The Effect of Loan Interest Expense on Net Profit at PT Summarecon Agung Tbk
This study aims to analyze the effect of loan interest expense on net profit of PT Summarecon Agung Tbk in the period 2017 to 2024. In the capital-intensive property industry, the use of debt as a source of funding is common. However, increasing debt will result in interest expenses that can affect the company's financial performance, especially net profit. The data used in this study are loan expenses (financial costs) and net profit obtained from the company's financial statements. The simple linear regression method is used to test the relationship between the two variables. The results of the regression analysis show that there is an insignificant positive relationship between loan interest expense and net profit, with a coefficient of 0.4039 and a p-value of 0.3157. This indicates that every 1 unit increase in loan interest expense will increase net profit by 0.4039 units. In addition, the intercept value also has a high p-value (0.1931) indicating that other factors may also affect net profit. These findings indicate that interest expense is not the only factor that determines a company's net profit, and that external factors such as property market dynamics, monetary policy, and the company's internal operational strategy play a significant role. The low adjusted R-square value indicates that the independent variables in this study only explain a small part of the variation in net profit. The conclusion of this study is that loan interest expense can contribute to increasing net profit, but other external factors also need to be considered in the company's financial analysis
The Effect of Capital Structure on Business Risk as Measured Through the EBIT Variation Coefficient in Leading Food Companies on the IDX in the Post-Covid-19 Period of 2021–2023
The post-COVID-19 pandemic period of 2021–2023 has brought significant changes to the business world, including the food industry, which had previously been considered relatively stable and resilient to crises. This situation requires companies to adopt adaptive financial management, particularly in terms of capital structure. Capital structure, the balance of debt and equity funding, is a strategic aspect that determines a company's ability to maintain liquidity, operational flexibility, and profit stability. This study aims todetermine the effect of capital structure on business risk infood companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the post-pandemic period.Business risk is measured using the EBIT Variation Coefficient, while capitalstructure is measured using the leverage ratio. The analysis is conducted usinglinear regression with a series of classical assumption tests. The results show thatcapital structure has a positive and significant effect on business risk. The results of thet-test indicate that capital structure has a significant effect with a t-value of1.902 and a significance value of 0.023. The F-test also shows that the regression model issignificant with a significance value of 0.002, making the model suitable for use.Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination R² value of 0.195 shows thatcapital structure can explain 19.5% of business risk, while the rest isinfluenced by other factors outside the model. This finding confirms that the higherthe level of debt usage, the greater the risk of EBIT fluctuations that must beborne by the company
Examining the Effects of Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction, and Marketing Communication on Customer Loyalty in Consumer Finance
The consumer finance industry in Indonesia has become increasingly competitive due to the rapid growth of non-bank financial institutions and the widespread adoption of digital technology. The increasingly intense competition in the financial services industry requires companies to deliver high-quality services efficiently in order to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. In the context of consumer finance, rapid business expansion is often prioritized, while critical factors such as service quality, customer satisfaction, and effective marketing communication receive less attention. However, these factors play a crucial role in sustaining long-term customer loyalty and competitive advantage. This study aims to examine the effects of service quality, customer satisfaction, and marketing communication on customer loyalty in the consumer finance sector. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire administered to 100 customers of a consumer finance company in Indonesia. Multiple linear regression analysis was employed, along with tests of the coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing using SPSS 26.0. The results indicate that service quality, customer satisfaction, and marketing communication have a significant and positive effect on customer loyalty, with an adjusted R² value of 69.8%. The t-test results confirm the individual significance of each independent variable, while the F-test demonstrates the overall robustness of the regression model. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening service quality, enhancing customer satisfaction, and implementing effective marketing communication strategies to foster customer loyalty in the consumer finance industry
Improving the Effectiveness of Islamic Religious Education Learning Through Transformational Leadership, Implementation of Cooperative Learning Models, and Learning Motivation
The composed combination includes human elements, materials, facilities, equipment and procedures to change student behavior in a positive and better direction with the potential and differences that students have to achieve predetermined learning goals, this is what is meant by learning effectiveness . Learning effectiveness is an important element related to achieving educational goals. Religious subjects are learning that is always a benchmark for behavior and attitudes. It is known that the effectiveness of learning Islamic Religious Education subjects at private vocational schools in Bogor Regency is not as expected. Therefore, research is needed to obtain information on variables related to increasing learning effectiveness. The aim of this research is to carry out strategies and ways to increase learning effectiveness by conducting research on the influence between the implementation variables of the cooperative learning model, transformational leadership and learning motivation. This research uses the path analysis method to determine the influence between the variables studied and the SITOREM method for indicator analysis to obtain strategies and ways to increase learning effectiveness
Ivan Lanin's Instagram Account as a Medium for Learning Indonesian
Based on the researcher's observations in class IV of SDN 05 Kebon Pala, there were problems in learning Indonesian on the Enhanced Spelling material, as seen from the results of routine assessments that did not improve and there were difficulties for students in applying the correct EYD in making sentences and paragraphs. Enhanced Spelling (EYD) as a guideline for Indonesian spelling is a very important strategic step in strengthening the identity of the Indonesian language and culture. Consistency in the use of spelling will facilitate communication, increase international competitiveness, and strengthen the cultural identity of Alwi, Lapoliwa, and Moeliono. To overcome this, the researcher conducted classroom action research. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of learning videos from Instagram accounts, especially from the @ivanlanin account, has a positive effect on the learning outcomes of Indonesian on the EYD material of class IV of SDN 05 Kebon Pala. Students find it easier to understand the material because it uses attractive visual displays, the explanations are short, clear, and use language that they know every day. In addition, because the media comes from a platform that is familiar to them, students feel closer and do not feel like they are studying boringly. This result is also in accordance with the theory that states that interesting and relevant learning media to the world of students can increase their interest in learning and learning outcomes. Visionary Leadership in Improving the Quality of Students at the Al-Mujahadah Islamic Boarding School in Merangin, Jambi
Visionary leadership is a leader who cares, namely by changing institutions from stagnation to an extraordinary innovative education system. Visionary leadership is a very important approach in improving the quality of students at the Al-Mujahadah Islamic Boarding School. Islamic boarding schools as Islamic educational institutions need leaders who are able to provide long-term direction and vision to achieve better educational goals. This research aims to explore how visionary leadership can contribute positively to improving the quality of students at the Al-Mujahadah Islamic Boarding School. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data was collected through interviews, observation and analysis of related documents. The research results show that the visionary leadership implemented by the Al-Mujahadah Islamic Boarding School administrators has had a positive impact on the development and quality of the students. This visionary leadership is reflected in establishing a clear vision and mission, fostering creativity, and implementing learning programs that are relevant to the needs of students. The application of visionary leadership also creates an inclusive and supportive Islamic boarding school environment, motivating students to develop academic, social and spiritual potential. Apart from that, the success of the Islamic boarding school in achieving the goals of Islamic education is also proof of the effectiveness of the visionary leadership implemented at Al-Mujahadah Islamic Boarding School. In conclusion, visionary leadership at Al-Mujahadah Islamic Boarding School is able to make a significant contribution in improving the quality of students. Implementing a long-term vision, fostering creativity and contextual learning are the keys to success in forming quality students who are able to face the challenges of the times
Science and Technology for the Community Training in Building Modern Web Applications Quickly Using Laravel at SMKN 64 East Jakarta
SMKN 64 East Jakarta is a vocational school focused on developing students' technical skills. One of the areas of expertise is in computer skills, particularly in the Software Engineering program. A challenge faced by SMKN 64 East Jakarta is that students lack practical skills in web application development, especially in using modern frameworks such as Laravel, which are in high demand in the industrial sector. The school faces difficulties in preparing students to be more competitive in the job market. The proposed solution is to organise a training/workshop consisting of both lectures and hands-on, interactive practice sessions. The goal is for students to acquire the ability to build simple web applications, improve their understanding of software development, and increase their competitiveness. Through structured evaluations, this training is expected to have a positive impact on the quality of education and the technical skills of students at SMKN 64 East Jakarta. The expected outcomes for this Community Service activity include students being able to build simple web applications using Laravel, an improvement in their understanding of software development, and an enhancement of their competitiveness in the job market. Additionally, the expected outputs from this Community Service activity are: 1) An accredited ISSN journal/Scientific Publication, 2) A video of the activity, 3) Certified Copyrighted Educational Media. The methods employed in this Community Service are as follows: 1) Practical Training: Using a combination of lectures and hands-on practice to ensure students understand concepts and techniques, 2) Workshops: Interactive sessions aimed at building real-world projects and enhancing the learning experience, 3) Evaluation: Exams and project assessments to measure the skills acquired during the training
Science and Technology for the Community Training in Building Professional REST API Services using Laravel at SMKN 64 East Jakarta
The training programme titled "Building Professional REST API Services Using Laravel" at SMKN 64 East Jakarta is a collaboration between lecturers from Mohammad Husni Thamrin University, Jakarta, and the educational institution. The partner in this programme is SMKN 64 East Jakarta, which faces the challenge of enhancing students' competence in programming and web-based application development. The issues encountered by the partner include students' limited understanding of REST API technology and the Laravel framework, both of which are critical skills in the industrial sector. The proposed solution is to deliver an intensive training programme that combines theory with practical, hands-on experience, enabling students to master the concepts and techniques of REST API development using Laravel. The expected outcomes of this training are an improvement in students' abilities to design and implement REST API services, as well as the creation of a final project in the form of a publicly accessible application. The methods employed will include lectures, case studies, and hands-on training, all of which aim to provide participants with both a deep understanding and practical experience.Thus, this programme is expected not only to enhance students' skills but also to prepare them for the challenges of an increasingly competitive job market.
Strengthening Communication Strategy and Utilization of e-WOM to Increase Competitiveness of PT. Duta Mitra Tour
PT. Duta Mitra Lestari began its business as a provider of office supplies before eventually establishing PT. Duta Mitra Tour in 2022, specializing in travel services, Umrah, and Hajj. To expand its market reach and enhance its reputation, the company formed strategic partnerships, including one with Pondok Karya Pembangunan-Jakarta Islamic School (PKP-JIS). However, PT. Duta Mitra Tour faces challenges in optimizing its digital marketing strategy, particularly in leveraging Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to strengthen customer loyalty. To address these challenges, PKM Team from Universitas Muhammad Husni Thamrin conducted training for PT. Duta Mitra Tour employees. This training aimed to enhance communication skills and digital marketing strategies through case studies and interactive simulations. Regular evaluations were carried out to assess the effectiveness of the strategies implemented. It is expected that this training will help the company utilize customer reviews as an effective promotional tool and optimize CRM to build stronger relationships with customers. By improving its communication strategy, PT. Duta Mitra Tour has the potential to increase its competitiveness through continuous innovation, strategic collaboration, and human resource development
Earthquake Disaster Response Movement for Teenagers in Rw 08 Kampung Tengah, Kramatjati District
Indonesia is recognized as one of the countries with the highest vulnerability to natural disasters, particularly earthquakes. Accordingly, disaster preparedness plays a crucial role in determining the community’s ability to respond promptly and effectively, thereby minimizing casualties, physical damage, and socio-economic consequences. Disaster preparedness refers to the capacity to manage emergencies efficiently in order to reduce potential losses. Programs to strengthen disaster preparedness can be implemented both in schools and through community-based initiatives. Through such approaches, adolescents are provided with opportunities to learn experientially, collaborate in teams, and enhance their awareness of the importance of preparedness. This highlights that disaster readiness is not solely an individual responsibility, but also a collective obligation of the community. The present activity aimed to improve adolescents’ knowledge and skills in earthquake emergency response. The program was conducted in RW 08 Kampung Tengah, Kramat Jati District, at a community residence on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, involving approximately 30 participants. The evaluation results demonstrated a significant difference between pre- and post-education knowledge scores. The mean difference was -11.233, with a 95% confidence interval ranging from -13.499 to -8.968, and a significance value of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that disaster preparedness education is effective in enhancing adolescents’ knowledge, particularly in relation to earthquake emergency response
