    PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING MELALUI PERMAINAN TENIS MEJA PADA HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR KELAS 5

    This study aims to determine the effect of the Discovery learning learning model using table tennis games on the learning outcomes of 5th grade elementary school students. This type of research is quantitative research in the form of a Pre-Experimental Design with the type of One Group Pretest-Posttest. The population in this study were 5th grade elementary school students. The sample used in this study was 5th grade elementary school students consisting of 40 students. In determining the pretest and posttest, a validity test is carried out on the instrument questions which have been validated by the validator. The experimental method was used with a single group control pretest-posttest design to compare the learning outcomes of students who used the discovery learning method with groups of students who using conventional learning methods. The results showed that the group of students who took part in discovery learning through table tennis experienced a significant increase in learning outcomes compared to the group of students who received conventional learning. These findings indicate that the use of the discovery learning model with a table tennis game approach can be an effective alternative in improving the quality of learning in grade 5 elementary schools. After obtaining data from the results of the pretest and posttest, it was analyzed using the t-test. Obtained tcount = 25.817 with a significant level of 5% of 0.256. Because tcount = 25.81 > ttable = 0.256. Then Ha is accepted, this shows that the Discovery learning learning model with table tennis games has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of Grade 5 SD students. Based on the results of this research, the suggestion that can be conveyed is that the Discovery learning learning model using table tennis games can be used as an alternative for teachers to teach on the theme of my hero and other learning.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahi pengaruh model pembelajaran Discovery learning dengan menggunakan permainan tenis meja terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas 5 SD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dalam bentuk Pre-Experimental Design dengan jenis One Group Pretest-Posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 5 SD. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 5 SD yang terdiri dari 40 siswa. Dalam menentukan pretest dan posttest, dilakukan uji validitas soal instrumen yang telah divalidkan oleh validator. Metode eksperimen digunakan dengan desain pretest-posttest kontrol kelompok tunggal untuk membandingkan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran Discovery learning dengan kelompok siswa yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran Discovery learning melalui permainan tenis meja mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar dibandingkan dengan kelompok siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Discovery learning dengan pendekatan permainan tenis meja dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar kelas 5. Setelah diperoleh data dari hasil pretest dan posttest, di analisis menggunakan uji- t. Diperoleh thitung = 25,817 dengan taraf signifikan 5% sebesar 0,256. Karena thitung = 25,81 > ttabel = 0,256. Maka Ha diterima hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Discovery learning dengan permainan tenis meja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas Kelas 5 SD. Berdasarkan hasil prenelitian ini saran yang dapat disampaikan adalah supaya model pembelajaran Discovery learning dengan menggunakan permainan tenis meja dapat dijadikan salah satu alternative guru untuk mengajar pada tema pahlawanku maupun pembelajaran yang lain

    THE EFFECTIVENESS OF USING DUOLINGO TO MASTERY STUDENTS’ VOCABULARY IN ENGLISH TEACHING

    Vocabulary is a crucial component that supports four important English language skills. Vocabulary mastery is more important than grammar. Vocabulary is an important component in the study of languages, and it is invaluable and students must master vocabulary. Mastering a helpful vocabulary facilitates more effective interaction though lacking for perfect grammatical structure. Traditional vocabulary techniques for learning, that usually involve rote learning, are sometimes boring and depressing for students. The effectiveness and motivation of the learning process are both enhanced by the use of relevant media in a learning environment. Effective use of media will enhance student learning outcomes and build innovation. The use of technology in the classroom, particularly using applications such as Duolingo, provides a modern solution for vocabulary mastery. Its fun and interactive way to study vocabulary is offered by the free online language learning tool Duolingo. Students found the platform appealing because of its game-like functions, like rankings and competitions. Furthermore, Duolingo has an element called "Duolingo for Schools" that enables teachers to monitor and interact with students' progress. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the way students will master English vocabulary with the use of the Duolingo application. Using the utilization of Duolingo's practicality, convenience, and comprehensiveness, students can effectively and fun to master their vocabulary.     WOMEN TIKTOKERS’ OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE UTILIZATION DURING THE FREE PALESTINE CAMPAIGN

    Linguists argue women's linguistic politeness is influenced by societal perceptions, but as gender equality advances, the concept of women's language evolves, involving debates on offensive language. Therefore, this study investigated the utilization of offensive language by women TikTokers in the Free Palestine campaign. The research focuses on the study of issue statements regarding the various forms of offensive language used by women TikTokers participating in the Free Palestine campaign. This study employs Battistella's (2005) theory, which posits four distinct categories of offensive language. This study employed a qualitative approach, utilizing data obtained from the transcriptions of three female TikTok users, namely Kayla, Katie, and Heba. According to the research findings, women who use TikTok employ all of Battistella's offensive language categories a total of 223 times in their videos. Among women TikTokers, the term "obscenity" is the most frequently utilized, appearing a total of 159 times. It is followed by "epithets," which appear 30 times; "profanity," which appears 19 times; and "vulgarity," which appears 15 times. This study presents empirical evidence demonstrating that the linguistic patterns exhibited by Kayla, Katie, and Heba, who are female TikTokers, deviate from the conventional characteristics of women's language, specifically in relation to the usage of swearing as described by Lakoff. Kayla, Katie, and Heba exercise a greater degree of autonomy in expressing themselves through the use of offensive language, without fear of criticism or judgment.Para ahli bahasa berpendapat bahwa kesantunan berbahasa perempuan dipengaruhi oleh norma-norma yang berlaku di masyarakat, tetapi seiring dengan kemajuan kesetaraan gender, konsep bahasa perempuan pun berkembang, termasuk perdebatan tentang bahasa yang ofensif. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menyelidiki penggunaan bahasa ofensif oleh TikTokers perempuan dalam kampanye Free Palestine. Penelitian ini berfokus pada studi pernyataan isu mengenai berbagai bentuk bahasa ofensif yang digunakan oleh TikTokers perempuan yang berpartisipasi dalam kampanye Free Palestine. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Battistella (2005), yang mengemukakan empat kategori bahasa ofensif yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan menggunakan data yang diperoleh dari transkripsi tiga pengguna TikTok perempuan, yaitu Kayla, Katie, dan Heba. Menurut temuan penelitian, perempuan yang menggunakan TikTok menggunakan semua kategori bahasa kasar Battistella sebanyak 223 kali dalam video mereka.     Developments in Abrasive Water Jet Machining of Nonmetals

    Abrasive water jet machining (AWJM) is known for precise cutting of metals and nonmetals. In the past few years, this machining technology has undergone some important developments which possibly enhanced its capability and extended its applications. This article presents such important developments and related attempts on AWJM made by researchers in the recent past. The scope covers AWJM of important nonmetallic materials like rock, glass, rubber, composites and ceramics etc. The important developments have been in the form of utilizing abrasives like sugar particles, glass beads, ice particles, bone powder; water-less abrasive jet machining; process optimization; and acoustic emission monitoring etc. that enhanced the capability of the AWJM process towards cost reduction, quality enhancement, and sustainability. The article intends to amass such important information related to the recent developments in AWJM for nonmetal cutting and aims to facilitate scholars and researchers with this new knowledge

    PENGARUH KOMPENSASI TERHADAP MINAT MELAMAR PEKERJAAN DENGAN LOKASI KANTOR SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERATING (STUDI PADA PENGGUNA JOBSTREET DI DEPOK)

    This study aims to analyze the influence of compensation on job application interest with office location as a moderating variable among Jobstreet platform users in Depok. The data collection method used questionnaires with a sample of 100 respondents and was processed using the PLS-SEM analysis method. The data analysis results show that compensation has a positive and significant influence with a path coefficient value of 0.614 and P values of 0.000 on job application interest. The office location variable also has a positive and significant influence with a path coefficient value of 0.293 and P values of 0.001 on job application interest. Additionally, office location is proven to moderate the relationship between compensation and job application interest with a path coefficient value of 0.200 and P values of 0.012. These findings indicate that a strategic office location can strengthen the relationship between compensation and job application interest. The implications of this study are that companies on Jobstreet platform need to consider not only competitive compensation but also strategic office locations to attract job applicants' interest.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompensasi terhadap minat melamar pekerjaan dengan lokasi kantor sebagai variabel moderating pada pengguna platform Jobstreet di Depok. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan sampel 100 responden dan diolah menggunakan metode analisis PLS-SEM. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kompensasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan dengan nilai koefiesien jalur 0,614 dan P values 0,000 terhadap minat melamar pekerjaan, variabel lokasi kantor juga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan dengan nilai koefiesien jalur 0,293 dan P values 0,001 terhadap minat melamar pekerjaan. Selain itu, lokasi kantor terbukti memoderasi hubungan antara kompensasi dan minat melamar pekerjaan dengan nilai koefiesien jalur 0,200 dan P values 0,012. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa lokasi kantor yang strategis dapat memperkuat hubungan antara kompensasi terhadap minat melamar pekerjaan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah, perusahaan pada platform Jobstreet perlu mempertimbangkan tidak hanya kompensasi yang kompetitif, tetapi juga lokasi kantor yang strategis untuk menarik minat pelamar pekerjaa

    This research aims to know and analyze the implementation of KPI, the effort to improve employee prowess, and career development at PT ANTAM Tbk – Unit Geomin. The research method used is qualitative research method. In this research, data collection techniques used interview, observation, and document. Data analysis techniques used Miles & Huberman with NVivo 12. The result indicates that implementation of KPI at PT ANTAM Tbk – Unit Geomin are held appropriate with applicable guidelines, but the result of KPI achievements for several employees in Department levels showed that it wasn’t optimal. The average of KPI achievements were down in different years that showed by unstable final point of SMUK. The majority of employees were stagnant at the ‘Good’ category even a decline from the ‘Very Good’ to ‘Good’ and from ‘Good’ to ‘Fair’. In an effort to improve employee prowess from KPI are held through technical or skills training, knowledge sharing, certification, seminars, webinars, conferences, and assessment based on SMUK scores. Career development from KPI held through Performance Improvement Planning (PIP) for education and training which uses SMUK scores for increasing competency to achieve KPI, promotion and job transfer programs which use SMUK scores for the selection requirements and one of the aspects that determine final selection ranking.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis penerapan KPI, upaya peningkatan kecakapan pegawai, dan pengembangan karir pada PT ANTAM Tbk – Unit Geomin. Metode penelitian yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman dengan aplikasi NVivo 12. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan KPI di PT ANTAM Tbk – Unit Geomin telah dilaksanakan sesuai dengan pedoman yang berlaku, tetapi hasil capaian KPI beberapa pegawai level jabatan Department menunjukkan hasil yang belum optimal. Rata-rata capaian KPI turun pada tahun berbeda-beda yang ditunjukkan pada poin akhir nilai SMUK yang tidak stabil. Sebagian besar pegawai stagnan hanya mencapai nilai SMUK ‘Good’ bahkan penurunan terjadi dari kategori ‘Very Good’ menjadi ‘Good’ serta dari ‘Good’ menjadi ‘Fair’. Dalam upaya meningkatkan kecakapan pegawai dari penerapan KPI telah dilaksanakan berbagai program, seperti pelatihan teknis ataupun skill, sharing knowledge, sertifikasi, seminar, webinar, konferensi, serta assessment yang didasarkan pada hasil capaian KPI berupa nilai SMUK. Pengembangan karir dari penerapan KPI diselenggarakan melalui beberapa program, seperti Performance Improvement Planning (PIP) untuk pendidikan dan pelatihan yang menggunakan nilai SMUK sebagai dasar peningkatan kompetensi untuk mencapai KPI, serta program promosi dan mutasi jabatan yang menggunakan nilai SMUK sebagai syarat seleksi dan salah satu aspek penentuan bobot nilai rangking akhir seleksi

    Kualitas Pelayanan Hotel Mambruk Anyer Saat Program Incentive Travel MICE (Studi Kasus Mahasiswa MICE PNJ)

    For incentive travel participants, such as those carried out by MICE PNJ 2023 students, the quality of service when staying at a hotel is important. So when problems arise, the quality of a hotel decreases. "On that basis, we intend to conduct research with the title Quality of Accommodation Services During the MICE Travel Incentive Program (Case Study of the Mambruk Anyer Hotel)." The aim of this research is to explain the quality of service at the Mambruk Anyer Hotel and explain the satisfaction of travel incentive participants during their stay at the Mambruk Anyer Hotel. Using qualitative methods, the results obtained were that the service quality of the Mambruk Anyer Hotel during incentive travel activities for MICE PNJ 2023 students did not meet the positive impression. These include inadequate toilet facilities, cleanliness such as dirty bed sheets due to blood stains, and a lack of human resources. Meanwhile, the satisfaction of the incentive travel participants, while students stayed at the Mambruk Anyer Hotel, was not fulfilled and was not commensurate with the costs spent to experience the stay.Bagi peserta incentive travel, seperti yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa MICE PNJ 2023, kualitas pelayanan saat menginap di hotel menjadi hal yang penting. Sehingga ketika muncul permasalahan, membuat kualitas di suatu hotel berkurang. Atas dasar itu, bermaksud melakukan penelitian dengan judul Kualitas Pelayanan Akomodasi Saat Program Incentive Travel MICE (Studi Kasus Hotel Mambruk Anyer)”. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan kualitas pelayanan di Hotel Mambruk Anyer dan menjelaskan kepuasan para peserta incentive travel selama menginap di Hotel Mambruk Anyer. Dengan metode kualitatif diperoleh hasil bahwa kualitas pelayanan Hotel Mambruk Anyer saat kegiatan incentive travel dari mahasiswa MICE PNJ 2023 tidak memenuhi kesan positif. Antara lain fasilitas toiletries kurang memadai, kebersihan seperti sprei kotor karena adanya noda darah, hingga kekurangan SDM. Sementara kepuasan para peserta incentive travel, di mana selama mahasiswa menginap di Hotel Mambruk Anyer belum terpenuhi dan tidak sebanding dengan biaya yang sudah dikeluarkan untuk merasakan pengalaman menginap

    The tourism sector is a sector that has the potential to be developed as a source of regional income. As one of the sources of income, tourism is influenced by the number of tourists. The progress of the tourism sector in an area is highly dependent on the number of tourists who visit. The number of tourists will bring income to the area they visit. This study aims to determine the influence of the number of domestic tourist visits on the original income of Bogor City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression analysis method. The result of the study is that the number of domestic tourist visits has a significant positive influence on the PAD of Bogor City. The number of domestic tourist visits has a significant influence of 87% on the PAD of Bogor City. One of the government effort is to expand tourism activities such as entertainment, sports, camps, and competitions to increase the number of tourist visits so that it will increase the PAD of Bogor City.The tourism sector is a sector that has the potential to be developed as a source of regional income.     Analisa Pengaruh Aplikasi Hafalan Al-Quran Juz 30 Berbasis iOS Terhadap Motivasi Pengguna Menggunakan Model MSLQ

    Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world, but the number of Qur'an memorizers in Indonesia is still relatively small. One of the main obstacles faced is the lack of motivation in memorizing the Qur'an. One approach that can help increase motivation in memorizing is an approach through application media, considering the use of gadgets in Indonesia continues to increase, the application media approach is a potential solution. Through the application, the memorization process can become more interactive by utilizing surprising and delightful techniques. This research is limited to Al-Qur'an Juz 30 which is the final part of the Al-Qur'an. In addition to building the Qur'an memorization application, this research also analyzes the effect of the iOS based Juz 30 Qur'an memorization application on user motivation using the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) model. The measurement results show that there is an influence between the Al-Qur'an memorization application and user motivation in memorizing. The Al-Qur'an memorization application has an influence of 26.2% on user motivation, while 73.8% of memorization motivation is influenced by other factors outside the study. Thus, it can be concluded that the Al-Qur'an memorization application has an influence on user motivation in memorizing, but there are still other factors that also affect this motivation.Indonesia merupakan negera dengan populasi penduduk beragama islam terbesar didunia, akan tetapi jumlah penghafal Al-Qur'an di Indonesia masih relatif kecil. Salah satu kendala utama yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya motivasi dalam menghafal Al-Qur'an. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat membantu meningkatkan motivasi dalam menghafal yaitu pendekatan melalui media aplikasi, mengingat penggunaan gadget di Indonesia terus meningkat, maka pendekatan media aplikasi menjadi solusi yang potensial. Melalui aplikasi proses menghafal dapat menjadi lebih interaktif dengan memanfaatkan teknik surprising and delightful. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada Al-Qur’an Juz 30 yang merupakan bagian akhir dari Al-Qur’an. Selain membangun aplikasi hafalan Al-Qur’an, penelitian ini juga menganalisis pengaruh aplikasi hafalan Al-Qur'an Juz 30 berbasis iOS terhadap motivasi pengguna menggunakan Model Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ). Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan adanya pengaruh antara aplikasi hafalan Al-Qur'an dengan motivasi pengguna dalam menghafal. Aplikasi hafalan Al-Qur'an memberikan pengaruh sebesar 26,2% terhadap motivasi pengguna, sementara 73,8% motivasi menghafal dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar penelitian. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi hafalan Al-Qur'an memiliki pengaruh terhadap motivasi pengguna dalam menghafal, namun masih terdapat faktor lain yang juga mempengaruhi motivasi tersebut

    Analisis dan Desain Filter Pasif Terhadap Harmonisa Pada Gedung Perkantoran 18-Office Park

    18-Office Park merupakan suatu gedung  perkantoran yang terletak di daerah Jl. TB Simatupang n 18, Jakarta Selatan. Pada gedung ini banyak menggunakan beban non-linear yang memicu adanya harmonisa. Adanya gejala harmonisa ditandai dengan tingginya nilai THDI. Nilai THDI yang terukur dari transformator PUTR-1 sebesar 20,1%  dan arusnya sebesar 1.525,80 A. Pada  penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari nilai derating factor akibat adanya gangguan harmonisa,  mendesain filter harmonisa (single passive tuned filter), menghitung seberapa besar pengaruh filter terhadap harmonisa dan menghitung seberapa besar investasi yang akan dikeluarkan jika filter diterapkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah memasukkan rumus-rumus kedalam aplikasi Microsoft Excel. Berdasarkan dari hasil perhitungan,  nilai dari derating factor tersebesar sebelum difilter yaitu sebesar 93,01% dari pembebanan maksimalnya. Untuk memimalisasi kerugian yang dihasilkan harmonisa, pada penelitian ini mencoba mendesain filter harmonisa (single passive tuned filter) dengan parameter-parameter C, L dan R pada orde harmonisa ke-3, 5, 11 dan 17. Dari desain tersebut dapat menurunkan TDD maksimal di ke-3 fasa (R, S dan T) dapat menurunkan rugi-rugi daya sebesar 53% dari semula dan dapat menaikan nilai derating factor tersebesar menjadi 94,92% . Perkiraan investasi total jika filter diterapkan sebesar 8.000(sebesarRp120.000.000denganasumsi8.000 (sebesar Rp120.000.000 dengan asumsi 1 = Rp15.000) selama 2 tahun 10 bulan
