PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN DASAR BAHASA INGGRIS ANAK MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF BERBASIS GAME, GERAK, DAN GAMBAR DI DESA DONGKO
This community service activity aims to improve the basic English skills of children in Dongko Village through an interactive learning method that combines elements of educational games, physical activity (movement), and image visualization. The identified problem was the children\u27s low interest and understanding of English, which has been taught conventionally and less enjoyable. The implementation method was a participatory approach based on direct practice in study groups. The activity was carried out for three weeks with a series of programs ranging from introducing basic vocabulary (colors, animals, numbers), pronunciation practice, to reinforcement activities through educational games and song movements. The results of the community service showed a significant increase in vocabulary understanding, pronunciation, and active participation of children during the learning process. Children became more enthusiastic, confident, and able to apply vocabulary in simple contexts. Furthermore, the interactive approach encouraged the creation of a fun and inclusive learning atmosphere, thereby minimizing boredom and increasing learning effectiveness. Overall, this activity contributed to strengthening language literacy at the elementary level and was in line with the Freedom to Learn policy and Presidential Regulation Number 87 of 2017 concerning Strengthening Character Education. It is hoped that this learning model can be adopted by schools or other learning communities as an alternative strategy to improve the basic English skills of children in rural areas.Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dasar Bahasa Inggris anak-anak di Desa Dongko melalui metode pembelajaran interaktif yang menggabungkan unsur game edukatif, aktivitas fisik (gerak), dan visualisasi gambar. Permasalahan yang diidentifikasi adalah rendahnya minat dan pemahaman anak terhadap Bahasa Inggris yang selama ini diajarkan secara konvensional dan kurang menyenangkan. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan pendekatan partisipatif berbasis praktik langsung dalam kelompok belajar. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama tiga minggu dengan rangkaian program mulai dari pengenalan kosakata dasar (colors, animals, numbers), latihan pelafalan, hingga aktivitas penguatan melalui permainan edukatif dan gerak lagu. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman kosakata, pelafalan, serta partisipasi aktif anak selama proses pembelajaran. Anak-anak menjadi lebih antusias, percaya diri, dan mampu mengaplikasikan kosakata dalam konteks sederhana. Selain itu, pendekatan interaktif mendorong terciptanya suasana belajar yang menyenangkan dan inklusif, sehingga meminimalkan kejenuhan dan meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berkontribusi pada penguatan literasi bahasa di tingkat dasar dan sejalan dengan kebijakan Merdeka Belajar serta Peraturan Presiden Nomor 87 Tahun 2017 tentang Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter. Model pembelajaran ini diharapkan dapat diadopsi oleh sekolah atau komunitas belajar lain sebagai strategi alternatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dasar Bahasa Inggris anak-anak di wilayah pedesaan
PENCEGAHAN TIGA DOSA BESAR DAN STRATEGI PEMBINAAN SISWA KESULITAN BELAJAR DI SDN 1 TOMPOH KABUPATEN TOLITOLI
This community service program aims to implement the prevention of the three major sins (intolerance, sexual violence, and bullying) and a strategy for mentoring students with learning difficulties at SDN 1 Tompoh. The program was implemented through three main stages: socialization of the prevention of the three major sins to teachers, students, and parents; intensive guidance for students experiencing reading difficulties; and observation and evaluation of program implementation. The program results showed that the socialization raised awareness throughout the school community about the importance of preventing the three major sins in the educational environment. The reading guidance program positively impacted improving student literacy skills, while observations identified positive behavioral changes in both students and support from teachers and parents. In conclusion, implementing the prevention of the three major sins and a strategy for mentoring students with learning difficulties at SDN 1 Tompoh has proven effective in creating a safe, inclusive school environment and supporting students\u27 academic development. This program is expected to be implemented sustainably with collaborative support from all relevant parties.Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan pencegahan tiga dosa besar (intoleransi, kekerasan seksual, dan perundungan) serta strategi pembinaan siswa kesulitan belajar di SDN 1 Tompoh. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan utama, yaitu sosialisasi pencegahan tiga dosa besar kepada guru, siswa, dan orang tua; pembimbingan intensif kepada siswa yang mengalami kesulitan membaca; serta observasi dan evaluasi terhadap pelaksanaan program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi mampu meningkatkan kesadaran seluruh warga sekolah tentang pentingnya pencegahan tiga dosa besar di lingkungan pendidikan. Program bimbingan membaca memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan literasi siswa, sementara observasi mengidentifikasi adanya perubahan perilaku positif baik pada siswa maupun dukungan guru serta orang tua. Kesimpulannya, implementasi pencegahan tiga dosa besar dan strategi pembinaan siswa kesulitan belajar di SDN 1 Tompoh terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman, inklusif, serta mendukung perkembangan akademik siswa. PENYULUHAN PEMANFAATAN LAHAN KOSONG SEBAGAI UPAYA PENINGKATAN KETAHANAN PANGAN MASYARAKAT DESA KABINUANG KECAMATAN DAMPAL UTARA
Food security is crucial in improving community welfare, particularly in rural areas dependent on the agricultural sector. However, much vacant land remains underutilised, potentially leaving it unused and reducing local food availability. To address this challenge, a community service program, including outreach and mentoring on vacant land utilisation, was implemented in Kabinuang Village, North Dampal District, from July to August 2025. The objective of this program was to provide education, training, and mentoring to the community in managing vacant land into productive land through the cultivation of horticultural crops. The methods used included land observation, cultivation technique training, monitoring activity results, and a descriptive approach. The activity results showed an increase in community knowledge and skills in managing vacant land and establishing several productive gardens as pilot projects in the village. This program had a positive impact on meeting household food needs and increasing income, strengthening the value of mutual cooperation, and creating a more sustainable environment. Therefore, this activity is expected to be the first step in the sustainable use of vacant land to support local food security and the welfare of the Kabinuang Village community.Ketahanan pangan merupakan salah satu pilar penting dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, khususnya di wilayah pedesaan yang bergantung pada sektor pertanian. Namun, masih banyak lahan kosong yang belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal sehingga berpotensi menjadi lahan tidur dan mengurangi ketersediaan pangan lokal. Menjawab tantangan tersebut, dilaksanakan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa penyuluhan dan pendampingan pemanfaatan lahan kosong di Desa Kabinuang, Kecamatan Dampal Utara, pada Juli–Agustus 2025. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan edukasi, pelatihan, serta pendampingan kepada masyarakat dalam mengelola lahan kosong menjadi lahan produktif melalui penanaman tanaman hortikultura. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi lahan, pelatihan teknik budidaya, pemantauan hasil kegiatan, serta pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengelola lahan kosong, serta terbentuknya beberapa kebun produktif sebagai percontohan di desa. Program ini berdampak positif tidak hanya terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan pangan rumah tangga, tetapi juga pada peningkatan pendapatan, penguatan nilai gotong royong, serta terciptanya lingkungan yang lebih lestari. PENGEMBANGAN PRODUK GULA AREN CAIR HIGIENIS DAN INOVATIF DI DESA BANGKIR, KECAMATAN DAMPAL SELATAN
Liquid palm sugar is a traditional product with high economic value that has the potential to be developed as a superior regional commodity. However, the main challenges faced are the still simple processing process and inadequate packaging, which impact the product\u27s quality and shelf life. This research aims to develop liquid palm sugar with a hygienic processing process and innovative, more efficient, and environmentally friendly packaging. The methods used include filtration and pasteurization to maintain product quality, safety, and stability, and the use of environmentally friendly, airtight packaging to extend shelf life. The results show that the pasteurization process can reduce the number of contaminating microbes, thus extending the product\u27s shelf life. The innovative packaging can maintain the flavor and physical quality of liquid palm sugar for several weeks longer than traditional packaging. Thus, the development of hygienic processing methods and innovative packaging not only improves the quality and shelf life of liquid palm sugar but also provides opportunities to increase product competitiveness in local and national markets.Gula aren cair merupakan produk tradisional dengan nilai ekonomi tinggi yang berpotensi dikembangkan sebagai komoditas unggulan daerah. Namun, tantangan utama yang dihadapi adalah proses pengolahan yang masih sederhana dan kemasan yang kurang memadai, sehingga berpengaruh pada kualitas serta masa simpan produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan gula aren cair dengan proses pengolahan higienis serta inovasi kemasan yang lebih efisien dan ramah lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyaringan dan pasteurisasi untuk menjaga kualitas, keamanan, dan kestabilan produk, serta penggunaan kemasan kedap udara berbahan ramah lingkungan guna memperpanjang umur simpan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pasteurisasi mampu menurunkan jumlah mikroba kontaminan sehingga produk lebih tahan lama, sementara inovasi kemasan mampu menjaga cita rasa dan kualitas fisik gula aren cair hingga beberapa minggu lebih lama dibanding kemasan tradisional. Dengan demikian, pengembangan metode pengolahan higienis dan kemasan inovatif ini tidak hanya meningkatkan mutu dan daya simpan gula aren cair, tetapi juga memberikan peluang peningkatan daya saing produk di pasar lokal maupun nasional
EDUKASI PENDAMPINGAN BELAJAR SD, PENYULUHAN STUNTING, MEDIA INTERAKTIF DAN PELATIHAN MICROSOFT OFFICE
This community service activity was carried out with the aim of improving the quality of basic education, increasing awareness of the importance of health, and developing technological skills in the school and community environment. The program consists of four main activities, namely: (1) learning assistance for elementary school students, (2) counseling on stunting for parents and local residents, (3) application of interactive media in the learning process, and (4) basic training in the use of Microsoft Office applications. The methods used include delivering material through lectures, discussions, demonstrations, direct practice, and ongoing assistance. The results of the implementation show an increase in student motivation and learning outcomes, an increase in community understanding of stunting prevention, an increase in active student involvement in interactive media-based learning, and the development of basic skills of the community and teachers in operating Microsoft Office. Thus, this program makes a real contribution to improving the quality of education, health, and teachers\u27 digital capabilities.Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dasar, memperluas kesadaran akan pentingnya kesehatan, serta mengembangkan keterampilan teknologi di lingkungan sekolah maupun masyarakat. PEMBUATAN SPANDUK INFOGRAFIS GUNA MENINGKATKAN TRANSPARANSI DAN EFEKTIVITAS PELAYANAN PENERBITAN SKTM DI KANTOR DESA OGOTUA KABUPATEN TOLITOLI
This community service activity aims to improve the transparency and effectiveness of issuing the Certificate of Indigency (SKTM) in Ogotua Village through the provision of service flow infographics. The background of this activity lies in the limited public understanding of administrative procedures, which often leads to mistakes in submitting documents. The method consisted of planning, observation, infographic design using Canva, printing, frame construction, and the official handover to village officials. The results show that the infographic displayed in the village office successfully provided clear and accessible information for the community, while also demonstrating the local government\u27s commitment to transparent public services. Through this visual medium, residents can more easily follow the SKTM issuance procedure in an orderly and compliant mannerKegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan transparansi dan efektivitas pelayanan pembuatan Surat Keterangan Tidak Mampu (SKTM) di Desa Ogotua melalui pengadaan infografis alur pelayanan. Latar belakang kegiatan ini berangkat dari rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap prosedur administrasi, sehingga sering terjadi kekeliruan dalam penyampaian berkas. Metode yang digunakan meliputi perencanaan, observasi, perancangan desain dengan aplikasi Canva, pencetakan, pembuatan bingkai, hingga penyerahan infografis kepada aparat desa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa infografis yang dipasang di kantor desa mampu memberikan gambaran yang jelas dan mudah dipahami oleh masyarakat, sekaligus memperlihatkan komitmen pemerintah desa dalam memberikan pelayanan yang transparan. PEMANFAATAN MEDIA SOSIAL DALAM PENGEMBANGAN UMKM DESA MALALA SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KESEJAHTERAAN MASYARAKAT
The purpose of implementing community service outreach, particularly for MSMEs, is to provide entrepreneurs with knowledge on developing their economic potential. Utilizing social media as a primary tool for marketing MSME products is a necessary action, as social media serves as a platform for product promotion at a relatively low cost, even without cost. Research findings indicate that Malala Village has economic opportunities in the business sector. Most residents transact in that sector. This community service activity makes it easier for MSMEs in Malala Village to create online stores and market their products through marketplace platforms and social media, thereby increasing their income. MSMEs in Malala Village can increase their market reach by establishing online stores. Furthermore, this initiative supports government programs to strengthen the capacity of MSMEs to compete in the market and improve the welfare of the local community.Tujuan dari pelaksanaan sosialisasi pengabdian kepada masyarakat, khususnya untuk pelaku UMKM, adalah memberikan pengetahuan kepada para pengusaha dalam mengembangkan potensi ekonomi. Memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai alat utama untuk memasarkan produk UMKM adalah tindakan yang perlu dilakukan, sebab media sosial berperan sebagai wadah untuk mempromosikan produk dengan biaya yang relatif murah, bahkan tanpa biaya. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa Desa Malala memiliki kesempatan ekonomi di sektor bisnis. Sebagian besar masyarakat bertransaksi dalam sektor itu. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memberikan kemudahan bagi pelaku UMKM di Desa Malala untuk membuat toko online dan memasarkan produk mereka melalui platform pasar dan media sosial, sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan mereka. Pelaku UMKM Desa Malala dapat meningkatkan jangkauan pasar mereka dengan mendirikan toko online. Tracker Application for Frog Movement Analysis as Practicum Activities About Motion Animal
One of the animal movements is to jump, in addition to walking and crawling. Analyzing animal movements and routines is a time-consuming process and tends to be subjective, prone to errors due to the fatigue of the observer. The Tracker application is an open-source application used in video analysis and modelling tools to determine the accuracy of values. This study aims to analyze the differences in the movement of jumping frogs with different masses and lengths with the help of Tracker software which can use can use in independent practicum activities for science subjects with animal movements. The tools and materials needed include an Android cellphone camera, frogs, and the Tracker application. The measurement results are in the form of a graph of the frog\u27s jumping motion. Furthermore, the data recorded in the Tracker is analyzed using Excel. From the research results, it can be said that tools that can be used in practicum and can track and analyze jumping movements are effectively used in analyzing changes in the x and y positions concerning time in daily learning applications so that they can be found around. When EFL Students Integrated AI Technology into Their Academic Writing: What Should the Lecturers do to Identify, Prevent and Assess Students’ Skills?
This study aims to explore the methodologies employed by educators in identifying, preventing, and evaluating students\u27 academic writing when integrating AI into the process. A single case study approach was used, selecting five English as a Foreign Language (EFL) lecturers from various higher education institutions across Indonesia as respondents. The selection criteria emphasized their expertise in academic writing and AI, demonstrated through their contributions to Scopus-indexed journals, as well as their comprehensive understanding of AI applications. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews, both online and in person. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive principles, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion or verification. The findings revealed a range of methodologies employed by educators. Lecturers primarily focused on writing style, argument complexity, and originality to identify AI\u27s influence. Prevention strategies emphasized enhancing foundational writing skills, encouraging independent research, and promoting academic integrity. For evaluation, lecturers balanced content quality, structural aspects, creativity, and critical thinking, while ensuring academic integrity through plagiarism detection tools. PRAKTEK KEWARGAAN MASYARAKAT ADAT TOLOTANG DALAM MENGAKSES PELAYANAN DASAR PEMERINTAH DI KABUPATEN SIDRAP
ABSTRACT
This study explores the practice of indigenous peoples\u27 citizenship in obtaining basic government services, namely in the fields of education and health. This research was conducted in the Tolotang indigenous community in Sidrap Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The Tolotang indigenous people are some of the indigenous peoples who still maintain their beliefs and culture, namely the belief in Dewata Suae. Indigenous peoples of Tolotang are people who are also indigenous peoples in the course of their history experiencing various interventions from the local government and the central government, one of which is the state which affiliated them to one religion from the six official religions recognized by the state. Three problem formulations are the focus of this research: first, tracking the civic practices of the Tolotang indigenous people in accessing basic services. Second, look at the extent to which the identity provided affects access to basic government services. Third, explore the various challenges they face in accessing basic government services. This study uses a descriptive approach and takes place during the period from April to June 2021, researchers make direct observations at the research location by participating and interacting directly with Indigenous peoples by involving themselves directly (live-in). This study found that the civic practice of the Tolotang indigenous people in accessing public services was heavily influenced by the New Order\u27s policies which made them part of the Hindu religion, this certainly affected government processes such as education. This study finds that the national-religious curriculum in schools in Amparita has a direct impact on students because they have to study subjects that are not their religious beliefs.

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi mengenai praktik kewargaan masyarakat adat dalam memperoleh pelayanan dasar pemerintah yaitu dalam bidang pendidikan dan juga kesehatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam komunitas masyarakat adat Tolotang di Kabupaten Sidrap, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Masyarakat adat Tolotang merupakan salah satu masyarakat adat yang masih mempertahankan kepercayaan dan budaya mereka yaitu kepercayaan terhadap Dewata Suae. Masyarakat adat Tolotang adalah masyarakat yang juga merupakan masyarakat adat yang dalam perjalanan sejarahnya mengalami berbagai intervensi abik dari pemerintah daerah maupun pemerintah pusat salah satunya adalah negara yang mengafiliasikan mereka kedalam salah satu agama dari enam agama resmi yang diakui negara. Terdapat tiga rumusan masalah yang menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini: pertama, melacak praktek kewargaan masyarakat adat Tolotang dalam mengakses layanan dasar. Kedua, melihat sejauh apa identitas yang diberikan mempengaruhi akses terhadap memperoleh layanan dasar pemerintah. Ketiga, mengeksplorasi berbagai tantangan yang mereka hadapi dalam mengakses layanan dasar pemerintah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan berlangsung selama tiga bulan dengan periode waktu April – Juni 2021, peneliti melakukan pengamatan langsung di lokasi penelitian dengan berpartisipasi dan berbaur langsung dengan masyarakat Adat dengan melibatkan diri secara langsung (live-in). penelitian ini menemukan bahwa praktik kewargaan masyarakat adat Tolotang dalam mengakses pelayanan publik banyak dipengaruhi oleh kebijakan orde baru yang menjadikan mereka sebagai bagian dari agama Hindu hal ini tentu berpengaruh pada proses pelayanan dasar pemerintah seperti pendidikan. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kurikulum nasional keagamaan pada sekolah-sekolah di Amparita berdampak langsung pada siswa-siswi karena mereka harus mempelajari pelajaran yang bukan merupakan keyakinan agama mereka
