    Analisis Stabilitas Dinding Penahan Tanah Model Kantilever Sungai Sesaot Kabupaten Lombok Barat

    Kondisi Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) di kawasan hutan Sesaot masih tergolong baik berdasarkan penilaian metode PALA dan Model Flow Persistence. Kawasan hutan Sesaot merupakan wilayah hulu dari sub-DAS Jangkok. Analisis ini bertujuan untuk mendapakan hasil desain dinding penahan tanah dengan model kantilever dengan bahan material beton dan batu kali dengan variasi ketinggian yang berbeda-beda sesuai dengan kondisi tofografi di setiap cros-sextion, serta Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB) dengan standar analisis harga satuan deaerah tahun 2021. Analisis hidrologi menunjukkan bahwa debit banjir menggunakan metode Nakayasu untuk kala ulang 100 tahun sebesar 39.937 m3/det dengan probablitas maksimum flood sebesar 141. 769 m3/det. Metode Penggalan (Metode Muskingum Konvensional) dengan jarak penggalan 20 km dari arah Titik Nol Daerah Aliran Sungai, banjir yang melimpah diatas Spilwai Bendung Sesaot sebesar 10.64 m3/det. Analisis penggalan dari  STA 0 - 65 menggunakan dinding penahan tanah  bahan material batukali,  STA 65 - 100, dinding penahan tanah tipe kantilever beton bertulang mutu K225.  STA 100 - 400, tipe dinding penahan gabungan antara dinding penahan tanah tipe kantilever beton, dan batu kali.   Besarnya rencana anggaran biaya diperkirakan sebesar Rp.1,058,491,500.00 (satu milyar lima puluh delapan juta empat ratus sembilan puluh satu ribu limaratus rupiah).The condition of the watershed (DAS) in the Sesaot forest area is still classified as good based on the assessment of the PALA method and the Flow Persistence Model. The Sesaot forest area is the upstream area of ​​the Jangkok sub-watershed. This analysis aims to obtain the results of the design of a retaining wall with a cantilever model with concrete and river stone materials with different height variations according to topographic conditions in each cross-section, as well as a Cost Budget Plan (RAB) with standard unit price analysis for the year area. 2021. Hydrological analysis shows that:, flood discharge using the Nakayasu method for a 100 year return period is 39,937 m3/s, with a maximum flood probability of 141,769 m3/s. Fragmental Method (Conventional Muskingum Method) with a cut-off distance of 20 km from the zero point of the watershed, overflowing flood over Spilwai Sesaot weir of 10.64 m3/s. Sectional analysis  from STA 0 - 65 using retaining wall made of limestone, STA 65 to 100 retaining wall of cantilever type reinforced concrete with K225 quality. STA 100 - 400 type retaining wall combined between soil retaining wall type cage lever concrete and river stone. The amount of the budget plan is estimated at Rp.1,058,491,500.00 (One Billion Fifty-Eight Million Four Hundred Ninety-One Thousand Five Hundred Rupiah)

    Taman Restoratif: Kriteria Desain Taman untuk Mengurangi Tingkat Stress Pengunjung

    Urban parks are public recreational facilities that can provide many benefits, reducing stress from fatigue. However, some urban parks are not frequently visited because it feels very dark inside so that many parks are unkempt and empty of visitors. This study aims to determine how the comparison of park visitors' perceptions at different levels of closure based on the sense of security and restoration they received. This research is experimental in nature, so respondents are asked to rate several edited photos to determine the optimal combination of closure. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires online for two weeks (N = 272). Furthermore, the data were processed through the ANOVA test to see which combination of enclosure was rated the highest and the lowest based on perceived savety and restoration. The results show that visitors’ perceived safety can be achieved by applying a combination of closeness 8 (high density, far position, medium scale (6 meters)) and 9 (medium density, close position, high scale (9 meters)), while visitors’ perceived restoration tends to the same and not tied to different combinations of closure. The implementation of this study is how to design the tree enclosure in urban parks to increase the participation of residents visiting the park. Urban parks that are frequently visited will be sustainable in future, so maintaining parks can be started from designing enclosure of parks

    Karakteristik Arsitektural Bangunan Indis Pada Perumahan Pegawai PJKA Pengok Blok A & B di Yogyakarta

    Indis house is a designation for the living house that occupied by both Dutch and the Indo-Dutch that built in the Dutch Colonial age in style of combining between Europe architectural forms especially Dutch and local architectural (Java). This combining created architectural characteristics of Indis house that are different from traditional house. In planning and designing process, Indis house is influenced by many factors such as the condition of surroundings, tropical climate which are very different from the climate in Netherland, social status, and also combining forms between Europe architecture and local architecture. The housing of Pegawai Perusahaan Jawatan Kereta Api Pengok at block A and B in Yogyakarta as one of the Indis housing of Dutch Colonial inheritance has uniqueness that reflected on its setting whith background of many factors influenced it. This literatur uses rationalistic-qualitative metheod in approach to theoretical framework that is built base on assessment parameters of architectural characterictics of living house according to Habraken (1978) including spatial system, physical system, and stylistic system. The Housing of PJKA Pengok at Block A and B in Yogyakarta was influenced by arhitectural style from two periods of Indis architecture development in Indonesia, the first one is the period in 1800-1902 (the Empire Style), and the second one is the period in 1902-1920. It most influnced by sosial status of users that reflected on its physical building setting. This sosial status prevailed to inner that reflected on distinct separation between hoodgebouw and bijgebouw, and also the social status prevailed to outside was inter-occupants of the houses location based on level of positions in Centrale Werkplaats (Balai Yasa). Another factor that also influenced the architectural characteristics is local climate that makes this housing looks in characterictics of tropical house. Climate aspect is an essential consideration in Indis house as an effort to create freshness inside the house. Next, combining factors between Ducth architectural forms and the traditional (Java) also influenced the architectural setting. Europe forms seem at building elements like door, window, luifel, gevel, chimney, and floor while the local ones seem at pattern of figure ground, the existence of open space in form of front veranda, the compositition of open space and building, and also vegetation

    Literatur Review: TEKNOLOGI dalam DOKUMENTASI BANGUNAN PUSAKA

    Heritage buildings are assets for a city. Heirlooms are relics of the past, where the work has historical value, ideas that are useful for further human sustainability. According to the 2013 Heritage City Preservation Charter, inventory and documentation are instruments for structuring and preserving heritage cities. This writing examines the role of digital documentation in heritage buildings with a literature review study. Synthesize articles published from 2017 to 2020, with the appropriate number of articles being 5 pieces. All of the dominant articles raised issues regarding the diversity of heritage building documentation, both digital and manual. This diversity has the potential to increase the accuracy of the identification of heritage buildings. The findings from the synthesized articles create models or schemes to increase the effectiveness of these digital documents in addition to complementing existing documents. The potential for the existence of digital documentation as the beginning of the management of the library building is open to carrying out many activities to improve digital documentation and collaborate with it.Bangunan pusaka menjadi asset bagi sebuah kota. Pusaka merupakan peninggalan masa lalu, dimana hasil karya tersebut memiliki nilai sejarah, pemikiran yang berguna keberlanjutan manusia selanjutnya. Menurut Piagam Pelestaian Kota Pusaka 2013, inventarisasi dan dokumentasi menjadi instrument penataan dan pelestarian kota puska. Penulisan ini mengkaji peranan dokumentasi digital pada bangunan pusaka dengan studi literatur review. Melakukan sintesis artikel yang terbit dari tahun 2017 sampai dengan 2020, dengan jumlah artikel yang sesuai sebanyak 5 buah. Kesemua artikel dominan mengangkat permasalahan tentang keberagaman dokumentasi bangunan pusaka baik digital dan manual. Keberagaman tersebut menjadi potensi untuk meningkatkan akurasi identifikasi bangunan pusaka. Temuan dari artikel yang disintesis membuat model atau skema untuk meningkatkan efektifitas dokumen digital tersebut selain melengkapi dokumen yang sudah ada.     Kehidupan kita saat ini sangat tergantung pada kesediaan sumber energi, yang Sebagian besar berasal dari sumber energi fosil baik untuk pembangkit listrik maupun untuk penggunaan lainnya. Keterbatasan sumber energi fosil tersebut menjadi alas an mengapa kita harus menghemat energi. Diketahui bahwa penghematan energi listrik pada bangunan Apartemen dapat dilakukan pada sistim penerangan dan sistim pendingin udara. Dari penelitian dapat ini dapat dilihat bahwa penghematan pada sistim penerangan dapat dilakukan dengan penggantian lampu softone 40 watt menjadi lampu Flourescent (TL) 7 watt. Demikian juga sistim pendingin atau Air Conditioning (AC) dapat diakukan dengan mengurangi waktu operasional AC dan mengganti media pendinginnya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Apartemen Eksekutif Menteng dengan menganalisa data-data mengenai langka-langkah penghematan energid dari mulai tahun 2008 sampai dengan tahun 2010.Our Life is very dependent on the availability of energy sources , which mostly  comes from fossil energy sources for electricity generation for other uses. The limited fossil energy sources is the reason why we should sdave energy. It is known that electrical energy saving in apartement buildings can be performed on a lighting system and air cooling system.  From this research can be seen that saving on lighting system can be performed with 40 watt lamp replacement softone become compact fluorescent lamps (TL) 7 watts. Also in the cooling system or air conditioning (AC) electrical energy savings by reducing operating time and replace the air conditioning cooling media.     Vernacular and Environmentally Friendly Architecture Studies at the Mataram University Campus Building

    Perkembangan tampilan gedung-gedung baru di lingkungan Universitas Mataram satu dekade terakhir menampakkan adanya pergeseran ke arah bentuk dan material kekinian yang menghasilkan fasad/tampilan sangat berbeda dengan gedung-gedung yang ada sebelumnya. Hal ini menghadirkan kekhawatiran bila dibiarkan berkelanjutan maka Universitas Mataram sebagai salah satu perguruan tinggi negeri di Nusa Tenggara Barat akan kehilangan jati diri atau identitasnya.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji ciri atau kriteria arsitektur vernakular dan ramah lingkungan yang dapat diterapkan pada gedung kampus Universitas Mataram dan mengevaluasinya pada gedung lama dan gedung baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan mengkaji literatur dan mengevaluasi bangunan berdasarkan kriteria yang didapatkan. Gedung perpustakaan mewakili gedung lama dan gedung Fisipol mewakili gedung baru sebagai gedung-gedung yang dikaji. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa gedung perpustakaan dan Fisipol memenuhi kriteria atau ciri arsitektur vernakular yang sama walau secara visual keduanya tampak berbeda. Akan tetapi, gedung perpustakaan memenuhi kriteria arsitektur ramah lingkungan lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan gedung Fisipol yang merupakan bangunan baru. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan penelitian arsitektur vernakular sebagai identitas kampus-kampus baru di Indonesia. Penelitian ini masih banyak kekurangan sehingga membutuhkan lebih banyak kajian yang serupa.  In the last  decade, the  development of new buildings in Mataram University has shown a shift towards contemporary forms and materials which results a quite different facade / appearance from the existing buildings.  The situation raises an awareness that if it is allowed to continue, Mataram University as one of the state universities in West Nusa Tenggara will lose its identity. This study aims to examine the characteristics of vernacular and environmentally friendly architecture that can be applied to Mataram University’s building and evaluate it in the old and new buildings. This study uses a qualitative method, by reviewing the literature and evaluating the building based on the criteria obtained. The library building represents the old building and the Fisipol building represents the new building as subjects studied. Data analysis was done by descriptively qualitatively. The results show that the library building and Fisipol meet the same criteria or vernacular architectural characteristics even though visually the buildings look different. However, the library building meets the criteria for environmentally friendly architecture compared to Fisipol building, which is a new building. This study is expected to increase research on vernacular architecture as the identity of new campuses in Indonesia. This research still has many shortcomings, therefore it requires more similar studies in the future. &nbsp

    Karakteristik Permukiman Kota yang Memiliki Potensi Usaha Berbasis Rumah Tangga

    Urban settlement is a built environment in an urban area that plays a role in determining the structure and identity of the city. The urban settlement area is currently not only used as a residence equipped with facilities and infrastructure to meet the living needs of the residents who live in it, but also to meet their economic needs. Urban settlements have certain characteristics based on the community and activities in them so that they can become the identity of the area. The existence of the Mutiara, Gold and Silver industrial clusters in Sekabela sub-district, Mataram city has implications for the surrounding settlements, both in economic, environmental and social aspects. The emergence of slum settlements in the residences around the Pearl, Gold and Silver industry causes less optimal representation of the area as a shopping tourism area. This study aims to determine the characteristics of settlements with household-based business potential and development strategies. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with primary and secondary data collection and analysis of Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threat. The results showed that the characteristics of the settlement were based on physical characteristics, namely: building layout, housing, facilities and infrastructure as well as the environment and non-physical characteristics, namely: the community and the activities that took place in it. The area development strategy based on settlement characteristics is in quadrant IV, namely the Competitive Strategy.     Manusia adalah makhluk sosial yang seringkali melakukan sebuah perjalanan, hingga keluar dari lingkungannya.  Perbedaan masyarakat yang menempati suatu wilayah akan mempengaruhi budaya yang dihasilkan, baik itu intangible maupun tangible.  Terkait hal tersebut, suatu perjalanan seringkali melalu rute panjang yang membutuhkan tempat beristirahat sementara (disebut rest area), yang diletakkan di titik-titik lelah para pelaku perjalanan.  Rest area merupakan salah satu ‘gerbang’ ketika pelaku perjalanan memasuki suatu daerah tertentu, sehingga rest area harus mampu merepresentasikan budaya setempat karena rest area digunakan sebagai salah satu perwujudan identitas daerah.  Konsep Arsitektur Regionalisme-Kontemporer dipandang sesuai karena melalui konsep ini akan digali karakteristik wilayah setempat untuk dapat diterapkan dalam perwujudan suatu desain, sehingga mampu merepresentasikan identitas wilayah, tanpa meninggalkan visi tentang masa depan (modern).  Konsep ini akan diterapkan dalam perencanaan rest area yang berada di Jalur Jalan Lintas Selatan (JJLS) di wilayah Purworejo, Jawa Tengah. Differences in the people who occupy an area will affect the resulting culture, both intangible and tangible. Related to this, a trip often takes a long route that requires a temporary resting place (called a rest area), which is placed at the tired points of the travelers. The rest area is one of the 'gateways' when travelers enter a certain area, so the rest area must be able to represent the local culture because the rest area is used as a manifestation of regional identity. The concept of Regionalism-Contemporary Architecture is considered appropriate because through this concept the characteristics of the local area will be explored to be applied in the embodiment of a design, so as to represent the identity of the region, without leaving a vision of the future (modern). This concept will be applied in planning the rest area on the Southern Cross Road (JJLS) in the Purworejo area, Central Java.
