    Abstract - In 2020, Indonesia's population is dominated by Gen Z (born 1997-2012) and Millennials (born 1981-1996). ). Gen Z accounts for 27.94% of the total population and millennials reach 25.87%. Most of these two generations are in the working-age group, which could be an opportunity to accelerate economic growth. The government needs to encourage generations z and millennials to become entrepreneurs. The government calls on millennials to start a business. Technology development allows people to become entrepreneurs and self-employed. Changes in the usage of this technology will affect the human resource management of the. The gig economy enhances the flexibility and ability to hire skilled professionals from different parts of the world across time zones and geographic boundaries. These dynamics present us with new challenges. Gig worker represents the balance between immediate working life and the need to increase income. Today's workers want flexibility in their work. The research method used is qualitative to primary data and secondary data. In addition, the data source was explained qualitatively. The survey results were performed by UBSI Jakarta Z- and 130 student respondents. Of the respondent has knowledge of entrepreneurship 60.8% and 39.2% of respondents can not understand. The type of work of GIG economy and generation z Gig era was awarded 47.7% itself, and then the work in society was determined by 28.4% freelancer. Reasons for choosing a job type show that 40% receive unlimited income, 25.4% are flexible, 26.2% of respondents are rewarded according to their job, and 8.5% choose a job

    THE INFLUENCE OF REAL INTEREST RATES, INFLATION, EXCHANGE RATE, AND GDP ON STOCK RETURN IN THE PROPERTY SECTOR

    Stocks are one of the investment products in financial markets that need to be understood in terms of risk and return, where changes in stock returns can be influenced by external and internal factors. This study aims to determine the significant effect of real interest rates, inflation, exchange rates, and gross domestic product on property sector stock returns on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2012-2019 period. This period shows a fluctuating property market cycle due to changes in external factors, namely the economy and politics in Indonesia. Public companies in the property and real estate sector are listed on the IDX, with a total of 67 companies selected with certain criteria; 26 companies were selected. Secondary data obtained from the World Bank and Bank Indonesia were tested using panel data regression. The test results show that real interest rates, inflation, and exchange rates have a significant effect on stock returns, but the gross domestic product has no significant effect. This research proves the importance of the government's role in maintaining the economic and political stability of a country so that investors are interested in investing in the stock market. Contributions from the property and real estate sector in driving the economy from upstream to downstream also need government support regarding regulations and taxation

    CV Duta Barito Banjarmasin is a company that was initially engaged in selling raw rattan products and now sells finished products. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline on employee performance at CV Duta Barito Banjarmasin. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative, where the sample in this study are employees in the production section, totaling 30 people. Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques used were through questionnaires, observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis method was carried out on the results of the questionnaire answers using the SPSS for Windows version 23 program. The results of the study were from the work discipline variable that affected employee work performance, where discipline was evidence of a sense of responsibility for the tasks assigned to him, so that it would also have a positive impact. against the company. Where from the calculation shows that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a significant value of 0.000 and less than 0.05, which means that work discipline increases, employee performance will also increase with an influence value of 60.5%

    The Effect of Role Playing Type of Cooperative Model on the Indonesian Learning Outcomes of Elementary Students

    This study aims to determine the effect of the role playing type of cooperative model on student learning outcomes in the Indonesian language learning process. This study used experimental research design. Subject of this study are student in fourth grades at Kemantren 1 Elementary School. The researches variables consist of independent variable that is role playing models and lecture methods. Independent variable is the result of learning Indonesian. Students in fourth A grade as an experimental class and Fourth B grade as a control class. The instrument used in this study is the result of learning process. Data analysis techniques for cognitive domain using several steps. They are descriptive analysis, prerequisite test of normality and homogeneity, and hypothesis testing using t-test. The results showed that the role playing model influenced the learning outcomes of Indonesian language in fourth grade students at Kemantren 1 Elementary School. The average Indonesian learning in control class with the lecture method was 67,78 while the Indonesian learning outcomes in  experimental class with role playing models was 74,07. Process data analysis of two groups using t-test results obtained t value of 2.896 > t table of 2.006. That is show that there are some influences in learning role playing models toward the result of Indonesian language study

    Teaching English Pronunciation Using Tongue Twister

    This study was aim to know how tongue twister can enhance students’ pronunciation ability at the first semester English Education Study Program STKIP Muhammadiyah Batang in academic year 2021/2022. This study conducted at the first semester of English Education study program that consist of 35 students as sample. This is a quantitative research. The researcher uses pre-experimental design using “one-group pretest-posttest design. The researcher uses pre-test and post-test to collect the data. Based on the calculation, the result of t-value is 3.965. In addition, the result on the mean score of post-test is higher than the mean score of pre-test (70.71>64.28). Then, the researcher consults the critical value to the t-table using the 5% (0.05) alpha level significance and the degree of freedom is 1.67. It shows that the t-value is higher than t-table (3.965>1.67). It means that Tongue Twister is effective to enhance students’ pronunciation ability for the first semester students of English Education Study Program STKIP Muhammadiyah Batang. The use of tongue twister make student more active and their pronunciation ability was improved

    Do Preservice Teachers’ Pedagogical Competence and English Skills Correlate to Their Willingness to be Teachers?

    English teacher is one of the main factors to students to master English. Their competencies will lead them into professional teachers.  Aiming to know the correlation between pedagogical and English skills of the pre-service teacher to their willingness to be teachers, this research uses an explanatory correlation design. Documents of pedagogical competence and English skills score and questionnaire are the instruments of the research. The result of the analysis shows that there is a significant correlation between pre-service pedagogical competence and their willingness to be teachers. Meanwhile, there is no correlation between pre-service English skills and their willingness to be. Then, there is no correlation between pre-service pedagogical competence and English skill together with their willingness to be teachers. However, from the findings, it can be concluded that pre-service teachers’ pedagogical competence affects their willingness to be teachers, that pre-service teacher is suggested to master teacher competencies to increase their willingness to be teacher especially pedagogical competence

    A Content Analysis of Integrated Learning Skills & Assessment in The Textbook Entitled “Grow with English” For the Sixth Grade of Elementary School

    Textbook helps the teachers to prepare the lessons. It is also course book used by teachers and students in order to facilitate the teaching – learning process. In terms of its role in learning, it is crucial in teaching and learning process. Related to textbooks, there should be covered by all learning skills and assessment in order to help the students to improve their ability in learning English. This research is aimed (1) to analyze all four learning skills in the textbook, (2) to find out the way four learning skills are implemented, (3) to investigate whether the textbook provides the assessment for students or not in the textbook Entitled “Grow with English” for The Sixth Grade of Elementary School. This research is included as qualitative research design. The sample of this research is an English textbook entitled “Grow with English”. The researcher uses the checklist as the instrument. In collecting and analyzing the data, the researcher does several steps. After that, the data would be calculated by using a formula. The results show that the textbook provided all learning skills differently. For the assessment, it was found that the textbook provided assessment every three chapters. In conclusion, the authors of English textbooks should implement all learning skills every chapter and the assessment at the end of every chapter in the textbook

    THE INFLUENCE OF FINANCIAL LITERACY AND SPENDING BEHAVIOR ON YOUNG ADULT EMERGENCY FUND OWNERSHIP IN SURABAYA

    The Covid-19 incident reminds us that having an emergency fund is a crucial allocation outcome for someone in the face of unexpected conditions. The fact is that from various surveys conducted, most Indonesians admit that they do not have adequate emergency funds. This research was conducted to see how financial literacy and spending behavior influence the ownership of emergency funds in young adults in Surabaya. Young adults were chosen in this study because, based on previous studies, in this age range, a person begins to move into a condition of being economically independent and should already be doing financial planning. Data were obtained through questionnaires and processed using logistic regression. The results of the study show that both financial literacy and spending behavior have a significant effect on emergency fund ownership among young adults in Surabaya. This research contributes to the personal finance literature by providing an overview of emergency fund ownership. For young adults, this research can provide insight into the meaning of financial literacy and spending behavior and how these variables can affect one's emergency fund

    DETERMINANTS OF PURCHASE DECISIONS JANJI JIWA COFFEE BALIKPAPAN WITH CONSUMER TRUST AS THE INTERVENING VARIABLE

    This study aims to know and explain the factors that influence the variable purchasing decisions namely brand image and to see the influence of consumer confidence variables as intervening variables directly and indirectly to the purchase decision of Kopi Janji Jiwa Balikpapan jilid 630. Population in this study is consumers of Kopi Janji Jiwa Balikpapan Jilid 630 who bought in March 2021, which amounted to 9,305 customers and sampled as many as 100 people because of the large number of populations using slovin formula. The method of data collection uses questionnaires that are shared directly with respondents. Data analysis used is path analysis and sobel test as well as classic assumption test and for data processing using SPSS version 25, the data analysis method was carried out with multiple linear regression models and hypothesis testing use part analysis. The results showed that: 1. variable brand image to purchasing decisions have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. 2. variable brand image to consumer confidence has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. 3. Variable consumer confidence in purchasing decisions has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. 4. the influence of brand image variables on purchasing decisions through consumer confidence variables as intervening variables has a positive and significant influence. The influence of brand image on purchasing decisions indirectly is greater in value compared to the direct influence which can be said to have a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions

    Adolescent sexual behavior is a sexual activity carried out by adolescents with their partners to fulfill their desires, but this problem is considered common to society so that this case is increasing every year. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the use of Twitter social media and adolescent sexual behavior during the pandemic at SMPN 7 Samarinda. The method in this study used a cross-sectional design with a total of 97 respondents in classes VII and VIII. The research instrument used a questionnaire in the form of Google Fromulir. The result of this study is that there is no relationship between the use of social media Twitter with adolescent sexual behavior during the pandemic at SMPN 7 Samarinda. Twitter presents trending topics that are positive so that many teenagers access it, which can have a positive impact on adolescent behavior.
