A Comparative Review of the Incorporation of AI Technology in Accounting Education: South Africa and Zimbabwe Perspective
The purpose of the study is to provide a comparative review of the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in accounting education by the South African and Zimbabwean higher learning institutions. This was prompted by the fact that the extent to which AI has been integrated into education is not known with certainty. The study adopted a systematic literature review approach to systematically search and identify studies, extract, analyse and synthesise information guided by some pre-established guidelines (these could be design, year of publication or findings) or research protocol. To establish valid and reliable results, authors adopted seven steps recommended by the Cochrane Collaboration to conduct a systematic review. The paper findings revealed that the incorporation of AI in accounting education is at infancy phase. Both countries are currently developing an ethical AI framework aligned with their national policy strategies. This implies that the policy on incorporating AI in accounting education is still in motion. In addition, other issues that have hampered the incorporation of AI include the unavailability of digital infrastructure, the digital divide and the lack of educators' and students' education and training on AI technology. This paper recommends collaboration between academic institutions and industry and research institutions to integrate AI education into the curriculum and implement training and development programs to enhance educators' AI literacy
Resilience Profile of Children with Special Needs and the Importance of Guidance and Counseling Services
Children with special needs are children who need special services to develop their potential in education, social services, guidance and counseling services, and various types of other special services. In reality, not many people understand or know children with special needs, so there is still much discrimination that occurs. This discrimination is not only from the community around them but also from their own families. This discrimination leads to a stressful situation, resulting in possible difficulties in participating in educational programs or other skills. Therefore, an important aspect that they need to adapt to difficult situations or stressful conditions is resilience. This research aims to describe and understand resilience in children with special needs. The method used in writing this article is the literature study method, where data is obtained by a series of activities related to library data collection methods, reading and recording, and processing research materials. The source of resilience formation itself comes from within and outside the individual internal factors that can affect children with special needs in bringing up resilience, which are emotion regulation, impulse control, optimism, causal analysis, empathy, self-efficacy, and reaching out. The implementation of counseling guidance services itself is almost the same as normal children in general according to their needs, which are described as follows: planning, implementation, and evaluation of guidance and counseling. Therefore, the important role of guidance and counseling services for children with special needs is needed
An Exploratory Study on Management Competence for Better Work Practices of The Traditional Metal Fabrication Industry in Kumasi, Ghana
One of the identifiable resources that an industry can utilize as a driver for survival is managerial competence. Although literature is replete with evidence on this subject matter, no research work has been conducted on the relationship between managerial competence and performance of the traditional metal fabrication industries in Ghana. To address this information gap, this study explored the work place practices of three traditional metal craft industries in Kumasi, Ghana with managerial competence as a moderating factor. An inductive research approach based on qualitative research methodology was adopted. The target population was 300 people of which a sample size of 171 respondents was selected. Data were collected through the use of questionnaire designed with open and close-ended responses as well as personal observations conducted using a well-designed observation guide with clear attributes and angles of observation. The results showed that all the study participants interviewed exhibited various levels of operational competence of knowledge, technical skills, experience and character attitude needed to enhance the performance and day-to-day administration of their work. They also had good conflict resolution abilities and good decision-making skills, as well as an excellent apprenticeship system embodied in a succession plan. On the other hand, the study identified several factors that impacted negatively on the operations of their work including the inability to create a conducive work environment for high performance, poor equipment and tool maintenance culture, lack of proper PPEs, poor record keeping, poor innovation and creativity skills, and nonexistence of a system for the acquisition and utilization of modern equipment and technology. These limitations suggest lack of management competence. The study considers this as quite worrisome and recommends for the needed support from both governmental and NGOs, to safeguard the survival of the metal craft industry in Ghana

The Phillips Marrying content analysis technique was used for data analysis. Coding data with the Atlas.ti application. The results of the study indicate that the types of learning media utilized during the pandemic are synchronous and asynchronous. Jitsi Meet, Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams are examples of synchronous learning media. The asynchronous media utilized are learning management systems such as e-learning in educational institutions, Google Classroom, and Edmodo, as well as other supporting media such as Google Forms, Kahoot, Quizziz, Microsoft PowerPoint, YouTube, and videos. During a pandemic, there were several issues with the use of internet-based learning media, including inadequate devices, poor internet infrastructure, and the inability of students' parents to pay. The use of learning media for distance education must take several factors into account for learning to proceed smoothly
Multicultural Dimension in Haq Naqsyabandi Thariqah
History proves that Islam spread throughout the archipelago when the Hindu-Buddhist kingdom was still in power due to the work of da'I, who were members of certain tariqas. The principle of tolerance of the adherents of thariqah succeeded in attracting the interest of the people of the archipelago to the teachings of Islam, and they converted to Islam. It is interesting to investigate the multicultural dimension of thariqah further so that it can be used to describe the teachings of tarekat concerning Islamic proselytization in a multicultural society. Therefore, this research aims to reveal the multicultural dimension in the teachings of the Haq NaqsyabandiThariqah. The research is conducted with a philosophical approach to the teachings of thariqah, which is critically described through historical data and the most important manuscripts of thariqah. Comparative Analysis of E-Commerce Sales of Halal-Labeled Products in Muslim Majority and Minority Countries
E-commerce is an alternative for individuals to look for and purchase things. Unfortunately, despite its importance in digital market connectedness, e-commerce has not played a significant role in the continuity of the halal market. This study aims to look at the differences in halal product sales in Muslim majority and minority countries, which can stimulate the availability of halal products on e-commerce and increase halal product exports, as well as make it easier for Muslim communities to buy halal products. There was no previous research on a similar topic, notably one that specifically explored the sale of halal products through e-commerce. Halal-labeled product data was taken from Lazada e-commerce using web scraping (using the Selenium package in the Python programming language), which was then carried out by Kruskal-Wallis analysis. According to the findings, the average sales of halal products in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Malaysia varies significantly. However, in the pairwise or combination test comparing groups of countries, it was discovered that the average sales of halal products in Indonesia and Singapore were identical
Practice of Interfaith Marriages in Indonesia on Islamic Jurisprudence
This article discusses Islamic jurisprudence in responding to the practice of interfaith marriages in Indonesia. The practice of interfaith marriages in Indonesia has occurred, despite rejection from various Islamic circles. According to Islamic law, in this case the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) has prohibited the practice of marriage. This interfaith marriage cannot achieve the true goal of marriage. This research uses a normative approach using the Sadd Dzari'ah theory. Sadd Adzariah refers to actions that initially provide benefits, but end in losses. The conclusion of this research shows that the Sadd Dzari'ah concept in prohibiting interfaith marriages aims to prevent religious change and avoid potential conflicts within the family. Interfaith marriages can cause one of the Muslim partners to change their faith, so the clerics prohibit it to prevent negative impacts such as changing beliefs. In addition, restrictions on interfaith marriages aim to create peace in the family and prevent children who marry non-Muslims from following non-Muslim religions. This prohibition also aims to avoid divisions in the family
