Magnesium Utilization in Dolomite Rocks by Struvite Precipitation in an Insulated Column Reactor
Dolomite is a natural mineral rock with the chemical formula CaMg(CO3)2. Pure dolomite contains 21.70% calcium and 13.04% magnesium. Dolomite has not been widely used in the industrial sector until now. One way to increase the economic value of dolomite rock is to utilize its magnesium content as a precursor to struvite mineral which is the raw material for slow release fertilizer. Under alkaline conditions, struvite minerals are formed at concentrations of Mg2+, NH4+, and PO43-. Struvite solution (MAP) can be prepared by reacting phosphoric acid, ammonium hydroxide, and dolomite as a magnesium source in a molar ratio of 1:1:1. In a continuously operated isolated column reactor, the pH ranged from 8 to 12, and the reactor inlet air velocity ranged from 0.25 to 1.25 L/min. The chemical elements of dried struvite were determined using XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence), and the morphology was analyzed using SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope). At the same time, the crystal phase composition was identified using the Rietveld XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) technique. Based on the results of XRF analysis, the highest magnesium content was found under operating conditions with pH 12, air rate 0.75 L/min, and magnesium content 15.5%

Prediction Of Freshwater Fish Pond Water Quality Levels Using The Backpropagation Method Based On The Internet Of Things (IoT)
The present study reports the first comprehensive study on the freshwater macroinvertebrates and its habitat preferences in Bilah River, the largest riverin the Northern Sumatra. The riverside is characterized by the presence of anthropogenic and industrial activities which may alter the macroinvertebrate assemblage and biodiversity. Five months of investigation on 10 sampling stations from December 2016 to October 2017 was conducted based on the river flow in Bilah River. Principal component analysis indicated a decrease in trophic status from upstream to downstream of the river. A total of 27 taxa were recorded, with the most abundant group were members of Odonata, Gastropoda, and Decapoda. The highest density of macroinvertebrate was observed from station 1 (160 ind m-2), while the lowest density was observed from station 9 (38.64 ind m-2). Based on species distribution and similarity, two groups of habitats may be distinctively recognized based on the Bray-curtis similarity coefficient. Group 1 consisted of station 1, 2, 3 and 4 while group 2 consisted of station 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. Based on the diversity indices as ecological parameters, the habitat condition in Bilah River is categorized from low to moderately polluted. Spatial patterns in both environmental conditions affecting the macroinvertebrate assemblage was observed using canonical correspondence analysis (CCA) revealed the preferences from each macroinvertebrate species towards environmental conditions
Implementation of the ABC Analysis to the Inventory Management
In an ever-changing market, inventory management is becoming a major problem that requires thorough planning, supervision, and control. If companies are well managed and have good planning and control, they can last a long time. Poor inventory management is very detrimental to the business as it can cause the company to fail to meet customer or consumer demands, which can lead customers to choose other companies that can meet their demands. Plan your stockpiles to maintain balance, avoid excess or deficiency, and control storage costs. ABC analysis, one of the most common inventory management techniques, divides inventory into three categories (A, B, and C) based on total annual product usage or total inventory cost based on the Pareto principle. The goal of this study is to use ABC analysis in the company's inventory management to identify products in categories A, B, and C based on profitability and sales factors. The research phases include data collection, data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis, ABC analysis, key product analysis, and explanatory analysis. According to the research findings, Segment A accounts for 18% of the total product and generates 78% of the overall profit. Segment B contributes 23% of the total number of items and 16% of all revenue.
