The Influence of Compensation, Motivation and Workload on Employee Performance at the Research and Development Planning Agency of Berau Regency with Job Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable
This study aims to analyze the influence of compensation, work motivation, and workload on employee performance at the Badan Perencanaan Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Bapelitbang) Berau Regency, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. A quantitative approach with a causal design was employed, involving 56 employees selected through a census technique. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using path analysis and single factor analysis with AMOS software. The results indicate that compensation (estimate 0.347, p<0.001) and work motivation (estimate 0.367, p<0.001) positively and significantly affect job satisfaction, while workload (estimate -0.318, p=0.003) has a negative and significant effect. Compensation (estimate 0.245, p=0.007) and job satisfaction (estimate 0.489, p=0.002) positively and significantly influence employee performance, but work motivation (p=0.122) and workload (p=0.341) do not have a direct significant effect. Job satisfaction mediates the relationship between compensation, work motivation, and workload on employee performance, with R² values of 0.795 for job satisfaction and 0.883 for performance. The uneven distribution of compensation and workload, as evidenced by a satisfaction survey (44.64% dissatisfied) and the 2024 job analysis, significantly impacts satisfaction and performance. The study recommends designing fairer compensation policies based on workload and optimizing workload management to enhance job satisfaction and employee performance at Bapelitbang Berau Regency
The Effect of Changes in Long-Term Liabilities on the Stock Price of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk
This study aims to examine the effect of long-term liabilities on the stock price of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk over the 2017–2024 period using a simple linear regression approach. The independent variable, long-term liabilities, is analyzed to assess its contribution to stock price movements based on the company’s quarterly historical data. The regression results indicate a negative coefficient of –0.02396392, suggesting that an increase in long-term liabilities tends to be followed by a decline in stock price. Nevertheless, the p-value of 0.09257457 demonstrates that this relationship is not statistically significant at the 5 percent significance level. This finding is further reinforced by the ANOVA test, where the Significance F value of 0.09257457 indicates that the regression model as a whole is not statistically significant. The coefficient of determination (R Square = 0.0977) reveals that only approximately 9.77% of stock price variation can be explained by long-term liabilities, while the remaining portion is influenced by other factors such as macroeconomic conditions, market sentiment, and the firm’s operational performance. The negative regression coefficient is theoretically consistent with capital structure theory, financial risk perspectives, and Signaling Theory, which posit that higher long-term leverage may heighten perceived investor risk. However, its statistical insignificance suggests that long-term liabilities do not serve as the primary determinant of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk’s stock price during the observed period

The Effect of Using Poster Media on The Learning Outcomes of IPA Material About Human Digestive Organs in Class V at SD Plus Daarul Fudlola Cibinong Bogor
Based on the observations of researchers at SD Plus Daarul Fudlola Cibinong Bogor, researchers made observations of fifth grade students and found that some students were less interested in science subjects, especially in the material of recognizing human digestive organs because the learning media used by teachers were not suitable and only focused on using textbook media, so that students were unable to understand the material as a whole and quickly felt bored during the learning process. Overcoming these problems requires appropriate learning media, namely by using poster media. This study aims to obtain empirical data about the effect of using poster media on the learning outcomes of science material about human digestive organs in grade V students. This study used an experimental method, nonequivalent control group design pre-test and post-test, with 42 students as respondents. Based on the T-test calculation, comparison of pre-test and post- test scores obtained the results of the t value = 3.89 > t table = 1.72. The results of these calculations indicate that the proposed research hypothesis is accepted, and it can be said that the class using poster media has a higher average value than the class using textbook media. So it can be concluded that poster media has a significant and positive effect on science learning outcomes in fifth grade students at SD Plus Daarul Fudlola Cibinong Bogor
