Optimization of the Alumni Site of SMK Muhammadiyah Sintang
Full text linkAlumni have an important role in the development of educational institutions in the public sphere, but regarding alumni, many schools have not used alumni in school contributions, one of which is SMK Muhammadiyah Sintang. Regarding information, SMK Muhammadiyah alumni have not implemented an online alumni data collection and management system. So far, data collection on alumni is still carried out by recording in written documents which results in data management that cannot be done quickly, and errors often occur, and it is difficult to update information about alumni. In conducting research, the authors use existing literature and literature study materials to build alumni websites using the WSDM (Website Development Design Method) research method, website development methods using Extreme Programming (XP), and the development of alumni information systems using a bootstrap framework, providing designs responsive web that gives the appearance of the website will automatically adjust the screen size of the browser used. Woman and Cyberbullying
Full text linkThe seminar titled ‘Woman and Cyberbullying’ as part of Social Community Services has been conducted in Vocational School Number Five (SMKN 5) Pontianak, West Kalimantan. This aimed at raising awareness yet broadening the horizons of high school students about cyberbullying, the drawbacks, and the consequences. The focus of this seminar is on adolescents who not only are vulnerable to cyberbullying but also potentially to be the perpetrators. A comprehensive understanding regarding various kinds of intimidations is expected to develop healthy mental awareness of adolescents. An intense persuasive approach to teenagers -particularly high school students- is needed, so that, they can consciously recognize various types of cyberbullying and be able to prevent and to deal with them necessarily, then become physically and mentally confident mothers in the future. The assessment of students’ understanding of 33 participants about cyberbullying using questionnaires showed an escalation, where students can understand they can be the victims as well as the perpetrators. They obtained oral statements in class to refrain from unnecessary comments and set a wiser social behavior to prevent cyberbullying incidents
Statistical Distribution As Predictive Tool
Full text linkStatistics is an important aspect in data presentation and usage. This community engagement activity was held with the cooperation of SMA Negeri IV and STMIK Pontianak. The purpose of the activity was to enrich students in basic statistics understanding, usage of normal distribution for prediction, and implementation of normal distribution in daily setting. The community engagement activity was held with seminar and discussion method. Software utilised are Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point with hardwares such as LCD projector, whiteboard, and loudspeaker. The seminar are participated by 34 students from xi grade. The result of the seminar was as expected, with participants understood the statistic tools usage and was able to implement normal distribution for prediction purpose
Implementation of an Online Shoe Store Website to Improve the Shoe Sales Process
Full text linkThe purpose of this community development is to design a sales website that can be used as a place for product management in the form of store and product information in stores that can be accessed through the store website, product purchase transactions and can facilitate the store in the process of purchasing products at the store. The form of research used is a case study with the Design Science Research method. HTML and PHP programming language with MySQL database in phpMyAdmin and using Laravel Framework with Model View Controller concept. Coding editing application used by Visual Studio Code, with XAMPP as the local server. The modeling software used is Unifield Modeling Language (UML). The software design method used is the Extreme Programming method. Testing is carried out using the Black-Box Testing method, the Equivalence partitioning technique is carried out in stages starting from unit testing, integration testing,system testing and acceptance testing. This research produces a Sales Website that functions to manage the service process to consumers in the form of store information and store products
New Student Online Registration Site Usage Training

What's more, there is the convenience and efficiency that is obtained when registering online. The problem of time, distance and place is no longer an obstacle in registering on time. Therefore, this service aims to provide an understanding of the online admissions information system at SMA Negeri 1 Sejangkung. This community service workshop was attended by 20 people consisting of teachers and students from SMA Negeri 1 Sejangkung. This training workshop was carried out using a system demonstration method, lectures, discussions with participants and questions and answers. This training workshop provides information to teachers and students at SMA Negeri 1 Sejangkung about the importance of an online registration system to facilitate the student registration process, which no longer has to be face-to-face or come directly to school
Artificial Intelligence as Solution in Facing the Age of Digital Disruption 4.0

The community service workshop was attended by 66 participants, namely students, teachers, and structural officials of SMK Negeri 2 Singkawang. The workshop was held using demonstration methods, lectures, discussions and question and answer. This workshop provides information to teachers and students about the importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the digital transformation process. For teachers and students at SMKN 2 Singkawang it was introduced that algorithms or artificial intelligence methods could be given simply by representing problems into simple solutions with several examples of implementing artificial intelligence using Microsoft Excel and utilizing VBA macros

The data used in this study is to look directly at the employers and workers who manufacture bricks and look at the various existing literature related to the title that the author studied. The author is interested in researching this stone-making business because to find out how the sales or marketing system for making bricks. From the results of the research conducted by the author, the sales or marketing system for making bricks in Pasar VI village is still done in a simple way, and there is no application. Based on the problems that researchers have observed, an online web-based application is needed so that brick producers can market bricks quickly and earn better profits. As Kampung Dalam Health Center serves many patients seeking treatment every day, the patient queue can become very crowded, which prompted the author to take an interest in creating her website-based software. I'm here. This study aims to design a website-based software as a vehicle for online public health services in the Kampong Dalam Community Health Center. The form of research in this community development is a case study by a research method based on the design research method. Various data collection techniques such as observations, interviews, and documentation are performed with the goal of identifying problems with the object and finding out how the website system is designed. In this study, researchers used the CodeIgniter framework by implementing functionality provided by the Bootstrap framework and MySQL as a database. Now, community development is creating website-based software to make it easier for the public to register for medical services online and for Puskesmas to easily manage patient data for treatment
The Pictures in Enhancing Students English Learning

And it is as the most difficult skill to be executed which comes across by the students of the Vocational School of SMKN 4 Pontianak. The writing obstacles such as they do not know what should be written, what topics to be described, limited vocabularies, incorrectly grammar, and the coherency. Educators are desired to lend a hand the students with their learning complication, especially their writing skill. The Picture-Cued Technique is the practice to be carried out to the workshop of Community Engagement at the Vocational School of SMKN 4, which located on Komodor Yos Soedarso Street, Pontianak, Kalimantan Barat. The aim of this community engagement workshop to familiarize and to assist the learners of the Vocational School of SMKN 4 Pontianak with the procedure of the Picture-Cued Technique to facilitate their writing hindrances. The students of the Vocational School of SMKN 4, eleventh grade, consisted of 32 students who become the participants in this community engagement study. The outcome of this community engagement is students are familiarized to the Picture-Cued Practice then assist them in overcoming writing hindrances in learning writing competence
