Social and Psychological Features of the Ethnic Identity of Youth of Kazakhstan
No full textThe article presents the results of an empirical study, which aimed to identify the structural components of the ethnic identity of young people in Kazakhstan, and to determine the predominant type of ethnic identity, as well as the level of development of the ethnic identity of young people. The research analysed the characteristics of the ethnic identity of young Kazakhstani people in intercultural communication environment, using a self-report questionnaire. A total of 336 people aged between 17 and 35 took part in the survey. The study revealed that the structure of ethnic identity of Kazakhstani youth included components, with positive identity being the dominant type of ethnic identity
