    Get PDF
The present study has examined the use of an AI-based supply chain management system (AISCM) and its positive impact on international business performance (BP). Herein, a sequential mediation analysis has been performed using SmartPLS-SEM 4.0, with the constructs of Unique Competitive Advantage (UCA) and Supply Chain Performance serving as mediating variables in the study framework. The research has been conducted on a population sample of operations managers and supervisors working in international firms in Pakistan who oversee supply chain operations or strategic planning of international business. A non-probability, purposive sampling technique was employed to recruit study respondents, and a sample size of 205 was selected for statistical analysis using SmartPLS. The study's outcomes are significant for both theory and practice. The study has extended resource-based theory by employing AISCM in the study framework. Asia-based global firms can gain substantially from the findings of this study. For future research endeavors, it is recommended that moderating variables be identified among the relationships between study variables. The research framework may also be checked in GCC countries for a regional perspective and generalizability

The purpose of current research is to find the impact of perceived security and privacy risks on online shopping intentions of consumers in the education sector. The security and privacy risks being antecedents of online purchase intentions of customers examined with the help of quantitative research methodology. The quantitative research design followed survey method to collect data using convenience sampling. The questionnaires-based survey conducted to obtain responses and final analysis conducted on 350 duly filled questionnaires. Smart PLS 4.0 software utilized in which bootstrapping technique used for statistical estimations. The data found to be reliable using Cronbach’s alpha and composite reliability. All the items of variables found to be valid using cross loading and outer loading. The results indicate that perceived privacy risk negatively impacts online shopping intentions of consumers, while perceived security risk has no impact on online shopping intentions of consumers. Future research could explore the moderating effect of gender between relationships of perceived privacy risk, security risk and online purchase intentions of consumers. The study can utilize nonstudent samples in future for generalizability of research

A Systematic Review of Health Care Waste Management Practices and their Impact on Environmental Performance in Developing Countries

    Get PDF
Health-care waste poses a significant threat to environmental sustainability and public health, necessitating effective waste management strategies. This study investigates the influence of Health Care Waste Management (HCWM) on Environmental Performance in Pakistan, with a specific focus on the role of employee knowledge in improving waste management practices. A systematic literature review was conducted using the PRISMA methodology, leading to the selection of 10 relevant studies. Through narrative synthesis and thematic analysis, the findings revealed that poor HCWM—such as inadequate segregation, weak regulatory enforcement, and improper disposal-contributes to severe environmental and health risks. Moreover, a lack of environmental knowledge among healthcare personnel often results in ineffective waste management systems. The study confirms a significant relationship between HCWM and environmental performance, highlighting that better staff understanding of HCWM leads to improved outcomes. However, the study is limited by its reliance on secondary data, a narrow scope, and the absence of quantitative analysis. Future research should adopt a longitudinal design with broader scope and include quantitative methods for more robust insights

The present research investigated the psychological aspects that affect teachers and students in inclusive classrooms in public and private educational institutions in the Pakistani province of Punjab when artificial intelligence (AI) tools are implemented. Quantitative as a form of correlational research design, the additional data was collected according to the population of 250 people on the basis of whom standardized questionnaires were used to assess their perceptions in the rating scale of perceived usefulness, digital self-efficacy, technology anxiety, and the acceptance of AI tools. Data analysis was done using the methodology of the Pearson and simple linear regressions. These findings showed that the level of significant positive correlation between perceived usefulness and acceptance of AI tools is true and that perceived educational usefulness is considered to be a strong predict ant to the adoption of AI tools in an inclusive classroom. Digital self-efficacy has also been observed to be helpful in determining their readiness to acquire AI learning platforms owing to the high requirement of digital skills as an investment into matters of technology adoption. The negative correlation that turned out to be important is that between technology anxiety and AI tool acceptance where abnormal psychology towards technology prevents the use of technology in an inclusive learning environment. The same results confirm the application of available theories of technology adoption and also develop the frameworks that will be applied in culturally localized and all-inclusive classrooms in Pakistan.&nbsp

This study examines the impact of social media advertising on customer post-purchase behavior, highlighting both its blessings and impediments. Using a quantitative research approach, records turned into amassed from a pattern of a hundred respondents to investigate the relationship between social media marketing techniques and publish-buy delight, loyalty, and purchaser believe. The examine hired SmartPLS for records analysis, permitting a strong exam of structural relationships and latent variables. The findings display that whilst social media advertising and marketing extensively impacts purchaser engagement and logo perception, it also contributes to submit-buy dissonance whilst expectations aren't met. Excessive promotional content, influencer endorsements, and centred classified ads often result in impulsive buying behaviour, which may also later result in remorse and dissatisfaction. The current paper has examined the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the complex learning environment, considering how AI-based learning features (e.g., Intelligent Tutoring System, adaptive sequencing, automated feedback, and learning analytics) can be utilized to assist students in coping with the enormous learning demands. The research was conducted through quantitative research approach, where a sample of 280 undergraduate and graduate students doing different disciplines like engineering, statistics, computer science, and other sciences were utilized. Data collection was conducted with structured questionnaires and cognitive load scales and analyzed with SPSS 26 through the tools of statistical analysis such as the linear regression, correlation analysis and ANOVA. The demographic study revealed that gender, age groups, education levels, and fields of study were well represented so as to be generalized. Findings of the regression supported Hypothesis 1 indicating that there was a significant negative correlation between AI-based tool and cognitive overload; that is, greater AI support was associated with lower amount of overload. Hypothesis 2 was further supported by correlation analysis with the findings being that AI support and overload were strongly negatively correlated. Results of ANOVA Hypothesis 3 revealed that groups had significant differences, and the effects of AI tools were different among students based on their educational background. The findings are consistent with earlier researches and provide new data in contexts of complex learning. This paper explored that AI tools are effective in reducing cognitive load and enhancing learning, and has implications on curriculum design, equity, and the further adoption of technology
