    Get PDF
This study aims to analyze the implementation of sustainable purchasing at Hotel X based on the indicators listed in the Marriott International Responsible Sourcing Guide. Along with increasing awareness of sustainability issues and pressure from various stakeholders, the hotel industry is required to adopt environmentally friendly and socially responsible practices, including in the procurement process of goods and services. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and internal hotel documentation. The results show that the purchasing department of Hotel X has implemented four of the six main product categories focused on in the Marriott guide, namely animal protein (crate-free pork), bottled water (using recycled glass bottles and gallons), coffee (from suppliers with sustainable agriculture standards), and seafood (from certified suppliers). The other three categories, namely cocoa, sugar, and cage-free chicken eggs, have not been fully implemented due to limited supplies from local suppliers who have not met Marriott International's sustainability standards. These findings indicate that the hotel has demonstrated a strong commitment to environmental sustainability by considering environmental, social, and ethical aspects in the purchasing process. This implementation also reflects the principles of stakeholder theory, where the hotel strives to meet the expectations of stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, communities, and parent companies, and contributes to the achievement of sustainable development goals promoted by Marriott International globally

    No full text
This study aims to analyze the role of price fairness as a mediating variable in the relationship between product quality, service quality, and repurchase intention among Honda car customers in Bali. The intense competition in the automotive industry in Bali requires companies to focus not only on product and service quality but also on effective pricing strategies to retain customers. Despite its importance, research on the role of price fairness as a mediator in this context is still limited. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method distributed to 160 respondents who are Honda car customers in Bali, selected using a purposive sampling technique. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire with a Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results show that product quality does not have a significant direct effect on repurchase intention, and service quality has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention. Furthermore, the findings confirm that price fairness significantly mediates the relationship between product quality and repurchase intention, as well as the relationship between service quality and repurchase intention. The output of this research is expected to provide strategic recommendations for Honda dealers in increasing customer retention through a better understanding of the role of price fairness

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of profitability, liquidity, and leverage on tax avoidance. This study observed 58 property companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020-2023 period. This study used a quantitative approach using cross-sectional data, which was then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS application. Secondary data for this study came from the Financial Reports of Property Companies in Indonesia. The results showed that the independent variable, profitability, significantly influenced the dependent variable, tax avoidance. The effective tax rate or large tax burden of property companies can encourage them to engage in tax avoidance. Conversely, the independent variables, liquidity and leverage, did not significantly influence the dependent variable, corporate tax avoidance

    Get PDF
This study aims to examine the spatial utilization activity suitability licensing (KKPR) policy for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in Buleleng Regency, particularly in the context of the manual implementation of the Spatial Utilization Activity Suitability Approval (PKKPR). The main focus of the study is to assess the extent to which this policy has guaranteed the principles of legal certainty, justice, and benefit for business actors, as mandated by the Job Creation Law and Government Regulation Number 21 of 2021. The research method used is an empirical legal research method that examines the gap between legal regulations and the reality in society using a juridical analysis approach supported by primary data sourced from interviews, which are then analyzed qualitatively and processed with legal theories. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the manual policy by the Buleleng Regency Government is still not in line with the principle of risk-based licensing simplification through OSS-RBA. This policy, although intended to protect MSEs from spatial planning violations, actually creates procedural inconsistencies and additional administrative burdens that have the potential to reduce legal certainty and the efficiency of public services. This study recommends accelerating the digitalization of RDTR, integrating the regional licensing system with OSS-RBA, and strengthening education and coaching for MSMEs so that the spatial licensing process can be implemented fairly, beneficially, and provide optimal legal certainty

The ambiguity of the legal status of village residential land after the enactment of the Basic Agrarian Law, particularly concerning the transfer of land rights carried out through private sales transactions. This research uses an empirical legal research method with a juridical sociological, legislative, and conceptual approach. The data used consists of primary data obtained through interviews and secondary data collected from various related literature.  The research results show that although the buying and selling transactions of village yard land in Banyuning are conducted without official registration at the land office, they are still recognized as valid by customary law as long as there is an agreement from the local customary community. However, under national law, these transactions are not valid as they do not meet the procedures established by land regulations. In conclusion, to provide clearer legal certainty, there needs to be regulations governing the authentic transfer of rights over village yard land through a Land Deed Official (PPAT) and registration at the land office

    Get PDF
Child grooming in the digital realm, particularly through online gaming platforms, has evolved into a complex and systematic form of cybercrime. This study aims to examine the phenomenon of child grooming in the online gaming world from a media criminology perspective, focusing on predatory communication patterns, the dynamics of psychological manipulation of children, and systemic weaknesses in digital child protection regulations in Indonesia. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data was obtained through literature studies, analysis of reports from institutions such as UNICEF, ECPAT, and the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI), and articles from national online media. The findings indicate that groomers utilize interactive game features such as voice chat, text chat, and virtual gifts to create emotional closeness, build trust, and ultimately exploit children. Legal loopholes are found in the absence of explicit articles related to the pre-exploitation (grooming) stage in the Child Protection Law and the Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE) Law. Furthermore, content moderation on digital platforms is not yet responsive to the manipulative interactions that precede sexual crimes. Within the media criminology framework, child grooming is understood as a crime amplified by technological infrastructure, social algorithms, and regulatory failures. This study recommends amending laws, strengthening AI-based moderation, curriculum-based digital literacy, and cross-border cooperation as strategic steps to stem the escalation of sexual crimes against children in cyberspace
