Analysis of Students’ Arabic Proficiency for Vocabulary Mastery in State Islamic Junior High School in Muaro Jambi
Mempelajari kosakata berarti menguasai kosakata, terjemahannya, dan penggunaannya dalam kalimat yang benar. Mampu menghafal kosakata tanpa tahu bagaimana menggunakannya dalam percakapan nyata tidak cukup. Dengan demikian, dalam praktiknya, siswa yang sudah memiliki cukup kosa kata diajarkan bagaimana menerapkannya secara tertulis atau lisan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kosakata diajarkan dan seberapa efektif kosakata itu dalam meningkatkan kemahiran berbahasa Arab siswa di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) Jaluko, Muaro Jambi. Peneliti menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif di lapangan. Metode yang diterapkan adalah observasi; lebih khusus lagi, Pengamatan Langsung di mana peneliti secara langsung mengamati subyek sementara juga melakukan dokumentasi, tes tertulis dan lisan, dan wawancara. Peneliti menemukan bahwa studi kosa kata di MTsN Jaluko menggunakan beberapa metode pengajaran, beberapa di antaranya adalah metode pengajaran langsung, metode pengajaran tata bahasa, metode terjemahan, metode membaca, dan metode fonetik. Beberapa teknik yang digunakan adalah mendengarkan kata, spasi kata, pemahaman kata, membaca kata, menulis kata, dan membuat kata. Model pelatihan yang digunakan di MTsN Jaluko Muaro Jambi adalah praktik pola, praktik percakapan, drama, pidato. Materi pemahaman kosakata yang digunakan di MTsN Jaluko Muaro Jambi adalah pidato, mufradat dan struktur kata, bahan bacaan dan Insya 'Muwajjah. Aktualisasi Total Quality Management dalam Meningkatkan Profesionalisme Guru di Lembaga Pendidikan Islam
The task of the teacher to give instructions and guide students for more progressive in their knowledge, skills and self-constructivity to develop their potential. The teacher carries out his duties requiring technical skills that are supported by certain personality attitudes, and are guided by a code of ethics at the institution where he works, especially in Islamic education institutions. Technical skills, personality attitudes, obedience to religious values should develop when teaching profession is supported, and the situation provides opportunities in a professional manner, and teacher can realize the vision and mission of teaching and simultaneously carry out the vision and targets of the educational institutions in which they work. Increased professionalism of teachers requires Total Quality Management (TQM) which aims to encourage management to work in total to improve quality, quality assurance and provide satisfaction to customers; parents, students themselves and other stakeholders. Assessing the Teacher’s Performance in Teaching English Reading at Private Islamic High School Sabilul Muttaqin Kuala Tungkal Jambi
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas proses penilaian kinerja guru dalam mengajar membaca teks atau naskah berbahasa Inggris di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta (MAS) Sabilul Muttaqin Kuala Tungkal, Tanjung Jabung Barat, Jambi. Menggunakan metode deskriptif, campuran kualitatif dan kuantitatif dan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dengan para guru, serta melakukan survei dan kuesioner dengan 124 siswa, dan dokumentasi, penelitian ini menemukan semua guru yang mengajar membaca teks berbahasa Inggris di MAS Sabilul Muttaqin memiliki kinerja dan kompetensi yang baik dalam mengajar mata pelajaran tersebu
Profil Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematika dengan Pembelajaran Joyful Learning Berbasis Konteks Budaya Melayu
The research underlying this paper is descriptive qualitative research conducted through three stages, the pre-field stage, the stage of field-work, and the data analysis stage. The subjects in this study were six students of grade seven Islamic Junior High School or Madrasah Tsanawiyah Yaspi Labuhan Medan with two subjects capable of good mathematical communication, two subjects with sufficient communication skills, and two subjects with less communication skills. Subject selected through purposive sampling. Based on the research, were obtained: first, there is a positive change in the ability of students to communicate mathematics after being given joyful learning based on the context of Malay culture; second, the process of student answers shows that subjects are better able to communicate mathematical questions after being given joyful learning based on Malay cultural context. Furthermore, this research recommended that teachers can use joyful learning based on cultural contexts by presenting problems related to local culture as an alternativelearning
Membangun Pendidikan Karakter di Era Digital
Modern technology has enabled the creation, cross-country, free communication across rural areas and densely populated areas in cities. Through connection devices with internet capabilities, social media such as facebook, twitter, Instagram and whatsapp also reach all corners, but on the other hand interfere the focus of learning millennial generation. The new media even offers new characters through shows good and beautiful. This paper aims to unravel the opportunities and challenges of character education in the current digital era. Character education have to be carried out simultaneously. In the context of Indonesia based on noble values contained in Islamic teachings, Pancasila, Basic Law of 1945, Sumpah Pemuda spirit, the views and thoughts of the nation’s leaders, and values of local wisdom. The process must be developed in order character education run simultaneously is through participatory, involving multi-parties and humanists based on Islamic and Indonesian values
Korelasi Kompetensi Pedagogik dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kreativitas Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kota Jambi
This study aims to determine: the relationship of pedagogic competence to the creativity of PAI Teachers in junior high schools throughout Jambi; the relationship of work motivation to the creativity of Guru PAI in junior high school in Jambi City; the relationship of pedagogic competence and work motivation to the creativity of PAI Teachers in junior high school all Jambi city together. This research is a quantitative research with correlational approach. The population in this research is all Islamic Religious Education Teachers in junior high school in Jambi City, the sample in this research is 58 teachers. Data collected through questionnaire. Data analysis technique using data normality test analysis, data linearity test, partial correlation test and multiple test. Hypothesis testing using path analysis with significance level a = 0,05. Three conclusions of the research are: 1) there is a positive and significant relationship between Pedagogic Competence with Teacher Creativity with correlation coefficient of 0.728 and contribution 53,1%. 2), a positive relationship between Work Motivation with Teacher Creativity with Coefficient correlation of 0,575 and contribution 31,3%. 3), it was also found positive relationship between Pedagogic Competence and Work Motivation with Teacher Creativity with a correlation coefficient of 0.767 and 58.8% contribution. The conclusion of this research is that there is a relationship between pedagogic competence and work motivation with teacher's creativity in teaching
Efektivitas Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Teknis Petugas Lapangan Keluarga Berencana Kota Jambi
The research is based on the increasing target and level of achievement of work plans for family planning or Keluarga Berencana (KB) field officers, so that education and training are needed to improve their competencies. This study aims to look at the effectiveness of technical education and training in family planning field training in improving the quality of family planning services in Jambi City. The study was conducted in qualitative method and data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the research that has been done, it is found that 1) education and training for family planning field officers is a program that aims to increase capacity and knowledge so that services to the community increase, 2) there are still many field workers who have not received education and training in program services KKBPK, 3) coverage of the task area is still limited and transportation is minimal
Tantangan dan Peluang Pendidikan Islam pada Era Milenial
The millennial era presents new challenges and opportunities in the field of education. Information technology is a marker. Post modern culture and information globalization interact and have been integrated in education. Even though the millennial era has had a positive impact, this era is also closely related to work ethic, ethics and moral issues. The ease of information and technology that gives birth to laziness, not thinking deeply, not down to earth or not caring about the environment, tend to want to be free, westernized, and sometimes violate ethics. This paper through the author's reflection on the literature relating to Islamic education, aims to unravel the challenges and opportunities of Islamic education in the millennial era. The opportunity for Islamic education based on the integralism spirit of education is increasingly greater to be the main choice of this millennial era education, even though the challenges that will be faced are also getting harder
Manajemen Kepala Kantor Kementerian Agama Kota Jambi dalam Peningkatan Pelayanan Publik Bidang Pendidikan Agama Islam
This study aims to examine the effort to improve public services in the field of Islamic education consists of curriculum and evaluation areas, educators and education personnel, facilities and infrastructure, student, institutional and information systems. This study uses qualitative descriptive methods through observation and indepth interviews with the Head of the Office of Religious Affairs Jambi City as key informant. Another informants are Head of Administration of sub-section, Section Head of the Madrasah Education, employees, and society. Furthermore, the technique of collecting data using interviews, observations and documentation study and data analysis. This research found that first, the Head Office of Religious Affairs Jambi City has a strategy to increase public services in the field of Islamic education, but the Head of the Office of Religious Affairs in Jambi City only involves some personnel clerks. Second, the implementation of public services in the field of Islamic education have not obtained good results, there are still dissatisfaction among Islamic teacher with the services provided by employees of Religious Office; Third, evaluation made by the Head Office of the Ministry of Religious Jambi in religious education public services have not been satisfactory, the gap between planning and implementation still happened in the field of Islamic education
Manajemen Kepala Sekolah dalam Pengelolaan Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Sekolah SMA Negeri 10 Tanjung Jabung Timur
This study aims to examine the management of the Principal towards the school's income and expenditure budget (APBS) at Public High School or SMAN 10 East Tanjung Jabung, Jambi. The research was motivated by 1) APBS planning carried out by the Principal was only formulated by school managerial decision makers, was not discussed openly with all existing human resources, 2) there was still limited training by the Principal regarding the preparation of the APBS, 3) Principals had difficulty adjusting the APBS plan with needs, and 4) the assessment of the implementation of the APBS is not effective. This research uses qualitative methods that are based on the philosophy of postpositivism. Data is obtained through participation observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research, it is known that the sources and budget allocations are still limited. there are still problems with the process, namely: a) Still difficult for budget users to specify budget requirements, b) The ability of administrative personnel to manage BOS is limited, c) school budget allocation as a source of school development is still not in accordance with the real needs of schools and d) Limitations of school principals carry out continuous monitoring. Planning activities are still not detailed, the implementation has been carried out in accordance with the planning, and the APBS evaluation has been carried out effectively
