Thermoregulation of Risers As A Means of Qualitative Regulation of Heat Transfer in the Heating System
The standards that have recently appeared that establish the energy efficiency classes of buildings depending on the level of their heat consumption pose a similar task for individual elements of building engineering systems. The essence of this task is to select the most energy efficient equipment or technical solution for each of the system elements
Implementation of The Analytic Network Process (ANP) In Evaluating The Performance of Teachers and Employees In Educational Institutions
In the world of education, teachers have an important and strategic role. Teacher performance affects the improvement of the quality of education in an educational institution. The quality of education provided by teachers determines the future of an institution in achieving educational goals. Therefore, a holistic and sustainable evaluation is needed in an educational institution to maintain and encourage the quality of work of teachers and employees. The purpose of this study is to describe implementing the Analytics Network Process (ANP) method in evaluating teacher and employee performance to obtain priority of a problem and find solutions that can be taken. The research method used is qualitative research with the type of Analysis Network Process (ANP). The results showed the priority of the problem faced, namely the lack of mastery of information technology and government policies. The priority solution that can be applied in evaluating teacher and employee performance is to upgrade the system for teachers and employees and optimize certification programs
Implementation of Electoral System in Indonesia: Open Proportional and Closed Proportional Systems Discourse
Elections are an essential momentum for people to make choices for their people's representatives. The law has explained the function of elections, namely the election of members of the DPR, Provincial DPRD, and Regency / City DPRD. Democracy requires the involvement of the people in every administration carried out by the state. The people are positioned as important actors in the democratic order because Democracy is essentially based on the logic of equality and the idea that the government needs the consent of the people. On the other hand, there are several differences in perspectives on how the ruling elites understand and interpret the open proportional system and the closed proportional system and what system is appropriate and feasible to apply to the 2024 election. This research explains how the impact of implementing the electoral system used, with the discourse being discussed at the level of the political elite in Indonesia
Economical Development Affected by Climatic Changes
The Fourth National Climate Assessment, published in 2018, warned that if we do not curb greenhouse gas emissions and start to adapt, climate change could seriously disrupt the U.S. economy. Warmer temperatures, sea level rise and extreme weather will damage property and critical infrastructure, impact human health and productivity, and negatively affect sectors such as agriculture, forestry, fisheries and tourism. The demand for energy will increase as power generation becomes less reliable, and water supplies will be stressed. Damage to other countries around the globe will also affect U.S. business through disruption in trade and supply chains. A recent report examined how climate change could affect 22 different sectors of the economy under two different scenarios: if global temperatures rose 2.8˚ C from pre-industrial levels by 2100, and if they increased by 4.5˚ C. The study projected that if the higher-temperature scenario prevails, climate change impacts on these 22 sectors could cost the U.S. 224 billion less. In any case, the U.S. stands to suffer large economic losses due to climate change, second only to India, according to another study
Fishery Products and Technology in the New Normal Era
This research aims to determine the technical efficiency of handline fishing gear and allocative efficiency (price) of handline fishing gear as well as the economic efficiency of handline fishing gear in the new normal era in Kayubulan Village, Batudaa Pantai District, Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province. This research was conducted in October-November 2018. This research used the method quantitative descriptive by using data analysis DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) to measure technical efficiency and CBA (Cost Benefit Analysis) to measure allocative efficiency (price) and economic efficiency analysis is the result of technical efficiency and allocative efficiency (price).Analyze technical efficiency using DEAP softwareversion 2.1. The results of the study show that technical efficiency (ET) is known that the average value of technical efficiency obtained is0.788or <1, meaning that the fishing effort of handline fishermen is still not technically efficient. The average allocative efficiency/price (EH) obtained is3,881or > 1, so the fishing effort with handline fishing gear is allocatively efficient. The average economic efficiency obtained is3,091or>1, so the average fishing effort with this handline fishing gear is economically efficient
