略／戦術と葛藤――合理的配慮の検討に向けて

本研究の目的は、高次脳機能障害者による障害の自己開示と非開示をめぐる戦略と葛藤、就労現場に
おけるパッシングをめぐる戦略と葛藤、就労移行支援における葛藤を明らかにすることを通じて、就労
現場での「見えにくい障害」に対する合理的配慮を検討することである。 
序章では、高次脳機能障害の特徴と関連制度、高次脳機能障害と自己開示の関係性を整理し、制度と
しての合理的配慮が障害の社会モデルに開けていないことを説明したうえで、高次脳機能障害者が経験
してきた自己開示に関連する先行研究の視覚、本稿の視座と目的を示す。高次脳機能障害は、行政的な
診断基準が定まったのは 2001年のため、社会の認知は身体的特徴のない発達障害や精神障害、他者か
らは見えにくくわかりにくい軽度身体障害などに比べて多くない。さらに身体的特徴のなさと障害によ
る症状が障害のない人にも共通するため、障害当事者の自己開示は葛藤を伴うものとなり、補償努力を
重ねて非開示・パッシングを選択する障害当事者がいることを指摘する。分析視角は、クラインマンの
「病／障害」であることの気づき、ゴフマンのパッシング論を採用し、それぞれの場面における気づき
と相互行為、そこで生じた葛藤に着目する。合理的配慮の授受においては、センのいうケイパビリティ
概念を採用し、3章以降の各章で考察する。 
第 1章では、高次脳機能障害の契機と主症状を説明し、制度の成り立ちと現状を整理する。本研究の
成果は、見えにくい、理解されにくい障害ゆえに配慮を受けるか受けないかを割り切れない者たち、い
かなる配慮が適切かに関して当事者と社会そのものに混乱がある場合における、合理的配慮のありかた
を検討するための示唆を提示しうるという社会的意義を示す。 
第 2章では、研究参加者の概要を整理し、就労支援の制度を説明する。調査方法はスノーボールサン
プリング法で募り、協力の得られた障害当事者 20名・高次脳機能障害者の就労に関わる支援員 12名・
雇用する会社 4社のインタビューデータを分析する。 
第 3章では、事故や病気などの契機があることで、どのようにして高次脳機能障害の診断名と自身に
ある症状とが結びついたのか明らかにする。障害当事者にとって契機があるということは、契機の直後
に受けた診断名の有無にかかわらず、時間が経ってから障害当事者の気づきに作用すること、症状と診
断名が結びついた際には、自身に生じた「病／障害」への納得／確信を補強する要素になることを指摘
する。障害当事者は診断を受け止めることで受傷後に生じていた変化を納得できる一方で、葛藤や喪失
体験を伴うものであることを指摘する。 
第 4章では、高次脳機能障害の気づきを経た障害当事者が、社会でどのように自己開示を選択し、そ
の際に生じたジレンマを明らかにする。自己開示が自身の誇りや他者による承認など心理的な問題だけ
ではなく、生活にかかわる実際的な問題としても、自己開示の問題を語った。そしてそのとき、開示／
非開示の選択は、より複雑な戦略的選択を示すことを指摘する。その選択には、ただ開示する／しない
だけでなく、開示の時期や度合いの選択でもある。高次脳機能障害者の自己開示は対他的関係だけでな
く、実利的な問題に葛藤を伴うものとなることを指摘する。 
第 5章では、高次脳機能障害者によるパッシングをめぐる動機や背景、その具体的な実践とパッシン
グを行うことに潜在する高次脳機能障害特有の困難や不安を検討する。高次脳機能障害者は、他者に見
えにくくわかりにくい軽度身体障害者などが直面した努力不足という偏見に対して補償努力を選択せざ
るを得ず、その結果、社会的無理解が助長するという悪循環に加え、認知機能の障害ゆえにパッシング
の成否やその継続性にも不安を抱える。だが合理的配慮を要請すると、それまでの努力が無に帰すとい
う新たな葛藤に繋がる。以上を踏まえ、高次脳機能障害者のパッシングに社会的無理解や障害の症状と
の相互作用の中で生じる連鎖的な困難があることを指摘する。高次脳機能障害者のパッシングとその後
の経緯を検討すると、外見的にも、失敗や可能なことの境界においても、すぐさま健常者と区別がしが
たいとされる症状は同障害に対する社会の無理解だけでなく、当事者自身にも混乱と葛藤を引き起こす
ことを指摘する。 
第 6章では、高次脳機能障害者が訓練を通して経験する受け入れの困難と支援員の葛藤を記述し、受
け入れやすい支援の在り方を検討する。先行研究が指摘する通り、支援員は制度を通した支援の中で困
難経験を抱えており、障害当事者の自己理解の推進とその反発の中だけでなく、訓練を終えて就労した
先でも障害当事者は困難に直面するという可能性に葛藤を抱える。身体的特徴がなく、障害そのものを
受け入れがたい高次脳機能障害者の支援として、障害当事者が契機の後に生じた「（高次脳機能）障
害」に支援の焦点を当てるのではなく、「変化」として介入することによる受け入れやすさを指摘し
た。 
第 7章では、高次脳機能障害者の事例を通じて、合理的配慮の提供に際して当事者が抱える葛藤を記
述し、現行の合理的配慮の設計に潜む問題を検討する。まず明らかなことは、先行研究が指摘する通
り、現行の合理的配慮は、説明責任を当事者に課す個人モデルに立脚しており、それを適切に説明する
のが困難な高次脳機能障害者の場合、配慮の過少や過剰へとつながることを指摘する。そのため、当事
者たちは、説明責任を専門家が代行することを望んでいるが、それによってすべての問題が解決するこ
とにはならない。なぜならば、当事者自身が努力を続けることにもがき、やりがいを喪失したり、落胆
することの背景には、自らが内面化している労働規範や企業文化から自らを解放できないという問題が
存在するためであることを指摘する。 
障害に関する社会の否定的な反応を感受してしまうと同時に、努力主義的な労働規範や生産主義的な
企業文化に照らして自身の労働や行為の遂行への否定的な反応を感受し、自らスティグマを付与してし
まう当事者にとって、インペアメントに照らした合理的配慮だけでなく、文化や規範からの逸脱に対応
した配慮が必要であることは間違いない。それは高次脳機能障害だけでなく、その他の見えない障害、
後天的な障害にも当てはまることだと推測する。 
 以上から、本論文では、高次脳機能障害者は自己開示を用いてどのように社会を渡っていったか、そ
の動機と葛藤を明らかにし、障害当事者にあるべき合理的配慮を提示する。

The purpose of this study is to examine reasonable accommodation for “invisible disability” in the workplace through clarifying strategies and conflicts 
surrounding self-disclosure and nondisclosure of disability by persons with higher brain dysfunction, strategies and conflicts surrounding passing in the 
workplace, and conflicts in employment transition support. 
In the introduction, the characteristics of higher brain dysfunction and related systems, the relationship between higher brain dysfunction and self-disclosure 
are summarized, and after explaining that reasonable accommodation as an institution is not open to the social model of disability, a visual of previous 
studies related to self-disclosure experienced by people with higher brain dysfunction, the perspective and purpose of this paper are presented. Since 
administrative diagnostic criteria for higher brain dysfunction were not established until 2001, social recognition of higher brain dysfunction is not as great 
as that of developmental disabilities and mental disorders, which have no physical characteristics, and mild physical disabilities, which are difficult to see 
and understand by others. Furthermore, because the lack of physical characteristics and the symptoms caused by disability are common to people without 
disabilities, self-disclosure by persons with disabilities becomes a conflict, and some persons with disabilities choose non-disclosure/passing through 
compensatory efforts. The analytical perspective adopts Kleinman's awareness of being “sick/disabled” and Goffman's theory of passing, and focuses on the 
awareness and interaction in each situation and the conflicts that arise there. In the giving and receiving of rational consideration, Sen's concept of capability 
is adopted, and is discussed in chapters 3 and following. 
Chapter 1 describes the triggers and main symptoms of higher brain dysfunction, and summarizes the origins and current status of the system. The results of 
this study are of social significance in that they may provide suggestions for considering how reasonable accommodations should be made for those who 
are unable to decide whether or not to receive accommodations due to a disability that is difficult to see or understand, and for those who are confused about 
what accommodations are appropriate for them and for society itself. 
Chapter 2 provides an overview of the study participants and a description of the employment support system. The survey method was based on the 
snowball sampling method, and interview data from 20 persons with disabilities, 12 support workers involved in the employment of persons with higher 
brain dysfunction, and four employing companies who cooperated with the survey will be analyzed. 
In Chapter 3, we will clarify how the diagnoses of higher brain dysfunction and their own symptoms are linked due to the presence of triggers such as 
accidents and illnesses. It will be pointed out that the presence of an occasion, regardless of the diagnosis received immediately after the occasion, affects 
the disabled person's awareness after a long period of time, and that the connection between the symptoms and the diagnosis is a factor that reinforces the 
conviction/conviction of the “illness/disability” that has occurred to the disabled person. He points out that while accepting the diagnosis allows the disabled 
person to be convinced of the changes that have occurred since the injury, it is also accompanied by an experience of conflict and loss. 
Chapter 4 reveals how people with disabilities who have gone through the realization of higher brain dysfunction choose to self-disclose in society and the 
dilemmas that arise in doing so. He spoke of the issue of self-disclosure not only as a psychological issue, such as pride in oneself and recognition by others, 
but also as a practical issue related to one's life. He points out that the choice between disclosure and nondisclosure then represents a more complex strategic 
choice. The choice is not only to disclose or not to disclose, but also to choose the timing and degree of disclosure. We point out that self-disclosure by 
persons with higher brain dysfunction can involve conflicts in pragmatic issues as well as in interpersonal relationships. 
Chapter 5 examines the motivations and background surrounding passing by persons with higher brain dysfunction, their specific practices, and the 
difficulties and anxieties specific to higher brain dysfunction that are latent in the practice of passing. People with higher brain dysfunction are forced to 
choose compensatory efforts in response to the prejudice of lack of effort faced by people with mild physical disabilities, etc., who are less visible and 
difficult to understand, and as a result, the vicious cycle of social incomprehension is fostered, as well as anxiety about the success or failure of passing and 
its continuation due to cognitive impairment. In addition, the patient is concerned about the success or failure of the passing and its continuity due to 
cognitive dysfunction. However, requesting reasonable accommodation leads to a new conflict in which the efforts made up to that point are nullified. 
Based on the above, we point out that there is a chain of difficulties that arise in the interaction of social incomprehension and symptoms of disability in the 
passing of persons with higher brain dysfunction. Examining the passing of persons with higher brain dysfunction and their subsequent history, we point out 
that the symptoms that make it difficult to immediately distinguish them from normal people, both in appearance and in the boundaries of failure and what 
is possible, cause confusion and conflict not only in society's incomprehension of the disorder, but also in the persons themselves. 
Chapter 6 describes the difficulties of acceptance experienced by people with higher brain dysfunction through training and the conflicts of support workers, 
and examines how support should be provided to facilitate acceptance. As previous studies have pointed out, support workers have difficult experiences in 
the support through the system, and are conflicted not only in the promotion of self-understanding of the disabled party and its opposition, but also in the 
possibility that the disabled party will face difficulties even after completing training and entering the workforce. As support for persons with higher brain 
dysfunction who do not have physical characteristics and have difficulty accepting the disability itself, we pointed out the ease of acceptance by intervening 
as a “change” rather than focusing support on the “(higher brain function) impairment” that occurred after the disabled party was triggered. 
In Chapter 7, through a case study of a person with higher brain dysfunction, we describe the conflicts that the person concerned faces when providing 
reasonable accommodation, and examine the problems latent in the current design of reasonable accommodation. First, it is clear that, as previous studies 
have pointed out, the current rational considerations are based on an individual model that imposes accountability on the parties concerned, which leads to 
under- or over-consideration in the case of persons with higher brain dysfunction who have difficulty explaining it appropriately. Therefore, the parties 
would like accountability to be delegated to professionals, but this will not solve all problems. The reason for this is that behind the struggle to continue their 
own efforts and the loss of motivation and discouragement lies the problem of their inability to free themselves from the work norms and corporate culture 
that they themselves have internalized. 
For those who perceive the negative reactions of society to their disabilities, and at the same time perceive negative reactions to their own work and actions 
in light of the effort-oriented labor norms and production-oriented corporate culture, and who stigmatize themselves, not only reasonable consideration in 
light of impairments, but also consideration in response to deviations from culture and norms are necessary. For those who are themselves stigmatized, it is 
clear that they need not only reasonable accommodations in light of impairments, but also accommodations that address deviations from culture and norms. 
We assume that this applies not only to higher brain dysfunction but also to other invisible or acquired disabilities. 
 Based on the above, this paper clarifies how people with higher brain dysfunction used self-disclosure to cross over into society, their motivations and 
conflicts, and presents reasonable consideration that should be given to people with disabilities.

As robots become more integrated into society, Non-Linguistic Utterances (NLUs) serve as an 
effective communicative tool for expressing emotion, spatial localization, and conveying basic status 
information. This dissertation explores the synthesis and affective response of NLUs, focusing on 
sounds used in media and by social robots to convey emotion or intention. Additionally, it introduces 
novel methods for generating and evaluating NLUs using Genetic Algorithms (GA) and Machine 
Learning. 
 
To develop a model that infers the affective response of NLUs, existing NLUs from popular media 
were rated for valence and arousal by subjects. These ratings informed the development of a Random 
Forest model, which was able to accurately predict the valence and arousal of NLUs. The model was 
validated using the AudioSet dataset as well as ratings obtained from subjects from experiments. This 
model demonstrated a method for curating sound datasets, aiding in the selection of sounds for specific 
emotional contexts. 
 
Furthermore, the dissertation presents an automatic NLU generation method that combines GA 
with a neural network, using the Random Forest model to infer valence and arousal of the generated 
sounds. These sounds were then evaluated by subjects, and the results were statistically validated. This 
approach, leveraging a MIDI-based framework and carefully designed GA parameters, enables the 
rapid creation of emotionally expressive sounds.

 Validation of the model with a large audio dataset and a curated sound selection

 Rapid generation of NLUs that represent distinct emotions, validated through GA

ロボットが社会で普及する中で、非言語発話（Non-Linguistic Utterances, NLU）は、ロボ
ットが感情を表現し、音を使って空間での位置を特定し、基本的な状態情報を伝えるための有
用なコミュニケーション手段となっている。本論文では、NLU の合成と感情的反応について探
求し、メディアやソーシャルロボット、その他の機械が感情や意図を伝えるために使用する音
に焦点を当てる。また、遺伝的アルゴリズム（GA）と機械学習を用いた NLU の生成および評価
の新しい方法も紹介する。まず、NLU の感情的反応を推測するモデルを構築・検証するために、
人気のあるメディアで使用されている既存の NLU を、被験者が快・不快（Valence）および覚醒
度（Arousal）の観点から実験で評価した。この実験結果を基に、ランダムフォレストモデルを
開発し、NLU のヴァレンスとアラウザルを推測した。このモデルは、一般的な音声データセッ
トである AudioSet を用いて検証された。その後、このモデルを用いて、特定の感情的な状況に
適した音を選択するプロセスを支援するため、音声データセットをキュレーションする方法を
示した。モデルを検証するために、被験者はデータセット内の音が感情的な状況に適合してい
るかどうかを実験で評価した。 
  
次に、遺伝的アルゴリズム（GA）とニューラルネットワークを組み合わせた NLU の自動生成
方法を紹介し、生成された NLU のヴァレンスとアラウザルを推測するためにランダムフォレス
トモデルを適用し、感情反応モデルの応用をさらに検証した。生成された音は、被験者により
ヴァレンスとアラウザルが評価され、その結果は統計的に検証された。このアプローチにより、
幅広い感情表現を伴う音を迅速に生成することが可能となる。これらの手法を統合することで、
ソーシャルロボットの感情表現能力を効果的に強化し、その相互作用能力を向上させるための
新たな効率的ツールが提供される。 
  
本論文の主な貢献として、1. 人気のあるメディアからの既存の NLU の感情反応をモデル化
する方法、2. 大規模な音声データセットにおける感情反応の測定を含むモデルの検証、3. GA
とニューラルネットワークを活用した、大量かつ有効な NLU の迅速な生成が挙げられる。NLU
のヴァレンスとアラウザルのモデル化および検証、ならびに機械学習と遺伝的アルゴリズムの
音声設計分野への応用は、NLU の生成と選択に関する研究に対して、理論的洞察と実用的なツ

旨 
 本論文は、東南アジアにおける銅の二次埋蔵量を現在から将来にわたり推計し、その
含意について考察したものであり、第 1章序論、第 2 章方法とデータ、第 3 章結果と考
察、第 4 章結論と今後の課題、で構成される。 
 本論文では、動的物質フロー分析を使用して、1960 年から 2022 年までのインドネシ
ア、マレーシア、フィリピン、タイ、ベトナムの銅のフロー・ストックを推計し、5 つ
の共通社会経済経路シナリオを使用して 2050 年までの推計を行っている。また、二次
資源の類型枠組みを適用して、これらの国々における二次銅資源とその回収可能性を評
価している。 
 その結果、これらの国全体の銅の総ストック量は今後も増加を続け、インドネシアの
総ストック量は 2050 年までに約 5～12Mt、5 か国中で最大になるとの推計が示されてい
る。また、2022 年にマレーシアの 1 人当たり銅ストック量は 100kg/人で最大だったが、
すべての国が、2050 年までに主要な銅消費先進国の 1 人当たりストック量を上回ること
はなかったとしている。さらに、銅の需要は2023年から2050年にかけて毎年118～238kt
増加し、使用済み銅スクラップの大幅な増加につながったとしている。 
 2050 年までにインドネシアの二次銅埋蔵量は 4,096kt に達すると推計され、他の国で
も同様の伸びが見込まれるとの結果が示されている。埋立地において大量の銅ストック
が推計され、その量も 2050 年までに 3.7～18.3 倍に増加するとの推計結果は、持続可
能な廃棄物管理の緊急性を浮き彫りにしている。また、リサイクル率が 80～90%に上昇
すれば、2050 年には二次銅が銅需要量の最大 42～65%を満たす可能性がある。ただし、
現在のリサイクル率はこれをはるかに下回っており、廃棄物管理システムの改善が緊急
に必要であることが強調されている。本論文では、経済発展と資源の持続可能性のバラ
ンスをとりながら、政策立案者にリサイクル効率を改善し、一次銅資源への依存を減ら
すための重要な情報を提供するものである。

旨 
本論文の審査に先立ち、公聴会を開催した。公聴会では学位申請者による論文要旨の
説明の後、審査委員による口頭試問を行った。 
本論文は、天然資源の枯渇や採掘・製錬に伴う環境影響を背景として、二次資源・都
市鉱山の評価・活用が求められる中、東南アジア諸国を対象として現在及び将来の二次
資源の定量化を試みたものであり、以下の点が評価される。 
第 1に、これまでに二次資源の類型枠組みを適用した定量化は先進国を対象に行われ
てきているが、これを途上国に適用した点である。データの利用可能性が先進国に比べ
低いことから、東南アジアの中でも対象国を絞っているものの、これから資源需要の増
加が見込まれる途上国を対象とした推計を試み、二次資源の類型ごとに定量化した点が
評価される。その結果、タイやベトナムにおいては、二次銅埋蔵量の方が一次銅埋蔵量
（天然の銅埋蔵量）より多いことを示している。 
第 2に、二次資源の類型枠組みによる定量化は、現在や過去を対象としたものが報告
されているが、将来を対象として定量化を行った点である。これは本論文が途上国を対
象としていることも関係している。東南アジアにおける資源需要の増加によって将来の
二次埋蔵量は増加していく可能性があり、それを 2050 年まで定量的に示した点が評価
される。その結果、二次資源全体に占める埋立地の二次資源量及びそのシェアが 2050
年に向けて大きくなることを示している。 
第 3に、将来の定量化を行うための方法を、既存研究をアレンジし途上国にも適用で
きるものとして構築した点である。1 人あたりの銅ストック量の飽和値を推計するにあ
たっては、銅の用途も変化していく中で GDP 以外の要因を考慮する必要があるなど課題
もあるが、今後の研究展開として期待できる部分でもある。 
以上の通り、公聴会での口頭試問結果および論文審査を踏まえ、審査委員会は本論文
が本研究科の博士学位論文審査基準を満たしており、博士学位を授与するに相応しい水
準に達しているという判断で一致した。

旨 
本論文の公聴会は、2025 年 1 月 28 日（火）15 時 00 分～16 時 30 分、びわこ・くさつ
キャンパスのトリシア 4F 計画系共同研究室において、対面形式で行われた。各審査委
員および公聴会参加者より、方法に関して、銅ストック量の飽和の意味、重要な変数に
ついての感度分析の必要性、各国が持つデータの利用可能性、また、結果と考察に関し
て、二次資源で需要を満たせる可能性、違法あるいは未知の銅フローに対する考え、二
次資源・二次埋蔵量の将来にわたる動的な変化、電化・再生可能エネルギー・人工知能
普及等を背景とした銅需要の変化、研究成果の政策的含意・提案施策の実施方法などの
質問がなされたが、いずれの質問に対しても学位申請者の回答は適切なものであった。

ディープニューラルネットワークは、コンピュータビジョン、自然言語処理、音声認識な
どの分野で目覚ましい成果を上げている。しかし、高い計算量と大量のメモリが必要とされ
るため、スマートフォンや IoT デバイスなど、リソースが制約された環境での実装には依然
として課題が残っている。こうした問題に対する解決策の一つとして、ネットワークプルー
ニングが提案されている。これは、重要度の低いパラメータを削除することでモデルサイズ
を削減する手法であるが、従来のプルーニング手法は高い疎性レベルにおいてレイヤー崩
壊や性能の大幅な低下といった問題に直面することが少なくない。 
本論文では、これらの課題に対処するため、新たに「識別的データ（Discriminative Data, 
DD）」の概念をプルーニング手法に導入した。DD は、プルーニングプロセスをより効果的
に導くための高い情報量を持つ入力サンプルや特徴から構成される。既存のプルーニング
アルゴリズムに DD を組み込むことで、レイヤー崩壊を緩和し、重要なネットワーク構造を
維持することが可能になる。また、これにより、プルーニングアルゴリズムにおけるデータ
依存性の新たな理解をもたらした。 
本論文は、プルーニング時に特定のデータ特性を考慮することでプルーニングの効果を
大幅に向上できることを示すとともに、これまでの「明示的なデータ依存性なしで効果的な
プルーニングが可能である」という仮定に挑戦するものである。 
 
本論文の主な貢献は以下の通りである。 
 DD を組み込んだプルーニングアルゴリズムの開発：既存のプルーニング基準に DD を統
合する新しいアプローチを提案し、極端な疎性でもパラメータ選択を改善し、ネットワ
ーク性能を維持した。 
 レイヤー崩壊の緩和：DD の導入により、我々の手法は効果的にレイヤー崩壊を防ぎ、
深層部の重要なパラメータを保持し、高次の抽象化を捉えることが可能である。 
 データ依存性の理解の刷新：プルーニングアルゴリズムにおけるデータ依存性の役割
に新たな洞察を提供し、情報豊富なデータがプルーニングの有効性をいかに高めるか
を明らかにし、プルーニングメカニズムの理論的理解を進めた。 
 包括的な実験的検証：多様なアーキテクチャとデータセットでの広範な実験により、DD
を用いたプルーニングが従来手法を一貫して上回り、高疎性下でも最先端の性能と安
定性を達成したことを示した。 
 連合学習への拡張：クライアント間で DD を協調的に活用する新しいフレームワーク
「DDPruneFL」を提案し、データの多様性やプライバシーの課題に対処した。データプ
ライバシーを損なうことなくモデル性能を向上させ、実験では効率性とモデルのコン
パクト性に対し、計算オーバーヘッドを最小限に抑えた。 
 
まとめとして、本論文は、プルーニング手法の進化における識別的データ
（Discriminative Data）の重要な役割を強調するとともに、プルーニングアルゴリズムに
おけるデータ依存性の理解を再構築する意義を示した。重要なネットワーク構造を保持し、
リソース制約のある環境でも高い性能を実現することで、本研究で提案した手法は、効率的
なディープラーニングやモデル圧縮の分野において、理論的および実践的に重要な貢献を

Deep Neural Networks have achieved remarkable success in fields such as computer vision, 
natural language processing, and speech recognition. However, their substantial computational and 
memory demands pose challenges for deployment on resource-constrained devices like mobile 
phones and IoT devices. Network pruning, which reduces model size by removing less important 
parameters, offers a solution. Yet, traditional pruning methods often struggle at high sparsity levels, 
leading to issues like layer collapse and significant performance degradation. 
 
This dissertation addresses these challenges by introducing Discriminative Data (DD) into pruning 
methodologies. DD consists of highly informative input samples or features that guide the pruning 
process more effectively. By integrating DD into pruning algorithms like SNIP and GraSP, we not 
only mitigate layer collapse and preserve essential network structures but also refresh the 
understanding of data dependence in pruning algorithms. Our work demonstrates that considering 
specific data characteristics during pruning significantly enhances the effectiveness of pruning 
decisions, challenging the conventional assumption that pruning can be effective without explicit 
data dependence. 
 
The main contributions of this work are: 
 Development of DD-Augmented Pruning Algorithms: We propose a novel approach that 
incorporates DD into existing pruning criteria, improving parameter selection and maintaining 
network performance even at extreme sparsity levels. 
 Mitigation of Layer Collapse: Through DD integration, our methods effectively prevent layer 
collapse, ensuring that critical parameters in deeper layers are retained, which is crucial for 
capturing high-level abstractions. 
 Refreshing the Understanding of Data Dependence: We provide new insights into the role of 
data dependence in pruning algorithms, highlighting how informative data can enhance pruning 
effectiveness and advancing the theoretical understanding of pruning mechanisms. 
 Comprehensive Experimental Validation: Extensive experiments on various architectures and 
datasets demonstrate that DD-augmented pruning consistently outperforms conventional 
methods, achieving state-of-the-art performance and stability under high sparsity. 
 Extension to Federated Learning (FL): We introduce DDPruneFL, a novel framework that 
leverages DD collaboratively across clients in FL settings. This addresses challenges of data 
heterogeneity and privacy, enhancing model performance without compromising data privacy. 
Our experiments confirm minimal computational overhead relative to gains in efficiency and 
compactness. 
 
In summary, this dissertation underscores the pivotal role of Discriminative Data in advancing 
pruning methodologies and reshaping the understanding of data dependence in pruning algorithms. 
By preserving essential network structures and enabling robust performance in resource-constrained 
environments, the proposed approaches offer significant theoretical and practical contributions,

書評 : 秦 正樹 著『陰謀論 民主主義を揺るがすメカニズム』

政治学者である秦正樹は、日本にも様々な種類の陰謀論があり、アメリカのように政治的な暴力事件等に発展す
る可能性があることを指摘する。本書では、現代日本の陰謀論について実証的分析が行われている。具体的には、
陰謀論を「重要な出来事の裏では、一般人には見えない力がうごめいている」と考える思考様式であると定義（p.6）
し、大規模アンケート調査の数々から日本人の「心の中」で陰謀論がどのように受容されているのか、その実態と
メカニズムを考察したものである。
本書の概要
第 1章「陰謀論の定義―検証可能性の視点から」では、陰謀論の定義はさまざまであることが確認され、その
上で秦は本書における陰謀論の定義を先述の通り定める。そして、陰謀論がなぜ社会的問題となるのか、本書にお
ける分析手法についての詳細な説明がなされる。本章で秦は、2001 名の対象者にアンケートで 15 の陰謀論言説につ
いての質問を行い、日本人でも陰謀論的言説を「正しい」もしくは「やや正しい」と回答する人が全体的に見てお
よそ 20 ～ 40％であったことを述べている。
第 2章「陰謀論とソーシャルメディア」では、現代社会において、ソーシャルメディアが根も葉もない情報が受
容される空間を生み出しているのではないかという疑問に迫る。ここで秦が着目するのは、ソーシャルメディアへ
の接触と陰謀論的信念の関係、「SNS悪玉論」の実態である。特に興味深いのは、ツイッター（＝現 X）は陰謀論を
蔓延させる「悪いメディア」との一般認識に反して、ツイッターの利用頻度が高い方が、陰謀論的信念が低くなる
という結果が得られたことだ。また、ウェブサービス上では現に陰謀論が数多く存在し、信じる人を新たに生み出
していることは事実であるが、確率的には稀であることも示唆されている。
次に、第 3章「『保守』の陰謀論―『普通の日本人』というレトリック」では、“ 普通 ” の政治的意見を持って
いると自認する人々が取り上げられ、彼らの陰謀論受容の程度やメカニズムが検証される。本章で特徴的なのは、ネッ
ト右翼や、ネット右翼予備軍のような存在を指す「オンライン排外主義者」の一部に、自らの政治的意見こそが「普
通」と考える傾向があるとする従来の知見に基づいて論を進めるのではなく、秦は日本の世論全体にも同じ傾向が
あることを見出し、「普通自認層」と「非普通自認層」で比較を行っているところである。日本に住む 1505 名の人々
に行ったウェブ調査における政治に関する質問では、半数近くの人が「自分の政治的意見は普通だ」と考えている
ことが明らかになったのである。結果として、「非普通自認層」よりも「普通自認層」の方がネット右翼やオンライ
ン排外主義者と親和的な態度を持っていること、インターネット上の陰謀論的言説を受容していることが示される。
第 4章「『リベラル』の陰謀論―政治的少数派がもたらす誤認識」では、一般に注目されづらい左派・リベラル
派と陰謀論の関係が問われる。イデオロギー的に左派・リベラル派という特徴を有する日本の野党支持者に言及し、
彼らが長い間、選挙で敗北を経験していることに触れる。そして、そのことが選挙制度そのものへの不信感にもつ
ながること、政府批判をめぐる陰謀論的な言説を引き寄せることを指摘する。

つづいて、第 5章「『政治に詳しい人』と陰謀論―『政治をよく知ること』は防波堤となるのか？」で問題とさ
れるのは、政治のことをどの程度よく理解しているのかを表す「政治的洗練性」が高い方が陰謀論を受容しないと
いう定説とは反対の見解が、前章までで示されていることである。秦は政治的洗練性の測定に多種多様な方法が提
案されていることを踏まえた上で、政治に関するトピックだけでなく質的に異なるさまざまな対象に向ける「関心」
すなわち「どの程度注意を払っているか」を示すものの度合いと、正確な政治的知識の多寡という指標から、この
ズレを検討した。そこで、政治的関心や時事的関心の高い人ほど、陰謀論をより受容しやすい傾向にあること、日
常生活に関係するプライベートなことへの関心が高い人は、陰謀論を受容しづらいことを明らかにした。また、ア
ンケート調査によって政治的知識が中程度以上ある人は真偽が定かでない言説を信じる傾向にあるという実態も浮
き彫りにされた。本章でなされる指摘は、「過度に」政治への関心を持つことは陰謀論を信じやすくさせるというこ
とである。
終章「民主主義は『陰謀論』に耐えられるのか？」では、本書全体の問題意識として、誰が、どんな理由で陰謀
論を信じているのかという具体的な実態がほとんど明らかにされず、憶測で決めつける行為が散見されたことが改
めて述べられる。また、各章の内容を振り返り、秦は、「誰もが」、「自分のモノの見方を支えてくれているから」（p.217）
陰謀論を信じ得るのだと総括する。加えて、「陰謀論から逃れる術」についても議論されるが、具体的な策は示され
ないまま、「自分の中の正しさを過剰に求めすぎない」（p.231）で、「バランス感覚を持とう」（p.219）という抽象的
な提案がなされる。政治的な関心や知識を高めることでかえって、陰謀論を引き寄せてしまうことがなによりも懸
念されるためである。
本書の意義・批評
上記でも述べた通り本書は、これまで漠然とした印象に基づいて語られるに過ぎなかった日本社会における陰謀
論の実態を統計的に分析することで、特に以下の点において優れた貢献をしたと考える。なによりも、大規模な調
査を通じて陰謀論にかんする数々の定説を覆す結果を提示した点である。「ツイッターの利用頻度が高いことと、む
しろ陰謀論的信念の低さには関連がある」（p.64）、政治の諸制度に対し、リベラル派が懐疑的な傾向を持つことで、
健全な民主主義の維持・発展を阻害しかねない（p.163）、「政治的洗練性の高い人のほうが、陰謀論を信じやすい可
能性」（p.170）があるという知見は、人々と各種メディア、政治との関係性の捉え直しを可能にするものでもある。
ただ、ツイッターや、人々の政治的関心の度合いに重点が置かれ、検証する対象が限定的であったため、たとえば、
動画配信サイトへの接触頻度、歴史的関心の有無、人間関係の良し悪しと陰謀論受容の関係というように、視点を
拡大した陰謀論受容のメカニズムの検証も期待したい。
他方、本書を読み進める中で、生じる疑問もあった。ここでは、3点を記述していく。第一に、本書で用いられる
陰謀論言説の妥当性である。秦自身、陰謀論と正当な批判の区別が難しいことや、陰謀論は検証が困難であること
を念頭に置くが、例として用いる言説が陰謀論と言える理由にはまったく触れていない。そもそもある仮説が検証
不可能な場合、即座に「陰謀論」と見なすのは、秦も問題視する「決めつけ」の行為に当たるのではないだろうか。
言説の正当性がどの程度なのかを一切検討しないまま本書のテーマを分析することで、陰謀論の受容度を過度に評
価している可能性を考慮すべきである。第二に、「政治的関心や知識の高い人ほど陰謀論を受容しやすい」という主
張である。本書の成果の 1つは、これを実証的に示したことになるが、一般化すれば「様々な情報に触れる機会が
多いほど、誤った情報を受け入れる機会も増える」ということであり、このことは SNSの普及によってもたらされ
るものとして、すでに言われている（東洋大学 2021）。日本の陰謀論の実態と受容メカニズムの解明という目的を果
たそうとするならば、特定の陰謀論を多くの人が正しいと判断し、信じてしまう過程も実証的に示す必要があるの
ではないか。言説によって、人々の受容度が異なるというデータがあったことからも、プロセスへの言及がほとん
どないことは誠実さに欠けるといえよう。そして最後に、終章で示される陰謀論から逃れるための処方箋について
である。本書では高い政治的関心を危険視し、「何事もほどほどに」（p.231）とされるが、特に日本では諸外国に比べ、
政治的関心がおしなべて低い傾向にあることに鑑みると、この記述は無責任に響く。陰謀論が民主主義を揺るがす
ことへの危惧は頷けるが、そのことによって、政治的関心を「ほどほどに」抑えてしまっては、真っ当な政治的判

断が困難となり得るため、最善の処方とは言えないであろう。しかしながら、それに代わる処方箋として安易に情
報リテラシーを高める必要性を言うこともできない。真偽判断が難しい情報が氾濫している昨今、単に個人のリテ
ラシーを高めるべきだと主張するだけでは意味がないからである。陰謀論から逃れるための最善の処方を編み出す
ためにも陰謀論受容に至るメカニズムのより細かなプロセスや条件を検討する必要があるのではないか。「SNSへ
の接触が陰謀論の受容を促進するわけではない」、「政治的関心が高いことが陰謀論を受容しやすくする」というの
は 1つの傾向に過ぎず、SNSが契機となり陰謀論の受容に至る例や、政治的関心は高いが陰謀論に接触しても受容
に至らない例もあり得る。このような個々の事例分析も追加することで陰謀論の受容にかかる条件や、逃れるため
の処方が明瞭になるだろう。
とは言え、陰謀論が受け入れられ、広まるメカニズムがデータをもって説得的に描かれていることは確かであり、
不確実な情報に溢れたこの時代において価値ある一冊となっている。現代を生きる多くの人に参照を勧めたい。
