Employee performanceis a crucial aspect in determining the success of public sector organizations. Factors such as transformational leadership, work discipline, and organizational commitment play a significant role in shaping employee work behavior. Therefore, analyzing the relationship among these variables is essential for understanding sustainable performance improvement strategies. This study aims to analyze the role of organizational commitment in mediating the influence of transformational leadership and work discipline on employee performance at the Welfare Division of the Regional Secretariat of Manokwari Regency. The entire population of 42 employees was used as the sample through a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis employed the SEM-PLS approach. The results indicate that both transformational leadership and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Transformational leadership also significantly affects organizational commitment, while the effect of work discipline on commitment is not significant. Organizational commitment is proven to significantly influence employee performance and serves as a partial mediator in the relationship between transformational leadership and work discipline on performance. The practical implication is that performance improvement can be achieved through the development of individual KPIs, strengthening discipline through integrated digital attendance systems and clear standard operating procedures (SOPs), as well as fostering a fair work environment to build employee commitment

The hotel industry is one of the service industries that has high operational activities, including procurement transactions for goods and services made by purchasing on credit, resulting in debt. At Hotel XYZ, the vendor debt payment system plays an important role in maintaining smooth operations and cooperative relationships with suppliers. However, there are still problems in the form of late payments that can interfere with operational continuity and vendor confidence. This study aims to analyze internal control in the vendor payable payment system at Hotel XYZ and evaluate weaknesses to provide recommendations for improvement. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach and data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that Hotel XYZ has implemented most of the elements of internal control, such as organizational structure, tiered authorization, the use of sequentially numbered documents, and the use of the Power Pro system for recording transactions. However, there are still weaknesses such as duplication of duties, delays in manual authorization, and the absence of automatic reminders of payment due dates. Therefore, it is necessary to strictly separate functions, digitize the authorization process, and implement a reminder system to improve the quality of internal control

This study aims to analyze the legal regulations and criminal sanctions against illegal road racing perpetrators in Indonesia. Illegal road racing, which is often carried out by teenagers, not only endangers the perpetrators and the community but also constitutes a form of violation of the law regulated in Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation (LLAJ Law). The research method used is normative juridical with a statutory and case approach. The results of the study indicate that illegal road racing is specifically regulated in Article 115 and Article 297 of the LLAJ Law, with the threat of criminal sanctions of imprisonment for a maximum of 1 (one) year or a maximum fine of Rp. 3,000,000.00 (three million rupiah). In addition, this action can also be linked to other articles such as Articles 283, 284, 287, and 311 of the LLAJ Law. This study concludes that although regulations have been in place, the effectiveness of law enforcement still requires a comprehensive approach, including preventive and repressive efforts from law enforcement and the active role of the community

The hotel industry in Bali faces the challenge of continuously innovating to improve operational efficiency along with the increasing number of tourists and the trend of digitalization. One innovation implemented is the use of digital payments to replace cash transactions. This study aims to describe the implementation of digital payments and analyze its contribution to improving operational efficiency at Hotel X Bali, focusing on five main sections: accounts receivable, general cashier, income audit, front office cashier, and restaurant bar cashier. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted based on the theory of efficiency (Syamsi, 2007) which includes six indicators: mind, energy, body, time, space, and objects. The results show that all sections are in the "more efficient" category. The highest score was achieved by the front office cashier at 3.8, while the lowest score of 3.4 was found for accounts receivable and restaurant bar cashier. The implementation of digital payments increases efficiency by accelerating transaction and recording processes, and minimizing errors. Obstacles still found are unstable internet connections, data inconsistencies, and reliance on manual documents. These findings contribute to hotel management in identifying areas that require digital system optimization for better operational efficiency

Poverty in Central Java Province has reached the second-highest level after the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This study aims to examine the effect of the fiscal independence ratio, transfer funds, and regional expenditure on poverty in Central Java Province for the 2020-2025 period. The data used in this study are secondary, the analytical method used is panel data regression, and the model used is a fixed effect model. Econometric testing tests classical assumptions, using the t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R2) to test the hypothesis. The results show that the variables of fiscal independence, transfer funds, and regional expenditure have a positive and significant effect on the poverty rate in Central Java Province. This study shows that fiscal independence, transfer funds, and regional spending significantly impacted poverty in Central Java during the 2020–2024 period, but the direction of this influence is not aligned with the goal of poverty alleviation. Fiscal independence and regional spending actually increase poverty, while transfer funds, which should reduce poverty, have the opposite effect

Digital Marketing Strategy: An Analysis of the Effectiveness of Influencer and Affiliate Endorsements in Promoting Women's Fashion Products

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of digital marketing strategies through influencer endorsements and affiliate marketing in influencing consumer purchase intention for women's fashion products, as well as to examine the role of brand awareness as a moderating variable. The research employed a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis based on data collected through questionnaires. The findings reveal that influencer endorsements have a significant and positive effect on purchase intention, indicating that an influencer's credibility, attractiveness, and expertise can enhance consumer willingness to purchase fashion products. In contrast, affiliate marketing does not have a significant direct effect on purchase intention. Regarding the moderating effect, brand awareness does not significantly strengthen the relationship between influencer endorsements and purchase intention, but it does significantly enhance the relationship between affiliate marketing and purchase intention. These results suggest that affiliate marketing strategies are effective only when supported by high brand awareness, whereas the influence of endorsements relies more heavily on the personal branding and credibility of the influencer. The managerial implications of this study highlight the importance for women's fashion companies to optimize collaborations with credible influencers and to build strong brand awareness to improve the effectiveness of affiliate marketing strategies

The Role of Perception of Organizational Justice and Employee Commitment on Whistleblowing Intention With Job Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable at PT Maybank Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the influence of Perceived Organizational Justice and Organizational Commitment on Whistleblowing Intention, with Job Satisfaction as an intervening variable among employees of PT Maybank Indonesia. A quantitative approach was used in this study, collecting data through an online questionnaire distributed to 45 respondents. The analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using the SmartPLS 4 application. The results indicate that perceived organizational justice significantly influences whistleblowing intention, but does not significantly influence job satisfaction. Conversely, organizational commitment significantly influences job satisfaction, but does not directly influence whistleblowing intention. Job satisfaction was shown to act as a partial mediator in the relationship between organizational commitment and whistleblowing intention, but did not mediate the effect of perceived organizational justice on whistleblowing intention. These findings provide important implications for organizations to consider aspects of job satisfaction and commitment in an effort to foster a healthy whistleblowing culture. This study also recommends the development of internal policies and a secure reporting system to increase employee participation in whistleblowing disclosures

Analysis of Audience Reception on the TikTok Account @meetnitelivemetrotv in Increasing Audience Interest in Consuming News : -

The rapid development of digital technology and social media has transformed the way audiences consume news, particularly among younger generations. TikTok, as a short-form video platform, has shifted from being merely a source of entertainment to becoming an important channel for information and news. This phenomenon raises a research problem regarding how audiences receive, interpret, and respond to news content presented in a new format, as exemplified by Metro TV’s official TikTok account, @meetnitelive. The purpose of this study is to analyze audience reception of the account’s news content and to explore how it influences public interest in consuming news. This research employs Stuart Hall’s Reception Analysis Theory, which emphasizes that audiences are not passive recipients of media messages but actively interpret them based on their social, cultural, and ideological contexts. Using a qualitative approach with a constructivist paradigm, the study finds that audiences occupy three interpretive positions: dominant, negotiated, and oppositional. The findings reveal that Metro TV, through @meetnitelive, successfully captures audience attention by delivering short, interactive, and visually engaging content aligned with digital trends. Nevertheless, some audiences remain critical of the accuracy, objectivity, and journalistic ethics of the news presented. These results underline that the success of media in the digital era depends not only on innovative formats but also on the ability to maintain credibility while fostering participatory audience engagement
