Quo Vadis Pemutusan Hubungan Kerja Setelah Amar Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi Nomor 168/PUU-XXI/2023
After the Constitutional Court (MK) published Decision Number 168/PUU-XXI/2023, which was read aloud in an open plenary session of the Constitutional Court on October 31, 2024, employment law standards underwent changes. The court stressed that employers and employees must engage in bipartite discussions through debate to reach an agreement if workers/laborers reject Termination of Employment (PHK). Additionally, the layoff can only be carried out following a decision from an industrial relations dispute resolution body whose ruling has permanent legal force (inkracht) if bipartite negotiations fail to result in an agreement. With a focus on the inventory of positive law, legal doctrine, and principles, this study employs a normative legal method. Employers must therefore take into account the following dynamics: employers are not allowed to implement layoffs until they have received a decision from an industrial relations dispute resolution body that has permanent legal force, and every worker rejection of layoffs must be preceded by bipartite negotiations through deliberation to reach consensus

The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method and questionnaire data collection from 42 respondents. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that organizational culture and employee discipline have a positive and significant effect on apparatus performance, with t-values of 4.535 (p = 0.000) and 2.217 (p = 0.033), respectively. In contrast, performance-based budgeting does not have a significant effect (t = 0.239; p = 0.813). Simultaneously, all three independent variables significantly affect the performance of government apparatus (F = 19.502; p < 0.001), with an adjusted R² value of 0.575. These findings indicate that organizational culture and discipline are the main determinants of government performance at the Social Service Office of West Aceh Regency
Desentralisasi Pendidikan melalui Kurikulum Muatan Lokal dalam Menjaga Kearifan Lokal di Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatra Utara
Decentralization of education empowers the North Sumatra Provincial Education Office to develop a local content curriculum to preserve local wisdom amidst the currents of modernization and globalization. However, its implementation faces obstacles such as limited resources, low stakeholder participation, and a lack of school and teacher preparedness. This study aims to describe the implementation of educational decentralization through a local content curriculum in preserving local wisdom. The method used is descriptive qualitative with informants from the Education Office officials, principals, teachers, students, and parents. The analysis uses the Lindblom incremental model with three indicators: adjustment to community needs, continuous renewal, and actor participation. The results show that the normative authority of the provincial government has not been optimal. Some high schools do not implement local content due to a lack of policy socialization. Implementation is more through the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) from the central government. Information transparency, provision of adequate resources, and increased community participation are needed for educational decentralization to effectively preserve local wisdom in North Sumatra
Efektivitas Metode Tahfidz Al-Qur’an dalam Pembelajaran Anak di Masjid Nabawi Madinah
This study examines in depth the Qur'an memorization method applied to children at the Prophet's Mosque, one of the world's leading centers for Qur'an learning. The focus of the study is to analyze the approach used to facilitate the process of memorizing the Qur'an for young children, as well as the factors supporting its success. The main problem raised is how the tahfidz method at the Prophet's Mosque can maximize the memorization potential of children while maintaining the quality of reading and understanding. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results show that the tahfidz method at the Prophet's Mosque integrates three main components: (1) a classical system with group division based on ability, (2) a structured repetition technique (tikrar), and (3) individual mentoring by teachers who have passed special certification. In addition, the spiritual environment of the Prophet's Mosque and community support are key factors that strengthen children's motivation. Evaluation is carried out periodically through weekly and monthly memorization tests (simaan). The conclusion of this study confirms that the success of the tahfidz method at the Prophet's Mosque lies not only in memorization techniques, but also in creating a holistic learning ecosystem that integrates cognitive, spiritual, and social aspects. These findings can serve as a reference for other tahfidz institutions in developing effective learning systems
Penafsiran Ayat-Ayat Mutasyabihat dalam Kitab Ash-Shirat Al-Mustaqim Karya Syaikh Abdullah Al-Harari dan Implikasinya terhadap Akidah
This research aims to analyze the mutasyabihat verse in the book Ash Shirat Al Mustaqim by Shaykh Abdullah Al Harari and its implications for the faith. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data was obtained from primary data sources, namely the book Ash Shirat Al Mustaqim, published by Shaykh Abdullah Al Harari in 2002, and secondary data sources, namely books and journal articles. The results of the research show that in Ash-Shirath al-Mustaqim, Shaykh Abdullah al-Harari interpreted the mutasyabihat verse using tafwidh and ta’wil methods to maintain the faith of tajsim and emphasize the principle of tanzih. For example, Istiwa’ means mastering the ‘arsh, Wajh the direction of the Qibla, Nur the giver of guidance, Yad the power of Allah, and Ja’a the signs of Allah power. This interpretation emphasizes the ability of ta’wil so that the Ahlussunnah creed is maintained, according to the word of Allah laysa kamitslihi syai’
Praktik Gambling dalam Game Mobile Legends: Kajian Etika dalam Perspektif Tafsir Ayat Ahkam terhadap Mekanisme Gacha
The gacha mechanism is analyzed as a contemporary form of maysir (gambling) and gharar (uncertainty) that are forbidden, as they involve spending real treasures to acquire virtual items at random with low probability. The research uses a qualitative, descriptive-analytical approach with content analysis methods and in-depth interviews with Islamic legal experts. The results of the study show that gacha not only contradicts sharia principles, but also negatively impacts the consumptive, spiritual, and socio-economic behavior of players, especially generation Z. Evaluation based on sharia maqashid reveals that gacha threatens five main goals of sharia: religion, intellect, property, descent, and honor. The implications of the research emphasize the importance of strict regulation, probability transparency, Islamic financial literacy education, and the development of a more ethical game monetization model
Integration Of Multicultural Values Through Religious Holidays And Cultural Activities In Ngabang Elementry Schools
This study examines the implementation of multicultural education in a Public Elementary School in Ngabang District which has cultural, religious, and ethnic diversity. The results of the study indicate that the school has succeeded in integrating multicultural values through the Celebration of Religious Holidays and Cultural Activities . Religion, Culture, and Radicalism: Moderation Strategies in Multicultural Societies in An Era of Disruption
This research is driven by the urgent need to formulate religion- and culture-based moderation strategies as preventive and counter-radicalization efforts, particularly in light of the rising threat of intolerance and extremism in Indonesia. The primary aim of this study is to identify the contributing factors of radicalism in multicultural societies and to formulate effective and applicable moderation strategies within the framework of the disruptive era. This study employs a qualitative method using a moderative, religious, and cross-cultural approach, guided by Creswell’s framework. Data sources include scholarly literature, government policy documents (e.g., from Kemenag and BNPT), and digital religious-cultural content from social media and online platforms. Data collection was conducted through document analysis and digital observation using purposive sampling to ensure relevance to issues of radicalism and moderation in Indonesia. The data were analyzed thematically, following Creswell’s steps: organizing data, reading for general meaning, coding, developing themes, interpreting findings, and presenting results. The findings reveal that radicalism arises from weak religious literacy, cultural exclusivism, and social inequality, all of which are exacerbated by digital disinformation. Effective moderation strategies must include strengthening multicultural education, promoting interfaith dialogue, involving local religious and cultural leaders, and utilizing digital media for tolerance and inclusivity campaigns. Academically, this study holds strong urgency in enriching scientific discourse on religion and cross-cultural understanding and radicalism and in developing a contextual interdisciplinary approach for fostering a peaceful society amid the challenges of globalization
