Optimisasi Parameter AGC (Automatic Generation Control) Pada Sistem Tenaga Listrik
Dengan meningkatnya integrasi sumber energi terbarukan dalam sistem pembangkitan listrik, strategi kontrol sistem tenaga kini semakin berkembang dengan menggabungkan masalah economic dispatch (EDP) dan automatic generation control (AGC) guna mencapai operasi yang lebih efisien secara ekonomi. Dalam studi ini, kami mengusulkan suatu algoritma baru yang dapat menentukan parameter AGC yang optimal dalam segi biaya pembangkitan. Untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pendekatan ini, simulasi numerik menggunakan MATLAB diterapkan guna menganalisis performa metode yang diusulkan dalam berbagai skenario operasional dan jenis sumber energi. Simulasi numerik menunjukkan bahwa algoritma baru yang diusulkan dapat menghasilkan operasi yang handal dalam meregulasi deviasi frekuensi. Selain itu, biaya operasi yang dihasilkan lebih kecil rata-rata 0,3% dibandingkan dengan biaya yang dihasilkan dengan parameter AGC pada sistem.Dengan meningkatnya integrasi sumber energi terbarukan dalam sistem pembangkitan listrik, strategi kontrol sistem tenaga kini semakin berkembang dengan menggabungkan economic dispatch problem (EDP) dan automatic generation control (AGC) guna mencapai operasi yang lebih efisien secara ekonomi. BETWEEN LAW AND LANGUAGE: MISTRANSLATION IN LOAN AGREEMENTS
Legal translation in financial technology (fintech) contracts demands high precision to preserve faithfulness, accuracy, consumer protection, and institutional integrity. This study investigates mistranslations in the English version of the Shopee Pinjam loan agreement, focusing on functional, lexical, and cultural distortions. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research compares the Indonesian source text with its English counterpart to identify translation errors. A total of 72 mistranslation cases were found: functional (41.7%), lexical (38.9%), and cultural (19.4%). These findings demonstrate that mistranslation in fintech loan agreements not only compromises legal clarity but also risks consumer misinterpretation of obligations and rights. The study contributes theoretically by extending Newmark’s typology of mistranslation into a real-world fintech context and practically by highlighting the need for domain-specific competence among translators. It recommends the development of standardized glossaries, regulatory oversight, and collaboration between linguists and legal practitioners to safeguard translation quality in consumer-facing financial contracts
EFEKTIVITAS DIRECT MARKETING DAN VOUCHER DISKON MELALUI LIVE STREAMING DALAM MENINGKATKAN REPURCHASE INTENTION PADA SHOPEE: (STUDI KASUS KONSUMEN SHOPEE KATEGORI FASHION DI KOTA DEPOK)
This research aims to determine and analyze the effectiveness of direct marketing and discount vouchers through live streaming in increasing repurchase intention on Shopee (a case study on Shopee consumers in the fashion category in Depok City). This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Primary data is collected using observation, direct interviews with relevant informants, and documentation. Secondary data collection is divided into two, namely internal data and external data. The data processing used in this research is source triangulation with data analysis techniques starting from data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. Effectiveness measurements include understanding, targeting accuracy, timeliness, goal achievement, and tangible changes. The research results show that direct marketing and discount vouchers have achieved effectiveness in increasing repurchase intention. This is evidenced by data obtained directly from consumers as informants that there has been a change in the number of transactions before and after the launch of the live- streaming feature. The results of the analysis of the effectiveness of direct marketing and discount vouchers in increasing repurchase intention on Shopee have met the effectiveness measurements, namely understanding, targeting accuracy, timeliness, goal achievement, and tangible changes.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis efektivitas direct marketing dan voucher diskon melalui live streaming dalam meningkatkan repurchase intention pada Shopee (studi kasus pada konsumen Shopee kategori fashion di Kota Depok). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan metode observasi, wawancara langsung dengan informan terkait, dan dokumentasi. Pengumpulan data sekunder dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu data internal dan data eksternal. Pengolahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu triangulasi sumber dengan teknik analisis data dimulai dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Pengukuran efektivitas meliputi pemahaman, tepat sasaran, tepat waktu, tercapainya tujuan, dan perubahan nyata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa direct marketing dan voucher diskon telah mencapai efektivitas dalam meningkatkan repurchase intention. Hal ini dapat ditunjukkan melalui data yang diperoleh langsung dari konsumen sebagai informan bahwa terjadi perubahan jumlah transaksi sebelum dan setelah diluncurkannya fitur live streaming. Hasil analisis efektivitas direct marketing dan voucher diskon dalam meningkatkan repurchase intention pada Shopee telah memenuhi pengukuran efektivitas, yaitu pemahaman, tepat sasaran, tepat waktu, tercapainya tujuan, dan perubahan nyata
ANALISIS DAYA SAING EKSPOR TEKSTIL INDONESIA KE AS MENGGUNAKAN REVEALED COMPARATIVE ADVANTAGE (RCA)
This research focuses on analyzing the competitiveness of Indonesian textile products in the United States market, one of the main export destinations for Indonesian textiles. The purpose of this study is to assess the comparative advantage of Indonesian textile products using the Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) method. The research employs secondary data obtained from sources such as the International Trade Centre’s Trade Map (2023), Ministry of Trade (2022), and Ministry of Industry (2023). The results of the RCA analysis reveal that several textile products, such as women’s knitted blouses and men’s suits, show high RCA values, indicating strong competitive advantages. However, challenges such as dependency on imported raw materials, inconsistent product quality, and limited innovation and research and development (R&D) hinder Indonesia's competitiveness in global markets. Furthermore, more than 70% of Indonesia's textile exports to the United States are channeled through intermediaries, reducing control over pricing and marketing strategies. This study recommends strategies to enhance Indonesia's textile competitiveness, such as reducing dependence on imported raw materials, improving product quality control, and increasing investment in innovation and R&D. Strengthening direct distribution networks to major markets like the United States and Europe is also essential for improving competitiveness.Penelitian ini difokuskan pada analisis daya saing produk tekstil Indonesia di pasar Amerika Serikat, salah satu tujuan ekspor utama produk tekstil Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai keunggulan komparatif produk tekstil Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA). Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari sumber-sumber seperti Trade Map dari International Trade Centre (2023), Kementerian Perdagangan (2022), dan Kementerian Perindustrian (2023). Hasil analisis RCA menunjukkan bahwa beberapa produk tekstil, seperti blus rajutan wanita dan jas pria, memiliki nilai RCA yang tinggi, yang mengindikasikan keunggulan komparatif yang kuat. Namun, tantangan seperti ketergantungan pada bahan baku impor, kualitas produk yang tidak konsisten, dan keterbatasan inovasi serta riset dan pengembangan (R&D) menghambat daya saing Indonesia di pasar global. Selain itu, lebih dari 70% ekspor tekstil Indonesia ke Amerika Serikat dilakukan melalui perantara, yang mengurangi kontrol atas penentuan harga dan strategi pemasaran. Penelitian ini menyarankan strategi untuk meningkatkan daya saing tekstil Indonesia, seperti mengurangi ketergantungan pada bahan baku impor, meningkatkan pengendalian kualitas produk, dan meningkatkan investasi dalam inovasi serta R&D. Penguatan jaringan distribusi langsung ke pasar utama seperti Amerika Serikat dan Eropa juga sangat penting untuk meningkatkan daya saing
Prediksi Kebutuhan Beras Dengan Metode Neural Network di Pulau Sumatera Indonesia
Rice is a strategic food commodity that provides more than 21% of global human caloric needs and up to 76% in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of rice production and consumption on the island of Sumatra, predict annual rice demand, identify the dominant factors affecting production, and determine the leading rice-producing provinces in Sumatra. The method employed is a Neural Network integrated with the CRISP-DM research methodology to predict annual rice demand, identify key production factors, and determine the top rice-producing provinces. This study uses a dataset from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) covering the years 1993–2020, consisting of six variables: province, year, production, harvested area, rainfall, humidity, and average temperature. The results show that harvested area is the most dominant factor influencing rice production across all provinces in Sumatra. The provinces with the highest rice production are Lampung, South Sumatra, and West Sumatra. The Neural Network model used has an architecture comprising six input nodes, five hidden layers, and one output layer. Model evaluation using Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) yielded a value of approximately ± 636.267 grams (0.636267 tons), indicating the predicted annual change in rice production per province. These findings are expected to assist the government and stakeholders in formulating strategies to stabilize rice production and distribution in Sumatra, thereby reducing price fluctuations and addressing supply imbalances that impact national food securit
Simulation and Evaluation Hydrogen-rich Syngas Production from Palm Kernell Shell Through Gasification
The increasing global demand for energy, coupled with the depletion of fossil fuel reserves, has prompted the urgent need for alternative and sustainable energy sources. Biomass, particularly palm oil waste such as palm kernel shell (PKS) presents as an alternative solution due to its abundance, high calorific value, and low moisture content. This study investigates the production of syngas from PKS through gasification using Aspen PlusTM process simulation software. The simulation is divided into pre-treatment, gasification, and separation stages, employing R-Stoic, R-Yield, and R-Gibbs reactor blocks to model drying, decomposition, and thermodynamic equilibrium, respectively. Two gasifying agents, steam and air, were evaluated under varying temperature conditions and equivalence ratio (ER) ranging from 0.19 to 0.27. The results indicate that both temperature and ER significantly influence syngas composition, particularly the production of H2 and CO, while higher ER values tend to reduce carbon efficiency. Steam gasification produced higher hydrogen yields compared to air. Simulation outputs showed strong agreement with experimental data, validating the model’s accuracy. This study demonstrates the potential of PKS gasification for renewable energy generation and highlights the effectiveness of process simulation for system design and optimization prior to industrial implementation

Corrupt practices in Indonesia are a major problem that causes financial losses and undermines public trust in government and justice. This phenomenon has become a widespread habit from before independence to the Reform era, and involves various levels of government. The mass media plays an important role in publicizing corruption cases, shaping public opinion, and influencing the political agenda. This study aims to analyze the framing of the news coverage of the Syahrul Yasin Limpo corruption case by Kompas.com from February 29 to May 10, 2024. The framing analysis method is used to observe how the media shapes reality and presents news, as well as identify power dynamics and relationships between the parties involved. The results of the study show that Kompas.com focus on certain aspects that affect the public's view of the case. This study provides an understanding of the influence of media framing on public perception of corruption cases in Indonesia.Praktik korupsi di Indonesia merupakan masalah utama yang menyebabkan kerugian finansial dan merusak kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap pemerintahan dan keadilan. Fenomena ini telah menjadi kebiasaan yang meluas sejak sebelum kemerdekaan hingga era Reformasi, dan melibatkan berbagai tingkatan pemerintahan. Media massa memainkan peran penting dalam mempublikasikan kasus korupsi, membentuk opini publik, dan mempengaruhi agenda politik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis framing pemberitaan kasus korupsi Syahrul Yasin Limpo oleh Kompas.com dari 29 Februari hingga 10 Mei 2024. Metode analisis framing digunakan untuk mengamati bagaimana media membentuk realitas dan menyajikan berita, serta mengidentifikasi dinamika kekuasaan dan hubungan antar pihak yang terlibat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kompas.com memberikan fokus pada aspek-aspek tertentu yang mempengaruhi pandangan publik terhadap kasus tersebut. ANALYSIS OF TRANSLATION METHODS AND QUALITY OF ILLOCUTIONARY ACTS IN INSTAGRAM’S AUTOMATIC TRANSLATIONS OF @FOLKATIVE CAPTIONS
Technological advancements have led to the emergence of automatic translation engines across various platforms, including Instagram. Instagram’s automatic translation feature enables cross-language information delivery. However, its effectiveness warrants further evaluation. This study aims to describe the types of illocutionary acts found in the captions of the Instagram account @Folkative using Searle’s (1976) theory, analyze the translation methods based on Newmark’s (1988) framework, and assess translation quality in terms of readability using the model proposed by Nababan et al. (2012). Employing a descriptive qualitative method, this research analyzed 67 sentences from 20 @Folkative posts (January–February 2025) and involved 72 respondents through surveys. The results show that the most dominant illocutionary act is representatives (64%), with the presence of multiple illocutionary acts and emojis functioning as expressive cues. The most frequently used translation methods are faithful (34%) and literal (33%), indicating a strong source-language orientation (77%). The average readability score of Instagram’s automatic translations is 2.46, categorized as medium, which suggests that the translations are generally understandable but often unnatural and contain occasional errors. Overall, Instagram’s automatic translation feature is capable of conveying basic meanings functionally but remains limited in terms of linguistic flexibility and cultural adaptation. Its effectiveness depends on the alignment between language function, translation method, and the nature of social media as a space for dynamic and emotionally resonant digital communication
Penguatan Kapasitas Nelayan melalui Diseminasi Inovasi Alat Tangkap Bagan Apung Berbasis Mekanisasi dan IoT di Perairan Pulau Lemukutan
Lemukutan Island, located in West Kalimantan, possesses high marine resource potential. However, local fishers still rely on conventional fishing gear that is inefficient and ecologically detrimental. This community service initiative aims to enhance the capacity and productivity of fishers through the transfer of bagan apung (lift-net) technology based on mechanization and the Internet of Things (IoT). The method employed is Participatory Action Research (PAR), conducted in four phases: needs assessment, technology design, technical training, and mentoring with evaluation. The results show a significant improvement in fishers’ understanding and technical skills in operating mechanized digital lift nets, along with increased catch efficiency and ecological awareness. Furthermore, local initiatives emerged to replicate the technology independently. This technology has proven to be an environmentally friendly, appropriate, and empowering fishing solution aligned with marine conservation principles and sustainable development goals.

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan produktivitas nelayan melalui transfer teknologi alat tangkap bagan apung berbasis mekanisasi dan Internet of Things (IoT). Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui empat tahapan: identifikasi kebutuhan, perancangan teknologi, pelatihan teknis, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan teknis nelayan terhadap penggunaan bagan apung mekanis–digital, serta peningkatan efisiensi tangkapan dan kesadaran ekologis. Selain itu, muncul inisiatif lokal untuk mereplikasi teknologi secara mandiri. Teknologi ini terbukti sebagai solusi tangkap ramah lingkungan yang tepat guna dan memberdayakan, sejalan dengan prinsip konservasi laut dan pembangunan berkelanjutan.

Analisis Potensi Kebangkrutan PT Sritex dengan Metode Altman Z-Score, Springate, dan Grover Periode 2014–2024
PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (Sritex) was once considered one of the largest and most financially stable textile companies in Indonesia. However, its bankruptcy declaration in 2025 prompted the need to investigate early warning signs of financial distress. This study aims to evaluate the bankruptcy potential of Sritex over the 2014–2024 period using a triangulated approach of three well-established prediction models: Altman Z-Score, Springate, and Grover. This research employs a descriptive quantitative method, analyzing secondary data from annual financial reports obtained through digital archival sources. The results show that Sritex maintained a financially healthy position from 2014 to 2019. However, beginning in 2020, early signs of weakening appeared and financial distress was consistently recorded from 2021 onward across all three models. The Z Score dropped to as low as –2.55, Springate to –3.97, and Grover to –4.46 in 2021, indicating a critical decline in retained earnings, working capital, and operational profitability. These findings confirm that the bankruptcy risk had been predictable in advance, suggesting shortcomings in corporate governance and financial oversight.
