, the children prefer to remain silent, and it is also related to the background of the children, who come from a variety of different backgrounds and families, so they often bring behavioral patterns or traditions from the environment before they join the school. The solutions provided are: 1) Holding a meeting with the child\u27s parents; this aims to guide parents on the best way to support their children who have special needs for mental retardation. 2) Implement training and habituation strategies, because with the habituation strategies that are implemented, children continue to repeat or practice the habits they do.
