During the COVID-19, schools were faced with changes in organizational culture under the digital education model. It is a new challenge facing higher education universities to promote cultural competitiveness, enhancing the confidence of educators in organizational culture, and communicating the cultural atmosphere to educators through digital technology. This concept paper mainly emphasizes the introduction of Digital Arts experience into organizational culture, thereby enhancing the appeal of the university organizational culture. This requires the university to combine both ideology and technology, highly advocating the organization's core concept through the global digital trend during the pandemic. This concept paper provides a new perspective of change for constructing organizational culture in universities facing education and digital challenges during the pandemic. The Digital Arts experience will be an essential part of the global university organization culture after COVID-19
Multiple Languages and the process of the Teacher Formation in Early Childhood Education
The formation of the Early Childhood Education teacher is a recurring theme in many studies, showing the concern for the quality of the activities carried out with early childhood children. In pedagogy courses, in which future teachers are qualified, there is a concern with training strategies for the appropriation of multiple languages, a theme also studied due to proposals related to Childhood Pedagogy. This research aims to investigate and analyze how teachers of the pedagogy course of a private university in the city of São Paulo, in their educational practices, consider the multiple languages in the formation of teachers of early childhood education. A qualitative approach was chosen. to carry out the research, and as a methodological procedure, we have interviewed ten teachers from the pedagogy course and thirteen students from the sixth semester. The theoretical background adopted is based on the conceptions of children and early childhood education from the perspective of multiple languages. The results showed that teachers use different strategies when working with multiple languages in their disciplines. Nevertheless, such practices or strategies are aimed much more at preschool children than at daycare children
Compliance application process as a strategic tool in the management of a third sector organization
Adapting to integrity models that respect the current legislation has become fundamental in the management of organizations as a strategic form, mainly in entities with public and non-profit purposes, in a non-governmental scope. Therefore, the objective is to implement a model for the application of the compliance program in a Third Sector institution. In this way, the present article can be considered in an exploratory, applied and qualitative way, in two aspects, bibliographic research and case study, the data collection was through a meeting and interview with the company's professionals, reporting the importance of the theme. The results showed the main tools and compliance mechanism, proposing actions that can be used in practice with the purpose of providing a broad view of the functioning of the proposed model, with transparency and ethics, thus increasing the competitiveness of the business
An Exploration of The Role Played by Men During Pregnancy and Childbirth in Kenya: A Case of Kitui West Sub County
According to gender mainstreaming principles, male involvement during pregnancy and childbirth is a pivotal strategy for improving birth outcomes. The objective of this study was to gain a deeper understanding of the role played by husbands and fiancées during pregnancy and childbirth. To gather data, 135 Antenatal care (ANC) attendees, 30 non-ANC-attendees, 5 nurses and 8 TBAs were interviewed from 10 randomly selected health facilities from 18 health facilities that offer comprehensive health care. This information was collected between 2017 and 2018 in Kitui West- Sub-County, Kenya and was collected through asking two pertinent questions; a) Whether expectant women sought permission before choosing place of delivery, b) Who determined final place of delivery. The study utilized quantitative and qualitative methods of study. Analysis of the study was done by content. From the results; 50 percent of Final place of delivery indicated that; 64 percent out of 135 ANC-attendees delivered in a health facility, 34 percent out of this number were encouraged by significant others. Fifty six percent out of the significant ones were husbands who directed their wives to deliver in a health facility. Out of 49 ANC-attendees who delivered at home, 36.7 percent were influenced by significant others. Out of these significant others, 27 percent were husbands. On the other hand, 6 respondents out of 30 non- ANC-attendees, delivered at home having been instructed by their husbands
PHYSIOLOGY AND MORPHOLOGY OF RICE PLANTS WITH SILICON SUPPLEMENTATION AND DIETHOLATE SEED TREATMENT UNDER WATER DEFICIT
Silicon is an enzyme stimulator that promotes signaling for the production of antioxidant, osmoprotective compounds and attenuates interference in photosynthesis in rice plants subjected to water deficit. The aim of this study was to evaluate the possible effects of silicon as a stress reliever in rice plants grown from seeds treated with dietholate under of water deficit conditions. The experimental design was fully randomized with three replicates, 144 experimental units consisting of pots containing 4.4 pounds soil, and a 3x2x2x4 factorial arrangement: three soil water conditions (50% and 100% of soil water retention capacity and water blade of 5.0 cm); two cultivars (IRGA 424 RI and Guri INTA CL); two sources of Si (sodium and potassium metasilicate); and four Si rates (0; 4.0; 8.0 and 16 g L-1). Silicon boosted stomatal density; induced an increase in the maximum photochemical efficiency of photosystem II (PSII) under both water deficit and optimal conditions, boosting photosynthesis; and increased effective quantum yield of PSII and levels of total dry mass. Thus, silicon attenuated the effects of water deficit in plants grown from seeds treated with dietholate
The Evaluation of Twisted Pair Cable Performance in Circuits with DS18B20 Temperature Sensors
The transmission of data and energy has been widely used over the past few centuries, but in a complex manner and at high cost. Gradually in order to simplify this process and reduce costs, important network cables have appeared, namely: twisted pair cables, coaxial cables, and fiberoptic cables. Thus, instead of various wires, a single cable has become necessary. Within this context, this study seeks to evaluate data transmission performance using two types of Ethernet cables, CAT E5 and CAT E6, in circuits with DS18B20 temperature sensors. The evaluation of the two cables was made by reducing their lengths by 10 meters every two weeks to find the length of cable which would ensure a reliable reading of the sensors for use in the research project entitled “The Evaluation of the Potential Use of Surface Geothermal Energy in the City of Dourados, MS”. The obtained data indicates that CAT E5 cables with lengths less than 70 meters ensure reliable readings close to the real value, while for CAT E6 Ethernet cables this takes place at lengths of less than 80 meters
Epidermodysplasia Verruciformis acquired in an HIV-positive patient
The disease epidermodysplasia verruciformis is a rare genodermatosis, autosomal recessive in most cases, characterized by susceptibility to infection by types of HPV of the genus β (EV-HPV) that do not occur in immunocompetent clinics. With the increased survival of immunosuppressed patients, especially with AIDS, a form of the disease called epidermodysplasia verruciformis acquired from a clinician similar to the genetic disease has been reduced, but challenging to manage, since an antiretroviral therapy leads to a cutaneous one, making patients more resistant to any treatment modality
PERCEPTION OF THE PERSON WHO LIVES WITH HIV / AIDS AND THEIR FAMILIES IN RELATION TO THE CARE IN THE HOSPITALIZATION: CONSIDERING THE INDEX OF ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION
The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) was discovered in the 1980s, it affects the immune system and when not treated with appropriate medications it can lead the person to develop acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). The antiretroviral therapy (ART) that makes HIV undetectable was discovered in 1990. However, despite the free ART in Brazil, there is still a challenge regarding the adherence of people (100%) living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA), because the abandonment of the medication or the non-regular use reduces future treatment options which cause illness and death. The objective of this research was to understand the perception of the person living with HIV/AIDS and their family members, regarding the care offered in the infectious and parasitic diseases unit. In addition, the anxiety and depression rate that affects them during the hospitalization period will be considered. This study was carried out in the Infectious and Parasitic Inpatient Sector DIP Infirmary (Enf/DIP), which is part of the Infectious and Parasitic Diseases Unit (UNIDIP) of the Hospital Maria Aparecida Pedrossiam (HUMAP), in the municipality of Campo Grande - MS. The prospective collection of primary data was obtained through questionnaires that were replaced by words and expressions in the title and in the content. Changes were made and elaborated with the objective of improving the understanding of the sentences, which became a semantic evaluation of content by a committee of evaluators. Thus, before the final application of the questionnaire to the participants, all the steps cited constituted the methodological strategies for capturing data
MASP Methodology as an effective tool for improving organizational processes
The objective of this work is to demonstrate the methodology and analysis of problem solving and its effectiveness for the improvement of the organizational processes proposing that the method can be applied in any sector of the market and not exclusively in the industries. This will be done through the use of search for articles related to the topic addressed in different sectors of the market and a comparative table showing the results after the implementation of the method. The Masp steps will consist of 8 phases that are related to the 4 steps of the PDCA cycle, which are: problem identification, observation, analysis, action plan, action, verification, standardization and conclusion. For the development of the research, the bibliographic source was used with the use of articles and books to understand the topic applied in general and specifically based on recent case study articles to evaluate its effectiveness and flexibility
Optimization of filament antennas using the Gauss-Newton method
The project of the Yagi-Uda antenna was optimized using the Gauss-Newton method. The optimization consisted of specifying value interval for directivity, front-to-back ratio and beamwidth and, starting from a pre-defined initial model, the best values for the length and spacing of the elements were determined. For the direct modeling, the method of moments on the integral Pocklington equation was used, which consisted of obtaining the values of directivity, front-to-back ratio and beamwidth from the length and spacing between known elements. The procedure was applied to the synthesis of Yagi-Uda antennas with five and six elements and the results were found to be as good as those obtained in the literature using other optimization methods
