No full textIntroducción. Hoy en día las tecnologías de la información (TIC) y han mejorado los procesos de la organización y de las empresas. En este sentido, las negociaciones comerciales internacionales se pueden optimizar con todas estas herramientas que permiten que las pequeñas, medianas y grandes empresas puedan aumentar también su dominio y el rendimiento en este tipo de operaciones. Por lo tanto, de acuerdo con la idea anterior, en este artículo se analiza el nivel de apropiación de estas tecnologías, además de algunas correlaciones entre las variables asociadas con el uso de las TIC en la Alianza del Pacífico. Objetivo. Este artículo tiene como objetivo identificar la relación entre la apropiación de las TIC y el rendimiento de las negociaciones comerciales internacionales en este bloque comercial. Materiales y métodos. Para ello, se propone un modelo de relación entre la apropiación de las TIC y el rendimiento de las negociaciones comerciales internacionales, validando con un estudio realizado en 384 empresas de Chile, Colombia, México y Perú; todo ello entre las empresas que llevan a cabo procesos de importación y/o exportación. Resultados. La evidencia muestra un dominio importante y la mejora en el rendimiento de la negociación internacional en las empresas de esta región. Conclusión. Por lo tanto, esta investigación demuestra que el aumento de la frecuencia de entrenamiento en el uso de las TIC promueve el dominio de estas tecnologías, y mejora el rendimiento del proceso de negociación internacional. © 2018, Corporacion Universitaria Lasallista.Introdução. A este respeito, as negociações comerciais internacionais pode ser otimizado com todas essas ferramentas que permitem que pequenas médias e grandes empresas possam também aumentar o seu domínio e desempenho em tais operações. Portanto, de acordo com a ideia acima, neste artigo o nível de apropriação dessas tecnologias é analisado, bem como algumas correlações entre as variáveis associadas com o uso das TIC na Aliança do Pacífico. Objetivos: Este artigo tem como objetivo identificar a relação entre apropriação e realização de negociações comerciais internacionais neste bloco comercial TIC. Metodologia: Para fazer isso, um modelo de relação entre a apropriação das TIC e desempenho das negociações comerciais internacionais, validando um estudo de 384 empresas em Chile, Colômbia, México e Peru é proposta; todos entre empresas que realizam processos de importação e / ou exportação. A relationship model between appropriation of ICT and performance of international business negotiations is proposed, validating it with a study conducted with 384 companies from Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru that carry out import and/or export processes. Findings. The evidence indicates an important proficiency and international negotiation performance improvement within the enterprises in this region. Conclusion. ICT for the promotion of international business academic programs
No full textThis article aims to identify the level of use and the benefits offered by information and communication technologies (ICT) for the international business academic programs in the universities. For this purpose, a perception study in 14 universities of Antioquia, Colombia is carried out. Based on the results, it is concluded that websites and social networks such as Facebook and Twitter are the ICT with the highest level of use and development, and they allow the promotion and positioning of the academic programs, facilitate the learning process and communication with stakeholders, and offer job opportunities to students and graduates. © 2019, Universidad del Zulia. What Motivates VSEs to Adopt an International Standard Such as ISO/IEC 29110? An Exploratory Analysis
No full textVery Small Entities (VSEs) of México are important to the economy because of their contribution to the growing demand of software. The ISO/IEC 29110 series has become a highly adopted standard in México because it is one of the Quality Standards recognized by the government, the industry and academia. This is confirmed by the increasing number of VSEs certified to this standard since 2013. Over 46 of the 53 VSEs certified in Latin America are from México. The objective of this research was to perform an exploratory analysis of the factors that motivate and affect the motivation of VSEs in the implementation of this standard. To perform this research, a case study was conducted and a questionnaire to collect data was developed. The sample of our research is a set of 15 VSEs that have adopted the software Basic profile of ISO/IEC 29110 to improve their software development process. This research provides the factors that motivates positively and negatively the adoption of the ISO/IEC 29110 standard by VSEs. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG

Full text linkEl feminicidio, es un fenómeno que a lo largo de la historia viene aquejando la vida de las mujeres, pero es en nuestro tiempo que la sociedad, la cultura, la justicia y las distintas organizaciones internacionales vienen analizando cuales son las causas y los efectos que tienen los victimarios para acabar con la vida de las mujeres, y en especial, que factores tienen en común y de diferenciador con otra modalidad de crímenes que se tienen dentro del sistema judicial nacional e internacional, los cuales se castigan con la condena a prisión de quien lo ejecuta. De igual forma, el sentido de estudiar el feminicidio, no es solo el de tratar explicaciones, comprensiones y traducciones a un fenómeno que inquieta al derecho, las ciencias sociales, la vida cotidiana o a la condición humana en general, sino que radica, en hacer valer el derecho a la vida, al desarrollo de la libre personalidad, la libertad de expresión y todos los demás derechos que tiene la mujer como cualquier otro ciudadano de una ciudad, un país, una localidad o un grupo humano específico. En la siguiente investigación, se pondrá a prueba las percepciones propias, las de los teóricos y las presentan el sistema judicial colombiano con la finalidad de analizar, confrontar, discutir y concertar a través de elementos comunes y diferenciadores, no solo una serie de causas y efectos del fenómeno, sino que se desea es ahondar en su transformación histórica, social, cultural, política e ideológica a nivel conceptual para ver como desde otras perspectivas el feminicidio se ha entrado de manera simbólica.Magíster en Derecho PenalMaestrí
Análisis de los impactos sociales de las pequeñas centrales hidroeléctricas (PCH) en las comunidades del oriente antioqueño: caso PCH el popal, municipio de Cocorná
Full text linkEl presente trabajo de grado tiene como objetivo elaborar una propuesta de diagnóstico que permita identificar los impactos sociales generados por la Pequeña Central Hidroeléctrica El Popal en las comunidades del área de influencia del municipio de Cocorná, Antioquia. Con esto se busca contribuir a determinar los problemas de este tipo de proyectos y así aportar a su mejoramiento para beneficio de todos los actores implicados, en especial, la comunidad que habita en el área de influencia. Para la realización de este trabajo de grado se partió de un estudio documental sobre la evaluación de los impactos sociales generados por proyectos de generación de energía desde el ámbito mundial al local; luego se realizó una selección de los impactos sociales a evaluar con las comunidades del área de influencia de la PCH El Popal, con base en el estudio documental. Por último, se construyó una entrevista semiestructurada a partir de los impactos sociales seleccionados, que se aplicaría con los actores involucrados en la PCH El Popal del municipio de Cocorná, Antioquia. La importancia y la motivación para realizar este trabajo de grado es profundizar en el conocimiento de los impactos sociales generados por la PCH El Popal, dado que la generación de energía eléctrica cada vez es más dependiente de este tipo de sistemas. Sin embargo, y de acuerdo a investigaciones anteriores de Agudelo (2018) o Coconsciente (2017), la comunidad de Cocorná está insatisfecha con que el desarrollo que traen estos proyectos en unos campos vaya en detrimento de su vida social, laboral y familiar. En este sentido, este tipo de propuestas de diagnóstico pueden aportar a los diferentes actores en la toma de mejores decisiones. Como conclusiones del proyecto, se resalta la necesidad de darle continuidad a este tipo de iniciativas que aportan elementos para que los tomadores de decisiones revisen la posibilidad de reforzar la normativa existente, que den mayores garantías a la comunidad del área de influencia de los proyectos hidroeléctricos, que, como se describe en el estado del arte, y de acuerdo a las investigaciones consultadas, es la más afectada en lo social, económico, cultural y ambiental. Se destaca que las comunidades son un factor clave en el desarrollo de los proyectos hidroeléctricos, y por eso son actores claves en los procesos previos y en el desarrollo de este tipo de iniciativas.The objective of the present degree work is to elaborate a diagnostic proposal that allows to identify the social impacts generated by the Small Hydroelectric Power Plant El Popal in the communities of the area of influence of the municipality of Cocorná, Antioquia. This seeks to help determine the problems of this type of project and thus contribute to their improvement for the benefit of all the actors involved, especially the community that lives in the area of influence. To carry out this degree work, a documentary study was started on the evaluation of the social impacts generated by energy generation projects from the global to the local level; Then a selection was made of the social impacts to be evaluated with the communities in the area of influence of the PCH El Popal, based on the documentary study. Finally, a semi-structured interview was constructed based on the selected social impacts, which would be applied with the actors involved in the PCH El Popal in the municipality of Cocorná, Antioquia. The importance and motivation to carry out this degree work is to deepen the knowledge of the social impacts generated by the El Popal PCH, given that the generation of electricity is increasingly dependent on this type of systems. However, and according to previous research by Agudelo (2018) or Coconsciente (2017), the Cocorná community is dissatisfied that the development that these projects bring in some fields is detrimental to their social, work and family life. In this sense, these types of diagnostic proposals can contribute to the different actors in making better decisions. As conclusions of the project, the need to give continuity to this type of initiatives is highlighted, which provide elements for decision-makers to review the possibility of reinforcing the existing regulations, which give greater guarantees to the community in the area of influence of hydroelectric projects, which, as described in the state of the art, and according to the researches consulted, is the most affected socially, economically, culturally and environmentally. A confirmatory analysis of the individual entrepreneurial orientation scale [Un anÁlisis confirmatorio de la escala individual entrepreneurial orientation]
No full textIn this article the Individual Entrepreneurial Orientation scale was adapted. This scale has not been validated in any other language, so the aim was to analyze the psychometric properties of the Spanish version. After exploratory factor analysis, the first sample confirmed a unifactorial 10-item solution. Results of confirmatory factor analysis in a second sample were rmsea = .05, cfi = .95, and tli = .95, replicating the exploratory results while maintaining the same number of items. The resulting dimension showed good reliability (.73 and .80). Subsequently, the scale scores related to several external correlates and other scales, exhibiting good convergence and criterion validity. These indicate that the scale is a reliable and valid instrument, and its Spanish adaptation is suitable. © 2020 Sociedad Mexicana de Psicologia. All rights reserved
Cellular concrete review: New trends for application in construction
No full textIn the last years the use of cellular concretes has been extended, due to the rise in the ratio strength/weight reached, as well as the development of new cementitious raw materials, foaming agents and fillers for specific applications of cellular concrete. However, the knowhow of this form of lightweight concrete is still under construction. This article presents a complete review with the main aspects that influence the application of cellular concrete: raw materials, production methods and expected properties based on density. The aim of this review is to show how the use of new and alternative raw materials for cellular concrete could permit modifications on the physical and mechanical properties for construction applications. The difficulties found in the industrial production of foamed concrete in processes like mixing, transporting and pumping needs to be solved for enhancing the potential of foamed concrete as a structural construction material. © 2018 Elsevier Lt
Social innovation: Evolution of the concept over time [Innovación social: Evolución del concepto en el tiempo]
No full textThis article aims to characterize innovation based on the evolution it has had over time, and emphasizing the measurement criteria used between 2016 and 2018. In the first instance, elements are needed to understand the phenomenon and its different meanings, and then carry out a comparative review between sources and existing proposals. Data mining and qualitative analysis of the categories selected in the study were applied, supported by information from databases such as Scopus, Web of Science and Scielo. The exercise was carried out with the support of the Technological Surveillance and Competitive Intelligence Program of the Center for Research for Development and Innovation of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, supplemented with specific searches. The main findings show trends compared to authors and types of metrics used in our context, which allows showing the growing importance of social innovation and its measurements at the level of results, effects and impacts, as part of the scientific work in the Latin American social field. © 2020, Universidad del Zulia. Reconstruction of events recorded with the surface detector of the Pierre Auger Observatory
No full textCosmic rays arriving at Earth collide with the upper parts of the atmosphere, thereby inducing extensive air showers. When secondary particles from the cascade arrive at the ground, they are measured by surface detector arrays. We describe the methods applied to the measurements of the surface detector of the Pierre Auger Observatory to reconstruct events with zenith angles less than 60 using the timing and signal information recorded using the water-Cherenkov detector stations. In addition, we assess the accuracy of these methods in reconstructing the arrival directions of the primary cosmic ray particles and the sizes of the induced showers. © 2020 The Author(s)
