Sentiment Analysis On Boycott Movement: NVivo Approach

Many countries have carried out the boycott, divestment, and sanction (BDS) movement. Research on this topic contains an interesting sentimental side and needs to be mapped to help future research. This study aims to determine the problem's evolution and mapping, along with sentiment analysis related to BDS. This study uses a descriptive statistical analysis approach combined with meta-analysis and sentiment analysis of secondary data in the form of metadata from 81 Scopus-indexed articles published over the past 15 years, which were then processed using NVivo 15. The findings of this study reveal that the majority of studies have a somewhat negative perspective on BDS. Negative sentiment shows that many studies use sharp and negative sentences, as well as sentences that cause debate; this is related to the "Hasbara" propaganda built by Israel, while positive sentiment on this topic is small due to the lack of research using positive sentences about BDS. This study can provide knowledge about the sentiment of the boycott movement and be a reference for future research. This research can be helpful for pro-Palestine parties and BDS supporters in increasing publications on the boycott movement from various sectors so that it becomes a means to support Palestine’s independence

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of financial performance on firm value moderated by good corporate governance (GCG) in the banking sector listed on the IDX for 2018-2022. The population in this study was 47 companies in the banking sector. Based on the predetermined criteria, 31 banks were obtained within five years. The data used is secondary data in the form of financial reports from each bank. The data analysis techniques in this study were multiple linear regression and moderated regression analysis using SPSS software. The study results indicate that profitability, liquidity, solvency, and good corporate governance positively affect firm value. Good corporate governance strengthens the relationship between profitability and solvency with firm value. However, good corporate governance weakens the relationship between liquidity and firm value. This study contributes to the literature on the relationship between financial performance and firm value, especially in the banking sector, by showing that good corporate governance can moderate the relationship between profitability, liquidity, and solvency on firm value. This study strengthens the relevance of agency and signaling theories in explaining how good corporate governance can influence market perceptions and investor decisions. This study can reference banks in increasing firm value by considering good corporate governance

This study aims to find empirical evidence of the influence of capital adequacy ratio (CAR), non-performing financing (NPF), and third-party financing (TPF) on profit distribution management, moderated by return on assets (ROA). This study employs a quantitative approach using panel data regression. The data is generated in numerical form using secondary data from financial reports obtained through the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchanges (IDX). The Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia listed on the IDX 2016-2022 comprise the study population, and a purposive sampling method is used to determine the sample size so that a sample of 9 Islamic commercial banks with 63 observation data is obtained. EViews 10 is used for the data analysis method, and the random effect model (REM) is used for the research model. The research findings suggest that CAR, TPF, and ROA positively affect profit distribution management. Meanwhile, NPF does not affect profit distribution management. ROA is proven to strengthen the effect of CAR and TPF on profit distribution management. While ROA cannot moderate the relationship between NPF and profit distribution management. This study can complement existing theories, especially regarding the relationship between capital adequacy and third-party funds with profit distribution management moderated by ROA. The practical implications of these findings for Islamic bank policies regarding the importance of increasing profitability and reducing problematic financing to maximize profit-sharing management

This study analyses the perception and interest of young entrepreneurs in Sharia-based business financing at BSI in Sungai Penuh City, Jambi. This study uses a qualitative approach with primary data from interviews. Interviews were conducted directly with six informants. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman approach with the following stages: data reduction, data presentation, verification, and conclusion. The results of the study indicate that the perception of young entrepreneurs towards Sharia-based loans is generally very positive; they understand the basic principles of Sharia in financing without interest and the application of profit sharing. Young entrepreneurs also recognize the benefits of sharia financing, such as easy access and simple procedures. On the other hand, the interest of young entrepreneurs in Sharia financing is still relatively low. This is due to the need for more socialization and support from Sharia financial institutions and limited financing options. Theoretically, this study can be used as a reference for relevant research in the future. Practically, this study can be a reference for Sharia financial institutions in designing marketing strategies and developing financing products that meet prospective customers' needs so that they can have a positive impact and increase interest and awareness of the importance of Sharia financing among young entrepreneurs
