Promethee Algorithm in Assessing Lecturer Performance
Higher Education is an educational institution that plays a role in producing quality human resources. The roles, duties and responsibilities of lecturers are very important in educating the nation's life and national goals. There are many problems that cause the performance of lecturers at universities in Indonesia. Meanwhile, lecturers are required to give good performance. In this case, the researcher is interested in evaluating the performance of lecturers using the promethee method. The promethee method is able to produce decisions based on comparisons between alternatives according to the preference function and the different weights of each criterion. The criteria used in the assessment of lecturer performance are 10 criteria with 7 alternative lecturers. The Promethee method produces recommendations for lecturers with the best performance, namely Lecturer E who has a net flow value of 0.12153. While the lecturer with the lowest performance assessment is Lecturer B with a net flow value of -0.19167. The results of the decisions given by the promethee method can help provide an assessment of the lecturer's performance from the several alternatives given. Selection Index (PSI) Method in Developing a Student Scholarship Decision Support System
Scholarships are the provision of financial assistance for students or students with the aim that these students can continue their education that is being achieved. Decision Support System (DSS) is a system that can provide a problem or a communication capability for problems in unstructured and semi-structured conditions. The Preference Selection Index (PSI) method was developed by Maniya Bhatt (2010) to solve multiple decision criteria (MCDM). In the proposed method of weighting it is not necessary to assign relative importance between attributes, in fact, there is no need for attributes involved in decision making in this method. Compared to other MCDM methods, the PSI method is easier to reach because it involves fewer numerical calculations.
Design Of Sales Information System In Website-Based Isaylees Sport Store
Abstract— This study aims to create a website-based sales information system at the Isaylees Sport store. The design and manufacture of a sales information system at the Isaylees Sport store is carried out to make it easier for sellers to manage sales and purchase data. In this system, sellers are expected to be able to market products with a wider range and sell products effectively and efficiently. In addition to providing convenience for sellers, this system also makes it easy for customers to make buying and selling transactions at the Isaylees Sport store. The method used in system design is through the stages of making DFD and ERD diagrams. Results from this research, namely the sales information system at the website-based isaylees Sport store that has been designed to have automatic payment features using a payment gateway, automatic postage checks and order tracking. The system that has been designed also provides convenience for sellers and buyers. The result of this research is an e-commers application that is used in sales transactions.
A Mini Review of Lifi Technology : Security Issue
Visible Light Communication (VLC) is an extension of Light Fidelity (LiFi) that uses full duplex communication or fully networked wireless communication. LiFi is one of the top technologies for solving wireless fidelity (WiFi) issues. Communication over LiFi is one of its major advantages. However, no security system is infallible. The purpose of this paper is to conduct a mini review of LIFI technology in terms of security issues. As a new technology, Lifi is still not widely known for its security issues. Literature reviews are a necessary step to determining the issues related to Lifi technology. A descriptive qualitative approach is used in this paper to describe the data. Expert System for Early Diagnosis of Tropical Malaria and Tertiana Malaria using Certainty Factor
Twano Health Center is one of the technical implementing units of the Jayapura City Health Office which organizes Health Efforts, but the constraints regarding the facilities and infrastructure of the Puskesmas are not yet adequate in supporting health services. Based on observations, the increase in the level of malaria sufferers in the Jayapura area is caused by parasites (protozoa) of the genus Plasmodium and the mode of transmission is through the bite of a female Anopheles mosquito. There are two types of malaria that are often experienced by Jayapura residents, namely Tropical Malaria (Plasmodium falciparum) and Tertiana (Plasmodium vivax). The purpose of this study is to create an expert system that can diagnose early diseases such as an expert or doctor using the Certainty Factor method which expresses belief in an event (fact or hypothesis) based on evidence or expert judgment in early diagnosis of Tropical Malaria and Tertiana. The research subjects taken were 5 patients who had symptoms of Malaria and 1 doctor to determine the symptoms of the disease) The expert system using the Certainty Factor method was used because this method was suitable in determining the disease, and the result was a percentage which was the level of accuracy in determining the patient's disease. Determination of the percentage is influenced by the MB value (a measure of the increase in confidence) and the MD value (a measure of the increase in distrust) obtained from the assessment of an expert. The research method that the authors do consists of data collection methods and systems development methods . Analysis of Production Quality Control in Minimizing Product Defects with the Six Sigma Method (Case Study at PT. Jaykay Files Indonesia)
PT. JayKay Files Indonesia is a company engaged in the industry that produces files and drills. Where the products have been exported to various countries and the quality is well received by various overseas customers. PT. JayKay Files Indonesia is certified with ISO 9001:2008, OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001-2004 environmental management system. However, to maintain this quality, the company must control the existing defective products. Then the research was carried out using the Six Sigma DMAIC (Define Measure Analyze Improv Control) stage. And produced 4 (four) types of defects in the Define stage, with the calculation of the sigma value of 3.8 with 3.8% damage at the measure stage, then Analyze which occurs because there are several causes using a fishbone diagram, namely machine, human, method and environmental factors. Product Quality Control Analysis with Statistical Process Control (SPC) Method in Weaving Section (Case Study PT.I)
Abstract - PT.I is a company that produces synthetic rattan furniture on an export scale. The various products at PT.I are an attraction for consumers, such as classic and modern weaving models. However, the number of defects produced is higher than the tolerance limit company. Based on data from the weaving section, it shows that there are 5 types of defects that are not in accordance with the standards and quality that have been determined by the company. The purpose of this study is to identify the types of defects that often occur in PT. I and identify the main factors causing product defects using the SPC method. The seven tools consist of a check sheet, histogram, stratification, scatter diagram, p control chart, Pareto diagram, and fishbone diagram. The results showed that the number of defects in October and November exceeded the limit set by the company. The highest level of disability occurred in October. The higher the number of production, the higher the number of product defects. Based on the results of the p control chart, it can be seen that the product is outside the control limits that it should have. The process is in a state of uncontrollability or is still experiencing deviations. To suppress or reduce the number of product defects that occur in production, 3 types of dominant defects can be applied, namely the woven model (254 units), loose woven (122 units), and nail-looking woven (119 units). Cloud-computing based data integration for non-profit organization: web design and implementation
Data is a very important part of our lives nowadays, but it requires a neat and systematic acquisition. This good and systematics data acquisition also required by non-profit institutions. Non-profit institutions in Indonesia are found within various fields, including health, arts, natural environment, agriculture, etc. One of the most needed data recording is the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI). PMI is engaged in the humanitarian field and has branches throughout Indonesia, including the districts. Donor data logging is one of the problems faced by PMI. Each time a donor does a blood donation, they need to rewrite their personal data on a piece of paper. This data will then be recapitulated into a computer which sometimes takes time and is not being inputted in real time. This system requires a change that makes data able to be inputted in real time and be stored properly and neatly. The data can then be stored in the cloud as well and be accessed in real time. For non-profit organizations such as PMI, this allows inputting and data processing to become more efficient and flexible. In this study, the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method was used, while the website uses the CodeIgniter (CI) framework.
