Effect of Instrumental Music Therapy on Preoperative Anxiety Levels in Patients at Imanuel Hospital Bandar Lampung
Anxiety is an uncomfortable feeling of powerlessness caused by unpleasant new experiences, resulting in tension, agtation, and loss of control due to subjective judgment. Anxiety often occurs in patients undergoing surgical procedures. The prevalence of anxiety in Indonesia in preoperative patients ranges from 45% to 75%. This piroves that the majority of paitents undergoing surgery expierience anxiety. One way to alleviate anxiety is through relaxation distraction techniques, such as instrumental usic therapy. The effects of instrumental music therapy include reducing stress and anxiety, as well as improving concentration. The statistical test results obtained a significance value oif 0.00 < p 0.05, indicating a significiant difference in the level of preoperative patient anxiety before and after being given instrumental music therapy intervention. Thus, it can be concluded that instrumental music therapy affects the level of preoperative patient anxiety at Imanuel Hospital Bandar Lampung. Suggestions for Imanuel Hospital are to implement instrumental music therapy as one of the nursing interventions to reduce anxiety in preoperative patients. With the provision of instrumental music therapy, it is hoped that patients undergoing surgery will feel calmer, allowing the surgical procedure to proceed simoothly and effectively
Optimizing Culture and Tourism in Spurring Local Economic Growth in Bulukumba Regency
This study aims to analyze the relationship between cultural and tourism factors with local economic growth in Bulukumba Regency. In this study, a quantitative approach was used with data collection through a survey involving respondents from various sectors, including local communities, tourism actors, and local governments. The data were analyzed using statistical methods to identify the influence of culture and tourism on the local economy. The results of the study indicate that cultural activities such as traditional events and the development of tourism infrastructure have a significant contribution to local economic growth, especially in terms of increasing community income and creating jobs. However, the study also underlines the need for improved infrastructure, tourism diversification, and more active community participation to optimize the economic potential derived from the cultural and tourism sectors in Bulukumba Regency
Implementation of Zakat Accounting at the Al-Hikmah Mosque Zakat Management Agency in Soka Boyolali
This activity aims to raise awareness of the importance of zakat accounting and the ability to manage zakat systematically in accordance with Islamic law within the community. The activity is carried out through three stages: first, a lecture on the fundamentals of zakat accounting; second, training on zakat accounting in accordance with PSAK 109; and third, providing assistance in implementing zakat accounting during the collection and distribution of zakat. The Improvement of Health Service Effectiveness and Efficiency Through the Implementation of Information Technology at PKU Muhammadiyah Mayong Jepara Hospital
This study aims to analyze the impact of information technology implementation on the effectiveness and efficiency of services at PKU Muhammadiyah Mayong Jepara Hospital. The application of information technology is expected to improve service quality by facilitating quick, accurate, and easy access to medical information. In this study, a descriptive quantitative approach was used to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of hospital services, involving 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling method. Data was collected through observation and questionnaires, and analyzed using multiple linear regression method with the help of SPSS software version 25. The results showed that the application of information technology has a significant influence on the effectiveness and efficiency of hospital services. Effectiveness is measured based on patient satisfaction, appropriate clinical decision-making, and prevention of medical errors. While efficiency is measured through indicators of BOR (Bed Occupancy Rate), ALOS (Average Length of Stay), TOI (Turn Over Interval), and BTO (Bed Turn Over). The implementation of information systems is proven to be able to improve productivity, reliability, and speed of hospital services. This research provides a theoretical contribution in understanding the role of information technology in the health sector, as well as providing practical benefits for hospital management in improving service strategies that are more efficient and effective
Picture of Hand Washing Behavior with Soap (CTPS) of Students of SDN 029 Botto, Campalagian District
Washing hands with soap (CTPS) is one of the sanitation actions by cleaning hands and fingers using water and soap so that they are clean. Washing hands with soap is the process of mechanically removing dirt and dust from the skin of both hands using water and soap, washing hands with soap is a simple, easy, and useful way to prevent various diseases that cause death, which can be prevented by washing hands properly, such as diarrhea and ARI which are often the cause of death in children. Behavior is a biological manifestation of individuals in interactive activities with their environment, both in the form of visible and invisible behavior. can be felt to those that cannot be felt. The purpose of the study was to determine the description of hand washing behavior with soap (ctps) in students of SDN 029 Botto Village, Campalagian District. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method by interviewing informants to explore information, informants' attitudes in behaving hand washing with soap (CTPS) in students of SDN 029 Botto, Campalagian District, using 10 informants consisting of fifth and sixth grade students. The conclusion of this study is that students' behavior regarding washing hands with soap is good but not yet optimal and needs to be improved again to achieve a level of health. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the implementation of PHBS, especially washing hands with soap and the completeness of CTPS facilities at SDN 029 Botto school
Capital's Contribution in the Perspective of Bourdieu to Reduce Multidimensional Poverty to the Recipient of the Entrepreneurship Social Assistance
This research focuses on capital contributions in reducing multidimensional poverty to the recipients of entrepreneurial social assistance. This study uses a qualitative approach with the phenomenological method to explore the subjective experience of seven participants who recipient the Entrepreneurship Social Assistance Program carried out by the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs through the Galih Pakuan Bogor Center, in Bojonggede District, Bogor Regency. This study aims to analyze how the contribution of each converted capital form can reduce the dimensions of multidimensional poverty to recipients of social entrepreneurial assistance. The findings of this study indicate that capital transformation contributes to alleviating multidimensional poverty to recipients of entrepreneurial social assistance in the economic, health, education and living standards. Interaction of various forms of capital (economic, social, embodied, objectified, and digital) can optimize the management of entrepreneurial social assistance to increase business income and sustainability. Economic capital contributes to help the education costs of family members. Social capital strengthens networks to get access to health services, reach consumers and social support for meeting basic needs and decent residence assistance. Digital capital contributes to providing information, strengthening social capital and increasing knowledge. The implications of this finding indicate that programs and policies in tackling poverty requires the integrative development of various forms of capital in the recipient of social entrepreneurial assistance. This study provides a theoretical contribution by enriching literature related to the conversion of capital in the context of multidimensional poverty and offers practical insights for the development of programs and policies for more effective poverty alleviation
The Role of Social Media for the Elderly in Lembean Village, Kauditan District, North Minahasa Regency
This study aims to determine the role of social media for the elderly in Lembean Village, Kauditan District. Based on the definition of WHO (World Health Organization), the elderly are people who are in the age range of over 60 years. The use of social media can provide the elderly with social activities and communication to live a happy and joyful old age, the theory of social activity Successful aging depends on how an elderly person feels satisfaction in doing activities and maintaining those activities. Spradley's qualitative research method; study of individuals/groups with the aim of describing cultural characteristics more deeply systematically in their own space and time. the number of informants is 4 people, namely 2 elderly women and 2 elderly men using purposive sampling techniques, in-depth interview data collection techniques, analyzed and described. The results of the study obtained the role of social media for the elderly in Lembean Village, namely; a means of social activity through whats app groups with family, elderly community groups, religious groups; a means of entertainment activities by exposing daily activities both at home and outside the home; a means of information sources of joy or sorrow and events in the outside world through Facebook, a means of economic activity exposing sales for elderly people who are still productive. Social media becomes a means of digital activity for the elderly to fill their time at home, a source of information and a means of immortalizing activities with photos
Analysis of Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Treath (SWOT) of Gold Savings Products on Customer Satisfaction of PT Pegadaian (Makassar 1 Area)
This research was conducted with the aim to: (1) analyze the Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Treatment (SWOT) of the Gold Savings Product at PT. Pegadaian Makassar Area 1; (2) examine the effect of Strength Analysis on customer satisfaction; (3) assess the effect of Weakness Analysis on customer satisfaction; (4) evaluate the effect of Opportunity Analysis on customer satisfaction; and (5) investigate the effect of Treath Analysis on customer satisfaction.
For this study, 115 individuals from the entire population were given questionnaires to collect primary data using a quantitative technique. The study was carried out at PT. Pegadaian Makassar Area 1, which is located on Jalan Sulawesi No. 285 Butung, Wajo District, Makassar City, South Sulawesi for three months, from October to December of 2023. Multiple linear regression was used in the analytical approach together with the simple random sampling method. The results of this research reported that: (1) The position of Gold Savings products of PT. Pegadaian Makassar Area 1 was in quadrant 1, namely OS (Opportunity, Strength); (2) Analysis of the strength and advantages of gold savings demonstrated a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction; (3) Weakness analysis/lack of gold savings illustrated a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction; (4) Opportunity analysis/gold savings opportunities revealed a positive and insignificant effect on customer satisfaction; and (5) Analysis of the threat/threat of gold savings denoted a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction
Analysis of the Role of Advocates in Industrial Relations Dispute Resolution: The Case of the Medan Manpower Office
Industrial relations dispute resolution is an important issue in the world of labor that requires the right legal approach. This study aims to analyze the role of advocates in resolving industrial relations disputes at the Medan City Manpower Office, especially in the mediation and litigation stages. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies. The data were analyzed descriptively by relating them to relevant theories and legal frameworks. The results of the study show that advocates have a strategic role in helping the parties to the dispute understand their rights and obligations, both through legal consultation, assistance in mediation, and legal representation in the litigation process at the Industrial Relations Court. In addition, advocates also contribute to the preparation of legal documents that support client claims. However, there are a number of obstacles faced by advocates, such as low legal understanding from the parties to the dispute, limited competence of mediators, and lack of supporting evidence. This obstacle often prolongs the duration of dispute resolution and reduces the effectiveness of mediation. This study concludes that the role of advocates is very important in creating a fair and efficient dispute resolution process. However, improvements are needed in the dispute resolution system, such as increasing legal literacy, training mediators, and optimizing mediation procedures. This finding is expected to contribute to the development of better industrial relations settlement practices, especially in the city of Medan
