Implementasi Mode Deep Sleep pada Sistem Pendeteksi Asap Rokok Berbasis LoRa di Pesantren
Smoking behavior is found in pesantren (boarding schools) as well as in non-boarding school zones. Although there is a no-smoking rule in pesantren, there are still many students who smoke in secret where one of the most common places for them to smoke is inside the dormitory toilets and dormitories. Most often used as a place to smoke is inside the dormitory toilet and this behavior is an offense. This behavior is a violation. The purpose of this research is to design a cigarette smoke detector that can help teachers or supervisors in supervising students. students who are secretly smoking in the bathroom. who are smoking in the restroom. Dalam upaya pembuatan peringatan indikasi adanya asap rokok maka dibuat smoker alarm system yang dapat memberikan peringatan kepada pengawas pesantren apabila ada indikasi keberadaan asap rokok pada suatu bilik toilet. Pada proses pengiriman data digunakan modul LoRa. Untuk data yang telah diambil dari sensor selanjutnya akan dikirim menuju database firestore menggunakan protocol MQTT dan menggunakan Node-RED sebagai pemrograman. Sistem ini dapat melakukan pengiriman data sampai radius 180 meter dengan kondisi NLOS. Pada pengujian sensor CO dan CO2 dihasilkan perbedaan nilai konsentrasi gas ketika sensor tidak dipengaruhi adanya asap dengan sensor ketika diberikan pengaruh adanya asap. Mitigasi Arc Flash di Stasiun Pengumpul Minyak Melalui ETAP dan NFPA 70E
Bahaya kelistrikan, khususnya arc flash, tetap menjadi risiko kritis dalam sistem kelistrikan industri, terutama pada fasilitas minyak dan gas di mana keselamatan dan kontinuitas operasional sangat penting. Arc flash dapat melepaskan energi termal ekstrem dalam hitungan milidetik, yang berpotensi menyebabkan luka bakar serius, kerusakan peralatan, hingga kematian. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memitigasi risiko arc flash pada instalasi listrik stasiun pengumpul minyak dengan menggunakan ETAP (Electrical Transient Analyzer Program) dan standar NFPA 70E (2024). Analisis difokuskan pada dua Motor Control Center (MCC-1 dan MCC-2) tegangan rendah dalam dua skenario: normal (AF-1) dan terburuk (AF-2). Simulasi ETAP menunjukkan bahwa pada AF-1, MCC-1 menghasilkan 22,21 cal/cm² pada jarak 9,17 m dengan arus 5,29 kA, dan MCC-2 sebesar 33,36 cal/cm² pada 10,21 m dengan 5,05 kA. Pada AF-2, MCC-1 mencapai 21,50 cal/cm² dan MCC-2 sebesar 30,50 cal/cm². Penilaian risiko semi-kuantitatif menggunakan matriks keparahan (Se) dan kemungkinan (Lo) menghasilkan skor awal 12 (tinggi) dengan Se = 4 dan Lo = 3. Upaya mitigasi seperti peningkatan peralatan, pengendalian administratif, dan APD menurunkan Lo menjadi 2, sehingga risiko sisa turun menjadi 8 (sedang). PERCEPTION AND MOTIVATION OF STUDENTS TOWARDS PROJECT-BASED LEARNING (PJBL) IN LANGUAGE LEARNING
Project-based learning (PjBL) has emerged as a prominent approach in vocational education, particularly in language learning, as it aligns closely with the challenges of the professional world. This study investigates the perceptions and motivations of vocational students toward the implementation of PjBL in their language courses. The purpose of this study is to analyze students' experiences with PjBL, identify the factors influencing their motivation and engagement, and propose recommendations for improving the effectiveness of PjBL in vocational education. A mixed-method approach was employed, combining quantitative data from structured questionnaires completed by 170 students across three semesters and qualitative insights from Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The sampling technique ensured representation from students with varying levels of experience with PjBL. The findings show that in general, students perceive PjBL positively, recognizing its role in enhancing their understanding of course material and developing critical skills such as communication and collaboration. However, challenges such as inconsistent instructions from lecturers, tight deadlines, and a lack of focus on the learning process in assessments were noted as significant barriers to engagement and motivation. PjBL holds substantial promise for improving language learning outcomes in vocational education. By addressing instructional consistency, providing flexible timelines, and emphasizing formative assessments, PjBL can be further optimized to better prepare students for the demands of their future careers.

Case-Based Reasoning Diagnosis Penyakit Pada Tanaman Kelapa Sawit
Oil palm cultivation is one of the main agricultural commodities in Indonesia, as oil palm plants have a relatively high economic value. However, oil palm cultivation is vulnerable to disease attacks that can threaten productivity. The lack of knowledge among farmers in managing plantations and addressing these problems can exacerbate damage to plants due to disease attacks. To address this issue, this research will develop an application using a Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) approach to diagnose diseases in oil palm plants with the nearest neighbor calculation algorithm. CBR will solve new problems by reusing knowledge to solve old problems that are similar and already have solutions. The nearest neighbor algorithm is useful for calculating similarity between new cases and old cases. The data for the research involves 7 types of diseases, 20 symptoms, and 345 cases of disease attacks on oil palm plants. The application testing uses 25 test cases and 320 case bases. From the test results, the application shows an accuracy rate of 31.00, with the highest similarity value reaching 0.98. In this research, it can be seen that the generated similarity values are high but the accuracy value is low. This can be caused by several factors, such as the data of the cases, feature representation, and insufficient diagnosis, which result in high similarity values due to the assignment of values to attribute categories and attribute value proximity.Budidaya tanaman kelapa sawit adalah salah satu komoditas pertanian utama di Indonesia, hal tersebut terjadi karena tanaman kelapa sawit memiliki nilai jual ekonomi yang cukup tinggi. Namun Budidaya tanaman kelapa sawit rentan terhadap serangan penyakit yang dapat mengancam produktivitas. Kurangnya pengetahuan para petani dalam mengelola kebun dan mengatasi masalah tersebut dapat memperparah kerusakan tanaman akibat serangan penyakit. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut pada penelitian ini akan membangun sebuah aplikasi dengan pendekatan Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) untuk mendiagnosis penyakit pada tanaman kelapa sawit dengan algoritma perhitungan nearest neighbor. CBR akan menyelesaikan permasalahan baru dengan memanfaatkan kembali pengetahuan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan lama yang memiliki kesamaan dan telah memiliki solusi. Algoritma nearest neighbor berguna untuk menghitung similaritas atau kemiripan antar kasus baru dengan kasus lama. Data untuk penelitian melibatkan 7 jenis penyakit, 20 gejala, dan 345 kasus serangan penyakit pada tanaman kelapa sawit. Pengujian aplikasi menggunakan 25 kasus uji serta 320 basis kasus. Dari hasil pengujian aplikasi menunjukkan hasil akurasi sebesar 31,00%, dengan nilai similaritas tertinggi mencapai 0,98. Meskipun aplikasi mampu memberikan solusi yang efektif tetapi terdapat keterbatasan dalam penentuan kasus terpilih ketika memiliki nilai similaritas yang sama
Pengembangan Learning Management System dengan Framework Laravel dan Tailwind CSS
Education today is increasingly faced with the challenge of integrating technology in the learning process to improve quality and accessibility. In this context, the development of Learning Management System (LMS) using Laravel framework and Tailwind CSS becomes an interesting solution. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to develop a Learning Management System using Laravel framework and Tailwind CSS in its development, which is expected to create a technological solution that can improve the quality of learning and provide wider accessibility to learning resources. A research and development (R&D) approach is used in this study, which involves problem identification and needs analysis, solution concept design, LMS media development, testing, and media validation. The evaluation results showed significant validation, with 81.9% validation by lecturers and 100% by teachers, as well as an average validation of 90.95%, positioning the LMS in the "excellent" category and feasible to use as an online learning platform. Thus, the development of LMS using Laravel framework and Tailwind CSS has proven to be efficient and useful, providing relevant solutions to the quality and accessibility of learning.Pendidikan saat ini semakin dihadapkan pada tantangan untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran guna meningkatkan kualitas dan aksesibilitas. Dalam konteks ini, pengembangan Learning Management System (LMS) menggunakan framework Laravel dan Tailwind CSS menjadi solusi yang menarik. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan Learning Management System dengan menggunakan framework laravel dan Tailwind CSS dalam pengembangannya, yang diharapkan dengan pengembangan LMS ini dapat tercipta sebuah solusi teknologi yang mampu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran serta memberikan aksesibilitas yang lebih luas terhadap sumber pembelajaran. Pendekatan research and development (R&D) digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yang melibatkan identifikasi masalah serta menganalisis kebutuhan, desain konsep solusi, pengembangan media LMS, melakukan pengujian, dan validasi media. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan validasi yang signifikan, dengan 81,9% validasi oleh dosen dan 100% oleh guru, serta rata-rata validasi sebesar 90,95%, memposisikan LMS dalam kategori "sangat baik" dan layak digunakan sebagai platform pembelajaran online. Dengan demikian, pengembangan LMS dengan menggunakan framework Laravel dan Tailwind CSS telah terbukti efisien dan bermanfaat, memberikan solusi yang relevan terhadap kualitas dan aksesibilitas pembelajaran
Penyiram Tanaman Hidroponik Otomatis Berbasis IoT Dengan PLC Outseal Dan ESP32
Proses penyiraman pada tanaman hidroponik adalah salah satu unsur penting dalam tumbuh kembang tanaman, tanaman membutuhkan air agar tetap terus tumbuh dengan baik. Kurang efisien nya penyiraman tanaman dengan cara manual menjadikan tanaman tidak terawat karena kebutuhan air yang tidak tercukupi ataupun melebihi kecukupan pada tanaman. Untuk menjaga tumbuh kembang pada tanaman dibutuhkan sistem monitoring yang dapat memantau kelembaban tanah untuk memastikan tanaman mendapatkan asupan air yang cukup. Beberapa komponen yang digunakan diantaranya adalah sensor kelembaban tanah, sensor level air pada tangki, motor pompa dan valve. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode experimental yang kemudian divalidasi dengan implementasi langsung pada kebun hidroponik. Penerapan sistem kontrol penyiram tanaman hidroponik otomatis dengan PLC Outseal digunakan untuk mengatur kontrol pompa penyiraman dan pompa sumur berdasarkan pembacaan sensor yang akan mengoptimalkan penyiraman sesuai dengan kebutuhan tanaman dan dapat termonitoring dari jarak jauh dengan melihat hasil pembacaan sensor melalui aplikasi Blynk pada smartphone. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat bekerja sesuai deskripsi apabila kelembaban dibawah 3300 maka pompa penyiraman akan mati, dan apabila kelembaban diatas 3300 maka pompa akan hidup, waktu kecepatan penerimaan data pada Blynk selisihnya sekitar 1 detik
SISTEM MONITORING ENERGI DAN BIAYA KONSUMSI LISTRIK RUMAH TANGGA BERBASIS IOT
In Indonesia, household electricity consumption dominates at 91.47%, increasing living costs. To tackle this, an Internet of Things based system for monitoring energy and electricity expenditure has been developed, accessible through a mobile app. This employs the PZEM-004T sensor linked to an ESP32 to measure electric parameters such as voltage, current, power, energy, and consumption costs. Gathered data is shown on an LCD and sent to Firebase, syncing with the app for easy monitoring by users. The app also offers features to download data and calculate electricity costs for varying periods. Testing of the PZEM-004T sensor showed voltage and current measurement accuracies of 98.5% and 99.89%, respectively, indicating high precision with minimal error. Connected to home appliances, it recorded 0.474 kWh of energy use, costing Rp 640.85. The app displays measurements of five electrical parameters and allows users to download monthly data in Excel format and estimate daily, monthly, and yearly electricity expenses.Pengguna listrik terbesar di Indonesia berasal dari golongan rumah tangga yang mencapai 91,47%, yang menyebabkan peningkatan biaya rumah tangga. Oleh karena itu, dibuat sebuah sistem monitoring energi dan biaya konsumsi listrik rumah tangga berbasis Internet of Things yang dapat dipantau melalui aplikasi mobile, dengan menggunakan sensor PZEM-004T yang terhubung ke ESP32 untuk mengukur parameter listrik seperti tegangan, arus, daya, energi, dan biaya konsumsi. Data yang dikumpulkan ditampilkan pada LCD dan ditransmisikan ke Firebase, yang sinkron dengan aplikasi, memungkinkan pengguna untuk memantau biaya konsumsi listrik. Aplikasi juga dilengkapi dengan fungsi untuk mengunduh data dan menghitung biaya listrik selama berbagai periode. Hasil pengujian PZEM-004T didapat persentase akurasi pengukuran tegangan 98,5% dan arus 99,89% yang menandakan sensor ini mengukur dengan akurat, dengan persentase error tegangan dan arus masing-masing sebesar 1,5% dan 0,11%. Setelah terhubung ke peralatan rumah tangga, sistem mencatat penggunaan energi sebesar 0.474 kWh, dengan biaya Rp 640,85. Aplikasi menampilkan hasil pengukuran 5 parameter listrik. Pengguna juga mampu mengunduh data pengukuran bulanan dalam format Excel dan menggunakan kalkulator untuk memperkirakan biaya listrik harian, bulanan, dan tahunan
NEUTRALITY OF BBC ONLINE NEWSPAPER ON PALESTINE-ISRAEL WAR BASED ON THE USED OF EUPHEMISM AND DYSPHEMISM
This research analyzed the Indonesia-English translation in journalistic text, which was published in BBC Online Newspaper. This research analyzed euphemism and dysphemism in journalistic text from BBC Online Newspaper covering the Palestine-Israel war from February to March 2024. This research aims to find out the use of euphemism and dysphemism in BBC Online Newspaper, the translation technique, and the translation quality. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, purposive sampling techniques, FGD and content analysis, and cultural theme analysis. This study found that between euphemism and dysphemism, euphemism is the dominant diction in a total of 47 data with indirection as the most used with 12 data with the rest in sequence is understatement with 10 data, litotes with 5 data, abstraction with 7 data, semantic shift and metaphorical transfer both with 4 data and widening with 3 data while the dysphemism is 24 data in total. The Influence Of Financial Literacy And Financial Behavior On Welma-Mybca Mutual Fund Investment Decisions
Purpose
This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of financial literacy and financial behavior on mutual fund investment decisions at Wealth Management (WELMA) MyBCA.
Design/methodology/approach
The research method used in this research is quantitative research with a purposive sampling approach. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression based on the results of the questionnaire using SPSS 26.0.
Findings
Financial literacy and financial behavior partially or simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on mutual fund investment decisions at WELMA-MyBCA.
Research limitations/implications
The limitations in this study are that BCA Bank customers use WELMA-MyBCA in conducting investment transactions and are millennial generations domiciled in Java Island.
Originality/value
This research is expected to be a policy evaluation of the WELMA feature provided by BCA with a view to assessing the prospects and challenges in investing which are factor in encouraging financial literacy and financial behavior for the millennial generation.
