Strategic Intelligence Foresight on Ransomware Threats in Indonesian State-Owned Banks

The advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in recent years has been aggressively exploited in cyberattacks, particularly through increasingly sophisticated and massive ransomware deployments. Globally, ransomware incidents have risen by 68% over the past two years (Suvorova, 2023), while Indonesia recorded over one million ransomware activities in 2023 alone, with the financial sector being one of the primary targets (BSSN, 2023). State-owned banks (Bank BUMN) are particularly vulnerable due to their classification as critical information infrastructure and their role in managing the nation's strategic financial assets (Crisanto, Prenio, & Restoy, 2023). This study aims to identify the escalation patterns of AI-powered ransomware attacks against state-owned banks in Indonesia, analyze their vulnerability profiles, and formulate early prevention strategies using a strategic intelligence foresight approach for the period 2025–2029. A qualitative method is applied using the scientific inquiry for intelligence analysis framework (Prunckun, 2010) and a five-phase foresight methodology: event identification, trend analysis, driver mapping, scenario development, and policy roadmap formulation (Saritas, 2016). The 2023 LockBit 3.0 ransomware attack on Bank Syariah Indonesia (Chakravarti, 2023) underscores the urgency of integrating foresight into national banking cybersecurity policy formulation

Fostering Environmental Culture Through Transformational Leadership and Teachers’ OCB

Environmental issues have become a critical agenda within the global education system, including in Indonesia, which has adopted environmental education through the Adiwiyata Program. However, fostering an environmentally conscious school culture cannot rely solely on programmatic initiatives; it requires visionary and participatory leadership. This research aims to examine how principals' transformational leadership can promote teachers’ Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) as a catalyst for building a sustainable school culture. A descriptive qualitative method with a single case study design was employed, focusing on an elementary school located in the suburban area of Bogor Regency. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, documentation, and supplemented by closed-ended questionnaires. The findings reveal that the principal demonstrated key elements of transformational leadership—particularly idealized influence and intellectual stimulation—which significantly encouraged OCB among teachers, including proactive engagement in environmental initiatives and contributions to character development in students (e.g., care, discipline, and responsibility). These results align with existing literature, underscoring the interplay between transformational leadership, OCB, and the development of organizational culture. This research highlights the importance of integrating character-building into environmental education, enhancing ecologically oriented leadership development, promoting synergy between leadership and OCB, and reinforcing institutional policies that support sustainable environmental practices in schools

The Urgency of Strengthening Business License Revocation as an Administrative Sanction to Act against Violations of Workers' Normative Rights in Indonesia

Labor law enforcement in Indonesia still faces various challenges, one of which is related to the application of administrative sanctions, especially the cancellation of business permits. Law Number 6 of 2023 for Job Creation and Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower both declare that the termination of business licenses has a clear legal basis, its implementation has not been optimal. This is due to various legal, technical, and political obstacles. Therefore, this study aims to identify the urgency of strengthening the mechanism for revoking business licenses as administrative sanctions, as well as proposing strengthening strategies that include improving regulations, increasing the capacity of supervisors, optimizing the OSS system, and strengthening coordination between agencies. Strengthening this mechanism is expected to increase the effectiveness of labor law enforcement, protect workers' normative rights, create fairer and more harmonious industrial relations, and a better-quality investment climate

Organizational Culture in Waste Collection Fleet Management: Implications for Operational Efficiency and Urban Environmental Impact

Waste collection fleets play a vital role in municipal solid waste management and urban environmental quality. Nevertheless, operational inefficiencies, such as vehicle overloading, suboptimal route planning, and inadequate maintenance, have contributed to significant environmental and infrastructural impacts, including road degradation and diminished urban hygiene. This research adopts a qualitative approach grounded in a comprehensive review of relevant literature to examine how organizational culture affects the performance of waste collection fleets and their broader urban impact. The findings suggest that weak institutional culture, fragmented coordination among agencies, and inconsistent adherence to operational standards are critical drivers of inefficiency. Moreover, limited inter-agency integration, the absence of effective oversight mechanisms, as well as limited technological innovation further compound these challenges. Addressing these systemic issues requires targeted cultural and governance reforms. Key recommendations include strengthening human resource capacity, integrating environmentally sound technologies, and fostering institutional accountability and environmental responsibility. These interventions are essential to enhance operational efficiency. They also play a key role in reducing the ecological footprint of urban waste transportation systems

The low level of respect among students towards teachers, peers, and the school environment is a challenge in character building in the digital era. This study aims to analyze the Implementation of Character Building in Cultivating Student Respect through Classical Guidance Services at SMPIT Ibnu Khaldun. The study used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews with guidance counselors, principals, and students, as well as documentation. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the implementation of respect character building was carried out through three stages: (1) planning by integrating Islamic values and respectful character in the RPL of classical guidance; (2) implementation using interactive group discussions, role-playing, and storytelling methods; (3) evaluation through behavioral observation and student self-assessment. Supporting factors included the commitment of guidance counselors, support from school management, and Islamic culture. Obstacles in the form of heterogeneity of student character and limited time were overcome through collaboration with homeroom teachers. The implications of this study provide a practical model for Islamic schools in optimizing classical guidance services for the formation of respectful character in students
