    No full text
The food and beverage industry is a strategic sector that makes a significant contribution to the national economy. This growth is inseparable from the increasing population, increasingly widespread urbanization, and changes in people's lifestyles, which tend to prefer ready-to-eat food and practical drinks. Furthermore, the development of digital technology, particularly e-commerce and food delivery services, has opened up significant opportunities for companies to reach a wider market without geographical limitations. This study aims to determine the effect of the Current Ratio, Price to Book Value, and Debt to Equity Ratio on Return on Assets (in Food and Beverage Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2021-2023). The method used is quantitative descriptive analysis. The data used is secondary data in the form of annual financial reports obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analytical technique used is multiple linear regression analysis to test the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The results of the study show that partially, Current Ratio does not have a significant effect on ROA, Price to Book Value does not have a significant effect on ROA, Debt to Equity Ratio has a negative and significant effect on ROA. These findings provide implications for investors and management of Food and Beverage companies in considering the company's financial structure and operational efficiency in increasing profitability

The Impact of Changes in Short-Term Liabilities on the Share Price of PT XL Smart Tbk

    No full text
This study investigates the influence of short-term liabilities on the stock price of PT XL Smart Tbk over the period 2018–2025 using a simple linear regression framework based on 29 quarterly observations. Short-term liabilities are employed as the independent variable to assess the extent to which fluctuations in the company’s immediate financial obligations shape variations in its stock price. The regression results indicate a coefficient of –0.000309142, suggesting that an increase in short-term liabilities is associated with a decrease in stock price. However, the corresponding p-value of 0.117562308 demonstrates that this relationship is not statistically significant at the 5% significance level. The ANOVA output supports this finding, with a Significance F value of 0.117562308, indicating that the regression model does not provide sufficient explanatory power to establish a statistically meaningful relationship between the variables. The coefficient of determination (R Square = 0.0882633718) shows that only 8.83% of the variation in PT XL Smart Tbk’s stock price during 2018–2025 can be explained by short-term liabilities, while the remaining variation is influenced by macroeconomic conditions, sectoral dynamics within the telecommunications industry, market sentiment, and the firm’s operational performance. Although the effect is not statistically significant, the negative coefficient retains theoretical relevance within capital structure theories—particularly the Trade-Off Theory, Pecking Order Theory, and Signaling Theory—which posit that higher short-term financial obligations may elevate liquidity risk and potentially transmit adverse signals to investors

Gambaran Kadar Kalsium Pada Pasien Gagal Ginjal Kronik Penderita Anemia dan Non Anemia

Chronic Kidney Failure (CKD) can be defined as a decrease in the Kidney Filtration Rate (GFR) for ≥ 3 months which can later cause fluids, electrolytes and waste to accumulate in the body and cause various complications. One high-risk complication that can worsen the manifestations is Anemia. When the kidneys are damaged, the production of erythropoietin (the hormone that regulates erythrocyte production) will decrease, where if erythrocyte production is reduced then anemia occurs. Under normal circumstances, phosphate and calcium are in balance with a reciprocal relationship (pathonomonics). When GFR decreases, the concentration of phosphate in the plasma will increase, which will later combine with calcium to form calcium phosphate, so that the calcium concentration will decrease (Hypocalcemia). The aim of this study was to determine the description of calcium levels in CKD patients with Anemia and non-Anemia at the Bio Medika Kedoya Clinical Laboratory. This research was carried out descriptively using 202 secondary data from CKD patients suffering from anemia and non anemia taken from January 2022 - December 2023. The results of the study showed that 140 patients (69.3%) experienced hypocalcemia with the result of hypocalcemia in CKD patients who also suffered from anemia. many, namely 102 patients (50.5%) with an average calcium level of 8.37 mg/dL. The prevalence of male CKD patients was higher at 121 patients (59.9%) compared to female patients at 81 patients (40.1%). And based on age group, the highest percentage was found in elderly aged ≥ 60 years) as many as 172 patients (85.1%). From this research it can be concluded that it is important to carry out laboratory examinations for CKD diseases such as GFR because new symptoms can be felt when the condition gets worse and it is important to check for complications that may occur such as anemia and hypocalcemia which will later cause osteomalacia, osteoporosis and ectopic calcification. Keywords: Anemia, Chronic Kidney Failure, Calcium

Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) is an important component in supporting protection for workers. Lighting is an essential physical element in the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) program. Light intensity that does not meet standards can cause visual fatigue, decrease worker concentration levels, and increase the risk of unsafe conditions in the workplace. This study aims to determine the effect of lighting on unsafe conditions at PT. X. This study uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design, involving 80 respondents who were randomly selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires, then analyzed using a simple logistic regression test assisted by SPSS software. The results showed a statistically significant relationship between lighting and unsafe conditions (p = 0.002). Workers who work in areas with lighting levels that do not meet standards are 4.95 times more likely to experience unsafe conditions compared to those who work in areas with lighting according to regulations (Exp(B) = 4.951). Based on these findings, it is concluded that non-standard lighting significantly affects the occurrence of unsafe conditions, so it is necessary to adjust the lighting intensity in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower No. 5 of 2018 in order to create a safer and more comfortable working environment
