Get PDFStudies on the effect of oscillating magnetic field (OSMF) have shown that this field can be used as an alternative therapy to malaria. Still, its impact on the heart parameters is yet to be ascertained. The influence of OSMF was investigated on Heart triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein, and total cholesterol of three weeks old Plasmodium falciparum-infected Wistar rats. Sixty-two Wistar rats were obtained, out of which Forty-nine were infected with plasmodium falciparum, equally divided into seven experimental groups (A, B, C, D, E, G & H) containing seven rats each.
