Takwa: Landasan Spiritual dalam Menghadapi Ketimpangan Ekonomi dan Mewujudkan Keadilan Sosial

This research examines the role of piety in promoting social justice, with a particular focus on the growing economic inequality in society. Piety, defined as moral and spiritual awareness of responsibility to God, is expected to motivate individuals and communities to act justly and contribute to the improvement of social welfare. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study integrates the concept of piety with the theory of social justice proposed by John Rawls, which emphasizes the importance of fair and equitable distribution of resources. The results show that piety has great potential as a driver of inclusive and equitable social policies, encouraging individuals to care more about others. However, challenges in its implementation, including ambiguity in understanding and misuse of piety values to justify injustice, remain to be overcome for piety to truly become a tool for change. The findings are expected to make a significant contribution to the development of more just and equitable public policies, and inspire concrete actions in a more prosperous society

The high/scope approach is a type of approach that involves children actively interacting with their surroundings in order to increase their knowledge. Beyond Centers and Circle Time (BCCT) is an approach that places more emphasis on focusing and exploring the child's environment in increasing knowledge

Exploring The Antecedents of Cash Waqf Giving Behavior; The Empirical Study in West Kalimantan, Indonesia

West Kalimantan's waqf development is less satisfactory. This is evident from the fact that this province occupies the 21st position out of 34 provinces based on the National Waqf Index (IWN). Therefore, the study seeks to discover how variables such as knowledge, Islamic religiosity, and self-efficacy influence cash waqf-giving behavior, moderated by green subjective norms. A self-managed questionnaire was used to collect primary data from 383 different types of respondents. Then, the data was deployed by constructing structural equation modeling (SEM) to verify the determinant factors that influence the use of cash waqf instruments. It is discovered that the entire set of antecedents has a significant impact on explaining cash waqf-giving behavior. Furthermore, the influence of green subjective norms on cash waqf giving behavior has the highest coefficient of regression, implying that Nazir must use influential people both within the family and in the larger community to promote cash waqf so that people are willing to donate their wealth in cash waqf in the end. This study also provides a new perspective on how the social psychological aspect is important to improving the cash waqf fundraising strategy and, as a result, will increase the ranking of IWN West Kalimantan

These results serve as a reference for teachers in integrating more creative approaches to build students' learning enthusiasm in a sustainable manner

The Self-Concept Formation Based On Sufism In Overcoming Moral Deviance Among Santri: A Case Study At Al-Inaroh Islamic Boarding School

This study aims to explore how the formation of self-concept based on Sufism can address moral deviations among students (santri) at Islamic boarding schools. Conducted at Pondok Pesantren Al-Inaroh, the research investigates the integration of Sufi teachings into the institution's character development framework. A qualitative case study approach was employed, utilizing participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis to collect both primary and secondary data. The findings indicate that the internalization of core Sufi values—such as muraqabah (spiritual vigilance), muhasabah (self-reflection), and zuhud (detachment from worldly desires)—plays a critical role in cultivating spiritual awareness among students. This awareness positively shapes their self-concept, which, in turn, acts as a preventive mechanism against moral deviations. The research highlights the significant impact of Sufism-based education in fostering a strong moral foundation within the pesantren environment. By offering insights into how spiritually grounded educational models contribute to moral development, the study presents a valuable approach for addressing moral deviance and strengthening character education in Islamic boarding schools

Challenges Of Religion and Identity Politics In Indonesia: The Role Of Islamic Religious Education

The relationship between religion and society in Indonesia is deeply embedded in the daily lives of its citizens, influencing social interactions, political participation, and cultural dynamics. This interconnection encourages active cooperation and mutual understanding between religious groups, fostering an environment of shared aspirations. However, in the contemporary context, the intersection of religion and politics has become increasingly aligned with the political identity of the population, often complicating interfaith relations. This study explores the political identity of Indonesian citizens in relation to their religious affiliations, emphasizing how these identities shape public interactions and influence societal harmony. Using a qualitative approach with literature-based data, this research analyzes how identity politics in Indonesia is articulated and expressed in a manner that could potentially disrupt the inter-religious relationships established over time. The findings suggest that the expression of identity politics remains immature and poorly executed, which threatens the interfaith harmony that Indonesia has long nurtured. Therefore, identity politics must be approached and articulated in alignment with universal principles and the common good to ensure peaceful coexistence and national unity
