γ‐Terpinene: Biorenewable Reductant for the Molybdenum‐Catalyzed Reduction of Sulfoxides, N‐Oxides and Nitroarenes
No full textA molybdenum-catalyzed deoxygenation of sulfoxides, pyridine and quinoline N-oxides, N-hydroxybenzotriazoles, as well as the reduction of nitroarenes to anilines, has been developed using monocyclic terpenes such as γ-terpinene as an environmentally benign hydrogen surrogate. The only byproducts generated are water and p-cymene, under neat reaction conditions in which the terpene acts as both solvent and reducing agent. These features make this approach a highly attractive and sustainable alternative for the reduction of S-O and N-O containing compounds. Interpretation of the correlation energy of atoms, and its dependence with atomic number Z up to Z = 18
No full textAccurate correlation energies Ecorr of neutral atoms with atomic number Z =1–18, calculated from a combination of experimental and theoretical information, are available in the literature. Those empirical correlation energies show a grossly linear behaviour with Z. However, in more detail Ecorr deviates from global linearity and reveals a piece-wise linear behaviour with different slopes as the different electronic shells are progressively filled. This behaviour can be explained by writing Ecorr as a sum of pairing-correlation contributions. The pairing- correlation energies have been obtained from the empirical total correlation energies of atoms. Those pairing- correlations are very weak for electrons in different main shells (K, L, M shells) and larger for electrons in the same main shell. In addition, the pairing-correlation energies depend on the angular momenta of the two electronic orbitals. Those features are due to the role of the quantum overlap between the wave functions of the electrons involved in the pairing. Pairs of electrons showing a very small orbital overlap lead to negligible pairing-correlation energies. Keeping a reasonable number of terms, the shell- and angular momentum- dependent pairing-correlation energies explain well the intricate piece-wise linear behaviour of Ecorr(Z) up to Z =18. Get PDFEl propósito del trabajo que leerán a continuación es diseñar una propuesta didáctica para el
cuarto curso de la ESO en la que se trabaje la literatura del siglo XVIII implementando
metodologías activas. En cuanto a los contenidos literarios trabajados, proponemos Cartas
marruecas y Noches lúgubres de José Cadalso como obras neoclásica y prerromántica,
respectivamente, para enseñar a los estudiantes dos corrientes literarias opuestas a la vez que
comprendemos qué mensajes quiso transmitir el autor con ellas, como los valores e ideales
éticos y morales que él defendía en su época y cómo se relacionan estos con los que
promulgamos en nuestro mundo moderno. En lo que respecta a las metodologías activas,
desarrollaremos nuestra propuesta ayudándonos del Aprendizaje Basado en Juegos y el
Aprendizaje cooperativo, métodos que fomentarán en los alumnos una actitud más responsable
de su propio aprendizaje y les enseñará los contenidos de manera más atrayente.The purpose of the work that you will read below is to design a didactic proposal for the fourth
year of ESO in which 18th century literature is worked on by implementing active
methodologies. Regarding the literary contents, we propose Cartas marruecas and Noches
lúgubres by José Cadalso as neoclassical and pre-Romantic works, respectively, in order to
teach students about two opposite literary currents while understanding what messages the
author wanted to convey with them, as the values and ethical and moral ideals he espoused in
his time and how these relate to those we promulgate in our modern world. As far as active
methodologies are concerned, we will develop our proposal with the help of Game-Based
Learning and Cooperative Learning, methods that will foster in the students a more responsible
attitude towards their own learning and will teach them the contents in a more attractive way

No full textEl presente trabajo fin de máster explora, analiza y desarrolla la evolución en la explicación
y docencia de los términos promotor y mecenas a través de las asignaturas de Historia del
Arte y Fundamentos artísticos a partir del análisis de las diversas leyes educativas y como
estas se vieron reflejadas en los manuales y libros de texto de cara a su empleo por los
docentes para la exposición de los términos.
Una vez realizado dicho estudio se procede a proponer una serie de Situaciones de
Aprendizaje, un total de cuatro que abarcan todas las edades (Antigua, Media, Moderna y
Contemporánea) en las que se ofrecen distintos modelos para la enseñanza de los términos
promotor y mecenas abarcando todas las implicaciones políticas, sociales, económicas y
culturares que involucraron e involucran ambos términos.This master's thesis explores, analyzes, and develops the evolution of the explanation and
teaching of the terms "promoter" and "patron" in the subjects of Art History and Artistic
Foundations. This work is based on an analysis of the various educational laws and how
these were reflected in textbooks and manuals for teachers' use in explaining these terms.
Once this study is completed, a series of Learning Situations are proposed, a total of four
covering all ages (Ancient, Middle Ages, Modern, and Contemporary). These situations
offer different models for teaching the terms "promoter" and "patron," including all the

No full textEl presente Trabajo de Fin de Máster tiene como objetivo diseñar un club de lectura extraescolar
para el alumnado de 1º de Bachillerato, centrado en tres figuras femeninas de la Odisea:
Penélope, Circe y Helena. Siguiendo el calendario escolar, se abordarán tres novelas
contemporáneas, una por trimestre, seleccionadas por su accesibilidad, interés y capacidad para
captar a un alumnado joven: Penélope y las doce criadas (Atwood, 2005), Circe (Miller, 2019)
y Helena de Esparta (Minutilli, 2020). A través de estas obras, las autoras reinterpretan las
fuentes clásicas, proponiendo que sean los personajes femeninos quienes cuenten, en primera
persona, su propia historia.
El trabajo busca, mediante la lectura y posterior coloquio de las obras, construir un espacio
compartido para el disfrute y aprendizaje. La selección propuesta permitirá explorar, debatir y
redescubrir la literatura clásica desde nuevas perspectivas, permitiendo fomentar el
pensamiento crítico y la sensibilización en cuestiones de género.The present Master’s Thesis aims to design an extracurricular reading club for first‐year
Bachillerato students, centered on three female figures from the Odyssey: Penelope, Circe and
Helen. Aligned with the academic calendar, three contemporary novels will be chosen for their
accessibility, appeal and ability to engage a young audience: The Penelopiad (Atwood, 2005),
Circe (Miller, 2019), and Helen of Sparta (Minutilli, 2020). Through these works, the authors
approach and reinterpret the classical sources by giving voice, in the first person, to their female
characters.
This project seeks, through the reading and subsequent discussion of these texts, to create a
shared space for enjoyment and learning. The selected works will allow participants to explore,
debate and rediscover classical literature from fresh perspectives, fostering critical thinking and
raising awareness of gender issues
Análisis y expectativas del profesorado de inglés de Educación Primaria, Secundaria, Bachillerato, FP y EOI en Burgos
No full textCon esta tesis doctoral se ha querido describir como enseñan y que herramientas usa el
profesorado que imparte inglés en las aulas de Burgos tanto en los centros educativos de la
capital como en los de la provincia en Centros educativos de Infantil, de Educación Primaria,
Secundaria, Bachillerato, Formación Profesional, en la Escuela Oficial de idiomas como en
Centros Educativos de Personas Adultas. Para poder llevarlo a cabo se realizó un cuestionario
que completó el profesorado durante el curso 2020 con el cual se completó un estudio
descriptivo, correlativo y se recogieron distintas sugerencias. El profesorado aunque sigue
usando todavía herramientas tradicionales también trabaja con herramientas y metodologías
comunicativas encontrándose diferencias significativas según el género y la edad del
profesorado pudiendo destacar la motivación y la inclusión de las TIC en los procesos de
enseñanza de idiomas.This doctoral thesis aims to describe how teachers who instruct English in Burgos classrooms
teach and what tools they use, in the capital's educational centers and in those of the province
in Early Childhood Education Centers, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Sixth Form,
Vocational Training, in the Official Language School and in Adult Education Centers. In order to
develop, a questionnaire was carried out by the teachers during the 2020 academic year with
which a descriptive and correlative study and was completed with different suggestions were

No full textEsta tesis analiza cómo ha evolucionado la representación de la mujer en los
videojuegos, un medio que ha crecido exponencialmente y se ha consolidado como un
importante espacio cultural. El estudio se centra en los diez videojuegos más vendidos en
España en 2021, seleccionados por su impacto y popularidad, para identificar y
categorizar las representaciones femeninas presentes en ellos. Los personajes femeninos
se agrupan bajo tropos recurrentes que, a menudo, perpetúan estereotipos. Cada tropo se
examina dentro del contexto narrativo y visual del juego, ofreciendo un análisis crítico
sobre cómo influyen en la percepción de las mujeres y la cultura gamer. Con un enfoque
que combina teoría del videojuego y análisis de género, la investigación evidencia las
limitaciones en la representación femenina e invita a reflexionar sobre la necesidad de
cambios en la industria para promover mayor inclusión y equidad.This thesis analyzes how the representation of women in video games has evolved,
a medium that has grown exponentially and become an important cultural space. The
study focuses on the ten best-selling video games in Spain in 2021, selected for their
impact and popularity, to identify and categorize the female representations they feature.
Female characters are grouped under recurring tropes that often perpetuate stereotypes.
Each trope is examined within the narrative and visual context of the game, offering a
critical analysis of how they influence the perception of women and gamer culture.
Combining video game theory and gender analysis, the research highlights the limitations
of female representation and invites reflection on the need for changes in the industry to

No full textEl profesorado tiene ante sí el reto de responder a los desafíos del tiempo presente: un
mundo global sumido en una grave crisis ecológica, profundas desigualdades sociales,
conflictos y retrocesos en valores. La Educación para la Ciudadanía Global (EpCG) se
presenta como una potencial herramienta para promover en el alumnado una
ciudadanía crítica y comprometida con los Derechos Humanos y la justicia social. Este
estudio se basa en una investigación cualitativa llevado a cabo con profesorado de dos
centros, uno urbano y otro rural. Su intención, basándose en los resultados obtenidos
en entrevistas, grupos de discusión y el análisis documental de ambos centros, ha sido
identificar conocimientos, actitudes, percepciones, prácticas, limitaciones, y
expectativas existentes en el seno de ese profesorado. Los resultados, discutidos a la
luz de otras investigaciones sobre el tema, arrojan conclusiones de gran valor para el
desarrollo de estrategias de enseñanza basadas en la EpCG.Teachers are faced with the challenge of responding to the demands of the present time:
a globalized world immersed in a serious ecological crisis, deep social inequalities,
conflicts, and setbacks in values. Global Citizenship Education (GCE) emerges as a
potential tool to promote among students a critical and committed citizenship grounded
in Human Rights and social justice. This study is based on qualitative research carried
out with teachers from two schools, one urban and one rural. Its aim, based on the results
obtained from interviews, discussion groups, and documentary analysis of both schools,
has been to identify the knowledge, attitudes, perceptions, practices, limitations, and
expectations present among these teachers. The results, discussed in light of other
studies on the subject, offer valuable conclusions for the development of teaching
strategies based on GCE

No full textLos restos que encontramos en los yacimientos arqueológicos son una ventana a la investigación del pasado. El análisis de la fauna, la tecnología y las estructuras permiten conocer como los grupos utilizaron estos espacios. En esta Tesis Doctoral analizamos los restos de fauna recuperada en los yacimientos de La Ermita (Hortigüela, España), Cueva Millán (Hortigüela, España), Prado Vargas (Cornejo, España), Covalejos (Velo de Piélagos, España) , Cueva Morín (Villanueva de Villaescusa, España), El Castillo (Puente Viesgo, España) y Payre (Rompon, Francia) en busca de industria ósea, más concretamente de retocadores óseos, que nos permita reconstruir los modos de vida de los cazadores-recolectores del Paleolítico medio en un área de vital importancia como es la región Franco-Cantábrica. Para ello la investigación se ha apoyado en un protocolo experimental donde se ha buscado conocer la influencia que tiene la utilización de las herramientas, la dominancia de la mano de los talladores y la experiencia de estos.Remains recovered in archaeological sites are a window to understand the past. The analysis of fauna, technology and structures allows us to understand how these groups used these spaces. In this Doctoral Thesis we analyse the faunal remains recovered at the sites of La Ermita (Hortigüela, Spain), Cueva Millán (Hortigüela, Spain), Prado Vargas (Cornejo, Spain), Covalejos (Velo de Piélagos, Spain), Cueva Morín (Villanueva de Villaescusa, Spain), El Castillo (Puente Viesgo, Spain) and Payre (Rompon, France) in search of bone industry, more specifically bone retouchers, which would allow us to reconstruct hunter-gatherer subsistence strategies during the Middle Palaeolithic in an area of vital importance such as the French-Cantabrian inland.
