This research was conducted in order to improve students' speaking skills through lecture techniques in public speaking extracurricular classes at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Tarbiyatusshibyan. In conducting this research, the researcher used descriptive qualitative methods with case studies. To achieve the expected conclusions, appropriate strategies are needed so that good language comprehension can improve students' public speaking skills, and technical preparation is needed in the learning process. For example, students were given texts to speak from and received guidance from teachers before delivering their speeches. The results of the implementation showed that in a short period of time, students were able to speak well. Not only that, but this method also made students more confident
Legal Education on the Urgency of Marriage Dispensation: A Review of Maṣlaḥah Mursalah and Positive Law
The current surge in requests for marriage dispensations among the public has attracted considerable interest in further examining the situation. This community service aims to provide insight and knowledge based on an analysis of the essence of marriage dispensations from an Islamic legal perspective. This activity was conducted online using the Zoom platform. This community service delivered legal dissemination by providing a review of court decisions regarding marriage dispensations for young men and women in the Karang Taruan community of Sidoharjo Village, Sragen. This community service material provides an analysis of the essence of dispensations granted for various reasons, such as premarital pregnancy, arranged marriages, and economic constraints. Dispensations have both positive impacts and negative impacts. In Islamic law, there is no specific age limit for marriage. The views of contemporary scholars vary. This research is expected to provide recommendations for Religious Courts to prioritize the interests of children, as well as the need for education on the negative impacts of early marriage as a provision and capital for children in the future, so as to minimize the risk of increasing early marriage and realize marriages that comply with religious law and state regulations. This community service activity has had a positive impact on youth Karang Taruna with a significant increase in the level of understanding and critical awareness of participants regarding the legal and sociological aspects and the negative impacts of disproportionate marriage dispensations
Strategic Management Practices In Accreditation And Post-Visitation Phases: A Case Of PKBM Al Ghoutsillah
This study investigates the institutional management strategies of PKBM Al Ghoutsillah in preparing for and responding to the accreditation visitation process. Employing a qualitative case study design, data were gathered through in-depth interviews, non-participant observations, and document analysis involving seven key informants: the head of the institution, administrative personnel, and senior tutors. Data analysis followed the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña interactive model, encompassing data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate three key dimensions. First, accreditation success was achieved through the effective execution of the POAC management cycle—Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling. Second, responsive leadership was instrumental in shaping an adaptive organizational culture, promoting collective accountability and institutional flexibility in addressing accreditation feedback. Third, the post-visitation phase demonstrated adaptive crisis management and the strategic use of digital-based documentation systems, facilitating rapid institutional improvement within limited timeframes. Comparative analysis with prior studies on school and madrasah accreditation highlights PKBM Al Ghoutsillah as a best-practice model for non-formal education institutions. Theoretically, this study contributes to the discourse on educational management by elucidating the interrelation between responsive leadership and adaptive culture within the POAC framework. Practically, it offers a replicable model for transforming accreditation from a compliance-oriented procedure into a developmental and sustainable quality assurance mechanism in non-formal education settings

This study aims to describe the implementation model of an integrated Islamic Religious Education (IRE) curriculum at SD Abata Islamic School Karawang. The background of this study is the need to strengthen the synergy between IRE learning and general subjects and Islamic values to support student character development. The research method used a qualitative case study approach with the main techniques of participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, involving a total of 15 informants consisting of the principal, IRE teachers, classroom teachers, curriculum coordinators, students, and parents. The results showed that the PAI curriculum integration model comprised three main components: (1) the development of learning themes that linked PAI competencies with cross-subject competencies; (2) collaboration among teachers in designing contextual and Islamic-based learning; and (3) evaluation that covered cognitive, affective, and spiritual aspects. This implementation model was carried out consistently for one semester based on a cycle of planning, implementation, and evaluation. As a result, the application of the integrated curriculum model was proven to improve students' understanding of religious values, strengthen attitudes of tolerance and discipline, and support the achievement of more holistic learning outcomes. This study recommends that schools adopt this model as a framework for developing an integrated PAI curriculum and provide ongoing training for teachers to optimize its implementation

Kingship and Monarchy In The Brunei Sultanate
This article delves into the intricate components that define the institution of kingship and monarchy in Brunei Darussalam. The focal points of this discussion revolve around the concepts of God-king (dewaraja), sovereign (daulat), and treachery (derhaka), which was influenced during the Indianisation period. These foundational principles were subsequently influenced by the advent of Islam in the region. To comprehensively analyse the concept of kingship, we will explore Geertz’s Negara System and Milner’s Kerajaan System of Government. Furthermore, another key aspect to consider is the formation of the army, comprising soldiers who pledged their loyalty to various leaders rather than exclusively to the Sultan. These intriguing dynamic highlights the existence of distinct power structures and allegiances within the governance framework. Consequently, the army's allegiance, though not solely tied to the Sultan, played a crucial role in shaping the institution of kingship during the 16th to 19th centuries in the Brunei Malay Sultanate. By examining these interconnected components—God-king, sovereign, treachery, the Negara System, the System of Malay Sultanate Government, and the army—we gain a deeper understanding of the institution of kingship and the governance of the Brunei Malay Sultanate during its historical zenith. These elements collectively underpinned the socio-political fabric of the Brunei Malay Sultanate, reflecting the complex interplay of religious, cultural, and power dynamics within the kingdo
Building Shadow City: The Social and Cultural Effects of National Capital Relocation on National Unity.
The relocation of a capital city is a strategic decision that can have significant impacts on the social and cultural aspects of a country. This research will focus on the concept of "building shadow cities" that emerges as an alternative in addressing the relocation of a capital city. In this context, shadow cities refer to the development of new cities that serve as centers of administration and government, supporting the gradual relocation of the capital. This concept is designed to minimize the disruptions that may arise from a direct capital city relocation while maintaining and strengthening national unity. This paper will discuss the socio-cultural impacts of the relocation of a capital city and the implementation of the shadow city concept. The relocation of a capital city has complex impacts on national unity. The socio-cultural effects of the capital city relocation can have positive or negative consequences depending on factors such as the management of national identity, respect for cultural diversity, and public participation in the relocation process. Therefore, it is important for the government and society to actively manage the capital city relocation by considering the potential social and cultural impacts and ensuring that the steps taken aim to strengthen national unity and preserve the cultural diversity of the country. The relocation can impact cultural diversity and interactions among different societal groups in the shadow city. Additionally, aspects of infrastructure and city development will also be taken into consideration. In the context of this research, we will study how the development of shadow cities can create new job opportunities, improve quality of life, and strengthen the local economy. The environmental impacts of the capital city relocation will also be evaluated, with a focus on environmental protection and sustainable efforts in shadow city development. The research will utilize a descriptive qualitative research method aimed at systematically, factually, and accurately portraying the phenomena or relationships under investigation
